Today was the second day of the short break in Glasgow. Research for today consisted of looking up the various dat tickets for the local operators and checking the weather. It was due to rain all morning with high winds, clearing up in the afternoon and mild for the time of year. Matthew woke up around 07:00 and had toast for breakfast. Just after 09:00 we set off onto the Govanhill Street and we turned right onto Hollybrook Street and we waited for a bus towards Summerston. As short time later we saw a bus approaching As it got closer we saw it was First Glasgow 64143 on a #7A to Summerston.

We got on the and we booked flexible tickets at £4.50 each before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Hollybrook Street and we turned right onto Calder Street. We turned right into Victoria Road and we turned right onto the Pollokshaws Road and we ran forwards onto the A370 and we went through Glasgow and we turned left onto Stockwell Place. We ran forwards onto Howard Street and we turned left onto Jamaica Street. We ran forwards onto Broomielaw and we turned right onto Oswald Street and we ran forwards onto Hope Street. We turned left onto Cowcaddens Road and we turned right onto Garscube Road. We crossed over the A81 and we turned right onto Possil Road. We ran through Possilpark and we ran forwards onto Saracen Street. We ran forwards onto the A879 and forwards onto Skirsa Street. We turned right onto Herma Street and we turned left onto Cadder Road. We turned left onto Thornton Street and we turned right onto Sandbank Street and we ran forwards onto Rothes Drive and we ran through Summerston. We turned left onto Caldercuilt Road and we turned right onto Arrochar Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the stop outside the shops and we waited for a bus towards Glasgow. A short time later we saw a bus coming up the hill. We saw First Glasgow 37530 on layover. As it got closer we saw that it was First Glasgow 38469 on a #61 to Sandyhills.

We got on and we placed the flexible tickets under the scanner before we went upstairs we sat down. The bus set off along Arrochar Street and we turned left onto Caldercuilt Road. We ran forwards onto Rothes Drive and we turned left onto Shiskine Drive. We turned left onto the A81 and we ran through Wyndford. We continued through Maryhill and we saw McGill’s 8945 on a X10 to Stirling. We an forwards onto Maryhill Road and we joined the Southbound A804. We turned right onto the A81 and we turned right onto Cambridge Street and we turned right onto Cowcaddens Road. We turned left onto Renfrew Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a walk onto we turned right onto Cambridge Street and we turned right onto Sauchiehall Street and we went to Tesco Express store. Matthew brought a can of Coke and a couple of chocolate bars. When we had finished we went out and Matthew decided he needed the toilet. There was a pub next door so we visited Costa Coffee. Matthew used the toilet and then Matthew had a sausage roll and and a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished eating and drinking we walked through the shopping centre and back onto Sauchiehall Street and left onto Hope Street and we turned right onto Renfrew Street. We ran North up Killermont Street and onto the bus station. We looked for something that we could catch to Paisley. We saw Ember SG22 LTV on a E3 to Dundee.

As it got closer we saw it was First Glasgow 37243 on a #9 to Paisley.

We got on the bus and we flashed the flexible tickets to the driver before we went upstairs. As the rear of the top deck was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Glasgow 37243.

We set off out of the bus station and onto Killermont Street. We continued onto Renfrew Street and we turned left onto Renfield Street. We headed Southwards onto Union Street and we ran past Glasgow Central railway station before We crossed over the Clyde on the A77. We turned right onto the A8 and we headed Westwards. We ran through Cessnock and we contoinued Forwards onto the A761. We crossed over the M8 and into Craigton. We continued through Halfway, Cardonald and Ralston. We came into Paisley from the East along Gauze Street and we crossed over White Cart Water and we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus we crossed over Gauze Street and we headed into the shopping centre. We stopped to use the toilets before continuing through the shopping centre onto County Place. We stopped at pub for dinner. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a burger and chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had chocolate fudge cake and custard. When we had finished we headed onto County Place and we turned right onto Gilmour Street. We waited at the stop for a first bus towards Glasgow. Whilst we waited we saw Mcgill's J 5031 on a #38 to Glasgow.

A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Glasgow 37740 on a #9 to Glasgow.

We got on and we placed the flexible tickets under the scanner before we went upstairs we sat down. The bus set off down Gauze Street and we turned right onto the A761. We continued along the A761 through Ralston, Cardonald and Halfway. We continued to Craigton and we joined the Eastbound A8. We ran into KIngstone and we crossed the Clyde on the Northbound A77 bridge. We ran forwards onto Oswald Street and we ran past Glasgow Central railway station. We continued Northwards up Hope Stree and we turned right onto Renfrew Street. We ran forwards onto Killermont Street and we entered the bus station from the South end. We pulled onto a stand and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a look a round to see what we could catch we saw McGill’s 1818 on a #10 to Stirling.

We set off out of the bus station onto West Nile Street and we headed Southwards. We walked down to the river and we walked Eastwards We crossed over the Clyde at Gorbes Street and walked down to the Citizen Theatre to wait for a bus back towards the apartment. Whilst we waired we saw First Glasgow 38488 on a #5 to Castlemilk.

A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Glasgow 64143 on a #7A to Cambuslang.

We got on the bus and we flashed the flexible tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the A370. We turned right onto the Pollokshaws Road and we ran forwards onto Victoria Road opposite to Lidl. We got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the A6 and we decided to visit the Lidl Store. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we brough a couple of small bottles of Coke and a pack of Crunchies. When we had finished we set off across Victoria Road onto Kingarth Street. We turned right onto Ardbeg Lane and left onto Calder Street. We turned left onto HIckman Street and right onto Govanhill Street and we arrived at the appartment. We went in and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy for tea and a can of Coke. Matthew went to his room and did some of the Blog. Later on Matthew had a piece of Millionaires Shirtbread. He brushed his teeth and settle down for bed around 00:30... Mark.
