Today Matthew was going to Grandma's, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We set off onto the A5035 and we ran through Dresden where we saw Stanton's of Stoke RX65 YPM. We continued up to Longton and crossed over the A50. We joined Chadwick Street and we went past the Gladstone Pottery Museum. We crossed over Uttoxeter road and onto Bridgewood street. We turned left onto Forrister and then right onto Anchor Road. We ran to the top of the hill and into Adderley Green. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran into Bentilee to pick up another service user. We then set off onto Dividy Road and we ran down to Bucknall where we saw First Potteries 32079 on a #32 to Uttoxeter. We followed the road around to the left and at Joiners Square we went left onto Victoria Road. We went up the hill to the toip of the road and then we turned right onto the City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. For dinner Matthew had cheese oatcakes. After dinner Matthew went to Longton Park. For the trip we went on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we went down Masterson Street onto Smithpool Road. At the end we turned left onto Whieldon Road and we continued forwards onto Grove Road. At Heron Cross we turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50 into Blurton. We ran up to Chritchlow's Corner and we turned left onto Drubbery Lane. We crossed the A5035 and we went forwards onto Queens Park Avenue. We parked up and we went into the park. We went for a walk and Matthew had an ice cream. We walked around the pond and when it was time to go we climbed back aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off along Queens Park Avenue and over the A5035 onto Drubbery Lane. At the end we turned right onto Blurton Road and we ran down to the BP garage. We filled up with diesel and then we ran up Blurton Road and over the A50. We turned left onto Grove Road and we ran down and onto Whieldon Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and then right onto Alma Street. We then went via Watkin Street, Masterson Street and Christchurch Street back to respite. After a quick stop we set off onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. We ran up onto King Street and under the railway line into Longton. We ran along Market Street and then we turned left onto Anchor Road. We climbed the hill and over the other side into Adderley Green where we turned left onto the A5272. We ran down into Bentilee and we dropped off another service user. We turned around and went back to Adderley Green. We turned right onto Anchor Road and then right onto Heathcote Street. We dropped off another service user and we returned onto Anchor Road via Banbury Street. We ran down towards Longton and just before we reached town we turned right and cut across onto King Street. We ran down to the A50 link road and we joined the A50 up to Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton and turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and Matthew got home just after 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. We had seen the turn earlier in the day and it was booked to be dud First Potteries 67602. On the way to the bus stop we saw silver Ford minibus LK55 DYH.

Whilst we waited at the bus stop we saw First Potteries 67604 on a #22 to Longton.

A few minutes later the bus turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67602.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we headed over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we climbed the hill into Hanford and we turned right into Wilson Road. We ran down the hill onto the A34 and we went under the A500. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we passed First Potteries 67639 on the final #22 turned to Longton. We turned into the hospital and we saw ABC Supreme BV51 BNZ and First Potteries 37159 on a #25 to Keele. We turned right onto the A34 and we got off the bus. There was a car parked in the bus stop so we had to step off the bus into the middle of the dual carriageway... grrr! As we walked back towards Grandma's we saw First Potteries 32057 on a #25 to Hanley. At Grandma's Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. We said goodbye to Grandma around 18:00 and we ran along Occupation Street and Victoria Street onto the A52 and into Newcastle. We ran out along the A527 through May bank and Wolstatnton. We turned right don Porthill Bank and across the A500 into Longtport. At Trubshaw Cross we turned right onto Newcastle Street and we ran into Burslem. We crossed through town onto Moorland Road and we ran up the hill to Smallthorne. At the roundabouts we saw First Potteries 37159 again, this time on a #7 to Kidsgrove. We ran down to the bottom of Smallthorne via Fell Street and Coseley Street and after we got back onto Chell heath Road we cam eback up the hill via Ford Green Road, Saturn Road and Jupiter Street. We then set off home up Ford Green Road and left onto the A5272. We ran into Townsend and we joined the ring road. We left Hanley down Lichfield street and we passed First Potteries double decker 37146 running out of service. We ran forwards onto Victoria Road and we stopped at MacDonalds to pick up Matthews tea. We continued up to the top of Victoria Road and onto the A50 Link Road and we joined the A50 up to Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton and turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and Matthew got home just after 19:15. Matthew ate his MacDonalds which was a chicken Nugget meal with a plain cheeseburger, washed down with a cup of Coke. Matthew then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 23:30... Mark
