Trip to Hanley / Crewe 15-05-2021

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to stay fairly local. In light of the weather forecast it was perhaps a good idea. We didn't do any research for the trip other than to check the weather. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw D&G Bus 111 on a #1A to Meir.

Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. The bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. down under the railway line and into Stoke. We got up and got off the bus and we went around the corner into Church Street to Stoke Cafe. Uncle Dave escorted Matthew downstairs to the toilet and I ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we walked down Church Street. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63177 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we flashed the Network Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we saw First Potteries 69155 on a #7A to Biddulph. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the stand for the Crewe bus and we waited for the next one. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 65727 on a #3 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we flashed the First Day ticket to the driver before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto Trinity Street and we went past the former RBS now a new shop. We turned left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams we followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Burslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street We saw First Potteries 63034 on a #3 to Hanley. and we continued North onto the A50. We ran through Goldenhill and down the bank into Kidsgrove. We ran under the railway line and we past Lidl. We into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34. We continued into Church Lawton and then into Alsager. We continued Westwards along the B5077 under the M6 and into Radway Green. We followed the road to the right up Slaughter hill and we continued straight up into Haslington. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station where we saw an unidentified Majestic coach. We continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw Arriva NW&W 2934 on a #31 to Northwich. We decided to have a quick walk around town for a break from buses. We set off around the corner onto Charles Street and right onto Victoria Street past the former Wetherspoons pub which closed down as part of the new bus station development that will be starting soon. We turned right onto Market Street and left onto Earle Street. We walked past the market which is under renovation, and we stopped at the pub on the end of the road. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we had a glass of Coke. Whilst we gad our drink we asked Matthew hwere he wanted to go next. He wanted to go to Congleton so we looked at the time of the next bus. there was a departure in just less than 20 minutes so we finished our drinks and walked back to the bus station. We set off down Prince Albert Street and we turned right onto Crewe Street. We followed the street to the left onto and we turned right onto Moss Square. We re-joined Prince Albert Street and we turned left onto Chester Street and we turned right onto Market Street. We turned left onto Delamere Street and we entered the bus station from the Southern End. We walked into the main station and we saw Arriva NW&W 4406 on a #31 to Northwich. We saw a few buses parked up on layover. Opposite was Arriva NW&W 2931 parked up. After a short while we saw Arriva NW&W 2933 on a #38 to Macclesfield. We got on the bus and we booked Arriva NW&W Day Savers at £5.50 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Delamere Street. We followed the road around to the right onto Chester Bridge past the site of the up and coming Little Dessert Shop. We crossed the railway line and onto Edleston Road. At the end of the long straight road we turned left onto the A534 and we ran past the railway station ans past B&Q. We traveled Eastwards along Crewe Road. We went through Haslington and Winterley and further North through Wheelock Heath. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock. We ran over the canal and into Sandbach town center past Sandbach School. When we got to the Common onto Congleton Road. We joined the A534 and past the site of the new development by the M6. We continued along the A534 and we crossed over the M6 and into Arclid. We carried on through Medhurst Green and we crossed over the Wall Hill roundabouts. On the edge of Congleton we joined the A34 and we ran East along the road for a short while before going onto West Street. We turned left onto Antrobus Street and turned left Mill Street. We turned right onto Mountbatten Way and We turned right into Market Street, past the Bear Grills cafe and into the bus station. We got off the bus. We walked up to the top end of the bus station and Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards we continued up Market Street and we turned right on to Bridge Street and we turned right onto Mill Street. We turned left onto the A54 and we turned left onto the A34. We turned right onto Barn Road psat the former Congleton Household Waste which is new a Costa Coffee. We ran forwards onto Viking Way past the site of the new homes, supermarket, local centre, offices, and light industrial development. We walked back up Viking Way and forwards onto Barn Road. We turned left onto the A34 and we turned right onto the A54. We turned right into Market Street and into the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Holmes Chapel. After a short while we saw D&G Bus 36 on a #42 to Crewe. We got on and we booked singles at £1.50 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. When it was time we set off up Market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned left onto Mill Street and we climbed the hill, turning right onto West Street. At the roundabout we went straight onto the A34 and up West Heath. we went straight ahead onto the A54. We turned right onto Cumberland Road and we turned left onto Longdown Road. We turned left onto Delamere Road. We turned right onto the A54. We through Somerford. We traveled through through Brereton Heath. We up through Davenport and we ran down through Sandlow Green and we turned right onto Manor Lane. We turned left onto the A535. We ran down the hill into Holmes Chapel. We turned left onto the A50 and we got up and got off the Once off the bus we set off on foot up the A50. Once off the bus we walked through town back towards the centre. We had spotted a co-operative food store on the way past so we walked. Matthew had a a can of Coke and a couple of chocolate bars. We crossed over the road and we headed to the bus stop. We waited for a bus back towards Congleton. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 155 on a #42 to Congleton. we got on and we booked singles before we sat down towards the back of the bus. When it was time we set off up the A50. We turned right onto the A535 and turned right onto Manor Lane. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A54. We ran through Sandlow Green and we continued up to Davenport. We crossed over the A536 and we continued North through Somerford. We ran through West Heath. We turned left onto Delamere Road and we turned left onto Longdown Road. We turned right onto Cumberland Road. We turned left onto the A54. On the edge of Congleton we joined the A34 and we ran East along the road for a short while before going onto West Street. We turned left onto Antrobus Street and turned left Mill Street. We sat in one of the bus stops and Matthew ate a couple of fun sized Milky Way bars. Whilst we were eating we saw D&G Bus 135 on a #94 to Newcastle. After a short while we saw D&G Bus 127 on a #42 to Crewe. We got on and we booked singles for the final time today each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. When it was time we set off up Market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned left onto Mill Street and we climbed the hill, turning right onto West Street. At the roundabout we went straight onto the A34 and up West Heath. we went straight ahead onto the A54. We turned right onto Cumberland Road and we turned left onto Longdown Road. We turned left onto Delamere Road. We turned right onto the A54. We through Somerford. We traveled through through Brereton Heath. We up through Davenport and we ran down through Sandlow Green and we turned right onto Manor Lane. We turned left onto the A535. We ran down the hill into Holmes Chapel. We turned left onto the A50 and we got up and got off the Once off the bus we waited for mum to arrive. Mum appeared and we got in the car. Matthew had a sausage roll and a can or orange Fanta. We set off along the A50 and we ran into Brereton Green and down towards Brereton. We continued down through Arclid. We ran through Fourlanes End and into Rode Heath. We continued over the A5011 and into Staffordshire and we ran under the railway line into Talke. We ran forwards onto the A34. At the next roundabout we turned left onto the A500 at Sideway and we got onto the Eastbound A50. We came off at Longton and we went to Z Carz to see what was there this evening. There was nothing on the spare ground so we turned left into Willow Row. In the yard was Z Carz Ford minibus LG09 WPE. We went West along the A50 at Heron Cross and we turned right onto Blurton Road. We ran through Heron Cross onto Heron Street and we followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road. We turned left onto Christchurch street and left again onto Masterson Street. We turned right onto Watkin Street and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. For a late tea Matthew had a chicken burger from KFC. He also had some fries and a cup of Coke. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst in the room we saw First Potteries 65727 on a #11 to Newcastle. Matthew chilled out in his room until dinner time. For dinner Matthew had beans on toast followed by cake. We went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. We walked to the stop opposite the flats and we watched the digger across the road which had started work on the new sheltered housing complex. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67159 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street. and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We got up and got off the bus and we walked onto Lichfield Street. When we got to Hanley we called for a taxi to Shelton. The taxi appeared and it was a Z Carz taxi. We got in taxi and we set off along onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto the ring road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street. We turned right onto Cleveland Road. We turned left into The Parkway and we went into Hanley Park and parked in the car park. We walked over to the pavilion. Once we had finished in the park we walked down College Road. we returned to Hanley in an Intercity taxi. We set off down College Road. We continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down Lichfield Street. Once off the taxi we set off up Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We visited B&M and we brought some shopping. When we had finished we set off onto Old Hall Street and we turned left onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 37122 on a #25 to Keele. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67159 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street we saw Harry Shaw YR17 CYL at the depot. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we saw D&G Bus 127 on a #40 to Longton.

Back to the residential unit and we saw Stanton's of Stoke SO57 OKE going towards Stoke.

We went upstairs and Matthew drank his bottle of Coke. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw E-zec patient transport YJ16 GGZ going towards Stoke.

went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. and we turned right onto City Road and we walked up to the roundabout and around the corner onto Victoria Road to wait for the bus to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67154 on a #6A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street. we turned left onto the ring road where we saw First Potteries 44511 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We got up and got off the bus and we walked onto Lichfield Street. When we got to Hanley we called for a taxi to Bentilee. The taxi appeared and it was a Z Carz taxi. we got in and we set off along Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We ran around the ring road and we turned right onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. We ran forwards onto the A52 and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We turned into Brecon Way and we turned into Aylesbury Road. We visited a house. For tea Matthew had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop followed a couple of slices of chocolate cake. Matthew also had a can of Coke and some digestive biscuits. When we had finished we returned to Fenton by Z Carz taxi. We got in the taxi and we ran through the estate and back onto the A5272 and we saw First Potteries 63118 on a #11 to Hanley. We ran up to Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We turned left onto Market Street and we ran forwards onto Uttoxeter Road and we turned right into Chadwick Street. We turned right onto Normacot Road and we crossed over the roundabout onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC. City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room to chill out. He watched television and used his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in Blurton and he was going to his day service. Later on he was returning to the residential unit. Matthew got up around 10:15 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Later on we were going shopping. Around 11:00 we got in the car and we set off We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we saw First Potteries 63177 on a #22 to Longton. We ran to the end. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and we followed the road around onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line into Trentham. we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We ran through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle bus station. We turned left onto Ryecroft and right onto the A34. We continued North through Cross Heath and we turned left onto London Road. We dropped off the car off at the MOT place and we waited for mum to pick us up. Once mum had picked us up we set off towards Asda. We set off along Brymbo Road and we turned left onto the Northbound A34. We turned right onto the B5369 and we ran into May Bank. We turned left onto the A527 and we ran down the hill into the retail park and we ran into Asda. After parking up we went in the supermarket. Matthew used the toilets and afterwards we went around and did the shopping. When we had finished we decided to go have dinner. We left the retail park and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran Southwards to Sideway and we ran ran eastwards along the A50 by the BET365 Stadium and we ran Southwards down Stanley Matthews Way. We turned left onto the A5035. We turned left onto Ripon Roadand right onto Finstock Ave. We turned right onto Consett Road and we ran to the end. We turned left onto Beaconsfield Drive we saw First Potteries 63098 on a #22 to Longton. we set off onto the A5035. We turned left and ran through Dresden and up to Longton and we ran along the high level A50. We turned at Heathcote Road and we parked up near to Sports Direct. We walked along Gold Street and around the corner onto The Strand. We had decided to go for dinner at the Britannia Cafe. Matthew had a a double bacon and sausage oatcake washed down with a can of Coke. Highlights of the bus sighting whilst we ate include First Potteries 37156 on a #6 to Hanley. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we set off on foot to Longton Interchange. We waited for a bus towards Blurton. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 127 on a #40 Fenton circular.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw D&G Bus 37 on a #1A to Wood Lane. The bus set off out of the Interchange onto Baths Road past Tesco. We cross over the A50 onto Foley Road and at the end we turned right onto Longton Hall Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 127 as it continued towards Fenton.

We waited for a bus towards our part of Blurton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67655 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Longton Hall Road and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran up the hill and at the roundabout we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and ran to the far end where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67655 as it continued towards Newcastle.

We walked all the back to the house and we chilled out at home for a while, doing some of the Blog. Later on we returned to Fenton. We set off onto We turned right onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line into Trentham. we turned right onto the Northbound A34. As we travelled North we passed First Potteries 65041 on a #101 to Stafford. We ran through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle bus station. We turned left onto Ryecroft and right onto the A34. We continued North through Cross Heath and we turned left onto London Road. We dropped off the car off at the MOT place and we waited for mum to pick us up. Once mum had picked us up we set off towards residential. We rejoined the Southbound A34 and we ran towards Newcastle. We turned left onto Ryecroft and right onto Barracks Road. We ran past the bus station and we saw First Potteries 32649 on a #25 to Hanley. We continued down to the A34. We turned left at the Avenue and we ran up to Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When we got there we saw Temple Street Church minibus RX18 GZW parked up nearby. We went upstairs to his room and we put all his shopping in his cupboard or in the kitchen. Outside we saw orange minibus YM18 VYL going towards Stoke.

For tea Matthew had chicken & rice. Matthew then went out to Hanley. We went downstairs and it was an Intercity taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we crossed over City Road onto Manor street. At the end of manor street awe turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down to joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we parked up in the small car park in front of the pub. We went into the Coachmakers Arms. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had 1/2 a Coke. After we had finished we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring Road and we ran down to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the roundabout we turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we went to his room and chilled out. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. He watched television and used his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We waited for the next bus to Longton. After a short wait we saw D&G Bus 127 on a #40 to Longton. We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. At the end we turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we crossed over the railway line. We ran forwards Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50. We ran into Blurton along Blurton Road and we turned left onto Longton Hall Road. We ran up the hill and we ran forwards onto Heathcote Street. We turned left onto the high level A50 and at the roundabout we turned right onto Baths Road. We ran past Tesco before turning right into Longton Interchange. Once off the bus we waited for the bus to Trentham. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63174 on a #22 to Newcastle. The bus set off out of the Interchange onto Baths Road past Tesco. We cross over the A50 onto Foley Road and at the end we turned right onto Longton Hall Road. We ran down the hill into Blurton and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran up the hill and at the roundabout we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we ran to the end. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and we followed the road around onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line into Trentham. At the next stop we got up and got off the bus. Once over the bus we continued over the canal and into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had had a carvery. He had beef and gammon with potatoes, carrots and a Yorkshire pudding with gravy. For afters Matthew had chocolate fudge cake with custard. When he had finished Matthew went to the toilet. We set off on foot onto Longton Road and we crossed over to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Longton. We saw a bus approaching and as it got closer we saw it was recent arrival First Potteries 63178 on a #22 to Longton. We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along the A5035. We crossed over the canal and the railway line and into Blurton and we turned left into Magdalen Road. At the junction we followed the road around to the right onto Finstock Avenue. We turned left onto Beaconsfield Drive and we ran through the estate to the other end. We turned left onto Church Road and at the the roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and we turned right onto Longton Hall Road. We ran up the hill and we ran forwards onto Heathcote Street. We turned left onto the high level A50 and at the roundabout we turned right onto Baths Road. We ran past Tesco before turning right into Longton Interchange. Once off the bus we waited for the bus to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 127 on a #40 to Fenton. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. we set bus set off out of the Interchange onto Baths Road past Tesco. We cross over the A50 onto Foley Road and at the end we turned right onto Longton Hall Road. We ran down the hill into Blurton and we turned right onto Blurton Road. We ran up the hill and at the roundabout we crossed over the A50. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Street and we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran into Fenton and forwards onto Whieldon Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road. We got up and got off at the stop near to Stewart street. Once off the bus Matthew walked up Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out until. He used his computer and watched buses out of the window before going out to see uncle Dave. We saw First Potteries 44514 on a #23 to Hanley.

When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we went downstairs and we set off onto we set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road we saw D&G Bus 127 on a #40 to Longton. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road where we saw NVP Vehicle Rentals NA10 TXO. and into uncle Dave's. Matthew had some cheesecake and a can of Fanta orange. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. Later on he had another slice of cheesecake and a few digestive biscuits and custard creams. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the new building under construction, which is now getting near to completion. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to Hanley on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

Around 09:00 we went downstairs and we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street and into the day centre. At the day centre in the morning Matthew did communication studies. For dinner Matthew had a cheese oatcake followed by a Bakewell Tart. In the afternoon Matthew went to Hanley on the bus. We set off on foot onto City Road. We crossed over City Road and we walked up to Victoria Place to wait for a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 41499 on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ring road. We then got up and got off the bus at the stop outside the bus station. Once off the bus we set off up Lichfield Street and went straight on onto Stafford Street. We walked up Tontine Street and around the corner into Tontine Square. We went into Harley's and Matthew had a glass of Coke. Once we had finished there we walked across the square to the Into Potteries shopping centre. WE went up the escalator onto the first floor and we went to the pattiserie stall outside HMV. Matthew brought a biscuit on a stick. Once we had finished we set off across Tontine Square onto Tontine Street. Matthew went into the pub on the corner of Old Hall Street to use the toilet. AS it was a nice day we sat on the seats and watched buses on Stafford Street. We saw First Potteries 53155 on a #8 to Ball Green.

We walked back down Lichfield Street and we stood at the stop outside the bus station and waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 65042 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned right into Birch Terrace. We followed the road around to the left onto Charles Street. At the top we turned right onto Old Hall Street before turning right onto the ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. One off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. For tea Matthew had chips and beans followed by a Bakewell Tart. Matthew then went to his room to get ready to go out. Whilst we waited .Tonight Matthew went out to the disco in a car and we saw Stanways LIG 2362 going to Hanley. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. At the end we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the a52 and we ran up to Bucknall. At the lights we went straight on, forwards onto the A5009 and we ran through Abbey Hulton. We turned left onto Birches Head Road and we stopped at the disco. Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke and did some dancing. When it was time to go back to Fenton we travelled back on car. We set off onto Birches Head Road and we turned right onto the A5009. We ran down though Abbey Hulton and into Bucknall where we went straight onto the A52. We ran through Joiners Square and towards Stoke railway station we continued along the A52 along side the railway line and we then turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out. He used his computer and watched music videos on the Television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark
