Trip to Apedale / Hanley 03-09-2018

Today Matthew was in Blurton and he was going to his day service. Later on he was returning to the residential unit. He was also going to Apedale for dinner. Matthew got up around 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Uncle Dave arrived around Midday and Matthew got dressed before we went out for dinner. We set off through Blurton and we saw First Potteries 67633 on a #22 to Newcastle. We stopped on Finstock Avenue. We went to the housing office and Matthew went to the toilet whilst I attempted to pay a bill. We returned down Finstock Avenue and we Ran forwards onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we saw D&G 118 on the #14 to Hanley. At the roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34. As we travelled North we passed ABC Supreme HV18 FHH. We ran through Hanford and under the A500 into Trent Vale. We continued past the hospital and into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road so that we could go past the bus station where we saw First Potteries 41501 on a #99 to Bradeley. We turned left onto Ryecroft and right onto the A34. We continued North through Cross Heath and we turned left onto london Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto Loomer Road and we continued to the end into Apedale Country Park to the heritage centre and to the car par. We parked up and Matthew walked down the steps and into the heritage centre. For dinner Matthew had a full English breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished Matthew had a twister lolly and we walked back up the steps to the car. We set off out of the Apedale Country Park onto Loomer Road and we diverted into Turner Crescent past the depot and we saw E-zec patient transport minibuses. We continued along Loomer Road and we turned sharp right onto London Road. We turned right onto Holditch Road and left onto Bymbo Road. We continuned along the A34 through Cross Heath and into Newcastle. As we passed the depot which was empty. We turned left onto Ryecroft and at the roundabout we turned right onto Barracks Road. We continued onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. Travelling up towards Hartshill. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we ran forwards onto King Street. We tried to take a short cut onto Anchor Road to avoid the traffic and went up Goldenhaill Road. After going to the end of June Road we ended up coming back down Goldenhill Road. We turned left onto Clarence road and we ended up coming back down March Road onto King Street again. We turned right onto baths Road and we ran forwards onto Foley Road. We turned right onto Longton Hall Road and we ran to the bottom of Blurton. We turned left onto Blurton Road and right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Road and we got back home around 14:00. We finished off the Blog and then we went back to the residential unit via uncle Dave's house. We set off through Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We ran forwards onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. At the lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran down into Fenton and we dropped off uncle Dave. After opening his biscuits and putting them in the biscuit tin, and updating his calendar we set off onto Wheildon Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street and we parked up near to the residential unit. We saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked nearby.

Matthew went up to his room to chill out and watched buses and once he had settle I said goodbye. Grandma & Grandad came to visit and they brought a can of Irn Bru and some mini Battenburg cakes. For tea Matthew had parsley sauce followed by cheesecake. Later on Matthew went out to the pub We set off downstairs and in the distance we saw Triumphant Christ Church NK08 LVC parked up by the church.

Temple street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street the pub we saw First Potteries 67151 on the #23 to Newstead.

Matthew we to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. After Matthew had finished in the pub we walked back to the residential unit. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto City Road and we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road. We went to Hanley on an Intercity taxi. It was Intercity SC08 KVD. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ring road. We then got up and got off the bus at the stop outside the bus station. Once off the taxi we set off up Lichfield Street and we went straight onto Stafford Street. We stopped at the dessert shop and Matthew had a red velvet cheesecake. when we had finished we walked back along Stafford Street and onto Lichfield Street. We waited for a taxi and when it arrived we saw it was Lucky Seven SF62 GZF. We set off down Lichfield Street and over the ring road. At Joiners square we crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Manor Street and right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
