Trip to Apedale / Newcastle 12-08-2016

Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We set off onto the A5035 and we ran through Dresden. We continued up to Longton and crossed over the A50. We joined Chadwick Street and we went past the Gladstone Pottery Museum. We crossed over Uttoxeter road and onto Bridgewood street. We turned left onto Forrister and then right onto Anchor Road. We ran to the top of the hill and into Adderley Green. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran into Bentilee where we saw white minibus H87 JHR. We went to pick up another service user and then we then set off onto Dividy Road and we ran down to Bucknall. We followed the road around to the left and at Joiners Square we went left onto Victoria Road. We went up the hill to the top of the road and then we turned right onto the City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew went out to Apedale. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. we got on and the bus and we went along Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. At the bottom of the road we joined the A52 and we ran into Stoke and onto the Northbound A500. We ran North to Shelton New Road and then we entered Newcastle via George Street where we saw First Potteries 63096 on a #2 to Hanley. We ran around Newcastle on the A52 and we went North up the A34 past the old First Potteries bus garage. At London Road we went West up to the roundabout where we continued West on Loomer Road. We followed this around to the Apedale Heritage Centre. Matthew went to the toilet and then went for a walk around and had a drink of Coke. We then got back on the minibus and went to Sneyd Green to go to MacDonald. We set off onto Loomer Road and we ran back to the A34 via Wolstanton Road. We ran North to Talke and then we took the Southbound A500. We came off the A500 at Etruria and we went East on the A53. At Cobridge we saw First Potteries 67602 on a #3 to Crewe. We continued along the A53 under the A5272 and to the Norton Heights retail park. At MacDoanlds Matthew went to the toilet and then had a burger and fries washed down with a Coke. Once Matthew had finished eating we got back on the minibus for the journey to the pub. We continued North on the A53 and we turned right onto Newford Crescent. We followed the road around and we went to Milton Crossroad. We turned right and went South down the A5009 to Bucknall where we took Bucknall New Road where we saw Scraggs 9685 VT on a #4 to Eaton Park. We ran up to the ring road at Hanley and we turned left. We ran around to Lichfield street and we went towards Joiners Square and to the pub. In the pub Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings include Stanton's of Stoke minibus RUI 2486 and First Potteries 63171 on a #6 to Weston Coyney. When it was time to go we got on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU for the trip to Fenton. The bus set off down Palmerston Road and we saw Scraggs 1655 VT. We turned right onto the A52 and at Joiners Square we turned left onto Victoria Road. At the top we turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Glebedale Road. For the journey back Home we had Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road where we saw D&G Bus 100 on the #31 to Cheadle. We turned right onto the A50 link road and we joined the Westbound A50. We came off at Heron Cross and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran gthriugh Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and Matthew got home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of dandelion & burdock whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:56 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. We had seen the turn earlier in the day and it was booked to be dud First Potteries 67641. A few minutes later we saw dud First Potteries 67641 turn the corner as expected.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road. On the opposite side of the road was dud First Potteries 67632 on a #22 to Longton. As we set off we had a phone call from mum to say there was a change of plan. The car was ready to pick up from the garage and we were going to meet at Grandma's near Newcastle. We set off down the rod and we turned right onto the A5035. We ran over the railway line into Trentham and we passed the Trentham Hotel where we saw Free Spirits MK52 PXH parked up. We turned right onto New Inn Lane and we ran u the hill into Hanford. We turned right into Wilson Road and then left into Church Lane where we saw A2B Airports minibus WF11 MOA. We an down to the A34 and we saw First Potteries 41520 on a #21A to Hanley. We ran under the A500 and inti Trent Vale and we turned right int Harpfields Road, where we passed First Potteries 53830 on the final #22 turn to Longton. As we ran through the hospital we saw First Potteries 32056 on a #25 to hanley and D&G Bus 157 on a #9 to Clayton. We turned right onto the A34 and we saw an unidentified Leons Coaches coach ahead of us. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67641 before it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked up to Grandma's house, and within a few minutes mum appeared with a freshly repaired car. We said goodbye to Grandma and we ran down onto the A34. We went Southwards for a mile or so into Trent Vale and we parked up at the pub. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 65040 on a Stafford Bound #101 service, and ABC Supreme N806 CRJ on a Northbound shuttle. Mum realised she had left some stuff at Grandma's, so we had to go and pick up uncle Dave via Grandma's and the petrol station as we were low on fuel. We ran North to Tesco in Trent Vale and we filled u with Diesel. As we re-joined the A34 we saw ABC Supreme N806 CRJ at the retail park opposite and Keele SU minibus PN57 UZX. We North up to Grandma's and then we returned back South. We joined the Northbound A500 and at Sideway we went East on the A50 into Heron Cross. We dropped down into Fenton and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked him up we ran back up to Heron Cross and over the A50. We ran into Blurton and right into Church Road and right again onto Beaconsfield Drive. We saw First Potteries 53830 on the #22 to Longton. We got home around 19:15. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted things out. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We set off through Blurton and onto Finstock Avenue. After a brief stop in Ingestre Square we went to the chemist before continuing up Finstock Avenue of Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and then we ran down through Blurton along Blurton Road and we joined the A50. We came off at the link Road and we ran up the hill to City Road. We ran down City Road and we turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent his time baking. Matthew made some jam tarts and then spent some time on the computer. For dinner we went to MacDonalds. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to MacDonalds. In Macdonalds Matthew used the toilet and then had a burger and fries with a cup of Coke. When it was time to go they returned to Fenton in Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We got back on the minibus and we ran up Victoria Road and then sharp left onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the afternoon Matthew was going to the pub. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill under the railway line onto the A52. We ran over the A500 and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran up to Shelton and we joined Shelton New Road we stopped at the other day centre. After a brief stop we went down Cemetery Road and left onto Caledonia Road. We turned left onto Stoke Road and we ran up through Snow Hill and we turned right into College Road. We turned left into Regent Road and we saw Routemaster Buses PL05 PLN on the #79 to Nantwich. We turned right onto Ogden Road and then right onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. In the pub Matthew went to the toilet and then had a drink of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included Stanton's of Stoke WA08 JVX & Stanley Head HK15 OSO. Afterwards We got in a car and we went down Palmerston Road onto the A52 and we turned right. At Joiners Square we turned left onto Victoria Road. At the top we turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Glebedale Road. After wards we went back to home on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we ran down to Joiners square. We continued up Lichfield Street and we saw Roseville minibus EJ61 VGZ at the Jet petrol station. We joined Regent Road and we ran down through Shelton along Cauldon Road where we saw First Potteries 32057 on a #25 service. We went past Stoke station and we joined the A52 which we did towards Stoke. we joined the Southbound A500 and we ran down to Hanford. We came off the A500 and onto the A34. We ran to Trentham Gardens and we went onto the A5035. We turned left into New Inn Lane and we dropped of another service user before returning onto the A5035. We ran over the railway line into Blurton and we got home around 15:00 and Matthew took another picture of Shelton care Group DV10 JCU.

Matthew had toast and a drink of Barr Bubblegum whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. We had seen the turn earlier in the day and it was booked to be dud First Potteries 67604. Whilst we waited we saw City cabs LL09 SSV.

A few minutes later the bus turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67604.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before sitting down towards the back of the bus. There were a few more passenger on this service than usual... It may have something to do with the end of the school term. We joined the Westbound A5035 and we passed First Potteries 67641 on a #22 to Longton. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we climbed the bill into Hanford. We turned right into Wilson Road. We turned left Church Lane and we ran down the hill and joined the A34. We joined the A34 and we crossed under the A500 into Trent Vale and as we turned right into Harpfields Road. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67604 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We saw First Potteries 67603 on the final #22 turn to Longton and then we walked onto the A34. Mum had phoned to ay she would be a little bit late, so had some extra time today. We sat outside the pub whilet we waited for her to appear. We saw Avery Healthcare minibus BX64 OHF.

When mum arrived we went into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 65042 on a Stafford Bound #101 service, and ABC Supreme P881 RND on a Northbound shuttle. When it was time to go we got in the car to go home. We went South down the A34. Turned left onto the A500 and we ran North up to Sideway. We turned right onto the A50 and we continued to Heron Cross dropping down into Fenton to pick uncle Dave up. Once we had picked him up we ran back up to Heron Cross and over the A50. We ran into Blurton and right into Church Road and right again onto Beaconsfield Drive. We saw First Potteries 53122 on the #22 to Longton. We got home around 18:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted things out. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had crumpets and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We got on the bus and it set off onto the A5035. We turned right and crossed the railway line into Trentham. We went right into New Inn Lane and we picked up another service user before returning on to New Inn Lane. We rejoined the A5035 and we ran over the railway into Blurton before turning left into Church Road. We ran down through Blurton along Blurton Road and we crossed the A50 and into Heron Cross. We went straight onto Heron Street and over the railway line into Fenton. We headed left onto Christchurch Street and reached our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time in the sensory room and using the computer. For dinner Matthew had MacDonalds... A burger, fries and a cup of Coke. After dinner we went outside to get on the bus to the pub. Today it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto City Road and we saw Copeland's Tours white coach MIB 279. We turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went straight on to Lichfield Street and to our destination. In the pub matthew went to the toilet and than had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63177 on a #6A to Hanley.

Matthew listened to the Jukebox with music by the Bee Gees, The Beautiful South, Eminem, Dido and the Eagles. When it was time to go we got back aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Palmerston Street and right onto the A52. At Joiners Square roundabout we went straight along the A52. By the railway station we veered left along the A52 towards Fenton. At City Road we turned right under the railway and then left joining the Southbound A500. As we went down the A500 we saw Excelsior coach 630. At Trent Vale we came off the A500 and we turned left onto the A34. We traveled along the A34 to Trentham Gardens and then we turned right onto the A5035. At New Inn Lane we turned left and we dropped off another service user before we rejoined New Inn Lane and then the A5035. We crossed the railway line into Blurton and we passed First Potteries 67631 which was going to be the bus that we caught later. Matthew got home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. I had seen two of the #22 turns earlier in the day and First Potteries 67631 was booked to be our bus. Bang on time dud First Potteries 67631 came around the corner on the #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the A5035 turning right towards Trentham. we crossed the railway line and we passed dud First Potteries 67640 on the #22 to Longton. We carried on through Trentham and we turned right onto New Inn Lane as we passed pacific Drive we passed First Potteries 41494 on a #21 to the Trentham Hotel. We passed the Man in Space and we ran up to Hanford. As the rear of the bus was now empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67631.

We turned right into Wilson Road and then left onto Church Lane. At the bottom of the hill we joined the A34 and we saw First Potteries 53123 on a #21A to Hanley and 41493 on a #21A to Hanley running together. As we waited to get onto Hanford roundabout we were passed by Leons coaches 205. We crossed under the A500 into Trent Vale and we passed First Potteries 65035 on a #101 to Stafford. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew then took another picture of First Potteries 67631 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we texted mum to say we had got off the bus. We walked to the pub and we sat and waited for her. Whilst we waited we saw Stanton's of stoke 5658 RU going North up the A34 and we also saw required First Potteries 67633 on a #22 to Longton.

We saw mum drive past in the car and we went into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included required First Potteries 65034 on a Staford Bound #101 service as well as ABC Supreme N806 CRJ on a South bound shuttle. When it was time to go we got in the car to go and pick up uncle Dave. We went South down the A34 and we turned left onto the A500. At Sideway we went East where we saw an unidentified NCB Motors coach going the other way and D&G 170 on a #14 service. We ran up to Heron Cross and we dropped down into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. As we traveled through Blurton we saw City Cabs EF05 OLX, School's Out YG58 WFS and Autocabs minibus SJ07 LWT. We turned right into Beaconsfield Drive and we saw white Iveco minibus NX03 BFP currently off road and SORN'd. and we got home just after 18:20. Matthew then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 00:30... Mark

We got on the bus and we set off onto the A5035. We went right into Trentham and we saw Stanton's of Stoke RX65 YPM. We then turned right into New Inn Lane. After picking up another service user in Trentham we returned onto the A5035 and we returned towards Blurton. In the lay by we saw Bennett's Solo W246 PAU. We turned left into Church Road and then left onto Blurton Road. We traveled through Blurton and into heron Cross and over the A50. At the light we went straight across and onto Heron Street. We followed the road around over Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time on the computer and time in the sensory room. For Dinner Matthew had a burger and fries with Coke from MacDonalds. After dinner we went to the pub in Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and it set off onto Glebedale Road. We crossed City Road and onto Fountain Street before following the road to the left into William Street. At the end we turned right into Manor Street. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout and went straight across onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sighting included First Potteries 63177 on a #6 to Hanley.

Matthew listened to music on the Jukebox which included Arctic Monkeys, Vengaboys and Whitney Houston. When it was time to go Matthew got on board Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Palmerston Street and right onto the A52. At Joiners Square roundabout we went straight across continuing along the A52. We went onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system back around to Church Street where we joined the Southbound A500. On the A500 we saw an unidentified Marchants coach. We went East on the A50 and then we crossed the A50 onto Stanley Matthews Way. At the end of Stanley Matthews Way we turned left onto the A5035. Matthew beat me home again and so they did a lap around the block and I passed them going the other way on Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 14:30. Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. I had seen all the #22 turns earlier in the day and First Potteries 67602 was booked to be our bus. We waited at the bus stop and our bus turned up bang on time. It turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67602.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before sitting down towards the back of the bus. It was quite well filled today. set off onto the A5035 and we headed over the railway line into Trentham. We passed First Potteries 67636 going the other way on the #22 to Longton. We turned right onto New Inn Lane and before we got to the Man in Space we passed First Potteries 41512 on a #21 to the Trentham Hotel. We carried on up to Hanford and we turned right into Wilson Road. We turned left into Church lane and we ran down to the A34. After crossing under the A500 into Trent Vale we saw First Potteries 42893 on a #21A to Trentham Gardens emerging from London Road. We continued to Harpfield Road and as we turned we saw First Potteries 65039 on a #101 to Stafford. We turned into the Road and we passed City Cabs YE08 PYJ as we got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67602 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we walked to the pub. We got there before mum so we waited outside and took a few bus pictures. A few minutes later we saw the third #22 turn emerge from out of Harpfields Road. It was dud First Potteries 67603.

A minute or so later we saw Intercity taxi minibus BJ07 HXD going Southwards.

Mum turned up so we went into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included required First Potteries 65038 on a Staford Bound #101 service as well as Leons Coaches minibus 219 going North and ABC Supreme N806 CRJ on a South bound shuttle. When it was time to go we got in the car to go and pick up uncle Dave. We went South down the A34 and we turned left onto the A500. At Sideway we went East up to Heron Cross and we dropped down into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. As we traveled through Blurton we saw School's Out YG58 WFS and Autocabs minibus SJ07 LWT. We turned right into Beaconsfield Drive and we got home just after 18:20. As it was a dry evening Matthew spent some time 'The man cave' and helped to do some digging in the garden. We ran back down the hill towards Longton and we turned right into the side Street to avoid Longton town centre. We joined onto King Street and we ran down to Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time on the computer and also backed a carrot cake. For dinner Matthew a MacDonalds burger and a drink of Coke. In the afternoon we went to the pub. For the journey we got back onto Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. The bus set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto the A52 and towards the railway station. We carried on past the end of Station Road and to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned left onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63178 which was on a #6 to Hanley.

Matthew listened to music on the Jukebox with song from Dr Hook, Billy Ocean and Abba. When it was time to go they got back on board Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Palmerston Street and right onto the A52. At thr Joiners Square roundabout we turned left onto Victoria Road. At the top we turned sharp right onto City Road and then left on Glebedale Street. After a quick stop we carried on onto Glebedale Road and forwards onto Station Bridge Road. We went across Heron Cross lights and over the A50 into Blurton. At the bottom of the hill we saw Carl's Minibuses MV14 OOF parked up by the chip shop. We carried on up Blurton Road and forwards onto Church Street. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive. Matthew got home a little early and and I was a little bit late, so the took him for a quick spin around. We drove onto the A5035 and right into Barlaston Road. We went around the Newstead estate and we saw Stoke-on-Trent city council wefare bus FJ05 EKO, Stanton's of Stoke CN09 CJE and Newstead Primary minibus MJ61 XFG. We returned back onto Balaston Road and across the A5035 onto Church Road. We turned left onto Beaconsfield Drive and Matthew got home around 14:45. Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. I had seen all the #22 turns earlier in the day and First Potteries 67635 was booked to be our bus. Near to the bus stop was Cauldwell Construction minibus DV12 JVY.

We waited at the bus stop and our bus turned up bang on time. It turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67635.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the road and right onto the A5035. We traveled over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and near to the Man In Space we nearly caught up with First Potteries 41493 on a #21A to Hanley. We went up the hill and we turned right into Wilson Road. At the ens we turned left onto Church Lane and we ran down to the A34. As we joined the A34 we saw City Cabs GN08 DCZ & blue minibus DA59 UOO. We crossed ubder the A500 into Trent Vale and we passed First Potteries 65036 on a #101 to Stafford. We passed the end of London Road and we saw Scraggs 1655 VT & required First Potteries 67634 running out of service before we turned into Harpfields Road where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67635 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we saw mum go past going towards the pub. At the pub Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included required First Potteries 65035 on a Hanley Bound #101 service as well as Stanton's of Stoke 5658 RU going North and ABC Supreme N806 CRJ on a South bound shuttle. When it was time to go we got in the car to go and pick up uncle Dave. We went South down the A34 and we turned left onto the A500. As we travelled North up the A500 we passed Taw & Torridge of Devon UK13 TAM & TT07 TAM. At Sideway we came off the A500 as the road was running slow and we went onto Campbell Road towards Stoke where we passed D&G 174 on the #14 to Stafford. We went into Stoke and around the one way system where we saw First Potteries 32078 on a #25 to Hanley. We crossed the A500 and we went up into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. After we had picked up uncle Dave we came back up to Heron Cross and then right onto Blurton Road. As we traveled through Blurton we saw City Cabs EF05 OLX at the petrol station. We turned right into Beaconsfield Drive and we got home just after 18:15. Matthew chilled out on the sofa on the computer most of the evening. Today Matthew was going to the pub for tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had a giant crumpet and blackcurrant juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

The bus set off onto the A5035 and we we over the railway onto Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and right again into Pacific Drive. After picking up another service user we returned onto New Inn Lane and then onto the A5035. We crossed back into Blurton and we turned left onto Church Road. At the roundabout we continues onto Blurton road. At heron we went East on the A50 and onto the A50 Link Road. We turned left onto City Road and left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time in the sensory room and also used the computers. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy from the chip shop. In the afternoon they were going out to the pub. Transport for the journey out was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off out of Glebdale Road and right onto City Road. We turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and down to the roundabout. At Joiners Square we carried on straight onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and then had a drink of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included Stoke-on-Trent city council welfare minibus FJ05 EKN which was going towards Hanley.

At the top of Victoria Road we turned sharp Right onto City Road. We turned left into Glebedale Road and to the day centre. After a brief stop we returned onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. At the A50 Link road we turned right and onto the Westbound A50 to Heron Cross. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we ran forwards onto Church Road and then right onto the A5035. We continued over the railway line into Trentham and we turned right into New Inn Lane. After dropping off another service user in Trebthan we returned onto New Inn Lane and left onto the A5035. We crossed the railway and back into Blurton and we got back around 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. Whilst we waited for the bus we saw dud First Potteries 67638 on the #22 towards Longton.

I had seen the turn earlier in the day and it was booked to be dud First Potteries 67639. It turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67639.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off and we turned right onto the A5035. The bus in front of us was empty so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67639.

We crossed the railway line and we entered Trentham where we passed silver minibus DS08 KGF. We turned right onto New Inn Lane and we stopped outside the Man in Space for a short while. Whilst there we saw First Potteries 53041 on a #21 to the Trentham Hotel. We climbed the hill and we entered Hanford and we saw Hanford Court Care minibus WR11 ENU outside the new sheltered housing block on the site of the old Bulls Head pub. We traveled along Wilson Road and down Church Lane before we joined the A34. We crossed under the A500 and into Trent Vale where passed CMD's taxi KN63 ZYD. We turned right onto Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67639 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we headed towards the pub. As we were walking along we turned to see a coach in the distance behind us. We found a clear stretch of road and we waited for it to come towards us. As it got closer we saw that it was Dunwood's YN64 AOJ.

As we got to the pub, mum was pulling into the car park. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included Raspberry liveried Scania 65033 on the #101 service, Sentinel Scania 65040 on a Hanley bound #101 service, MT Travel minibus HK58 ECV going Southwards & ABC Supreme N806 CRJ. When it was time to go we got in the car to go and pick up uncle Dave. We went South down the A500 and we turned left onto the A500. As we traveled North we saw National Express liveried coach FJ11 GKD, also going North on a #540 service. We came off the A500 and we ran down towards Campbell Road and we rejoined the A500 trying to get around the slow traffic. We went East on the A50 up to Heron Cross and we turned left into Fenton. In Fenton we saw Roseville taxi minibus WF11 WHC. After picking up uncle Dave we headed back to Heron Cross. AS we crossed over the A50 we saw First Potteries 41522 on a #23 to Hanley diverted via the A50 link Road. We went forwards into Blurton and we saw First Potteries 53058 on a Newstead bound #23 service. Parked up at Blurton Garage was City Cabs EF05 OLX. We climbed the hill and we went forwards onto Church Road before turning right into Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 18:00. Later on Matthew ate a slice of toffee cheesecake and then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

At the roundabout we continues onto Blurton road. At heron we went East on the A50 and onto the A50 Link Road. We turned left onto City Road and left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. We then went out to Festival Park to go bowling. bus for the trip out was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and left onto City Road. At the bottom of the hill before we got to the railway we turned right onto the A52. We continue straight towards Joiners Square past the University and we turned left onto Cauldon Road. We turned right onto Boughey Road and right onto Ridgeway Road. We went around Hanley park and onto Hardings Road. We went left onto Cleveland Road and right onto College Road. We turned right onto Snow Hill and left onto the ring road before visiting Tesco petrol station. After filling up we continued around the ring road and onto Etruria Road. After crossing under the A53 we turned right in Festival Park and we park up outside the bowling alley. Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink before playing some bowling. After they had finished the got back on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We left the car park and we went straight across the roundabout and to Macdonald. Matthew had a beefburger and fries with a drink of Coke. When we had finished eating we got back on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. The bus set off though Festival Park and onto the waterloo Road. In Burslem we saw First Potteries 66840 on a #3 to Hanley. We turned left Newcastle Street and we ran down through Longport where we saw CG Travel LDV minibus DX07 OJT. We turned left onto the A500 and running down to the A53 we headed back to Festival Park to meet up with Shelton Care Group BU05 EWX to pick up another service user. We then continued back to Fenton. We went under the A53 and onto Etruria Road We turned right onto the ring Road and we ran around to Lichfield Street and we saw Routemaster Buses X616 JCS on the #79 to Nantwich. At Joiners Square we went across the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We went to the top of Victoria Road and we turned sharp right onto City Road before going left onto Glebedale Road. After a quick stop we transferred on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU for the trip to the pub. The bus set off onto Glebedale Road and sharp left onto Victoria Road. As we travelled down we saw KH Travel YD65 PGU parked up a side street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. We set off onto Lichfield Street and at the Joiners Square we turned right onto the A52. We ran down towards the railway and we turned right onto Station Road. At the end of Station Road we turned left onto Stoke Road and we crossed the A500 and ran into Stoke. We went around the one way system and onto London Road. At City Cabs we saw minibus YN02 UYV parked up. We carried onto down to Trent Vale and we turned left onto the A34. After crossing under the A500 we turned left up Church Lane and into Hanford. We ran down New Inn Lane and we dropped off a service user in Trentham before carrying on down to the A5035. We turned left and headed down to Blurton. Matthew got home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of dandelion & Burdock whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We continued into Trentham and we turned into New Inn Lane and we were followed First Potteries 53122 on the #21A to Hanley. At the top of New Inn Lane as we entered Hanford we saw First Potteries 41514. We went along Wilson Road and we turned left into Church Lane. We joined the A34 and we went under the A500 into Trent Vale. We turned right onto Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus.
