Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Llandudno on a coach. Matthew got up around 06:00. and had toast for breakfast. Around 09:00 we set off downstairs and onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and we went into te Co-operative Food store. Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished in the shop we continued along Christchurch Street and we stopped opposite the bench and bar to wait for the coach to arrive. A second coach appeared and it was Copeland's Tours MIB 615 also going to Llandudno.

We got on the coach, found our seats and we sat down. We set off along Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Glebedale Road. We turned left onto City Road. We ran over the railway line and then we turned went Forwards onto the A52. We went under the railway line and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran North up to the M6 and we continued North as far as junction 20. At Junction 20 we went Westwards along the M56. We ran Southwards for around 25 miles and we came off the M6 onto the A5117 and stopped at Chester servcies. Matthew went to the toilet before returning to the coach for the last leg of the journey. We re-joined the Southbound M56 and forwards onto the A494. We crossed over the Dee at Queensferry and we joined onto the Westbound A55. We ran to junction 19 and we joined the Northbound A470. We ran into town and we went around the one-way system and parked up just off Mostyn Broadway. Once off the coach we saw a new building being built in Llandudno. We walked into the centre of town and stopped at a toilet. We turned left onto St George's Place. We went onto the Promendae and we spent some time on the beach. We saw grey minibus BP24 ZDM.

We returned Up St Georges Place and back onto Mostyn Street. Whilst we waited we saw Llew Jones SJ71 LLJ on a #19 to Conwy.

We went to The Coffee Centre. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had sausage ships and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we walked down Mostyn Street and we crossed over the road. As we turned into St George's Place and we went onto the Promendae. We walked arounf the corner onto Gloddaeth Cres and we continued onto North Parade promenade and into the Leisure Island Amusement Arcade. We ran to Pier Kids Funfair Rides and we went to the toilet and and we walked onto the Llandudno Pier Ferris Wheel. Afterwards Matthew had an ice cream. When we had finished we walked back along North Parade and back up the Saint George's Crescent. Afterwards Matthew had washed down with can of Coke. We went onto the Promendae and we spent some time on the beach. We returned Up St Georges Place and back onto Mostyn Street. We continued onto Mostyn Broadway and Matthew went into a Poundland and Matthew brought egg sandwiches and a bottle of orange Fanta. We came out of the shop and we saw Arriva NW&W 4486 on a #12 to Rhyl. Once off the bus we crossed over the road and we went to the Trinity Square Cafe. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we went to the bar and Matthew had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 536.

When we finished in the coffee shop we walked back to the coach park. As we got to the stop we saw Arriva NW&W 4404 on a #12 to Rhyl.

We got on the coach and we sat down in our seats. We set off onto the one-way system. We ran Eastwards along Mostyn Broadway and we turned left onto Carmen Sylva Road. We turned right onto the B5115 and we headed Eastwards out of town. We ran past the Little Orme to the edge of Rhos on Sea and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned right onto Penrhyn Avenue and we ran down to the see front. We turned right onto Rhos Promenade and we continued onto West Promenade. We turned right onto Cayley Promenade and right onto Whitehall Road. At the roundabout we veered slight left onto the B5115 and we crossed over the A55 at junction 19. We continued Eastwards thriugh Noerh Wales and we ran forwards onto the A494 at Queensferry. We got onto the Eastbound M56. We ran Southwards for around 25 miles and we came off the M6 onto the A5117 and stopped at Chester servcies. Matthew went to the toilet and we saw silver minibus YT06 HPU.

Matthew went to the toilet before returning to the coach for the last leg of the journey. We re-joined the Southbound M56 At junction 9 we joined the Southbound M6 and we ran down to junction 16. We went Southwards down the A500 to Etruria and we cam off the A500. We turned left onto City Road. We went under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Christchurch Road and we got up and got off the coach. We walked back into Temple Street and we continued to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out. He also ate a bakewell tart. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going on the bus to re-visit to Chester. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Staffs Border Cars ND59 XAC.

Later on when it was time to go Matthew went downstairs to get on a bus. Transport for the journey to Hurleston was Shelton Care Group BL69 RFF. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill onto the A52. We ran under the railway line towards Stoke. we crossed over the A500 before we turned right onto the Northbound carriageway. We ran North for a few miles and then we continued Westwards as we crossed under the M6. We continued along the A500. Today we decided to stop on the end of the A500 to eat food from the van there. He had a bacon and egg sandwich with tomato sauce washed down wit a can of Coke. to the South of Crewe until we reached the end before going onto the Nantwich by-pass. At the end of the by-pass we turned right following the A51. We turned left into Snugbury's drive-thru for someone else. Once we got off the bus we had some ice cream. Matthew had a vanilla flavoured cone. He also went to see the giant bee made out of hay. Matthew walked down to Stoke. We set off onto A51 passing through Wardle, Caveley and Alpraham. We joined the A49 and then we diverted right onto High Street into the village. We waited for a bus towards Chester. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was unusually Arriva NW&W 4404 on a #84 to Chester. We got on and we brought Arriva Day Saver tickets before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out High Street into the village. We joined the A49 and we then we went through Tarporley where we saw Arriva NW&W 4407 on a #84 to Crewe. we left Tarporley and we got back onto the A51. We ran around another 5 miles along the A51 before turning off to go into Tarvin village. We went up Tarporley Road and we turned into High Street and we re-joined the A54. A few hundred yards down the road the at the next roundabout we joined the Westbound A51 and we ran through Littleton and over the A55 and the A41 and we ran into Chester through Vicars Cross. On the left we saw the Dee which looked almost as if it was going to burst its banks. We went around the one way system and onto the ring road and and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. On the Gorse Stacks side we saw Stagecoach Merseyside on a #5 to Wrexham. A few minutes later we saw Arriva NW&W 4551 on a #11 to Holywell. We got on and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver tickets before we went upstairs and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Gorse Stacks and turned right into Foregate Street. We went past a new adult gaming centre which appears to being built by the old betting shop. We turned right onto Love Street. We continued onto Lower Bridge Street and we turned left onto Old Dee Bridge into Handbridge. We continued onto Overleigh Road and we crossed the A483. After we had passed the Sealand turning the traffic was better and we went over the dee towards Wrexham. We turned onto the A51054 and we went through Lache and up to Broughton via Saltney. After calling into the busy Broughton Shopping Park we continued onto Hawarden. We turned right and we headed a mile or so down the hill past the garden centre and into Queensferry. We crossed under the A494 and we turned left by Asda. A couple of stops towards Shotton. We continued into Wepre and through Connah's Quay. We passed through Oakenholt and we came off the B5129 onto the A548. We then had run up towards Flint town centre and Bagillt. We headed up through Bedol and up over Whelston. As we travelled up we saw Arriva NW&W 4480 on a #11 to Chester. We ran Northwards up the We turned left onto High Street. We turned left onto the A5026 through Whelston. We ran Northwards into the More and we continued up towards Holywell. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up A5026 and into the bus station. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked through the shopping arcade onto the A5026. We turned left onto High Street and We went into pub and Matthew used the facilities upstairs. We came back down and Matthew had a small Coke. Once had finished the drink we went back outside and met up with uncle Dave. we set off down High Street. When we had finished we returned to the bus station to wait for the next bus to Rhyl. We saw we saw Arriva NW&W 4490 on a #11M to Rhyl. We got on and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver tickets before we went upstairs and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off the bus station and onto the A5026. We turned right onto the B5121. We ran through Bryn Celyn. We turned left onto the A5048 we ran through Greenfield and Llannerch-Y-Mor. We turned left onto Hafod-Y-Ddol Road and Glan-y-don. we forwards onto Ffordd Pennant. We turned left onto Mostyn. We continued through Rhewl-Mostyn and left onto Wirral View. We turned left onto the A5048 and we crossed over the Mostyn up Ffynnongroyw. We turned left onto Main Road. We turned left onto the A5048 into Glasdir. We continued through to Tanlan Banks and we we headed up past Talacre and Prestatyn. We turned left onto Bastion Road and we continued right onto into the bus station and onto Bastion Road. We turned left onto Bridge Road and we crossed over the railway line into Sandy Lane. We turned left onto the A5048 into Y-Ffrith and we headed through Rhyl and we ran into town. We ran into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was required Arriva NW&W 4485 on a #51 to Denbigh. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver tickets before we went upstairs and we sat down. We set off out of the bus station along Elwy Street. We turned right Wellington Road and we turned right onto High Street. We ran forwards onto Vale Road Bridge. We crossed over the A525 and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up to A525 past former pub site which is going to be a a new McDonalds. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As expected it was Arriva NW&W 4483 on a #36 to Rhyl. We got on and we brought Arriva Day Saver tickets before we went upstairs and sat down. the back of the bus. The bus set off out up the A525. We continued onto Vale Road Bridge and we ran into town. We ran into the bus station We got up and got off the bus. Afterwards, we had a look around to see what we could catch next. we spotted Arriva NW&W 2521 on a #12 to Llandudno. We got on the bus and we booked Arriva NW&W Day Savers before The bus set off out of the bus station along Elwy Street. We turned left onto Kinmel Street. We followed the road around onto Elwy Street. We turned left onto the A548 and we went through Kinmel into Bay Towyn. We continued into Belgrano and into Pensarn and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up to A548. We crossed the road and walked to the and Matthew had a bottle of Coke and a bottle of Cherry Coke as well as some chocolate and a box of millionaire shortbread squares. We crossed over the road and we headed to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Rhyl. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 2636 on a #12 to Rhyl. We got on the bus and we flashed Arriva NW&W Day Saver ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the A548 and we passed through Belgrano and into Bay Towyn. We entered Rhyl and we turned right onto High Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Whilst we decided what to catch next we saw Arriva NW&W 4487 on a #12 to Llandudno. We visited the toilet and afterwards we left the bus station and we crossed along Elwy Street. We walked along Bodfor Street and we met up with mum. We got in the car and Matthew had a can of Coke. We set off along Bodfor Street and we turned right Wellington Road and we turned right onto High Street. We ran forwards onto Vale Road Bridge. We crossed over the A525. We ran down through Rhuddlan and to Pengwern. We got onto the A55 at junction 19. We continued Eastwards thriugh Noerh Wales and we ran forwards onto the A494 at Queensferry. We got onto the Eastbound M56. At junction 9 we joined the Southbound M6. We went Southwards down the A500 and we ran down to the A527 and we continued into Sandyford. We joined Tunstall High Street and then we ran around the town centre and joined the roundabout and straight onto the A5271. We stopped by the police station and we continued down to Scotia Road. We continued to Burslem and we continued along the A50 into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we turned onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. we went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. chilled out in his room and used his computer. Later on Matthew had a KFC. He had a chicken burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

When it was time to go out we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we flashed the First Day ticket to the driver before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Church Street to Stoke Cafe. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered the food. For dinner Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished eating we set off onto Church Street. I asked Matthew if he wanted to do a #25 up to Hanley and he agreed. We crossed over the road and we waited at the Hanley bound stop. Opposite we saw First Potteries 65028 on a #11 to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 65029 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we flashed the Network Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we saw First Potteries 43876 on a #5 to Abbey Hulton. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the stand for the Crewe bus and we waited for the next one. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 65026 on a #3 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we flashed the First Day ticket to the driver before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto Trinity Street and we went past the former RBS now a new shop. We turned left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams we followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Burslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street We saw First Potteries 69172 on a #3 to Hanley. and we continued North onto the A50. We ran through Goldenhill and down the bank into Kidsgrove. We ran under the railway line and we passed the site of the new Lidl being built. into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34. We continued into Church Lawton and then into Alsager. We continued Westwards along the B5077 under the M6 and into Radway Green. We followed the road to the right up Slaughter hill and we continued straight up into Haslington. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station where we saw an unidentified Majestic coach. We continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw Arriva NW&W 2492 on a #31 to Northwich. We decided to have a quick walk around town for a break from buses. We set off around the corner onto Charles Street and right onto Victoria Street past the former Wetherspoons pub which closed down as part of the new bus station development that will be starting soon. We turned right on to Market Street and left onto Earle Street. We walked past the market which is under renovation, and we stopped at the pub on the end of the road. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we had a glass of Coke. Whilst we gad our drink we asked Matthew hwere he wanted to go next. He wanted to go to Nantwich so we looked at the time of the next bus. there was a departure in just less than 20 minutes so we finished our drinks and walked back to the bus station. We set off down Prince Albert Street and we turned right onto Crewe Street. We followed the street to the left onto and we turned right onto Moss Square. We re-joined Prince Albert Street and we turned left onto Chester Street and we turned right onto Market Street. We turned left onto Delamere Street and we entered the bus station from the Southern End. We walked into the main station and we saw Arriva NW&W 2951 on the #84 to Chester. We got on the bus and we booked an Arriva Day Saver ticket at £5.30 and then we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we went along Delamere Street and around the corner onto Chester Bridge. We went forwards onto Edleston Road and we passed required Arriva NW&W 894 on the #6 service. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A534 and we headed West. After traveling a couple of miles we turned left onto Wistaston Road and just before he level crossing we turned right onto Coppice Road. At the end of the road we re-joined the westbound A534 and we crossed over A51 at the Peacock Roundabout. Just before town we turned right onto Millstone Lane passing Arriva NW&W 4405 on a #84 to Crewe. By the tractor shop, we turned left onto Beam Street. We passed Marks & Spencer's and the library and we entered the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We saw GHA Solo SR 1201 on the #52 to Sainsbury's, and then we headed into town. We walked down Market Street and into the market and we went to the toilet. After we used the toilet we stopped at the stall where Matthew usually has a few sweets from, but it was now a workwear and safety equipment stall. We asked if there was a sweet still in the market and it turned out it had moved next door! Talk about having tunnel vision! We brought a few spearmint chews and then we walked back to the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Tarporley. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 4402 on a #84 to Chester. We got on the bus and we flashed an Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver we went upstairs and we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down bus station. We carried on through the town centre and as we turned towards the river we passed required Arriva NW&W 3161 on a #84 to Crewe. We carried out of the town under the canal and past the Marina. We joined the A51 and we carried on through the sticks. We went past Snugbury's. We carried on through the village of Wardle and then we crossed over the Crewe to Chester railway line. We carried on through Calveley and Alpraham. At a crossroad we carried on to the A49 Tarporley by-pass before turning right to go through the village. so we went to the Spar shop attached to the local petrol station. Matthew brought 4 small bottles of pop for £1, a Milky Way and a Galaxy Caramel as well as a can of Coke for later. Everything came to a grand total of £2.70 which seem very good value for a convenience store. We walked to the bus stop and Matthew had one of the small bottles of pop and decided to have a Rice Crispies Squares from the trip bag for a snack. The bus went up and down the High Street a couple of times before eventually reversing into the community centre car park. The time for the return bus came and went... It turned up around 10 minutes late. It was Arriva NW&W 4404 on a #84 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we flashed the day Saver tickets before we went upstairs we sat down towards the back of the bus and we set off down the High Street onto the Eastbound A49. We carried on the forwards onto the A51 and we went through Alpraham, Caveley and Wardle and past Snugburys we passed Arriva NW&W 3161 on a #84 to Chester. We left We went forwards onto the B5341 through Acton and under the canal into Nantwich. We crossed the river Weaver. We went forwards onto Beam Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards Chester. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 2951 on a #84 to Crewe. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 4405 on a #84 to Chester. We got on and we brought Arriva Day Saver tickets at £5.50 each before we went upstairs we sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station onto Beam Street We crossed the river Weaver and we went forwards onto Welsh Row. We carried on under the Shropdhire Union canal and through Acton. We joined the A51 and we passed Snugbury's Ice Cream. We crossed over a branch of the canal. We carried on along the A51 through Wardle, Caveley and Alpraham. We joined the A49 and then we diverted right onto High Street into the village. We joined the A49 and we then we went through Tarporley where we saw Arriva NW&W 4402 on a #84 to Crewe. we left Tarporley and we got back onto the A51. We ran around another 5 miles along the A51 before turning off to go into Tarvin village. We went up Tarporley Road and we turned into High Street and we re-joined the A54. A few hundred yards down the road the at the next roundabout we joined the Westbound A51 and we ran through Littleton and over the A55 and A41 into Vicars Cross. We crossed the Shropshire Union Canal and we went around the one way system onto Christleton Road. We continued West along the A51 into Broughton and we could see the mist over the River Dee to the left of us. We went around the Square roundabout and we turned sharp right onto City Road and up towards the railway station. When we got off the bus we had around 35 minutes to get 1/4 of a mile across town to Foregate Street so that we could catch the #1 to Wrexham. On the way down we saw required Arriva NW&W 4641 on a #1 to Wrexham. we booked an Arriva Day Saver ticket before we went upstairs we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along Station Road and we ran forwards onto Brook Street. We turned left onto the A56 and we turned left onto St Oswalds Way. We crossed over the A5268. We went through the lights onto Vicar's Lane and we ran forwards onto Pepper Street. We continued onto Grosvenor Street. We ran up to the A483 and we ran forwards into Marleston-cum-Lache. We turned left onto Heronsway. We travelled through the industrial estate. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A483 past old Park and Ride site which is going to be a new play areas, outdoor gyms, public toilets and libraries. We ran up the hill through Pulford and we turned left Wrexham Road and we travelled through Belgrave. We ran up the hill and into Cuckoo's Nest. We ran down Chester Road. We travelled through Pulford and over Lavister roundabouts to Rossett. we crossed over Marford. We ran forwards onto Marford Hill. We ran down Chester Road past Marford Play Area. We ran up into Gresford and we crossed the Gresford Interchange onto the A5152. We ran into Garden Village and we turned into Rhos-ddu. We crossed the A5152 and into Wrexham. We crossed the roundabout onto Rhosddu Road and we entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along King Street. We went into the bus station. On one of the layover bays we saw Arriva NW&W 2145 on a #35 to Borras. We headed down the bus station and Matthew decided to go to Mold. Whilst we waited we saw Arriva NW&W 2149 on a #26 to Mold. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station. We turned left onto King Street and left onto Lord Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and we turned right onto Regent Street. At the main junction we turned left onto the Southbound A5152 and we crossed over the railway line at Wrexham Central. We turned right into Watery Road and we turned right into Rhyd Broughton Lane. We ran forwards onto Berse Road and we turned left onto Mold Road. We crossed the Mold Interchange onto the A541 and we turned left onto Old Mold Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A541. At the next roundabout we went North up and through Gwersyllt. We carried on through Cefn-y-bedd and we turned right onto the A550 and we ran over the railway line into Caergwrle. We ran through Bridge End and we ran into Caergwrle. We cross over onto Castle Street and we turned right onto the A541. We ran into Pontblyddyn and we turned left onto the A5104. We ran up the hill into Leeswood and we turned right onto Pontybodkin Hill. We turned left onto Queen Street and we continued onto Oak Park. We travelled through Stryt-cae-rhedyn. We ran forwards onto Windover Corner and. We cross over onto Leeswood Hall and we ran over Leeswood Turning. We turned left onto Wrexham Road and ran up the hill into the town centre and we turned right into A5119. We turned into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once we were in Mold. we got in the car. Matthew had a sausage roll and a can or orange Fanta. We set off along A5119 and we ran into New Brighton. We got onto the A494 and we ran into Alltami and we continued to Aston, Deeside and Queensferry. We continued to Garden City. We got onto the Eastbound M56. At junction 9 we joined the Southbound M6. We went Southwards down the A500 to Etruria and we cam off the A500. We turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road, We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his roon to watch TV and chill out. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. For tea Matthew had a chicken burger from kfc. He also had some fries and a cup of Coke followed by a jam filled sponge. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus and The route of the new link road in Congleton. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Afford Rent-A-Car MK67 UEP.

For a late dinnnr we had a sausage sandwich. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car KV19 NUK outside there yard.

We stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Shelton. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 63097 on a #11 to Newcastle. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we flashed the First Network ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we we walked down College Road and we went into Hanley Park and parked in the car park. We walked to the pavillion and we brought a chocolate tiffin and a bottle of Coke. Matthew ate his sausage bap a bottle of Coke. After we ate the food and we walked onto the canal. We ran through Bucknall. we waited for a bus towards Leek. A short time later we saw D&G 118 on a #16 to Leek. We got on the bus and we brought a day ticket before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off the A52. and up Ash Bank. We travelled through Warrington and up the Cellerhead where we turned left onto the A520. We ran through Wetley Roacks and Cheddleton and we climbed the hill into Leek town centre. We turned right outta Compton and then right again into the bus station. When we got off the Once we had finished eating we returned to the bus station where we saw D&G Bus 126. A short time later the bus appeared and it was D&G Bus 108 on the #109 to Macclesfield. We got on the bus and we brought a day ticket before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto the A523 and we continued onto the Southbound A53. We turned left into Compton. We turned right into Selborne Road we turned right into Junction Road. We turned left onto the A53 and right onto Wallbridge Drive. We turned left onto Wetenhall Drive left onto Westwood Park Drive. We turned right onto Westwood Park Avenue and we turned right onto Oakwood Road. We turned right onto Westwood Heath Road and we ran forwards onto Westwood Road. We ran forwards onto West Street and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We turned left onto the A523. We continued down the valet past Sainsbury's and we climbed out of Leek towards Poolend. We turned left onto Rudyard Road. We ran through Rudyard. We turned left onto Green Lane and we turned left onto the A523. We continued into Ruston Spencer before We crossed over the A54 at Bosley and we continued North into Macclesfield. In town we continued onto the A536 and we turned left onto Sunderland Street. We turned left onto Queen Victoria and we entered the bus station and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw Arriva NW&W 703. A few minutes later the bus to Congleton arrive. It was Arriva NW&W 4404. We got on and we brought Arriva Day Saver tickets before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station and we ran through town onto the A536. We ran out of town through Warren in Rode Heath. We ran to the edge of town and we turned left onto the A54. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked down onto Market Street and we turned right onto Bridge Street past of the old RBS bank a new use. We continued along Bridge Street and we visited WH Smith. We brought a couple of bottle of soft drinks and 3 chocolate bars. We walked onto Walked Street and Matthew visited the toilet at the top end of the bus station. We returned to the bus stop and Matthew ate a Bounty. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As expected it was Arriva NW&W 4402 on a #38 to Crewe. We got on and we brought Arriva Day Saver tickets before we went upstairs and sat down. the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned right onto the A34. We ran North through Lower Heath. We turned right onto the A538. We ran Northwards up to Eaton. We ran north through Rodeheath and Highlane up towards Gawsworth past the A 2 B Taxis. We continued along A536 and we ran into Sutherland Street. We turned left into Waters Green where we saw Andrews PJ03 TFF. and Queen Victoria Street. When we got to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards, we had a look around to see what we could catch next. we spotted Arriva NW&W 2934 on a #10 to Bollington. We got on the bus and we booked Arriva NW&W Day Savers before The bus set off out of the bus station and across Mill Street onto Roe Street. We turned right onto Chuchill Way. We turned right onto the A537. We turned left onto the A538. We ran north through Tytherington. We turned right onto Brocklehurst Way. We turned left onto Tytherington Drive. We turned left onto Marlborough Drive. We turned right onto the A538. We turned right onto Tytherington Lane. We continued onto Bollington Road and we ran forwards onto Henshall Road. we went over Wellington Road. We ran into Bollington along Palmerston Street we left the bus empty before we got up. Once off the bus we walked up to Palmerston Street onto Wellington Road and we went to The Little Dessert Shop. For afters Matthew had a red velvet cheesecake with custard. when we had finished we walked along Wellington Road onto Palmerston Street. We waited at the bus stop for a bus to Macclesfield. A short time later we saw a bus turned the corner. When it got closer we saw it was Go-Goodwin 1947 on a #392 to Macclesfield. Right behind this was the #10 service. It was dud Arriva NW&W 2500. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva NW&W Day Saver ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along Palmerston Street. We continued onto Wellington Road. We continued onto Henshall Road and we ran forwards onto Bollington Road we continued onto Tytherington Lane. We carried on up A538. We ran north through Tytherington. We turned left onto Marlborough Drive. We turned right onto Tytherington Drive. We turned right onto Brocklehurst Way. We turned left onto the A538. We turned right onto the A537. We turned left onto Churchill Way. We turned left onto the A536 and we ran into Sunderland Street where we saw MP Travel ME10 BUS. We turned left onto Queen Victoria and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw High Peak 296 on a #19 to Prestbury. We walked down MIll Street and we turned left onto Park Green. Matthew wanted to go to toilet so we took him to the toilet in the block by the traffic lights. Once he had done we walked onto park Green and we saw required Arriva NW&W 4406 on a #38 to Crewe. We went back to the car and mum was waiting for us with Greggs sausage rolls and a can of Irn Bru for Matthew. We set off out of town onto the A523. As we left town The Arriva bus turned right down a lane and went straight towards Bosley. We ran through Rushton Spencer and Rudyards and we came into the North West corner of Leek. We turned right into St Edwards Street. At the end of St Edwards Street. We papped and waved as we went through the light into Compton. We ran through Leekbrook and into Cheddleton. We continued through Wetley Rocks and we saw D&G Bus 118 on a #16 to Leek. We continued through Cellaread to Meir. At Meir we crossed over the roundabout onto the A520 and we turned right onto Waterhead Road. We continued onto Grosvenor Road. We ran through to Upper Belgrave Road. We down to Florence. Lightwood Road and into Longton to see what was parked at Z Carz tonight. We turned left onto Willow Row In the compound was Z Carz Volkswagen minibus LJ07 PXW parked up. We came off onto the high level A50 and we turned right onto Baths Road. We ran down King Street. We continued down onto City Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple street and we we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew returned to his room to chill out. For a late tea Matthew had chicken nuggets and chips with carrots followed by a carrots cake with custard. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Trip to Birkenhead & Liverpool 17-04-2011

Having had a week in respite, we promised to take Matthew to Birkenhead. We all slept in relatively late, so we did not set off today until 12:30. Picking Uncle Dave up on the way, we arrived in Birkenhead just before 14:00. First things first we had to eat. We went to Platters situated near the bus station. For 2 breakfasts and 2 sandwiches and drinks it came to around £17. Matthew, obsessed with shops and banks spotted a Yorkshire Bank branch with a nice cash machine, so he decided to take a picture.

After food we went to the bus station to see what was working. We asked Matthew if he wanted to go to Liverpool or New Brighton and surprisingly he chose Liverpool. This was his first visit to Liverpool and his first time through the tunnel. We hadn't done any research for this trip so i went to stand 7 to check Sunday service frequencies. Having just seen 2 or 3 different Arriva buses go to Liverpool, it wasn't surprising to see one service had 15 minute frequency to Liverpool so we decided to do the 437. he took a few pictures and we only had to wait about 10 minutes for the next 437, A short trip through the tunnel and we were in Liverpool. The bus stopped adjacent to St. John's Gardens and quite a few people stopped on. We stopped on because we thought we hadn't reached the end, and the others stopped on because we had! Eventually the driver shouted us down, and we inquired as to where to catch the return.

At first in Liverpool we went to the bottom of St Johns garden and sat on a white concrete podium, but 90% of the buses that went past were on the other side of a very wide road and obscured by a railing. After a few minutes we crossed the road and then installed ourselves in the triangle at the end of Victoria street. This wasn't too bad and we were able to get some pictures that weren't too bad. This part of Liverpool is quite difficult to get good bus pictures in sunny weather!

Eventually we crossed the road and sat near the bus stop on Victoria Street. The sun makes it very difficult to get a good picture here at this time of day. Eventuelly our ride back under the river appeared... Enviro 400 4407

A short trip back under the river and we were back in Birkenhead. We made a decision that we were going to go to New Bighton as we had seen a 'goldfish bowl' heading towards Clatterbridge and Matthew had indicated he wanted to ride on it. We had just missed the 36 past New Brighton and the next one was 57 past. Whilst waiting Matthew took several pictures. 60071 was on a #42 Mill Park service.

as went past on there near side new past an the far side heading towards Woodside. We guessed that this would be the next new Brighton service. We waited patiently and Matthew took more pictures. 60115 was on a #42 Woodchurch.

At this point mum called up saying she had finished shopping and was now waiting in the car. as we had just set off i said i would get off somewhere convenient and catch the next service back. unfortunately we passed another bus near Seacombe Ferry. we thought we would go 10 minutes further and then get off and cross the road and wait for a bus back. As we got off Matthew too another picture of this fine beast.

We crossed the road and the next bus back was a 423 Seacombe Ferry bus. As we did not know the route or timing we had to let it go. Matthew did get a picture of it as it passed and it was VDL bus 3005.

We weren't sure if the 411 back would be the same bus or a different one. When the bus did turn up it was the same! We walked back up to the bus station, met with mum and went back to the car for sausage rolls. We Filled up with LPG in Longport. We were back home before it went dark...Mark
