Trip to Bentilee / Hanley 25-04-2022

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Belper he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Belper and we saw Stanton's of Stoke DRZ 404. After tea Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping and we went downstairs and we set off. We walked onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto Manor Street and left onto City Road. We ran past the site of the new Burger King and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. In the back of the First garage we saw relatively new arrival First Potteries 33565. We continued along Dividy Road and we stopped near to Wrenbury Crescent. We visited the Respite place and went upstairs to the kitchen Matthew had sausage chips and gravy for dinner followed by a trifle. Matthew went to his room and chilled out. He also went and we saw Intercity BK70 FTU parked up. After the visist we went back to the residential unit. We said goodbye and we went downstairs and got in the taxi. We set off onto Dividy Road and we headed Eastwards to Adderley Green. We turned right at the round about onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill and down into Longton. We joined the one-way systam and we turned right onto Commerce Street. We crossed over the A50 and we joined the Westbound carriageway. We came off at Heron Cross onto Heron Street and we followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road. We turned left onto Christchurch street and left again onto Masterson Street. We turned right onto Watkin Street and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses before going out later on. We saw Jayjays Travel SF64 URS.

we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture First Potteries 67155 on a #21 to Trentham.

Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street and onto Tontine Street. After having his haircut we continued up to KFC. Matthew had a fillet tower burger meal with fries and a cup of Coke. After eating his tea Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards we set off down Tontine Street and forwards onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for the next bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. He also ate the a bottle of Coke and a toffee Crisp. Later on Matthew had a bath and had toast for supper. Matthew went on his computer until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus and to visit his old respite place. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We went downstairs and we got in a car. We set off onto Temple Street and right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and onto the A52 before crossing under the railway line. We turned right onto the Northbound A500 and we ran up 2 junctions to the A53. We turned left onto Eruria Road and we ran up to Newcastle. After going around the one way system onto the jubilee roundabout we ran along the Ryecroft to the A34. We ran North up to Chesterton and we turned left onto the B5500. We ran through Bignall End into Audley and we parked up in the car park. We went into the gardens and we walked onto Church Street. We ordered sausages and chips gravy and then we walked back along Church Street and onto and to the climbing centre. Matthew had his sausage chips and gravy washed down with a bottle of Cherry Coke. Once Matthew had finished his dinner we set off on a long walked up the B5500. Almost as soon as we got to the stop we saw First Potteries 63112 on a #4 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down. We set off down Eastwards along the B5500 through Bignall End and then we turned right onto Megacre and we ran around Wood Lane. We returned to the B5500 along Megacre and we continued Eastwards into Crackley. We turned left onto Cedar Road and then we turned left onto Holly Road. we ran through the estate onto Crackley bank and we ran down into Chesterton. We ran through Chesterton along the B5500 and we turned left onto London Road. Part way along we turned right onto Holditch Road and we ran through the industrial estate. We re joined the A34 and we ran south towards Newcastle. By the old bus depot we turned left onto Liverpool Road and then left onto the A52. At the Jubilee roundabout we turned right onto barracks road and then we entered Newcastle bus station. The bus set off out of the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 63112 before it continued towards Hanley.

We waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 161 on a #9 to Biddulph.

A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63115 on a #99 to Chell Heath.

Matthew shared a Cadbury's Snack Bar and had a bottle of Cherryade. A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 110 on a #33 to Westlands.

Matthew visited the toilet and we saw First Potteries 69162 on a #4 to Audley.

A short time later we saw D&G Bus 21 on a #9 to Biddulph.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and we ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the the grounds. We turned right onto Hilton Road. At the roundabout we went left onto Newcastle lane and we ran up the hill into the centre of Penkhull. We turned left onto St Thomas Place and forwards onto Princes Street. We past the old school. on the left old North Staffs Royal Infirmary. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran down into Stoke. We passed through Church Street and we crossed over the A500. after running under the railway line we followed the A52 around to the left running parallel to the railway line. We then turned left onto to station Road. railway station and due to roadworks we ran to the end of Station Road and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road and we ran up the hill through Shelton. We continued onto Cleveland Road and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we continued along Bethesda Street before turning right onto John Street. We ran up the hill into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once in the bus station Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we left the bus station and we crossed Lichfield Street. We went outside the bus station to get a taxi back towards Fenton. We got in a City Cabs taxi and we set off along onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the A52 and onto Victoria Road. we turned onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the Queen Elizabeth II Court and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs. Matthew returned to his room to chill out and drink his bottle of Coke. Later on Matthew went downstairs and out in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned rigt onto City Road and we ran past KFC and onto King Street. We continued into Foley and under the railway line into Longton. We ran forwards onto Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill and down the other side into Adderley Green. We turned left on to the B5272 and past Adderley Green bus garage. We continued along Dividy Road and we stopped near to Wrenbury Crescent. We visited the Respite place and went upstairs to the kitchen Matthew had sausage chips and gravy for tea followed by a trifle. Matthew went to his room and chilled out.
