Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Selly Oak. We had checked the weather for today and it was for dry weather with some sunny intervals. We agev Matthew a list of place to go in the North West and Midlands and from the list he chose Selly Oak. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley.

We came around 11:30 and Matthew came downstairs and got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. We set off onto Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and right onto the Westbound A50. At Sideway roundabout we turned left onto the Southbound A500 and we ran down to the motorway. We got onto the Southbound M6 and we ran down to junction 12. As we travelled South we passed Shearing Holidays 140, Abbey Coaches CE02 YRZ and an unidentified BBC East Lancs Myllenium single decker bus. We came of the M6 onto the eastbound A5 and we saw Linburg BF16 XPJ. We turned right at the roundabout and we joined the Southbound A4601. We got onto the A460 and we ran down to the motorway. We joined the Southbound M6 at junction 11 and we ran down to junction 10. We joined the Westbound A38(M) and onto the A38 and through the town onto the A4400. We turned right onto the A38 and and Selly Oak. After we had parked up crossed over the road and we waited at the bus stop for a bus to Longbridge. We saw a bus approaching and it was required National Express West Midlands 1921 on a #20 to Rednal. We got on the bus and we booked nBus day tickets at £4.20 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off Southwards out of Selly Oak down the A38 and we turned left onto Bristol Road South. We turned left onto the A38. We continued into Longbridge and we got up and got off the bus. We stop at the Southbound stops and waited for a suitable bus. As we approached the A few minutes later we saw First Worcester 69450 on a #144 to Worcester. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 7523 on a #63 to Frankley. We got on the bus and we flashed nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs. The bus set off onto the Southbound A38 and we ran up Rubery. We turned right onto New Road and we turned right onto Callowbridge Road under the A38 and we turned right onto Callowbrook Lane. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Callowbrook Lane and headed up to Deelands Road. We went into Costcutter. We brought a bottle of Coke and a few chocolate bars. We headed back along Deelands Road and we crossed over Callowbrook Lane. We waited for a bus back to Longbridge. Matthew ate a toffee crisp whilst we waited. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. AS it got closer we saw it was required National Express West Midlands 5512 on a #63 to Birmingham. We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off along Callowbrook Lane and we turned left onto Callowbridge Road. We turned left onto New Road and we turned left onto Cock Hill Lane and we joined the Northbound A38 and into Longbridge where we got up and got off the bus. Once we had let the bus go we set off towards Northfield to catch a bus back to Longbridge. Whilst we waited we saw First Worcester 69456 on a #144 to Birmingham. A few minutes later as expected we saw a double decker approaching, As it got closer we saw that it was required National Express West Midlands 5515 on a #63 to Birmingham. We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off down the A38 and we turned right onto Bristol Road South. We turned left onto the B4121 and we turned right onto the A38. We continued into Northfield and we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the A38 and we headed for the bus stop. As it got closer we saw it was required National Express West Midlands 5508 on a #63 to Frankley. We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off down the A38 and we turned left onto Bristol Road South. We turned left onto the A38. We continued into Longbridge and we got up and got off the bus. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Worcester 69459 on a #144 to Worcester. We got on the bus and we booked nBus day tickets to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the Southbound A38 and we ran up Rubery. We turned right onto New Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to the dessert shop on the corner. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke and toffee swirl cheesecake. Once we had finished we went out of the shop. We walked down New Road. As we got closer we saw that it was required First Worcester 69436 on a #144 to Birmingham. We flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver for the final time today and we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto New Road and we turned left onto Cock Hill Lane and we joined the Northbound A38 and into Longbridge where we got up and got off the bus. We returned to the car. We saw National Express West Midlands 5506 on a #63 to Birmingham. We walked back to the car and mum was waiting for us with Greggs sausage rolls and a can of Irn Bru. We set off onto the A38 and we turned right onto Bristol Road South. A few hundred yards up the road we pulled into a parking area and we stopped to pick up McDonalds. Once we had the chips we continued on our journey. Matthew had burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When I had finished eating we continued towards home. We set off Bristol Road South. We turned left onto the B4121 and we ran down to Shenley Fields. We continued through Shenley Green to California. We turned left onto Ridgacre Road to the roundabout we turned right onto Worlds End Lane. We turned left onto Quinton Lane and We turned left onto the A456. We joined the Northbound M5. We headed Northwards up the M6. We travelled through the West Midlands into Staffordshire and we came off the M6 at Junction 15. We joined the A519 and we ran North to Newcastle. We ran past the bus station and we joined the Eastbound A53 through Basford and into Etruria. We turned left onto Forge lane and we ran around to Festival Way. We ran back under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We joined the ring road and we ran around to Lichfield Street. At Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and as we ran towards Stoke. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left to to towards the A500 and we veered left onto Whieldon Road. We dropped uncle Dave off and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards Matthew had some of uncle Rob's Irn Bru and we wrote on the calendar. We got back in the car and we continued up Whieldon Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road and we saw Shelton Care Group BL69 RFE. we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. we went upstairs to his room. Matthew used his computer and ate a jam doughnut. Matthew had a haircut. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark
