Today we decided to visit Walsall. Matthew had a shortened day out due to him attending a party in the evening, so we had planned to take him to somewhere in the West Midlands and get 3 or 4 buses in just to finish off his weekend adventures. We did no research for the trip today other than to check the truckstop was still open on Sundays, and to check the weather. The westher was forecast for grey skies with cool weather, not as warm as it has been lately. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up at 09:35 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we set off just before 12:00. W got in the car and we set off to pick up uncle Dave. We set off through Blurton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Street. We crossed the A50 and we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we stopped to pick up uncle Dave. We continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Southbound A500. We stopped at the lights and we caught up with Flixbus YK74 PFG on a #076 service to Manchester.

We turned left at the lights on Church Street and we joined the one-way system around Stoke. We continued onto Campbell Place and we re-joined Church Street. We rn forwards onto Hartshill Road and we ran into Hartshill. We continued onto George Street and into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout on Ryecroft and we stopped to pick up our friend. We continued along Ryecroft and we turned left onto the A34. We turned right onto the A53 and we turned left onto Friarswood Road and we did a u-t8rn on Brook Lane and we headed Southwards down the A519. We ran down to Hanchurch and we joined the Southbound M6. As we travelled Southwards down the M6 we saw an unidentified Turners coach, an unidentified Tyrers coach, Selwyns BV23 ZXB(#540), an unidentified Eastons coach and an unidentified Woodstones coach. We came off the M6 at junction 12 and we headed East along the A5. We stopped at the truck stop for dinner. Matthew went to the toilet and as it was busy we sat on the seats outside. matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. He also had cake and custard to take away which he would have later on. When we had finished eating we went back to the car. Mum wanted to go to a shop in Cannock, so we suggested the best place to drop us off was in Bloxwich, as there was a frequent service down to Walsall. We set off on the Eastbound A5 and we ran to the other end of Cannock before we jpined the Southbound A34. We ran the 4 or so miles down to Bloxwich and we turned left in the town centre and parked up next the the park. We said goodbye to mum and we headed to the bus stops. On the way we saw National Express West Midlands 2006 on a #9 to Walsall. We went to the main stop on the High Street and we only had a few minutes to wait. A short time later we saw the bus turn the corner. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 6749 on a #32 to Walsall.

We got on the bus and we purchased a nBus Day ticket for £5.50 before we went upstairs. The rear of the top deck was empty so Matthew took a picture inside National Express West Midlands 6749 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

We deviated off the A34 onto Stafford Street and we ran the 2 or so miles into Walsall. We crossed over the A4148 and we ran down onto St Pauls Street and we entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a look around. We headed out of the bus station onto Hatherton Street and we saw Rotala Diamond 30925 on layover.

We walked back into the bus station and we looked for something to catch. As we got into the bus station we spotted National Express West Midlands 6728 on a #10 to Brownhills West.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto Hatherton Street. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ringroad onto the A461. We headed out of town and we ran through Rushall and Shelfield. We continued up to Walsall Wood and we turned left onto the B4152. We turned left onto the A452 and we crossed over the Wyrley and Essington Canal. We headed up the High Street and when we got to the Northern end we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of National Express West Midlands 6728 as it continued towards Brownhills West.

Once off the bus station we knew we would have around 40 minutes to wait for a differnt bus back. We walked onto Church Road and we went into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we had a small glass of Coke each. After we had finished our drinks we walked back along Church Road to the High Street and we saw National Express West Midlands 2115 on a #8 to Walsall. We went to the stop and we saw we had around 20 minutes to wait, so we had a walk around the block. We set off up the High Street and we turned right onto Lichfield Road. We turned right onto Great Charles Street and right onto Short Street. We cut across the car park onto Church Road and we walked back to the stop on High Street. We tood at the stop and waited for the bus back to Walsall. Whilst we waited we saw National Express West Midlands 6718 on a #937 to Birmingham.

A few minutes later we saw our bus turn the corner. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 6712 on a #10 to Walsall.

We set off along the A452 and we headed along the High Street. We continued down the High Street and over the canal and we turned right onto the B4152. We ran to into Walsall Wood and we turned right on to the A461. We ran through Shelfield and Rushall and we ran into Walsall. We crossed the ring road and we ran forwards onto Lichfield Street. We continued onto Bridge Street and we ran forwards onto St Pauls Street. We ran around the bus station and we entered from the North Eastern corner. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a quick walk around National Express West Midlands was the next bus to Bloxwich and we had been on this earlier in the day. We walked towards the Birmingham stops and we saw National Express West Midlands 6739 on a X51 to Birmingham.

We walked back to the bus station and we had 15 minutes to wait, so we went to the shop across the road. Matthew had a small bottle of cherryade and some chocolate. We headed back to the bus station and Matthew shared his Twirl. We had a choice of buses we could catch and we decided to head over to the double decker on the other side of the bus station. On the way we saw Chaserider 5034 on a #36 to Lichfield.

At the bus stop we saw it was National Express West Midlands 6754 on a #70 to Bloxwich.

We set off out off the bus station and we ran along St Pauls Street. At the roundabout we ran onto Green Lane and we crossed over the ring road. We ran North for around a 1/2 mile and then we turned left onto Stephenson Avenue. We entered the Reedswood retail Park and we stopped outside Sainsbury's before we returned back onto the main road. We ran North along Stephenson Avenue and around the Beechdale housing estate. We turned left onto Stephenson Square and we turned right onto Edison Road. We turned right onto Cavendish Road and right onto Bloxwich Lane. We turned left onto Leamore Lane and we headed Northwards. We continued onto Willenhall Lane and we crossed over the canal. We turned left onto Moorland Road and forwards onto Heather Road. We turned right onto Central Drive and left onto Sneyd Hall Road. We turmned right onto the A4124 and we crossed over the B4210. We turned right onto the A34 and we srtopped by the park. Matthew took another picture of National Express West Midlands 6754 before it returned on a #70 to Walsall.

We walked around the corner onto Park Road and we met up with mum and our friend. We walked acrosds to a nearby chip shop and we picked up our food order. Matthew had sausage and chip washed down with a bottle of cherryade. We set off up Park Road and we turned left onto the A4124. We turned right onto the B4210 and we headed through Mossley and Spring Hill. We turned right onto the Northbound A462 for a couple of miles and at Junction 11A we joined the Northbound M6. As we travelled up the M6 we saw blue minibus YT57 EAO and Voel Coaches OU17 OTV. We stopped at Stafford Services and Matthew went to the toilet. We got back in the car and we saw white minibus SA52 XVS. We joined the Northbound M6 and we came of at junction 15. We ran North up the A519 and into Newcastle. We ran forwards onto Barracks Road and we turned right onto Ryecroft. We dropped off our friend and we turned right onto Ryecroft. We Turned right onto Barracks Road and we continued onto the Southbound A34. We turned left onto the Avenue and we ran into Hartshill. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran down the hill into Stoke. We turned left onto Liverpool Road and right onto Elanora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and turned left onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and turned right onto Wheildon Road. After we dropped of uncle Dave we continued along Wheiledon Road. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 18:20. Matthew had chocolate cake and custard . We wrote some of the Blog and wrote an e-mail. Matthew had a baths, and afterwards he had some New York Cheesecake. We finished off the Blog and we went to bed around 00:00... Mark.
