Today Matthew was going to Blurton and going to the pub, but first he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and took his medication. For breakfast Matthew had egg on toast. Before Matthew went out, he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the dentist and we saw Shelton Care Group FP75 DZB outside. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street and we across City Road. We carried on along King Street and we saw First Potteries 63103 on a #11 to Newcastle. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was D&G Bus 6009 on a #1A to Meir. We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton before turning right into Baths Road and we entered Longton Transport Interchange and we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus Matthew took a picture of D&G Bus 6009 before it carried on towards Meir.

Once off the bus we headed to the strand and we went into Longton Market. Matthew used the toilet. We came out of the market and we crossed over Market Street and waited fot a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63358 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and we turned right onto John Street. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off out of the bus station onto Lichfield Street. We went forwards onto Tontine Street an onto Tontine Square. We continued onto Market Square and around the corner to Greggs. Matthew picked a cake fot later. We headed back through the sqiares onto Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we went to the chip shop. Matthew had sausage, chips and gravy washed down with a can of shandy. After we had finished eating we retrned to the bus station. We crossed over the ring road and onto Lichfield Street. We headed into the bus station and we waited for a bus to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw a bus come on stand. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6002 on a #9 to Clayton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto john Street and left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down through Shelton along Regent Road and College Road. We passed the railway station and we continued forwards onto the A52. We followed the road to the right under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 we entering Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We turned left onto Princes Road past the old school. Part of site was demolished to make more car parking spaces. We ran into Penkhull village. We onto Newcastle Lane and we turned right onto Hilton Road. We turned into the hospital and as we travelled through the hospital we saw ERS Medical FJ21 HJZ and ABC Supreme HV22 HKM. We turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus we waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6011 on a #1A to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the the grounds. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Roseville FD70 YDT. We turned left onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we turned left onto Fountain Street. We turned right onto William Street and we walked past the former pub which is up for sale. We returned back down Willim Street and left onto Manor Street. We crossed over city road and we cut through onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out whilst waiting for us to arrive. Matthew had his cake and a can of Cherry Coke. We arrived around 15:00 and Matthew came downstairs to us. As grandma was still on holiday we decided to catch a bus back to Blurton. We said goodbye to mum and we set off on foot onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and we stopped at the bus stop on Albert Square. A short time later we saw the bus come around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Christchurch Street we turned right onto Station Bridge Road. We went forwards onto Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50 onto Blurton Road. We ran down the hill and we went past the BP garage. We ran up the hill and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beacosfield Drive and we saw silver minibus D11 SCX. At the other end of Beaconsfield Drive we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67156 as it continued towards Newstead.

Once off the bus we set off on foot to the house. Matthew had some toast and usd his computer. Around 17:30 we set off tothe pub. We got in the car and we set off through Blurton past the site of the new housing development onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line into Trentham and we turned right onto the A34. We passed throught Hanford and as we reached the A500 we were passed by ABC Supreme KP25 EHC on the roundabout. We ran into Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 35943 on a #101 to Stafford and Cababilty FJ11 FJD heading towards Newcastle. Once we had finished eating we set off set off to Blurton. We joined the Southbound A34 and we ran through Trent Vale. We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and we continued into Trentham and we crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We wrote the Blog and wrote an e-mail Later on we dropped uncle Dave off back at home. Later on we did some more of the Blog and had a can of Cherry Coke. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
