Trip to Minehead / Birches Head 13-11-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to Minehead. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 67653 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked outside.

Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we set off onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Masterson Street and we ran to the end. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and at the end we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill into Stoke and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 and we ran around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we parked up at Sainsbury's. Across the road we saw City Cabs Depot. London Road. In the West We continued through Oak Hill and into London Road. We ran down to Trent vale and we joined the Southbound A34. Southbound A500 and we ran down to the motorway. We got onto the Southbound M6. We ran Southwards along the M6 and we ran through Staffordshire through the Midlands to junction 8. We got onto the Southbound M5 and we ran for around 100 miles through the Midlands and into the West Country. We came off the M5 onto the A38 at junction 23 and we ran Southwards to the A39. We ran Westwards for around 12 miles and we turned right onto Seaward Way. We stopped at the Brewers Fayre pub and Matthew had dinner. Matthew used the toilet and had a glass of coke. For dinner Matthew had a mixed grill followed by lemon meringue and ice cream. When we had finished we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we set off along Seaward Way down to the A39. We travelled Eastwards for around 12 miles and we got onto the Northbound A38. We joined the M5 at junction 23 and we ran Northwards through the West Country and up into the Midlands. We joined the Northbound M6 and we continued Northwards throught the West Midlands and up through Staffordshire. We ran North to junction 15 where we cam off onto the A500. and we turned left onto the A34. We ran through Trent Vale and we turned right onto The Avenue. We turned right onto A52 and we ran through hartshill. When we got to Stoke we turned left Shelton Old Road. We crossed over the A500 and we ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We went under the railway line and to the top of the hill. Near to Snow Hill we turned right onto Norfolk Street. We turned left Croston Street and right onto Wellesley Street. We turned left onto College Road and we ran forwards onto Cleveland Road. We continued onto Regent Road and we had a brief stop. As we crossed Lichfield Street we saw Stanton's of Stoke VK61 BVG in the car park. We continued onto Derby Street and we turned right onto Botteslow Street. We turned left A52 and we followed the road to right at Limekiln lights. We turned right onto the A5272 and we ran through Bentilee to Adderley Green. At thr roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran up and over the hill and down into Longton. We ran around the one-way system onto market Street and we turned right onto Commerce Street. We turned right at the roundabout onto The Strand and we ran down under the railway line onto King Street. We Continued through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We ran down to Smithpool Road and we turned left and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went to chill out in his room. Whilst waiting we saw D&G Bus 115 on a #1 to Meir.

A few minutes later we saw Afford rent-a-car PO17 ZXJ heading towards Stoke.

For tea Matthew had shepherds pie and Chips followed by a Bakewell tart. Later Matthew went downstairs and out of the residential unit. He went to the disco in a car. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto baker Street. At the end we turned left onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp Left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we turned right onto the A52. We ran North to Bucknall and we continued onto the A5009. After passing through Abbey Hulton we turned left onto Birches Head Road. We arrived at our destination and we saw Strathmore Renault minibus EU16 ENO parked up outside. Matthew spent the time listening to music and even had a quick dance. When it was time to go home Matthew returned to the residential unit in a car. We set off onto Birches Head roan and we turned right onto the A5009. At Bucknall we went forwards onto the A52 an we ran up to Joiners Square. We turned right onto Victoria Road and at the top we turned sharp left onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and onto Temple Street and back the residential unit. Matthew had a bath and then chilled out in his room on his computer. For supper Matthew had toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark.
