Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. It was also the first day of a new D&G Bus bus service. The #26 is a new service from Hanley to Eaton Park & Bentilee. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We set off on foot onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside Travers Court. A few minutes later the bus to Hanley appeared and it was dud First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we saw First Potteries 67640 on a #7A to Biddulph. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We went into the bus station and we looked for the stand of the new #26 bus. We saw it was D&G Bus 43 on the #26 to Bentilee. We got on the bus bus and we booked to Bentilee before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring Road past the bus station and we turned left into Lichfield Street. We turned right into Birch Terrace and we followed the road around onto Charles Street. We turned right into Old Hall Street and crossed the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We crossed over Limekiln lights onto the A52 and we veered right onto Dividy Road. We turned right into Arbourfield Drive and we turned right into Southall Way. We turned right into Debenham Crescent and we ran forwards onto Kettering Drive. We turned right onto Southall Way and right onto Arbourfield Drive and we ran to the end to Berry Hill Village. After a brief stop we left Eaton park along Arbourfield Drive. We turned right onto Dividy Road and left into Beverley Drive. We turned left Dawlish Drive and we ran down to the neighbourhood centre where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed over to the neighbourhood centre and we visited the cafe. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished we headed out to the bus stop to wait for the next #26 to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching and it was D&G Bus 142. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Dawlish Drive and at the end we turned left onto Beverley Drive. We turned left onto Dividy Road and we turned right onto Arbourfield Drive. We turned right onto Southall Way and right onto Debenham Crescent. We ran around the estate and forwards onto Kettering Drive. We turned right onto Southall Way and right again onto Arbourfield Drive. We ran to the end of the drive and we stopped at Berry Hill Village before returning along Arbourfield Drive onto Dividy Road. We ran towards Bucknall and we veered left Bucknall Road and we crossed the traffic lights onto Bucknall New Road. We ran up the hill into Hanley and at the lights we turned right onto Potteries Way. We came off onto Town Road and we crossed the mini roundabout onto Quadrant Road. We ran past the back of the Intu Potteries shopping centre and we ran forwards onto Stafford Street. We ran up to Albion Square and we turned right into Albion Street. We followed the road to the left onto Bagnall Street and forwards onto John Street before running into Hanley Bus Station. We got up and got off the bus and we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the day centre. Later on we returned to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. We saw City Cabs YX61 VVO going towards Longton.

After a while we turned up to take Matthew out for tea. When we were ready we went downstairs and got in the car. We had a few things to pick up so we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road and we turned right onto George Street. We turned right onto Millicent Street and after a brief stop we continued to the pub. We turned left onto George Street and we turned left onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and we headed down the road into Stoke. We ran under the railway line and we crossed the A50 and we saw First Potteries 32648 on a #25 to Hanley. We ran forwards onto Church Street and we ran around Stoke town centre on the one-way system. We turned left onto Lonsdale Street and we turned right onto Flemming Road. We turned right onto Campbell Place and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We ran forwards onto Hartshill Road and we went up the hill through Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we turned right onto Albert Street. We crossed over A53 onto Sandy Lane and at the roundabout we turned right onto the A527. We ran through May Bank and we saw First Potteries 41497 on a #99 to Newcastle. We continued into Wolstanton and at the top of Porthill Bank we ran forwards into Bradwell. We turned right onto the A34 and we ran Northwards over the A500 up to Talke. We stopped and the pub and parked up. We got to the pub only to find out the pub was closed for renovation. We got back in the car and we decided to go back to the Potters Wheel in Bradwell. We Set off down the A34 and we crossed over the A500. We ran past the Parkhouse Industrial estate and we turned left onto Bradwell Lane. We stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. For tea Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When it was time to go we returned to the car for the trip back to Fenton. Bradwell Lane and we crossed over the roundabout and ran through Wolstanton. We ran forwards onto the A527 and we turned left and down the hill past Asda. We turned right onto the Southbound A500 and we came off at Stoke. We crossed over the A500 and we ran forwards onto Copeland Street. We went around the one-way system onto Glebe Street. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed over the A500. We went under the railway line and we turned left onto the A52. We ran along the A52 past the railway station and forwards past the university to Joiners Square. We turned right at the roundabout onto Victoria Road and left onto Cotesheath Street. We stopped to collect something and and we turned the car around in Austin Street. We returned along Cotesheath Street. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the roundabout we turned sharp right onto City Road and left into Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went up to Matthew's room and we wrote some of the Blog. Matthew also drank a can of Irn Bru. After doing a couple of entries I left and Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
