Today Matthew was going shopping and later on going back to the residential unit. I woke Matthew up at 08:00 and he had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast for breakfast. Around 12:00 we set off to the shops. We got in the car and we set off through Blurton onto the A5035. We turned right onto Stanley Matthews Way and we ran to the end. We joined the Westbound A50 and we ran down the hill to Sideway. We came off the A500 at shelton New Road and we turned right as if we were going to join the Southbound A500 and we turned right onto Garner Street. We stopped at the food truck and Matthew had a cumberland ring, bacon and egg on a bap washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we went to get some shopping. We set off along Garner Street and we went under the A53 and we came off the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane and we saw First Potteries 35689 on a #39A to Butt Lane. We continude onto Shelton Boulevard and we turned left onto the Etruria Valley link road and into the retail park. We parked up at the retail park and we saw blue minibus LX75 EKV.

We went to do Matthews weekly shop and when we finsihed we put the shopping in the car. We joined the Southbound A500. We ran through Stoke to Sideway. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we came off by the BET365 statdium and headed Southwards down Stanley Matthews Way. We passed D&G Bus 23 on a #24 to Hanley. We turned left into Blurton and we got back around 14:00. When we got back Matthew had some Vienneta and a can of Dr Pepper. Matthew chilled out on his computer and wrote some of the Blog. Around 16:00 we got ready to return to the residential unit. We got in the car and we set off through Burton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive where we saw First Potteries 67174 on a #22 to Newcastle. We turned left onto Church Street and left onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Steeet. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we saw City Centre Central BF60 WCP. We turned left onto Masterson Street and we turned right onto Watkin Street and we continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room and we put all his shopping in his cupboard or in the kitchen. Matthew chilled out on his computer and watched buses out of the window. Matthew chilled out in his room and we saw grey minibus SG73 YDV. For tea Matthew had pasta and tuna followed by a Bakewell tart. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road. We crossed over the railway line and we walked down to the entrance of the park. Once we had finished in the park we walked back along Grove Road. We crossed over the Whieldon Road and we saw it was Travel Express YJ69 EHG. We got on the bus and we set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto City Road and we ran up onto King Street and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton. The bus stopped on Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Sutherland Road and we stopped at the pub. Matthew had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we returned to Fenton in Travel Express YJ69 EHG. We set off onto along Sutherland Road and left onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Market Street and left onto The Strand and we ran under the railway line onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Trip to Grimsby / Newcastle 27-04-2026

Today we were returning from our short break in Lincolnshire. Matthew woke up around 08:00 and had his medication. He got up just after 09:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We packed up our things and we left the caravan around 10:00. We got in the car and we set off out of the camp site onto Anthony's Bank Road. We ran forwards onto the A1098 and we turned right onto Central Promenade. We were going to stop to buy some candy floss, but the shop was shut so we turned left onto Sea Road and right onto the A1098. We turned left just after the pier and we followed the A1098 to the edge of town. We veered right onto the A180 and we headed towards Grimsby. We stopped to put some ptrol in the car before continuing along the A1098. On the edge of town we turned left onto Freeman Street and we park on the short stay parking at the side of the road. We headed into the YMCA for an early lunch. Matthew had an English Brekfast washed down with a can of Coke. Whilst we ate we watched the buses go past. Highlight of the bus included Stagecoach East Midlands 19393 on a #3 to Cleethorpes. When we had finished eating Matthew went to the toilet before we went to the shop across the road. On the way to the shop we saw Stagecoach East Midlands 21272 on a #9 to Old Clee.

We returned to the car. We set off along Freeman Street and we turned right into Albert Street West and we turned right onto Railway Street. We turned right onto Church Street and left onto Freeman Street. We turned left onto the A180 and we ran out of town. A few miles later we ran forwards onto the M180. We ran West towards Stainforth and we joined the Southbound M18. We ran to the South of Doncaster and we joined the Southbound M1. We stopped for a brief break at Woodall Services. We got out of the car and we saw grey minibus VW15 ACE parked up.

We walked into the building and Matthew went to the toilet. We got back into the car and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We rejoined the Southbound M1. We ran through the roadwork for several miles. On the M1 we saw an unidentifled Johnson coach. We came off the M1 and junction and we headed Westwards along the A50. As we travelled along the A50 we saw an unidentifled Marshalls Coaches coach. We continued Westwards along the A50 and ran Westwards towards Uttoxeter and Blythe Bridge. We continued past Longton and we came off the A50 at Heron Cross. We turned right onto Blurton Road and left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Whieldon Road. We stopped at uncle Dave's and Matthew used the toilet and updates uncle Dave's calendar with the details of the weekend. We said goodbye and we set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton. turned right onto Church Road and we turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 14:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer. Matthew chilled out on his computer. Matthew had Iron brew washed down with a can of Shandy. We wrote some Blog and afterwards Matthew returned to the residential unit. We turned left onto Masterson Street and we saw Stafford & District Community Link LA72 DDU. We turned right onto Watkin Street and we continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room and we put all his shopping in his cupboard or in the kitchen. Matthew chilled out on his computer and watched buses out of the window. Matthew chilled out in his room and we saw Shelton Care Group FP75 DZB outside. For tea Matthew had pizza and chips followed by a Toffee sponge pudding and custard. Washed it down with a can of Cherry Coke. Matthew chilled in hos room for a while before we went out. Later on we went downstairs and we saw it was Shelton Care Group NX13 XDJ. We got on the bus and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street. and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill onto the A52 and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 and we ran into Stoke and on the one way system. We followed the road onto Lonsdale Street and right onto Fleming Street. We turned right onto Campbell Place and we followed the road around back onto Church Street. We ran up the hill into Hartshill and edge the edge of Newcastle we ran onto George Street. We went forwards onto the ring road and we crossed the roundabout onto Ironmarket. We parked up and and we went to the pub. For dessert he had chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. When we had finished we set off along Ironmarket to the High Street. We turned left onto Hassell Street and we walked past the bus station. We walked onto the ring road and past the new council building and into the park. After we had finished in the park we returned to the minibus. We returned to Fenton in Shelton Care Group NX13 XDJ. We got on the bus and we set off onto the roundabout and we turned right onto barracks Road. We joined the Southbound A34 and we ran down to Trent Vale. We turned left onto Harpfields Road and we went forwards onto Keelings Drive. We turned left onto London Road and we ran through Boothen into Stoke. We ran around the one-way system and onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and under the railway line into Fenton. We ran up City Road and we turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
