Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the dentist and we saw Shelton Care Group FP75 DZB outside. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street and we across City Road. At the top we crossed over Victoria Road to wait for the bus at the bus stop. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 35950 on a #6 to Coalville. We got on the bus and we booked to Meir Park before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up City Road and forwards onto King street We ran through Foley and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over Market Street and we walked down The Strand and we walked through to the market and Matthew went to the toilet. We came out of the market and we crossed over Market Street and we went into the tropical fish shop. We had a look at the fish before going back outside. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67143 on a #6 to Coalville.

Once we had finished the drink we saw it was First Potteries 63102 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. at the top of the hill we turned right onto the anticlockwise ring road and we turned left onto Town Road. We turned right onto Quadrant Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus. Once we had finished we went to the Intu Potteries shopping centre and Matthew went to the other end and up in the lift. We went into a shop and then we returned onto Market Square and we stopped at Greggs. Afterwards we walked back along Market Square and we walked across Tontine Square. We went into Stafford Street and forwards onto Lichfield Street and we stoped at Venus Fish Bar and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. Matthew washed this down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we set off across the ring road and we cut through onto Birch Terrace. We continued onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63174 on a #38 to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Talke Pits before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and then we joined the clockwise ring road. At the end we turned left onto Etruria Road before going under the A53 onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past a new minibus building by the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford and we ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We returned to the bus station and we waited for a bus to Hanley. We walked out of the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. Eventually the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63359 on a #101 to Hanley.

We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and when we got to Hartshill we veered left onto Shelton New Road. We ran over the railway line and canal and we went up to Snow Hill. We turned left and ran up Broad Street. We turned right onto the ring road and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we ran up to the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We were considering what bus to do next and we saw First Potteries 67147 on a #501 to Wolstanton. A few mninutes later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 67172 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton we sat down. We set off up set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 37430 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We turned left onto Market Street and right onto Commerce Street past the former Co-op Bank. We went arounf the roundabout and turned right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off. We walked down City Road and we turned right onto onto Glebedale Road and we walked along Baker Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street. We returned onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When Matthew got back we went upstairs and went up to his room to chill out and use the computer. Matthew also watched buses out of the window. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car CK25 VLE outside there yard. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the got off the bus. Once we got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67153.

Once off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. We afterwards we waited for a bus towards Trent Vale. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67155 on a #21 to Trentham. We got on the bus and we booked to Trent Vale before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned left onto Station Road and we ran part the railway station before going right onto Glebe Street. After a brief stop we continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. The bus rounded the corner onto Campbell Place and forwards onto London Road. We continued through the West End and Oakhill and past the former Oakhill pub. We ran into Trent Vale and we turned left onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus. As we set off towards the pub we saw First Potteries 63356 on a #22 to Newcastle. We went into the pub and Matthew found a seat where he could see out of the window. We walked into the pub and Matthew had a mixed grill washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters matthew had a cheesecake with custard. whilst at the pub highlights of the bus sightings were First Potteries 63172 on a #101 to Stafford and AJS Passenger Travel EO67 BXN heading Northwards. When he had finished eat Matthew set off onto the A34 and around the corner onto London Road to wait for the bus back towards Stoke. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67153 on a #21 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along London Road and we ran through Oak Hill past the former Oak Hill pub. We continued through the the West End before running into Stoke Town centre and Campbell Place. We continued around the one-way system onto Church Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over the road to catch a #11. We turned right into Church Street to wait for a First bus back up to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6009 on a #1 to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 6009 before it continued towards Meir.

We crossed over City Road and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew had a bath followed by toast for supper. Matthew then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark
