Trip to the Etruria Transport Rally 20-09-2026

Today Matthew was going to McDonalds and going around the bus garages. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we went to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we set off around 10:40. We got ready and went out in tne car to pick up uncle Dave just after 11:00. We set off through Blurton onto Finstock Avenue, right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We continued onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Afterwards we set off down Wheildon Road and forwards onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we ran around the one-way system. We turned right onto Campbell Place and left onto Hartshill Road. We ran to the edge of Newcastle and we ran down George Street. At the roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road and right onto the Northbound A34. We ran through Milehouse to Chesterton and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a cheeseburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke, and we shared some chicken nuggets. When we had finished we headed to the transport rally at Etruria to see if there was anything interesting in the yard. We got in the car and we set off down the A34. We ran through Milehouse and we turned left onto St Michaels Road and we ran forwards onto Wulstan Drive. We continued onto Sandy Lane and we crossed the A53 onto Albert Street. We turned left onto the A52 and at the roundabout we went forwards onto Shelton New Road. We turned left onto Castlefield Street and we parked up at the far end. We walked into the park past the site of the old gas cylinder and we walked down to the vintage cars. There were no buses at the event this year. We crossed over the canal to the car park and we saw silver minibus S18 WAD parked up.

We visited the toilets at Etruria Industrial Museum and afterwards we went into the tearoom. Matthew had a slice of cake and a can of coke which came to a very reasonable £1.70. We walked back to the car and we drove down Castlefield Street. We turned right onto Shelton New Road and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran through Stoke to Sideway and we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off at Longton and we turned left onto Baths Road. We passed Longton Interchnage and we turned right onto Market Street. We turned left onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill to Adderley Green. We turned right onto the A5272 and we turned right to go and look at the buses and coaches parked up at Scraggs. We saw recent arrival 449 GYN parked up in the yard.

We turned left onto the A5272 and left onto Anchor Road. We turned right omto Mossfield Drive and we drove to the far end. We got out of the car and we walked around the back of the D&G Bus garage. We saw D&G Bus 3014 parked up in the row.

We got back in the car and we drove to the other end of Mossfield Road and we parked in a small layby. We walked down the footpath over the site of the old Wass' market down to the Adderley Green garage. In the corner of the garage we saw First Potteries 63356 parked up. We walked onto the A5272 and we headed Eastwards. by the road over the hedge we saw First Potteries 63349. We walked around the side behind the garage. We saw First Potteries 67147 in the E200MMC row.

We walked past the pertol station onto Anchor Road and we turned right onto the path behind the depot. As we walked along the path of note was First Potteries 35949. We turned left over Wass's site footpath and we walked up the hill back to the car. We got in the car and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We set off along Mossfield Drive and we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran down the hill into Longton and we turned left onto Uttoxeter Road. We turned right onto Commerce Street and at the roundabout we turned right onto The Strand. We got out of the car and waited for a bus. We saw it was First Potteries 63103 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sitting down. The bus set off down The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and we to got up and got off the bus. We met up with uncle Dave and we got in the car. We set off down King Street and we turned left onto Duke Street. We joined the A50 link road up to Heron Cross and we joined the Westbound A50. We ran along Stanley Matthews Way and we passed D&G Bus 6009 on a #24 to Norton. As we approached the pub we saw D&G Bus 5221 on a #27A to Bentilee. We turned at the roundabout and we went back down Stanley Matthews Way. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we came off at Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road and left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we dropped off uncle Dave. We ran back up Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. At Heron Cross we turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed the A50. We ran through Blurton and at the roundabout we veered right onto Church Street and we turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. When we got back Matthew had a scotch egg and a can of Cherry Coke. For tea Matthew had steak slice, chips and beans. later on we continued eriting the Blog. Matthew had his medication and watched some adverts on YouTube. After a bath Matthew had some New York Cheesecake. We continued working on the Blog and watching YouTube until bedtime around 23:30... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre. When it was time to go out we went downstairs and onto Temple Street. We turned cut through onto City Road and we headed towards the bus stop. We walked to the stop opposite the flats and we saw First Potteries 35950 on a #40 to Newstead. We waited for a bus to Hanley. The bus turned the corner and we saw it was First Potteries 67176 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right onto College Road and. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street. We ran up the hill into the bus station and onto stand. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. A short time later we saw Stanton's of Stoke 6492 VT on a #58 Etruria Vale circular service. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67173 on a #38 to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over Broad Street and we continued onto Marsh Street. At the lights we turned left onto Etruria Road past former Sainsbury's supermarket. Just before we got to the A53 onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past a new minibus building by the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford and we ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station onto Barracks Road and at the roundabout we turned left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We ran Northwards past the bus garage and we ran through Milehouse. We ran Northwards to the McDonald roundabout and we turned left onto Wolstanton Road. At the roundabout we turned right onto Chesterton. As we turned onto Crackley Bank we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we waited for the next bus towards Kidsgrove. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 106 on a #95 to Biddulph. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Crackley Bank and we ran through Crackley and Red Street. We crossed over the A500 and we veered left onto Oak Tree Lane and right onto Jamage Road. We turned right somewhere and left onto Crown Bank. We re-joined the road and we ran forwards onto Coalpit Hill. We ran forwards onto the A34 and up towards somewhere where we turned right onto the B5371. We ran forwards onto First Avenue and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked around the corner onto the B5371 we walked onto the A50 and onto Heathcote Street and Matthew visited the toilet. As we walked through the King Street and we turned left onto Somerset Avenue. We turned right onto Victoria Avenue and we stopped at one of the house and Matthew had a glass of Coke. We continued along Victoria Avenue and we walked along a path onto Bedford Road. We turned right onto King Street and we walked down Attwood Street and we turned left onto Liverpool Road and up to the bus stop. A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 3017 on a #95 to Biddulph. A short time later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 63172 on a #103 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off along the A50. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and then forwards through Sandyford past the new retail park into Tunstall. We ran down the High Street. We continued down the High Street and we ran past the former Co-operative bank. We turned left onto Williamson Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto Scotia Road and past the the old bus garage before running up the hill into Burslem Town centre. We ran through the light onto Waterloo Road and up the hill into Cobridge. We ran down the hill towards Hanley and then up into town along Hope Street and Stafford Street. We turned right at the end past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street before entering the bus station where we got up got off. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later the bus appeared. We saw it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off we walked back along Christchurch Street and we returned onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When Matthew got back we went upstairs and went up to his room to chill out and use the computer. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left into Watkin Street and we turned left into Marlborough Street. We turned left into Watkin Street and we turned left into Marlborough Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the pub on foot. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. Matthew chilled out in the pub all afternoon and afterwards returned to the residential unit. We set off along Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots with gravy followed by a slice of orange club. Later on he had a drink of Fanta orange and a few digestive biscuits. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue and we saw silver minibus RO21 HZW parked up. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We saw City Centre Central MJ70 AZF parked on the side Street outside the Fenton church. We turned right onto Temple Street past the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We turned left onto Liverpool Road and we veered right onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street and right onto Lytton Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we ran forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and under the railway bridge into Longton. We ran forwards onto Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Sutherland Road and we turned left onto Weston Coyney Road passed the site of a new Lidl. We turned left onto the A520 and left onto the A5272. We turned right onto Hulme Road and right into the entranced to Park Hall. We parked up near to the visitor centre and we walked to the toilet block and Matthew used the toilet. We walked to the main car park and we saw yellow minibus LG68 JYW.

Afterwards we returned to the car. We set off out of Park Hall onto Hulme Road and we turned right onto the A5272. We turned left into the road outside the bus garage and we stopped to see what was at the Scraggs garage today. We saw Scraggs 1580 VT parked up on the yard.

We turned left onto the A5272 and left onto Anchor Road. We turned right omto Mossfield Drive and we drove to the far end. We got out of the car and we walked around the back of the D&G Bus garage. We saw D&G Bus 111 parked up in the row.

We got back into the car and we drove down to the other end of Mossfield Drive. We got out of the car and we walked down the footpath to the First Potteries bus garage. We walked around the garage and we saw a number of buses at the front of the garage. We turned left onto the A5272 and we cut behind the back of the pertol station. At the side of the bus garage behind the petrol station we saw First 33835 which is at the depot for a repaint.

We cut back out onto Anchor road and we turned right by the new advertising hoarding along the path behind the bus garage where we saw First 36321 which is currently at Adderley Green for assessment for future electric YE74 VGO. We turned left and up the hill back to the car. When we got back to the car we got in and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We set off along Mossfield Drive and we turned right onto Anchor Road. As we travelled down Anchor Road, the carrier bag we had bough the cans out into the car was sucked out of the window by the wind! We ran into Longton and we turned left onto Market Street. We turned left onto Commerce Street and at the roundabout we turned right onto The Strand. We ran under the railway bridge and onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and we turned left onto the A50 link road. We turned right and we joined the Westbound A50. At Sideway we headed towards the incinerator and we ran forwards onto White Rock Road. We continued onto Railway Cottages and we turned left. We turned around at the end of the road and we drove back to the turning circle to wait for the buses. We saw D&G Bus 6002 on a #24 to Newstead. After we had seen the bus we went to drop off uncle Dave. We set off along Railway Cottages and we ran forwards onto White Rock Road. We crossed over the A500 and we did a turn at the roundabout and back onto the A500. We ran up to Stoke and we crossed over the A50 and we turned back Southwards. We veered left onto Wheildon Road and we dropped uncle Dave off. We set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we turned right onto the A50. We ran along Stanley Matthew Way and we turned left onto the A5035. We got back to Blurton around 14:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer. Later on we decided to do a bus to Newcastle and meet jup with mum. We set off on foot and we walked to the bus stop all the way over on Magdalen Road. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67155 on a #22 to Newcastle. We got on to the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down near to the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went past the Trentham Hotel we turned right into New Inn Lane. We turned left into Wilson Road and left into Church Lane. We continued down to the hill and we joined the Northbound A34. In the distance saw an unidentified Lakeside coach join the Northbound A500. We headed into Trent Vale. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we continued forwards on Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Mum was waiting on Stubb Street and we got into the car. We set off onto Barracks Road and we headed up to the Jubilee Roundabout. We did a u-turn and we went back along Barracks Road. We joined the Southbound A34 and we ran into Trent Vale. We ran under the A500 into Hanford and forwards into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and we ran into Blurton. We got back home and Matthew had a Scotch Egg and a can of Dr Pepper. We did the Blog and later on Matthew had a Caramelised biscut cake slice with yoghurt. We did some more Blog and Matthew had a raspberry turnover. We carried on doing the Blog and later on dad did Pizza for tea. After the pizza Matthew chilled on his computer and later on he had his medication. Matthew had a bath and got ready for bed. For supper Matthew had a slice of cheesecake. Matthew used his computer until bedtime around 23:30... Mark.

We ran into the centre of town past the old Lloyds bank and onto Scotia Road past the site of the new Lidl. We turned left onto Williamson Street and right onto Tunstall High Street. We ran to towards Goldenhill and down the hill into Kidsgrove where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked around the corner onto the B5371 we walked onto the A50 and onto Heathcote Street and Matthew visited the toilet. As we walked through the King Street and we turned left onto Bedford Road. We turned right onto Victoria Avenue and we stopped at one of the house and Matthew had a glass of Coke. We continued along Victoria Avenue and we walked along a path onto Bedford Road. We turned right onto King Street and we walked around the corner onto Liverpool Road. We waited for the bus towards Hanley. A short time later the bus appeared. It was D&G Bus 5025 on a #95 to Audley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off along the A50 and we turned left onto The Avenue. We ran forwards onto First Avenue and we ran to the end. We turned left onto the A34 and at the light we ran straight onto Coalpit Hill. We ran forwards onto Swan Bank and we turned left onto Jamage Road. We turned left onto Oak Tree Lane and at the roundabout we went forwards onto Talke Road. We crossed over the A500 and we continued onto Liverpool Road. We ran down Crackley Bank and we got up and gt off the bus. Once off the bus we went to Dragon Square. We walked down the road to the shop and Matthew bought a can of Coke. We returned to the bus stop and we waited for the next bus towards Kidsgrove. Matthew ate a bacon bap and drank his coke. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63102 on a #39 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Crackley Bank over Parkhouse West Road. We turned left onto London Road and at roundabout we went left onto Wolstanton Road. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A34 and we ran Southwards through Cross Heath through to the edge of Newcastle, We veered left onto Liverpool Road and we turned left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto barracks Road and we turned right into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Castle Walk and we stopped to Bristish Heart Foundation Home and Fashion and Matthew bought some boots. We walked along Castle Walk and we turned left onto Hassell Street and we visited Poundland. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We came out the shop and we stopped at the market stalls. Afterwards we set off along Hassell Street and back to the bus station. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud D&G Bus 6011 on a #1 to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Meir before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the grounds and onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. We ran past the site of the new Burger King and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton Transport Interchange onto Baths Road and we ran forwards onto Market Street. We turned left onto Anchor Road and right onto Sutherland Road. We ran to the other end of the road and we turned left onto Weston Coyney Road. We ran up the hill past Matthew's old respite place and at the end we turned right onto the A520 and we turned left onto Brookwood Drive. We turned right onto Stansmore Road and we turned left onto Leason Road. We paused in the Square before going onto Woodville Road. We turned left onto the A520 and we ran into the centre of Meir. At the roundabout we turned right onto Broadway and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked into Broadway. We continued to the bus stop and we waited for a bus back to Fenton. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6010 on a #1 to Park Site. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off along Broadway and we joined the Westbound A50. We ran fast to the edge of Longton and we came off the A50 onto the end of Lightwood Road. We crossed over the A50 and we ran into Longton down The Strand. At the end we turned left onto Baths Road and we entered Longton Transport Interchange onto Baths Road and we turned left onto King Street under the railway line. We continued through Foley along King Street and into Fenton. We went forwards onto City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew headed along Church Street and we turned left onto Kingsway and we continued around the one-way system onto Kingsway and we stopped at All Good Things. We walked up Church Street. After a short while bus back to Fenton appeared. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 35944 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Church Street and we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and we turned left onto Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road, continuing onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we went across Lichfield Street and we continued along Stafford Street and we stopped at the cosmetics shop to buy dinner and we set off along Stafford Street past the site of the fire in the old Leek Building Society. We continued forwards to Percy Street and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. After we had finished we set off along Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. Matthew visited the toilet and afterwards we waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. We saw it was First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw a bus approaching. The bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street and we ran up to the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and we got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63346 on a #103 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we booked to Kidsgrove before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. They are currently demolishing parts of the building. Due to the fire on Stafford Street the bus was diverted. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Buslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street and past the A527 where there is a new pertol station. We continued North onto the A50. We ran through Goldenhill and we got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the Goldenhill Community Centre and we went to a fun day. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards had chicken nuggets and chips for tea. Matthew had a can of Coke. For dessert Matthew had some cake. When we had finished we got back into the car and we set off onto the A50. We ran North into Kidsgrove and we turned right onto Mount Road. We continued onto Pennyfield Road and we ran up through Harriseahead and towards Mow Cop. We continued up to the Edge of Biddulph and we turned right onto the A527. We ran Southwards through Brown Lees and Brindley Ford and we followed the road through Knypersley and Fegg Hayes up to Chell. We continued along the A527 through Pits Hill and Sandyford and down to the A500. We ran Southwards through Longport and Etruria and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We ran up the A52 under the railway line and we ran forwards onto City Road and into Fenton. We turned right into Manor Street and left into Victoria Road and we continued onto Victoria Road and we stopped at Buzz Bingo. Matthew went to the toilet and had a down with a cup of Coke. We got an ABC Supreme taxi back to the residential unit. We set off up Victoria Road. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Matthew had a cheeseburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke, and we shared some chicken nuggets. After we had finished eating we went outside to the bus stop to wait for a bus to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the A34 and we ran through Milehouse and as we headed towards Newcastle and we turned left onto Liverpool Road and left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto barracks Road and we turned right into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked over to the car and we got in the car. We set off onto Barracks Road and we turned left onto the A34. We turned left onto The Avenue and we ran up to Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke and onto the one-way system. We turned left onto Glebe Street and right onto Lytton Street and we saw grey minibus WX08 AUJ. We turned left onto City Road and under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran under the railway line into Longton and we went forwards onto Market Street past the former Nat West bank which is going to be a hair transplant premises. We turned left onto Anchor Road and right onto Sutherland Road. We turned left onto Weston Coyney Road and we turned into the Cinder Hill industrial estate to see if there was anything at Reids. The yard was empty today. We continued up Weston Coyney Road passed the site of a new Lidl. We turned left onto the A520 and left onto the A5272. We turned right onto Hulme Road and we stopped at Park Hall. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we went to look at a horse box that had been fitted out inside as a camper van. The guy who owned the vehicle kindly let Matthew have a look inside! Afterwards we returned to the car. We set off out of Park Hall onto Hulme Road and we turned right onto the A5272. We turned left into the road outside the bus garage and we stopped to see what was at the Scraggs garage today. We saw Scraggs 1672 VT parked up on the yard.

When we got back to the car we got in and Matthew had a can of Dr Pepper. We set off along Mossfield Drive and we turned right onto Anchor Road. As we travelled down Anchor Road. We ran into Longton and we turned left onto Market Street. We turned left onto Commerce Street and at the roundabout we turned right onto The Strand. We ran under the railway bridge and onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and we turned left onto the A50 link road. We turned right and we joined the Westbound A50. At Sideway we headed towards the incinerator and we ran forwards onto White Rock Road. We continued onto Railway Cottages and we turned left. We turned around at the end of the road and we drove back to the turning circle to wait for the buses. We saw D&G Bus 6010 on a #24 to Newstead. Also seen was D&G Bus 151 on a #27A to Newstead. After we had seen the bus we went to drop off uncle Dave. We set off along Railway Cotages and we ran forwards onto White Rock Road. We crossed over the A500 and we headed to Sideway roundabout. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we went to look at a horse box that had been fitted out inside as a camper van. The guy who owned the vehicle kindly let Matthew have a look inside!
