Today Matthew was going out on the bus and later on returning to Blurton. He was also due to go to the dentist today, but this had to be cancelled due to unforseen circumstances. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Matthew chilled out in his room until it was time to go out. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto City Road and past the site of the new Burger King. We walked Eastwards towards King Street and we turn ed the corner onto Victoria Place and waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67150 on a #6A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street past the site of the new housing development. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew visited the toilet. We set off onto Lichfield Street and we went forwards onto Tontine Street. We visited Poundland and after doing some shopping we walked across Market Square and visited Primark. We walked back across the square and we went to Card Factory. We walked back down Tontine Street onto Old Hall Street and we visited B&M. Afterwards we went across onto Stafford Street and went to Wilko. We walked onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station Matthew visited the toilet again and afterwards we saw First Potteries 67148 on a #7A to Biddulph. We crossed onto Birch Terrace and we cut down towards the crossing over the ring road. We stopped at Venus Fish Bar and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down bottle of Coke. Afterwards we crossed over the ring road and headed up to Birch Terrace, We crossed over Lichfield Street and we waited for a bus back towards Fenton. We went to the shop in the bus station and Matthew bought a can of dandelion & burdock. Whilst waiting for the bus we saw First Potteries 35948 on a #3A to Talke. A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. It was First Potteries 67144 on a #6 to Parkhall.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over Victoria Road and we turned the corner onto City Road. We turned left on to Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out until it was time for me to come and fetch him. Around 15:00 Matthew came downstairs and met me outside. We said goodbye to mum who had dropped me off and we cut through onto City Road. We headed to the bus stop outside the flats. On the way we saw Afford rent-a-car BG72 UEX parked up outside their garage.

We continued to the bus stop and after a short wait we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67180 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and in the petrol station. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walkd down to the bottom of the bus station to see what we could see. We saw First Potteries 63172 arrive on a #4A to Hanley.

A short time later we saw another bus approaching. It was First Potteries 35942 on a #25 to Hanley.

We walked up to the stand and we got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before we went upstairs and sitting down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 35942 as it continued towards Hanley.

e crossed over the A34 and we walked up to the hill towards grandma's. On the way we saw black minibus DY59 VRD. We continued up the hill and into grandma's house. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru. When it was time to go we said goodbye to Grandma and we got in the car. We set off just before 18:00 and we ran down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale past the site of a new Greggs. We continued through Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 33828 on a #101 to Stafford, ABC Supreme YA67 VBB going Northwards, Global Travel 5621 RU going Southwards and Leon's coaches 246 heading Southwards. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Later on we went to drop mum off at her friends house. We got in the car and we set off through Blurton. We got onto the A5035 and we ran towards Dresden. We turned right onto the B5038. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A5005. We turned left onto Gravelly Bank and we crossed over the A520 onto Grange Road. We turned left onto the B5029 and we turned left onto Whitestone Road. We turned left onto Lysander Road and we dropped mum off at her friend's house. We rejoined Lysander Road and we past McDonald's which is to be made even bigger. we ran Northwards up to the A50 and we joined the Westbound side. We ran through Meir and Normacot and we came off the A50 at Longton. We crossed over Lighwood Road onto Rosslyn Road and we turned left onto the A5035. We ran through Dresden into Blurton and we got back home about 20:00. We wrote some e-mails, did some work on the Blog and we transfered some pictures off my phone. We chilled out on the computer and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. Later on Matthew went to bed around 00:00... Mark.
