Today Matthew was doing some of his usual Sunday stuff, as well as going to Newcastle to see a band play. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up just after 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We got ready to go out and we set off just after 11:00. We got in the car and we set off through Blurton. We saw First Potteries 67141 on a #22 to Newcastle. We ran through Blurton up Finstock Avenue and we turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We continued onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Afterwards we set off down Wheildon Road and forwards onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we ran around the one-way system. We turned right onto Campbell Place and left onto Hartshill Road. We ran to the edge of Newcastle and we ran down George Street. At the roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Roac and right onto the Northbound A34. We ran through Milehouse to Chesterton and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a cheeseburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke, and we shared some chicken nuggets. When we had finished we headed to Newcastle. We got in the car and we set off down the A34. We ran through Milehouse to Newcastle and we turned left onto Ryecroft. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we turned left into the car park. We parked up and we cut through the car park on Hassell Street. We crossed over Barracks Road and we saw First Potteries 63175 on a #25 to Keele.

We continued into the bus station and we saw First Potteries 63176 on a #11 to Hanley.

We walked along Hassell Street and we turned right onto the High Street. Just past the Guildhall, there was a truck parked up and it was being used as a stage for the band to perform on. They were just starting to set up ready for the start at 13:00. After a quick chat to the band, we headed off to get Matthew a cake. We walked up High Street and we turned right onto Ironmarket. There was someone else on the other stage doing their set. We turned right onto Castle Walk and we stopped at The Cofee House. Matthew had a slice of Millionaire's Shrtbread and a bottle of Coke. When we had finished eating we headed back to the bus station before goimng onto the High Street. We saw First Potteries 47520 on a #9 to Fegg Hayes.

Beheind that we saw D&G Bus 523 arriving on the #101 to Hanley.

We walked onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto the High Street. We went into the area set up in front of the stage and we sat down. At 13:00 the anounced the band and they started to play. They played for around 30 miniutes and Matthew got up and went to have a cup of Coke from the nearby stall. After the band had finished we headed off down High Street and left onto Hassell Street. We stopped at the toilet at the bus station and Matthew used the toilet. We crossed Barracks Road and we cut through onto the got park. We got in the car and we set off onto Barracks Road. We turned left onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue and we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down into Stoke and we followed the one-way system. We turned left onto Liverpool Road and right onto Elanora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and at the end we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we ran forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and under the railway bridge into Longton. We ran forwards onto Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. WE climbed the hill up to Adderley Green and we turned left onto Mossfield Drive. We ran to the end and we parked up. Matthew was desperate for the toilet again so he had to go in a bush. We went to the back of the D&G Bus garage and we saw D&G Bus 161 parked in the depot.

We got back in the car and we drove to the other end of Mossfield Drive and parked up. We walked down the footpath to the back of the First Pottereis bus garage. We walked around the garage and we saw an number of ex First West of England in the depot some of which are to be painted before going to other depots. We walked down the path and we turned right onto the A5272. Outside the front of the garage we saw First Potteries 35690 parked up. We walked up the grass bank at the side of the garage and we saw First 35687 parked up, painted in the new colours.

Also seen around the side of the garage we First 33695. Behind that were former Stagecoach Manchester buses 15389 and 15396. There was a white single decker with the number 20xxx. We walked along the path at the back and there were another couple of ex First West of England buses that we could not see properly including First 35691. We walked up the path back to the car and we got in. Matthew had a can of Dr Pepper. We set of along Mossfield Drive and we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran down the hill into Longton and we turned left onto Market Street. We turned right onto Commerce Street and at the roundabout we turned right onto The Strand. We got out of the car and waited for a bus. We saw it was First Potteries 63146 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sitting down. The bus set off down The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road past the new Burger King. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road. I picked Matthew up and we went to dropp off uncle Dave. We set off onto City Road and we ran through Fenton down to Stoke. We turned left onto the A500 and we ran forwards onto Wheildon Road past the old Board Products factory which is being converted into a new soft play place. We dropped off uncle Dave's and we set off back to Blurton. We set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub which is now being set up as an Indian Restaurant. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Street. We turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton just after 14:30. We did some of the Blog and we had a Scotch Egg. Later on Matthew had a burger and fries with donner neat washed down with a can of Cherry Coke followed by a cake bar. Later on Matthew had a bath. Later on we had a Twirl each. Matthew settled down for bedtime around 00:00... Mark
