Trip to Newcastle / Hartshill 01-12-2025

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst in the room we went out on the bus to Newcastle. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left into Watkin Street and we turned left into Marlborough Street. We turned left into Watkin Street and we turned left into Marlborough Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. We used his computer and watched buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Stoke. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67176 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus we set off up Castle Walk and we stopped Bristish Heart Foundation Home and Fashion and Matthew bought some boots. We walked down Castle walk and stopped at Cancer Research. We continued up Castle Walk and up onto Ironmarket. We returned to the cafe and Matthew had a a piece of bakewell tart washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we stopped at PDSA Charity Shop. We continued down High Street and we went in the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity shop. We continued up to High Street and we stopped at Cash Converters. We saw white minibus YC55 AKY.

We walked up High Street and we turned left onto Hassell Street and we veered left onto Stubbs Street and we went down to the bottom end of the bus station and we saw D&G Bus 32 on a #85 to Nantwich.

Once off the bus we saw First Potteries 63146 on a #39 to Kidsgrove.

A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63178 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hartshill before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. Once off the bus we headed up the hill back towards Fenton. After a short while we saw First Potteries 35685 on a #25 to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 63362 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop in Church Street we continued into Fenton up the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We ran up City Road and we got up and got off the bus by the the swimming baths turn. We crossed over City Road and we walked. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew took a can of Irn Bru. Later on we went out. We went downstairs and we got into a car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road and we ran forwards onto Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A52. We turned right onto Austin Street and right onto Stuart Street and to the community centre. We got out of the taxi and we saw Shelton Care Group SD71 WJL parked up. Matthew went to the toilet and then spent some time in the community centre. For dinner Matthew had some ham sandwiches and a selection of other party foods. He also had a glass of Coke. for after Matthew had a jammie wagon wheel, a jam tart and a Bakewell tart. When it was time to go we went outside to wait for the taxi. We saw Allinson Travel YP69 VRN. We returned to the residential unit in an Intercity taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto Stuart Street. We turned left onto Austin Street and left onto the A52. We headed towards the roundabout at Joiners Square. We continued past Stoke station and alongside the railway line. We turned left onto City Road and right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went uspatirs and back into the room. He chilled out in his room using his computer and watching buses out of the window. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Roseville MT67 NUF. Later on we went to Hanley. We went downstairs and onto City Road. We waited for a bus to Hanley. After a short while we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus. As we waited to cross the road we saw First Potteries 67150 on a #39 to Kidsgrove. Matthew went to the toilet. We waited for a bus to Kidsgrove. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67143 on a #7 to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Kidsgrove. The bus was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67143 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we crossed Broad street onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and we stopped on Stafford Street to to pick up more passengers before we left town along Quadrant Road. We crossed over the ring road and we headed out of town towards Sneyd Green along Town Road and we continued to Smallthorne roundabouts and we continued forwards onto High Lane. At the end of High Lane the end we turned left onto the A527 and we turned right onto Turnhurst Road and we ran up to Packmoor. We continues into Newchapel and onto the High Street. We turned left onto Pennyfields Roads and at the roundabout we went onto Newchapel Road. We ran through the estate via Galleys bank and we ran into Kidsgrove and the bus terminated on King Street where we got up and got off the bus. We continued along King Street and we went to Kidsgrove Oatcakes. Matthew brought at sausage oatcakes. We continued along King Street and we stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage oatcakes and drink the can of Coke. When we had finished we set off onto King Street and we turned left onto Attwood Street and we turned left onto Liverpool Road and up to the bus stop. A short time later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 63172 on a #103 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Burslem before we sat down. We set off along the A50. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and then forwards through Sandyford past the retail park into Tunstall. We ran down the High Street. We continued down the High Street and we ran past the former Co-operative bank. We turned left onto Williamson Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto Scotia Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once ofthe bus we walked to the little Asda that used to be Netto. We did sme shopping and we bought a cake. when we had finished we paid for our shopping and went outside. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus apparoaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63114 on a #38 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off along the A50 past the the old bus garage before running up the hill into Burslem Town centre. We ran through the light onto Waterloo Road and up the hill into Cobridge. We ran down the hill towards Hanley and then up into town along Hope Street and Stafford Street. We turned right at the end past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street before entering the bus station where we got up got off the bus. Once we got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 63114 as it continued towards Crewe.

Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards waited for a bus to Fenton. A short time later we saw Stanton's of Stoke AS05 BUZ on a #50 to Lightwood. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 47520 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton. The bus was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 47520 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled out in his room to use his computer and watch buses. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road. We crossed over the railway line and we walked down to the entrance of the park. In the park Matthew walked up to the playground. Once we had finished in the park we walked back along Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room to chill out. Later on Matthew went out to the pub Matthew came downstairs and got in a car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We corossed over City Road onto Manor Street and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down to Joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We stopped at the pub and we parked up. Matthew went into the pub and sang happy birthday :) Matthew had some egg sandwiches and cake. Matthew had a glass of Coke. When we had finished with the party we ser off back to Fenton. We got in the car and we set off Lichfield Street. We turned right onto the bA52 and we ran into Stoke and past the railway station. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill to Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we went back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstiars to his room to chill out. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was returning to Blurton and he was also going to see Grandma. He was also going out on the bus. Mattew woke up at 0800 and had his nedication. Matthew got up at 09:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. In the morning Matthew went out to catch a few buses. We went downstairs and we saw Shelton Care Group WA73 BMO. We set off on foot onto City Road and we crossed over the road and headed along Manor Street. We walked to the end and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We walked down past Aldi and McDonalds to the next bus stop and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63345 on a #6A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road. crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 21 on a #32A to Uttoxeter. We set off out of the bus station onto Lichfield Street and we walked down Stafford Street and we went into the former Wilko's. We continued along Tontine Street and into Parliament Row. We headed towards the shopping centre and we went down into the market. Afterwards we came up into the shopping centre and we went to No 22's and Matthew had a bottle of Coke. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we went usptairs and out of the shopping centre onto Stafford Street and we visited Cash Converters to get some new headphones. We continued along Stafford Street and onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we went to the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with can of Coke. Afterwards we headed back to the bus station to wait for a bus towards Fenton, A short time later we saw it was First Potteries 44511 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and went half way up the bank and got up and got off the bus. We crossed the road and we waited for a bus back towards Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67146 on a #6A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road. crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. We went to the shop in the bus station and Matthew had toffee crisp. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67144 on a #7A to Biddulph. A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. It was Stanton's of Stoke 8701 VT on a #50 to Longton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot down City Road and we cut through back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill in bhis room. Just after 15:00 we came to pick up Matthew. We said goodbye to the staff and mum and we cut through onto City Road. As we got to the road we saw a bus approaching so we ran to the bus stop. We turned and saw it was First Potteries 63346 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road and we saw blue minibus V604 MBL. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we saw Leon's 241. We ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We headed to the bottonm end of the bus station and Matthew got a picture of First Potteries 63346 before it returned on a #11 to Hanley.

We waited for a bus towards Grandma's. There was a bus on layover in Stubbs Street that was going to be going in the that direction. Whilst we waited for the bus to be readied for service we saw Arriva Midlands 3698 on a #64 to Market Drayton. The bus pulled off of Stubbs Street and onto the stand. We saw it was First Potteries 35939 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before we went upstairs and sitting down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 35939 as it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we headed along the A34 and we went up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. When it was time to go we set off just after 18:00 to the pub. We got in the car. We set off and we ran down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale past the Greggs. We continued through Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 35945 on a #101 to Stafford and ABC Supreme YB73 VZV going Northwards. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. Matthew also had a can of Cherry Coke. We wrote the Blog and sent a couple of e-mails. He also had sponge cake and custard. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley.

We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. After stopping briefly outside the railway station we turned right onto College Road and We turned left onto Avenue Road and we turned right onto Snow Hill. We turned left and ran up Broad Street. We turned right onto the ring road and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we got up and got off the bus. We walked down John Street and we saw First Potteries 67141 on a #6 to Coalville.

We crossed over Bethesda Street and went into the museum and Matthew used the toilet. Matthew had a walk around and went to see the natural history section. We stopped on the corner of Bethesda Street and we walked up John Street to the bus station. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63118 on a #4 to Crackley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and then we joined the clockwise ring road. At the end we turned left onto Etruria Road before going under the A53 onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past a new minibus building by the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford where we saw First Potteries 63117 on a #4 to Hanley. We ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station. We got up and we got off the bus. A short time later we saw First Potteries 33829 on a #101 to Stafford. Matthew went to the toilet and we saw D&G Bus 136 on a #85 to Nantwich.

We got on bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. Matthew had an ice cream. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car MJ22 HHV outside there yard. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67145 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We got off the bus and we crossed obver the road to the stop opposite to wait for a #25 to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As soon as it cam into view we knew it was D&G Bus 27 on a #9 to Biddulph. We got on the bus and booked to the railway station before sitting down. The bus set off out of Stoke town centre and across the A500. We crossed under the railway line before turning left onto the A52 and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up to the A52 and we ran alongside the railway line. We passed near to the railway station. As it got closer we saw it was dud First Potteries 35932 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Shelton before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off down Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we we walked down College Road and we went into Hanley Park for a while. We walk northwards through the park and into along The Pkwy. We turned right onto Harding Road and we saw we saw City Centre Central NK15 CXP parked up. We turned right onto Regent Road. We turned right onto Lichfield Street and we turned left onto Hampton Street. We stopped at Mazhar & Kids and we brought some shopping. We returned to Hanley in an Intercity taxi. We set off down Hampton Street. We turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran towards Hanley. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we ran around to the other side of Town We exited the ring road onto Town Road. The bus came in through Quadrant Road and forwards onto Stafford Street. We got out of the taxi When we walked along Stafford Street and we went to Dixy Chicken for tea. Matthew used the facilities and afterwards had chicken and fries washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished Matthew walked along Stafford Street and we turned left onto Lichfield Street and we headed into the bus station and we waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67150 on a #6 to Park Hall. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Suare past the new Lidl. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre. When it was time to go out we went downstairs and onto Temple Street. We turned cut through onto City Road and we headed towards the bus stop. We walked to the stop opposite the flats and we watched the sheltered housing complex. We waited for a bus to Hanley. The bus turned the corner and we saw it was First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road. We went under the railway line and we turned left onto Leek Road. We ran alongside the railway and we ran forwards onto Station Road. After stopping briefly outside the railway station we turned right onto College Road and We turned left onto Avenue Road and we turned right onto Snow Hill. We turned left and ran up Broad Street. We turned right onto the ring road and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we ran up to the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once in the bus station. We waited for a bus to Bentilee and a short time later we saw . A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 524 on layover. A bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67142 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive We got up and got off the bus. Beverley Drive After picking some chips up from the chip shop we walked Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive and we stopped at one of the house and Matthew had a glass of Coke. We continued along Dawlish Drive. We turned left onto Beverley Drive. We waited for a bus towards Hanley at the bus stop. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63360 on a #11B to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus We set off onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We got up and got off the bus. Once off up Dividy Road and we crossed. We waited for a bus to Hanley and a short time later we saw . A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67179 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Dividy Road and we turned left onto the A52 we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew walked into the bus station and went to the toilet. Afterwards we waited for a bus to Sneyd Green. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67174 on a #18 to Leek. We got on the bus and we booked to Sneyd Green before we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto john Street and we ran down the hill to Bethesda Street. We ran past the museum and we ran forwards onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity street and at the top of the hill we turned left onto Stafford Street. We ran forwards onto Quadrant Road and we went across the ring road along Town Road. We ran forwards onto the A5272 and into Sneyd Green. We turned right onto Milton Road and we ran down the hill before turning left onto Berwick Road. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew walked up Berwick Road and we right onto the A53 past Aldi where they are proposing to bulid a new retail park. We walked to the bus stop. We waited for a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus turn around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67174 on a #18 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the A53 and we turned left into Berwick Road. We turned right onto Milton Road and we ran up the hill to the A5272. We turned left and we headed into Hanley. We entered town along Quadrant Road and we ran along Stafford Street. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Stafford Street and we turned left onto Tontine Street and and we went forwards onto Lichfield Street and into the bus station. We waited for a bus to Fenton. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67151.

We set off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street. The road in front of the museum was closed so we turned right onto the the ring road. We turned right onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned left onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned right onto College Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and under the railway line. We ran up City Road. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching and we saw it was First Potteries 63360 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. We turned left onto the A5272 and and we ran through Bentilee and we turned left onto Beverley Drive and due to a diversion we came back down beverley Drive and left onto the A5272 and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got a picture of First Potteries 63360 before it returned towards Hanley on a #11B service.

Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street and onto Tontine Street and onto Tontine Square and we walked back along Tontine Square to the Intu Potteries shopping centre. We had a walk around the shops and afterwards we walked through Tontine Square. After we had finished shopping we walked back down Tontine Street. We walked back down onto Lichfield Street and across the ring road and we saw Elysium Healthcare HT21 NYF. We set off onto Lichfield Street and we crossed Joiners Square. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67149 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bud and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Lichfield Street and we crossed over the roundabout at Joiners Square onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill and at the top we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus we crossed over the road and we went down City Road. We walked throught the car park and down the alley and we crossed over Christchurch Street onto Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out. For tea Matthew had Pasta and Tomato Sauce followed by a Toffee sponge pudding and custard. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was going back to Blurton. He was also going out on the bus and going to visit Grandma. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had his medication. For breakfast Matthew had toast and orange juice. In the morning we went to Hanley in a Lucky Seven taxi.We went downstairs and we got in the taxi and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we crossed City Road on Manor Street. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran across the roundabout at Joiners Square and we stopped at the Emma Bridgewater factory. Matthew went intside and visited the Factory Shop. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we went to the cafe and Matthew had a can of Coke and chocolate cake. When we had finished we set off up Lichfield Street and we crossed the ring road before going to the bus station. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw a bus arrive on stand. We saw it was First Potteries 67147 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle. we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and due to a diversion we came back down beverley Drive and left onto the A5272 and up to Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past the site of the new Burger King. We conrinued down to the flats where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went o nto Smothpool Road and we stopped at the chip shop to pick up dinner. We walked along Smithpool Road and turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs ans Matthew had his dinner. He hda sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. Matthew went to his room to chill out and wait for me to arrive. Whilst waitimg we saw Stanton's of Stoke new minibus VT73 SOS. We turned up around 15:00 and Matthew came downstairs. We cut through onto City Road and walked down to the bus stop by the flats. Whilst we waited for the bus to Newcastle we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

A few miniutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63356 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. Near to the roundabout we saw PO Lloyd BV20 HPP. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road passing Leons 247 going the other way. We turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw 2 buses that were heading in the right direction. We saw First Potteries 35949 on a #25 to Keele. Another bus came on stand and it was First Potteries 33829 on a #25 to Hanley.

The new wer double decker pulled off before we got to it, but the other one was still there. We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 33829 as it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we headed along the A34 and we went up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. When it was time to go we went to the pub and we headed down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale. We continued through Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 67175 on a #101 to Stafford. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham where we saw ABC Supreme YA67 VBD heading Northwards. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. Matthew also had a can of Cherry Coke and a couple of slices of brioche bread. We wrote the Blog and sent a couple of e-mails. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 09:00 and had toast and juice for breakfast. He chilled out in his room and watched buses out of the windown until it was time to go out. Whilst we waited to go out we saw Shelton Care Group YS70 KWG. When it was time to go out we went downstairs and onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for the bus to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We stopped at Jay's Cafe and Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a can of Coke and a Sausage sandwich. Once we had finished we set off back along Campbell Place and we ran forwards onto London Road. We passed Sainsbury's and we turned into Lidl. Matthew did his weekly shop and we returned to Fenton in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along London Road and we turned right onto Chamberlain Avenue. We stopped for a short while and Matthew had a can of Coke and afterwards we returned to Fenton. We got in the car and we set off onto Chamberlain Avenue and we turned left London Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system onto Campbell Place and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We turned right onto Liverpool Street and we veered right onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and we veered left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran to the end before turning left onto City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked up to the roundabout and around the corner onto Victoria Road to wait for the bus to Hanley. Eventually we saw another bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was dud First Potteries 67144 on a #6A to Hanley.

At the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street. We turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and we got up and got off the bus. We walked along Bagnall Street and Adventure Place and down to Bethesda Street. We walked down Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Sun Street and stopped. We walked to a unit and we went to Truninja. Matthew had a session in the play area and returned to walked. We set off along Sun Street and we turned left onto Broad Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Piccadilly and we walked up Stafford Street. We walked through Percy Street and across onto Parliament Row. We stopped at McDonalds and we had tea. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When we had finished we walked along Parliament Row and we walked onto Old Hall Street. We walked up Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63364 on a #11 to Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus turn around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63366 on a #6 to Coalville.

Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we stopped at one of the house and Matthew had a glass of Coke. We continued along Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We visited the BP petrol station where matthew a can of Coke. once we had finished we headed back Victoria Road. We turned left onto Manor Street. We crossed over City Road and we went back to the residential unit. Matthew went to his room to chill out and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window. Matthew spent time in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. Before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Afford rent-a-car BG72 UFA. We went downstairs and we got in a car. We set off onto Temple Street. we turned left onto Christchurch Street whwre we saw First Potteries 67144 on a #23 to Hanley. We turned left onto Baker Street and left into Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road. down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A52 and we ran up to Bucknall. At the lights we continued onto the A5009 and we ran through Abbey Hulton and Milton to Stockon Brook and we joined the Northbound A53 and we ran through Endon and and Longsdon. We continued through Ladderedge and up the hill into Leek town Centre. We turned left onto St Edwards Street and left onto the A523 past the site of the new Tim Hortons. We took the next right turning and parked up. We went in the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew had a mixed grill with beans washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had chocolate fudge cake and custard. When we had finished we saw blue minibus BJ61 YPO. There is a site of the new McDonald's. Ww eot in the car and we set off onto the A523. We turned right onto St Edwards Street and right onto the A53. We ran out of lee town centre and we climbed the hill up towards Ladderegde. We continued through Longsdon and down towards Endon. We continued down through Stockton Brook and we turned left onto the A5009. we ran through Baddeley Green and into Abbey Hulton. We continued under the railway line and into Bucknall. At the light we ran forwards onto the A52 and towards Joiners Square. We turned left onto Victoria Road past Adsa and the B&M. We turned right onto Manor Street and we turned left onto City Road and we turned right Glebedale Road. We turned right Baker Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We ran to the end of the road and we got out. We walked around the corner onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. He also watched buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw AJS Passenger Travel YE09 BXO. We continued up City Road. We walked up to the roundabout and around the corner onto Victoria Road to wait for the bus to Hanley. Whilst waiting we saw white minibus CN55 AYU going towards Hanley. Eventually we saw another bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was dud First Potteries 63363 on a #6 to Hanley.

We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We went into B&M and we brought a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished we went out of the shop. We walked down Stafford Street. We continued forwards onto Tontine Square and we sat down on a bench and Matthew had his sausage roll for dinner washed down bottle of Coke. Once we had finished eating the Donuts we walked up a back alley and we came out on Tontine Street ans forwards onto Lichfield Street. We continued into the bus station. We saw First Potteries 67141 on a #7A to Biddulph. We waited for the next bus back Fenton. Eventually the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 65038 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran towards Hanley. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we ran around to the other side of Town We exited the ring road onto Town Road. We headed out of town towards Birches Head. We joinmed the A5272 and we travelled Northwards through Sneyd Green up to Smallthorne Roundabouts and we continued forwards onto High Lane. At the end of High Lane the end we turned left onto the A527. We turned right onto Turnhurst Road and we ran up to Packmoor. We walked down the road to The pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we got a Lucky Seven taxi to the residential unit. We set off along the Mellor Street and and we continued onto Turnhurst Road. We turned left onto the A527 through Pits Hill and Sandyford past the site of a new Petrol station and Burger King. We crossed over the A50 and we ran down to the A500. We ran Southwards through Longport and Etruria and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We ran up the A52 under the railway line and we ran forwards onto City Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road. We turned left Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark
