Trip to the Etruria Transport Rally 20-09-2026

Today Matthew was going to McDonalds and going around the bus garages. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we went to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we set off around 10:40. We got ready and went out in tne car to pick up uncle Dave just after 11:00. We set off through Blurton onto Finstock Avenue, right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We continued onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Afterwards we set off down Wheildon Road and forwards onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we ran around the one-way system. We turned right onto Campbell Place and left onto Hartshill Road. We ran to the edge of Newcastle and we ran down George Street. At the roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road and right onto the Northbound A34. We ran through Milehouse to Chesterton and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a cheeseburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke, and we shared some chicken nuggets. When we had finished we headed to the transport rally at Etruria to see if there was anything interesting in the yard. We got in the car and we set off down the A34. We ran through Milehouse and we turned left onto St Michaels Road and we ran forwards onto Wulstan Drive. We continued onto Sandy Lane and we crossed the A53 onto Albert Street. We turned left onto the A52 and at the roundabout we went forwards onto Shelton New Road. We turned left onto Castlefield Street and we parked up at the far end. We walked into the park past the site of the old gas cylinder and we walked down to the vintage cars. There were no buses at the event this year. We crossed over the canal to the car park and we saw silver minibus S18 WAD parked up.

We visited the toilets at Etruria Industrial Museum and afterwards we went into the tearoom. Matthew had a slice of cake and a can of coke which came to a very reasonable £1.70. We walked back to the car and we drove down Castlefield Street. We turned right onto Shelton New Road and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran through Stoke to Sideway and we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off at Longton and we turned left onto Baths Road. We passed Longton Interchnage and we turned right onto Market Street. We turned left onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill to Adderley Green. We turned right onto the A5272 and we turned right to go and look at the buses and coaches parked up at Scraggs. We saw recent arrival 449 GYN parked up in the yard.

We turned left onto the A5272 and left onto Anchor Road. We turned right omto Mossfield Drive and we drove to the far end. We got out of the car and we walked around the back of the D&G Bus garage. We saw D&G Bus 3014 parked up in the row.

We got back in the car and we drove to the other end of Mossfield Road and we parked in a small layby. We walked down the footpath over the site of the old Wass' market down to the Adderley Green garage. In the corner of the garage we saw First Potteries 63356 parked up. We walked onto the A5272 and we headed Eastwards. by the road over the hedge we saw First Potteries 63349. We walked around the side behind the garage. We saw First Potteries 67147 in the E200MMC row.

We walked past the pertol station onto Anchor Road and we turned right onto the path behind the depot. As we walked along the path of note was First Potteries 35949. We turned left over Wass's site footpath and we walked up the hill back to the car. We got in the car and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We set off along Mossfield Drive and we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran down the hill into Longton and we turned left onto Uttoxeter Road. We turned right onto Commerce Street and at the roundabout we turned right onto The Strand. We got out of the car and waited for a bus. We saw it was First Potteries 63103 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sitting down. The bus set off down The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and we to got up and got off the bus. We met up with uncle Dave and we got in the car. We set off down King Street and we turned left onto Duke Street. We joined the A50 link road up to Heron Cross and we joined the Westbound A50. We ran along Stanley Matthews Way and we passed D&G Bus 6009 on a #24 to Norton. As we approached the pub we saw D&G Bus 5221 on a #27A to Bentilee. We turned at the roundabout and we went back down Stanley Matthews Way. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we came off at Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road and left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we dropped off uncle Dave. We ran back up Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. At Heron Cross we turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed the A50. We ran through Blurton and at the roundabout we veered right onto Church Street and we turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. When we got back Matthew had a scotch egg and a can of Cherry Coke. For tea Matthew had steak slice, chips and beans. later on we continued eriting the Blog. Matthew had his medication and watched some adverts on YouTube. After a bath Matthew had some New York Cheesecake. We continued working on the Blog and watching YouTube until bedtime around 23:30... Later on Matthew went downstairs to do his shopping. We set of onto City Road. After crossing over the road we turned right into Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. Part way down Victoria Road. We turned left off Victoria Road and towards the supermarket. In Aldi Matthew picked up his weekly shopping and we got a lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto Manor Street and right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. He used his computer and watched buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left into Baker Street. We continued onto Glebedale Road and we went to the doctors. We returned to the residential unit along Baker Street and right onto Christchurch Street. We got in a car and we set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street. We went through the traffic lights and we turned left onto the A50. We ran through Longton. We turned left onto Baths Road. Matthew went to Tesco Extra. Once out of the taxi we walked through onto The Strand and went to the Cafe Delight. Matthew had a brunch washed down with a can of Coke. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67153 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. The bus set off down The Strand and we ran under the railway line onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. We continued down to Aldi and we did some shopping. After we had done the shopping we got a Lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off up Victoria Road. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. we went upstairs to his room and use his computer. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. On the way to the bus stop we saw First Potteries 63354 on a #11X to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching and we saw it was D&G Bus 6012 on a #1 to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We carried on along City Road and we continued forwards onto King Street and we passed through Foley We ran forwards into Longton. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over King Street and onto Transport Lane. We walked down The Strand and we under the railway line into Longton Transport Interchange. We looked at the bus time and we saw the first bus towards Stoke was to D&G Bus #1A service. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was D&G Bus 6009 on a #1A to Audley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. we set off out of the Interchange onto Baths Road and we turned left under the railway line onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC. As we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran down the hill towards Stoke. We went under the railway line and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of D&G Bus 6009 as it continued towards Audley.

We walked along City Road and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We got off the bus and we crossed obver the road to the stop opposite to wait for a #25 to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As soon as it cam into view we knew it was First Potteries 35939 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley. before we sat down. The bus set off out of Stoke town centre and across the A500. We crossed under the railway line before turning left onto the A52 to the left and we went forwards onto Station Road before turning right onto College Road. At the top off College Road we continued onto regent Road before turning left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed the ring road onto Bethesda Street and we turned right onto John Street. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Bagnall Street and we went past the town hall. We walked up Tontine Street and we turned right onto Parliament Street. We turned left onto Parliament Row and across Tontine Square and into the Intu Potteries shopping centre. We went to the first floor and Matthew visited Superdrug. Matthew brought some of his weekly shopping. Once we had finished we went out of the Shopping centre onto Stafford Street. We continued onto Lichfield Street and we went to the bus station. Matthew visited the toilet and we crossed over Lichfield Street. We called for a Lucky Seven taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off down Lichfield Street and over the ring road. We ran down to joiners Square and we went over the roundabout onto Victoria Road past Adsa and the B&M. We turned right onto Manor Street and we turned right onto City Road and we ran down the hill to Smithpool Road. We turned left and left again onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Matthew went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and right onto City Road. We walked past Philpots and at the roundabout we turned right into Burger King. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once we had finished eating we walked back along City Road. We walked up to Victoria place and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We walked down the hill to the park. In the park Matthew had a sit down and ate a washed down with a can of Coke. We left the park onto Beville Street and we turned left onto Victoria Road and we turned right onto Hitchman Street. We turned left onto Fountain Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a drink of orange. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right onto College Road and. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street. We ran up the hill into the bus station and onto stand. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Whilst we waited for a bus back to Fenton and Matthew visited the toilet. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 35942 on a #25 to Keele.

We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street onto Bethesda street where we crossed over the ring road and we ran down through Shelton along Cauldon Road and we turned left onto Station Road outside the railway station. We went forwards onto A52 and we followed the road around to the right and under the railway line. We crossed over the A500. We continued into Stoke centre along Church Street. We went out of the other side of Stoke and up Hartshill Road into Hartshill. We turned left into The Avenue and we ran down to Hilton Road and we turned right into the hospital where we saw Magnum PF64 RJJ. We ran through the hospital and we turned right onto the A34. We ran up to Newcastle and forwards onto Barracks Road at the roundabout. We came into the bus station onto Barracks Road we turned right onto Ryecroft. We veered left onto Merrial Street and after a brief stop we ran forwards onto Church Street. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto the A525. We turned right into Orme Road and we continued along Orme Road before we re-joined the Westbound A525. We climbed the steep hill up to Keele and we turned left into the campus. We turned left onto University Drive we did a u-turn and headed into the campus. At the main roundabout we turned left and we ran around the shops and student union bar. We ran through the campus past the back of the library and out the other side into the village. We got up and got off the bus. We crossed over The Village and walked past the fromer pub. Once off the bus we decided to go back to Hanley on the double decker. We let the bus that we had just arrived on go, and we waited for the next bus. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. AS it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35940 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before going upstairs and sitting down. We set off through the campus We turned right onto University Drive and we ran up to the entrance of the campus before turning right onto the A525. We ran down the hill and we crossed over the roundabout. We went past the scrapyards and we turned left onto Orme Road. We ran through the estate and to the end of the road. We turned left onto the A525 and at the roundabout onto the Southbound A34. We ran down two roundabout and we went left onto Barracks Road. We entered the bus station and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet. Once off the bus we set off onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we turned left into Church Street and we turned left onto Bridge Street and we went under the subway on to the A34. We turned left Castle Hill Road and we continued onto Knutton lane and we walked into the new building on Hall Street and we went upstairs. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy wash down with a bottle of Coke. After we crossed under the A34 and onto Bridge Street. We continued onto High Street and we turned left onto Hassell Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Stoke. AS short time later we saw it was First Potteries 63352 on a #39 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We ran up the hill into Hanley and we ran forwards onto Trinity Street. We turned right onto Stafford Street and we continued past the Albion and the town Hall and we ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We crossed over Lichfield Street and to the first bus stop. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off fown Lichfield Street. We continued down to towards Joiners Suare past the new Lidl. We ran forwards onto Victoria Road. and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road. We turned left onto Manor Street. We crossed over City Road and we went back to the residential unit. Matthew went to his room to chill out and use his computer. Once we were ready we went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop on City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. We continued to the stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Newcastle. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 63112 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto Campbell Place to wait for a bus to Trentham. A few minutes later we saw a bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 67181 on a #21 to Trentham.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Campbell Place and forwards onto London Road. We continued through Oakhill and past the former Oakhill pub. We ran into Trent Vale and at the end of London Road we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw RR Travel MM72 ZMY. We went into the pub and Matthew found a seat where he could see out of the window. Matthew had Sausage, egg beans and chips with bacon and 2 oatcakes washed down with a glass of Coke. for dessert Matthew had toffee sponge pudding and custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 35687 on a #101 to Stafford and EMED MC26 NKF heading Northwards. When he had finished eat Matthew set off onto the A34 and around the corner onto London Road to wait for the bus back towards Stoke. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67181 on a #21 to Hanley.

We set off along London Road and we ran through Oak Hill and the the West End before running into Stoke Town centre and Campbell Place. We continued around the one-way system onto Church Street and we turned right onto Shelton Old Road and we saw Travel Express HK75 ZTF parked up th the depot. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road and we ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we waited for a bus to Bentilee. A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. It was First Potteries 67176 on a #6 to Coalville.

We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and past the site new Lidl. We crossed over Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out. He used his computer and watched music videos on the Television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

When it was time to go out we went downstairs and onto Temple Street. We turned cut through onto City Road and we headed towards the bus stop. The traffic was unusually busy and the bus was a little late. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive We got up and got off the bus. We crossed over Chelmsford Drive and and we walked down the path onto Exeter Green. We crossed over Winchester Avenue onto Aylesbury Road and we walked onto Winslow Green. We turned left onto Ubberley Road and we crossed over Dawlish Drive and we headed over to the neighbourhood centre. After parking up we went in the centre. We got to the dentist. We went to have his teeth checked out. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had his twice yearly check up. when they had finished we walked down Dawlish Drive and to the first bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Bentilee. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67181 on a #11 to Hanley.

We set off along Dawlish Drive and at the end we turned left onto Beverley Drive and left onto the A5272 and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Bagnall Street and we walked past the Town Hall and we went forwards onto Old Hall Street and we went into B&M. Matthew brought some of his weekly shopping. Once we had paid for our shopping we walked out of the shop and forwards onto Tontine Street. We walked through Tontine Square onto Parliament Row. We stopped at Poundland and Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. After we had been to Poundland we stopped on Upper Market Square and We sat down and Matthew had a bottle of coke. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over Broad Street and we continued onto Marsh Street. At the lights we turned left onto Etruria Road past former Sainsbury's supermarket. Just before we got to the A53 onto Festival Way. We ran past former Autobrite Direct which is going to be converted into new pickleball sports centre. We turned left onto Shelton Boulevard and we turned right onto Forge Lane past the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford and we ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus. We walked out of the bus station. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67149 on a #22 to Longton.

We ran under the A500 into Hanford and we turned left onto Church Lane. We climbed to the top of the hill and we turned right onto Wilson Road. We turned left onto New Inn Lane and we ran into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Blurton. We passed the end of Stanley Matthew Way and we turned left onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and left onto Beaconsfield Drive and we ran through the estate to the other end. We turned left onto Church Road and at the the roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and we turned right onto Longton Hall Road. We ran up the hill and we ran forwards onto Heathcote Street. We turned left onto the high level A50 and at the roundabout we turned right onto Baths Road. We ran past Tesco before turning right into Longton Interchange and we got up and got off the bus. We walked over to Tesco and Matthew used the toilet. Once off we walked onto The Strand and we walked to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35947 on a #40 to Fenton.

After a brief stop we ran out onto Baths Road. We crossed over the A50 and we went straight onto Foley Road. At the end of the Road we turned right on Longton Hall Road. We climbed the hill and then went down into Blurton. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we climbed up the hill into Heron Cross. We crossed the A50 and at the traffic Light we turned left onto Grove Road. We continued into Mount Pleasant and onto Wheildon Road. We turned right by The Regent onto Smithpool Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked back to the residential unit. We set off along Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a ham sandwich and sausage rolls. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto City Road. We crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a Lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill. We turned right onto Manor Street and right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left again onto Temple Street. We went back to the back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled in his room. For dinnr Matthew had burger fries & coke from MacDonalds followed by a slice of cheesecake. Watch buses out of the window. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton and we sat down. We ran back down to the A520 and we headed through Meir and we turned right into Waterhead Road. We ran through to Upper Belgrave Road onto Lightwood Road and into Longton. We crossed over the A50 and we ran down The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road past the new petrol station and coffee shop. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked back to the residential unit. We set of around the corner onto City Road and and we turned right onto the road to the swimming session and afterwards we came out and we had an Intercity taxi back to the residential unit. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards Stafford. We ran through Tittensor to Darlaston and we continued down to the North end of Stone. We Veered left onto Newcastle Road and we ran into Stone town centre. After going around the one-way system and onto Stafford Road. We crossed over the A34 onto Eccleshall Road. We turned left onto Tilling Drive and we ran onto the industrial estate. We saw former Wolverhampton Council minibus WX07 UJT. We rejoined the A34 at the roundabout where the A51 goes Eastwards and we ran Southwards through the fast section on the A34 to the A513 roundabout. We ran the last couple of miles into town down the A34 onto Foregate Street and we turned right onto Chell Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked Westwards along Chell Road and we turned right onto Gaolgate Street. We continued through the Market Square and forwards onto Greengate Street. We stopped at a pub and Matthew had a chickenburger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a chocolate fudge cake and custard. when we had finished we walked down Greengate Street and forwards through Market Square onto Gaolgate Street. At the top end we turned right and into the bus station. We saw Select Bus 27 on a #6 to Rickerscots.

We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We left the A527 at Knypersley and up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked across the High Street and onto West Street. We turned left onto Kingsfield Road and left onto Lawton Street. We turned right onto Congleton Road and right onto Thames Drive and we stopped at the Leisure Centre. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. After the visited to the leisure centre Matthew returned to the bus station. We set off along Thames Drive and we turned left onto Congleton Road. When we had finished we said goodbye and we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off onto Stanier Street. When we returned to Fenton in a Intercity taxi. We set off along Stanier Road and we turned left onto Pool Side. We turned left onto Dunkirk and we turned right onto Knutton Lane. We around the roundabout and back onto the Ryecroft and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and we ran into Hartshill. We veered left onto Shelton New Road and we stopped briefly near to the old Gilberts furniture shop. We continued down Shelton New Road through the traffic lights and we turned right to join the Southbound A500. We stayed on the high level road and we came off the A500 at City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit.
