Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to see Grandma later on and going to the pub and returning to Blurton for a long weekend. Before that though, Matthew was going to the dentist! It was also Black Friday. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go out he watched buses out of the window. we saw Stanton's of Stoke PSU 988. In the morning Matthew went to the dentist. We went downstairs and we got in a car. we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. At the end of the road we turned right onto City Road and sharp left onto Victoria Road at the roundabout. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and at the roundabout we turned right onto the A52. We ran to Bucknall and we turned left onto Bucknall Road. We turned right onto Keelings Road and left onto Bucknall Old Road. We continued onto Hillcrest Street and we turned right onto Garth Street. We parked up on Upper Huntbach Street car park and we walked to the dentist. Matthew visited the dentist but he didn't have any work done today. When the appointment had finished we returned to Fenton by car. We set off onto Garth Street and we turned left onto Bucknall Old Road. We turned right onto Keelings Road and left onto Bucknall Road. At the bottom of the hill we turned right at the lights onto the A52. We ran up to Joiners Square and at the roundabout we turned left onto Victoria Road. We turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto Baker Street and left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Masterson Street and right onto Watkin Street. We ran onto Temple Street and we parked up. We returned to the residential unit where work is currently being carried out. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. later on Matthew went to Hanley to collect his dinner. We went downstairs and got in the car. we set off onto Temple Street. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and at the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street We stopped at the chips shop and after we had picked up the food we returned to Fenton by car. We set off onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned left onto Victoria Road. We turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto Baker Street and left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Masterson Street and right onto Watkin Street. We ran onto Temple Street and we parked up. We returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and went to the dinning room and had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a bottle of Coke. When Matthew had finished eating he went to room to chill out whilst waiting for me to pick him up. I appeared around 14:30 and Matthew got ready to go to Blurton for the weekend. When we were ready we went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. We walked to the bus stop by the flats and we waited for a bus towards Newcastle. Almost immediately we saw D&G Bus 119 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. Whilst we waited for time, Matthew went to have a picture taken in the bus. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards the hospital. Whilst we waited we took a few pictures of buses. We saw First Potteries 67637 on a #4 to Hanley.

A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67660 on a #4 to Audley.

Also seen passing the bus station was Z Carz LDV minibus CN57 HWA heading Northwards.

After a while we saw First Potteries 65727 on a #4A to Kidsgrove.

We walked back over to the min part of the bus station to wait for a bus towards the hospital. A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 160 on a #9 to Biddulph.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Hospital. The rear of the bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside D&G Bus 160 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

As we set off we saw First Potteries 44514 on a #99 to Chell Heath. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and we saw First Potteries 65027 on a #101 to Hanley. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we saw First Potteries 63099 on a #22 to Newcastle. We got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and we walked up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. When it was time to go we went to the pub in the car. We set off onto Victoria Street and we ran down the hill. We turned left onto the A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road we saw First Potteries 67661 running out of service. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500. We turned right onto the A500 and we veered left into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. We set off back down towards Stoke and onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and and we went around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we headed into the West End. We ran to the end of London Road and we sat at the light waiting to turn right onto the A34. We arrived at the oub and we saw First Potteries 65036 on a #101 to Stafford. We walked into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 67663 on a #22 to Longton, Alfa 85 heading towards Newcastle, First Potteries 63173 on a #101 to Hanley and ABC Supreme HV18 FHH heading Southwards. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We ran past the site on which they intend to build 126 new houses. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We wrote the Blog and we sent a couple of e-mails. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
