Today Matthew was going to Blurton. We was also going to visit Grandma and going to the pub. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had his medication. He had a banana pancake for breakfast. Matthew spent some time looking out of the window looking at buses. We saw Jackfield Infant School FV66 FET. Later on Matthew went out on the bus. We set off onto Temple Street and we walked around the corner onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus at the top of John Street. We walked down John Street and we crossed over Bethesda Street. We went into the museum and Matthew visited the natural history section to look at the stuffed animals. He also went to the space exhibition and had his photo taken in a spacesuit. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we left the museum. Later on Magtthew set off up John Street and onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we visited the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we crossed over the ring Road anonto Lichfield Street and we headed into the bus station. We waied for a bus towards Fenton. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63174 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton we sat down. We set off up set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw recent arrival First Potteries 36250 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran under the railway line. We turned left onto Markets Street and we followed the one-way system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off the bus. We cut through onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out on his room. Around 14:30 we came to pick up Matthew. He got his things ready and he came downstairs. We set off onto Temple Street and we cut through onto City Road. We walked to the bus stop and we waited for bus towards Newcastle. whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63362 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street we saw Travel Express SH70 EVN turn into a side street. We ran forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and we ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw Arriva Midlands 2968 on a #64 to Market Drayton.

A short time later we saw First Potteries 35941 on a #25 to Hanley.

Another vehicle seen was First Potteries 63361 on a #38 to Kidsgrove.

A short time later we saw the bus we wanted to catch. As it came on stand we saw it was First Potteries 35685 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before we went upstairs and sitting down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 35685 as it continued towards Hanley.

We crossed over the A34 and we walked up to the hill towards grandma's. We continued up the hill and into grandma's house. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru. When it was time to go we said goodbye to Grandma and we got in the car. We set off just before 18:00 and we ran down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale past the Greggs. We continued through Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63364 on a #101 to Hanley and D&G Bus 42 on a #22 to Longton. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We wrote the Blog and sent a couple of e-mails. Later on Matthew some Strawberry sweets and a can of Cherry Coke. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the bus to Hanley. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 6009 on a #1 to Park Site.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road and we saw Travel Express SH70 EVN parked up th the depot. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. Once off the bus we set off down John Street and we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We stopped on the corner of Bethesda Street and we walked up Albion Street. We turned onto Stafford Street and we walked up Piccadilly and across Tontine Square and into the market. We sat down and Matthew ate his sausage roll washed down with a can of Coke and a Manchester Tart. Afterwards we went to the floor above into the shopping centre and we went up to the First Floor. We headed upstairs to the toilet and afterwards went out of the shopping centre onto Tontine Square and onto Parliament Row. We stopped at Poundland and we walked along Parliament Row and we walked onto Old Hall Street. We walked up Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus to Longton and a short time later we saw First Potteries 47519 on a #11B to Bentilee. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63357 on a #11 to Newcastle. After a short while we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67180 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. City Road and we continued forwards onto King Street. We passed through Foley. We ran forwards into Longton and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed Market Street and walked up Transport Lane and crossed over The Strand and to the bus stop. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. We went around the corner onto Transport Lane and we got in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along Transport Lane and we turned right onto The Strand. We ran under the railway ine onto King Street and we ran through Foley into Fenton. We ran forwards onto City Road and we turned right into Manor Street where we got out of the taxi. We crossed over City Road and we cut through onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road. We crossed over the railway line and we walked down to the entrance of the park. For dinner Matthew had washed down a can of Irn Bru. In the park Matthew walked up to the playground. Once we had finished in the park we walked back along Grove Road. We crossed over the Whieldon Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. It was someone birthday so we sang happy birtday and we had some egg sandwiches and some cake. Matthew also had a glass of Coke. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Afford rent-a-car MT70 AFZ. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. On the way we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 394. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We got on the bus bus and we booked to Tunstall before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto trinity Street and then left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams. We followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Buslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street and we got up and got off the bus. We continued down to Asda and we did some shopping. After we had done the shopping we set off foot onto Woodland Street and we turned left onto High Street. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63103 on a #99 to Hanley. We got on the bus bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the High Street and we stopped at the bottom before joining Brownhills Road. We ran down the hill to Trubshsaw Cross and we continued straight through Longport and over the A500. We went up Porthill Bank and we followed the A527 through Wolstanton & May Bank and into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station. As we got up and got off the bus. We walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and up onto Ironmarket Halifax cash machine to get some money out for an upcoming trip. When we had finished we walked along Ironmarket and down Castle Walk and we visited Home Bargains. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We walked up Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. Matthew brought a sausage roll before continuing along Castle Walk. We stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage rolls followed by a jam filled shortbread biscuit and drink the can of Coke. We returned to the bus station and we waited for a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63101 on a #39A to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We ran up the hill into Hanley and we ran forwards onto Trinity Street. We turned right onto Stafford Street and we ran forwards onto Albion Street. We continued onto Bagnall Street and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walkd down to the bottom of the bus station. Matthew used the toilet and we walked up Lichfield Street and we past the fromer Stratstone showroom a which new convenience store. We set off back towards the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet. We waited for a bus to Bentilee. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67158 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Bentilee before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We got up and got off. We walked down Dawlish Drive and we got in a City Cabs taxi and we set off along onto Dawlish Drive. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and we turned right onto Malthouse Road. We turned right onto Wooliscroft Road and left onto Corneville Road. We turned right onto Ruxley Road and right onto the A52 and and we turned left onto Eaves Lane. We turned left onto Greasley Road and continued onto Greasley Road. Before we joined the A5009 and we ran past the Cemetery to Milton and we turned left onto Millrise Road and we ran forwards onto Maunders Road and we crossed over the old railway line. We turned right onto Newford Crescent and left onto the A53. We turned into the retail park. We headed through Cobridge and we ran past the site of the new Wrights Pies shop. At the lights we turned left onto Waterloo Road. We ran down to the ring Road and then we ran around Hanley before going onto Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we continued onto Victoria Road. We ran up to the top and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We ran down to Smithpool Road and we turned left. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled out in his room to use his computer and watch buses. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Travel Express SH70 EVN. We waited for a bus to Stoke. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63356 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We got off the bus and we crossed over Church Street and we walked around the corner onto Campbell Place and we walked up to Sainsbury's. Matthew brought a valentine's day card in Sainsbury's and afterwards we walked back along Campbell Place and we turned right onto Church Street. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was D&G Bus 119 on a #1 to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. For tea Matthew pasta and tuna followed by treacle tart and custard. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
