Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Part of the service became the #100 to Stone, taking the route similar to the X1, from Stoke to Trentham via the A500 and A34. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW.

We went downstairs and Transport for the trip was an Intercity taxi. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. and we turned right onto City Road. We ran forwards onto King Street and we stopped at the charity shop to pic something up. We continued up through Foley and into Longton. We turned right onto Baths Road and we turned into Tesco. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we set off on foot to Longton Interchange. Following a re-organisation of D&G Bus services, The former #14 Hanley to Stone service was split. The service from Stoke through to Hem Heath became the #24, and was extended to serve Blurton, Newstead, Dresden and Longton. Some journeys around shift change time terminate at Hem Heath and return to Hanley. The new #24 service seem to get a variety of different buses, especially on the Hanley to Hem Heath runs. We looked at the bus time and we saw the first bus towards Blurton was to D&G Bus #24 service. Whilst we waited for the bus we saw First Potteries 63096 on a #11 to Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 116 on a #24 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the Interchange onto Baths Road. We ran forwards onto Market Street and we followed the one-way system around onto Commerce Street. We crossed over the A50 and we headed out of Longton along Lightwood Road. We turned right onto Belgrave Road and left onto Chaplin Road where we saw D&G Bus 134 on a #24 to Longton. At the end we turned right onto Cocknage Road and we continued onto the end of Queens Park. We turned left onto the A5035 where we saw D&G Bus 142 on a #24 to Longton. We ran through Blurton. We turned left onto Barlaston Road and right onto Waterside Drive. We turned left onto Wimbourne Avenue and we turned right onto Waterside Drive. we continued to the ens and we turned left onto Barlaston Road. We turned left onto the A5035 and right onto Ripon Road where we saw D&G Bus 145 on a #24 to Longton. At the end we turned right onto Finstock Avenue. We turned left onto Beaconfield Drive. We ran to the other end and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked all the way back to the house. Later on we were going shopping. We got in the car and we set off through Blurton. We ran along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road. We joined the Westbound A50 and we caught up City Cabs MT13 PGU.

At Sideway we joined the Northbound A500. We continued Northwards and we turned left onto Adsa. After parking up we went in the supermarket. Matthew used the toilets and afterwards we went around and did the shopping. When we had finished we decided to go have dinner. We left the retail park and we saw City Centre Central SF60 BYP parked up near Asda. joined the Southbound A500. We came off at Etruria and we went onto the Eastbound A53. We veered left onto Garner street where we saw silver minibus SP09 NTV. We stopped at the food van by the builders yard and Matthew had a Cumberland sausage bap. once we had finished we got a car back to the residential unit. We set off along Garner Street and we turned right onto the A500. We headed South through Stoke and we turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. For dinner Matthew had a Cumberland sausage bap washed down with a can of Coke. room to chill out and watch buses out of the window we saw Voyager Travel YT64 FMF. Later on we went downstairs and we set off Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. and across City Road. We waited at the bus stop for a bus to Hanley. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63034 on a #6A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car HV70 RWU parked up. We ran down the hill towards Stoke. We joined the A52 and we ran alongside the railway line. We passed near to the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we got up and got off the bus at the top of John Street where we saw new to the area First Potteries 63102 on a #3 to Crewe. We walked along Bagnall Street and Cheapside and we turned right onto Piccadilly. We turned left onto Stafford Street and we went to The Little Dessert Shop. Matthew had a slice of rainbow cake with custard. When he had finished he walked back along Stafford Street and forwards onto Lichfield Street. We called for a taxi back to Fenton. When it arrived we saw it was an Intercity taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off along onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the A52 and onto Victoria Road. we turned onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs to his room and use his computer and watched buses out of the window we saw silver minibus GN70 LLD going towards Hanley.

We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We stopped at the Co-op and Matthew had a bottle of Coke. We went outside onto Christchurch Street. We walked back into Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out. Whilst in his room we saw First Potteries 65042 on a #11 to Hanley

For tea Matthew had sausage sandwich followed by a pink blancmange with cream and chocolate sprinkles. Matthew took some batteries and We went downstairs to Meir to go out to see the site of the new school in Meir in an intercity taxi. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto City Road and we ran through Fenton. We continued onto King Street and through Foley into Longton. We went under the railway bridge into Market Street and we continued onto Uttoxeter Road. We ran through Normacot and then we joined the A50. We ran fast up to Meir and then we came off the A50 we turned right onto onto Broadway and we turned right onto Box Lane and we arrived at Abbey Hill. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we went on the bouncy castle. Afterwards we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We walked out onto Box Lane and we saw it was a Lucky Seven taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off along Box Lane. We ran forward onto Uttoxeter Road and forward onto Railway Road. We turned left onto the A50 onto Broadway. At the roundabout we turned right onto the and we turned right into Waterhead Road. We ran through to Upper Belgrave Road where we saw Premier Travel YD63 UMC. We turned right onto Lightwood Road and into Longton. We crossed over the A50 and we ran down The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down under the railway bridge onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC. City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room to chill out. Matthew had a bottle of Coke. He watched television and used his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
