Today we decided to revisit Walsall. Matthew originally asked to go to Matlock, but mum needed to go somewhere that had more of a town today, so we vowed to go to Matlock some time in the near future. Research consisted of looking at where to park and checking the weather. The weather was for dry sunny and vey hot weather. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 09:30 and had crumpets. Later on Matthew had a small bottle of Irn Bru. After getting ready we got in the car and set off just before 12:00. We set off thr Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We turned right onto City Road so that we could joined the Southbound A500. We joined the Southbound A500 and we ran Southwards through Hanford down to the M6. We joined the Southbound M6 and we headed through Staffordshire. Travelling down the motorway we saw an unidentified white coach, an unidentified Jones coach, an unidentified Vale Travel coach, unidentified 2 x Loch Lomond coach, an unidentified the coachtravel group coach and an 2 unidentified Les Holland coach. We came off the M6 at junction 12 and we joined the Eastbound A5. We went for a couple of miles before stopping at the Truckers Rest truck stop. Matthew went to the toilet and mum ordered dinner for us. For dinner Matthew had a full English breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. We got back into the car and we re-joined the Eastbound A5 and we crossed the M6 Toll and joined the southbound A34. We ran through Landywood and Newtown and through Bloxwich past the former Royal Exchange pub which is going to be a convenience store. After going through the town centre we continued down the A34 and we crossed over the ring road in to Walsall. We ran onto Green Lane and we stopped at the council car park. We said goodbye to mum and we walked across the car park onto Stafford Street. We continued onto St Paul's Street and we saw National Express West Midlands 2139

We carried on towards the bus station and we saw National Express West Midlands E1141 on a #529 to Wolverhampton.

We got to the edge of the bus station and we saw National Express West Midlands 4870 on a #31 to Walsall.

We walked through the bus station and the middle section of the bus station was closed. Matthew seemed to know about this and he continued along St Paul's Street to the stands further in town as this seems to be where the buses were using from the middle stands. We saw Chaserider 538 on a #36 to Lichfield.

Further down St Paul's Street we saw it was National Express West Midlands 4860 on a #7 to Castlefort.

We waited for the bus to be readied for service. Whilst we waited Matthew made a friend. We got on the bus and we purchased a nBus Day ticket for £5.50 before we went upstairs. The rear of the top deck was empty so Matthew took a picture inside National Express West Midlands 4860 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

When it was departure time the bus set off out of the bus station and on to Hatherton Street and forwards onto Hatherton Road.We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we crossed over the roundabout. We continued up Lichfield Street and at the next roundabout we turned right onto Mellish Road. We ran forwards onto Aldridge Road and we ran out of town along a fast rural section of Road. We veered slight left onto Walsall Road and we ran North Eastwards through Pool Green. At the edge of the by-pass we turned right onto Portland Road and left onto Anchor Road. At the North end we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of National Express West Midlands 4860 as it continued towards Castlefort.

We got off a stop earlier than usual so that we could go to a different pub. We headed into the pub and we order drinks at the bar. Matthew had a glass of Coke and we sat at a table. When we had finished our drinks we headed out of the door and back to the same bus stop. We waited for the next bus. We had a chice of going to Bloxwich or Sutton Coldfield. We saw a minibus and I asked Matthew if he wanted to the bus and he said yes. As it got closer we saw it was Walsall Community Transport 21 on a #25 to Bloxwich.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus Day ticket to the driver before sitting down in the middle of this minibus. We set off Northwards up Anchor Road and at the roundabout we turned left onto the A454. We headed Westwards we ran through Stubber's Green into Shelfield. We crossed over the A461 and we ran forwards onto Mill Street. We turned right onto Broad Street and left onto Harrison Road. We turned right onto Spring Lane and left onto Church Way. We turned left onto Field Lane and we turned right to re-join Mill Road. We continued onto Fordbrook Lane and we followed the road around onto Vicarage Road. We turned right onto the B4154 and we ran into Pelsall. After a brief stop in the centre of Pelsall we continued Northwards up the B4154. We turned right onto Smithy Drive and left onto Gilpin Crescent. We turned right onto Lothians Road and left onto St Johns Road. We turned right onto St Pauls Crescent and we ran to the end. We turned left onto St Andrews Avenue and we an forwards onto Ryders Hayes Lane. We rejoined the Southbound B4154 and we ran into Pelsall before turning right onto the High Street. We turned left onto Highfield Road and we turned left onto the A4124. We turned left onto Shortlands Lane and right onto Paradise Lane. We turned right onto Mouse Lane and left onto Allenys lane. We headed towards Heath End and we turned right onto Goscote Road. We crossed over Rough Brook and we ran forwards onto Slacky Lane. We turned left onto Goscote Lane and we turned right onto Harden Road at the roundabout. We turned right onto Broadstone Avenue and left onto Chantry Avenue. We turned left onto Pinfold and we turned right onto Bloxwich High Street. I did not look at the Bustimes map so I did not look where the service terminated. We headed up the High Street and I expected the bus to terminate somewhere. When the bus left the centre of Bloxwich and we continued Northwards up the A34 I started to wonder where we would end up. We turned right onto Sanstone Road we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Walsall Community Transport 21 before it continued towards Kingstanding.

We headed back to the A34 and we walked Southwards. We crossed over the road to keep in the shade of the tall trees at the side of the road. We walked past the former pubs and we continued Southwards into the town centre. As we got into town we saw Walsall Community Transport 21 come past us heading Southwards. We went into a shop and we bought drinks and a chocolate bar. After we had left the shop we crossed the road and went into the Prominade Garden. We sat on a step and Matthew had his chocolate bar and a bottle of Coke. When we had finished we walked back onto the High Street and waited for a bus Southwards into Walsall. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it turned the corner we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2145 on a #31 to Walsall.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We deviated off the A34 onto Stafford Street and we ran the 2 or so miles into Walsall. We crossed over the A4148 and we saw an unidentified TNS minubs go past. We ran down onto St Pauls Street and we entered the bus station and we got up and got off. Once off the bus Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards we looked around for something to catch. A short time later we saw National Express West Midlands E1112 on a #529 to Wolverhampton.

There were a couple of buses on the top island so we went over to investigate. As we got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2013 on a #69 to Wolvrhampton.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out off the bus station and we ran along St Pauls Street. At the roundabout we ran onto Green Lane and we crossed over the ring road. We ran North for around a 1/2 mile and then we turned left onto Stephenson Avenue. We entered the Reedswood retail Park and we stopped outside Sainsbury's before we returned back onto the main road. We ran North along Stephenson Avenue and around the Beechdale housing estate. We turned left onto Stephenson Square and we ran do to Eddison Road. At the end we turned right onto Cavendish Road and we ran past a pub. We ran forwards onto Bentley lane and we crossed over the M6 and into New Invention and we got and got off the bus. We headed into the Co-op and we bought more drinks. We went outside and Matthew had a flapjack that we had brought with us in the trip bag. He also had some water. We headed to the bus stop to wait for another bus. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2025 on a #69 to Walsall.

We also past a garage that seemed to special in old trucks. We turned right onto Pooles Lane and we turned right onto Bloxwich Road North. We turned left onto High Road and we crossed over the Wyrley and Essington Canal before turning left onto Bentley Lane. We passed a development on the right hand side before crossing over the M6 motorway. We crossed over Bloxwich Lane and we an forwards onto Cavendish Road. We turned left onto Edison Road and we turned left onto Stephenson Square. We turned right onto Stephenson Avenue and we headed South into the Reedswood Retail Park where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of National Express West Midlands 2025 as it continued on a #69 to Walsall.

Once off the bus we headed into Sainsbury's. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we went into the shop and we bought a meal deal and a bottle of water. We went outside and before Matthew could start his chocolate bar we saw a bus come around the corner. As it go closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2135 on a #70 to Walsall.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the retail park and we went Eastbound along Stephonson Avenue. We turned right onto the Sourtbound A34 and we headed towards Walsall. On the way into town I got in touch with mum and she had moved to a Farmfoods on the way to Bloxwich. We crossed over the ring Road and we continued along Green Lane. We ran onto St Pauls Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we looked for a bus towards Bloxwich. I looked at the stand for the #31 & #32 and it was empty. Matthew reminded me that we could always do a X51. We turned to see a bus on stand. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 6729 on a X51 to Cannock.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out bus station and we headed Northwards up St Pauls Street. We ran forwards onto Stafford Street and we crossed over the ring road. We ran forwards onto the B4210. We crossed over the Wyrley and Essington Canal and over the railway line. Just after Leamore Lane we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked onto the car park at Farmfoods and we got in the car. Matthew had a chocolate ice cream sandwich. We set off onto the A34 and we turned right onto Leamore Lane. We stopped in the car park and I went to the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy and a can of Vimto. When I had finished eating we set off onto Leamore Lane and we turned left onto the B4210. We crossed the A34 and we continued up the B4210 avoiding Bloxwich High Street. We ran through Mossley and Springhill and we turned right onto the A462. We continued Northwards for about a mile and we joined the Northbound M6. We ran Northwards into Staffordshire. As we travelled Northwards we saw x2 unidentified Major Coachways coaches and x2 unidentified Johnsons (Henley-in-Arden) coaches. We came off the M6 at junction 15 and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran through Hanford and Sideway and we came off at Stoke. We turned right onto City Road and right onto Wheildon Road. We stopped at uncle Dave's and we dropped him off. We said goodbye to uncle Dave and we set off to Blurton. we set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we saw Stanton's of Stoke 784 RBF. We got back around 19:00. Matthew had cake and custard and we worked on the Blog. Later on Matthew had a Cherry Coke and an ice pop. We sent an E-mail and edited some photos. Matthew chilled out on his computer until bedtime at 00:30... Mark

Today was the second day ot our West Midlands adventure. The plan for today was to get a few more buses in to make up for yesterdays shorter bus bashing session, and then to retturn to Blurton. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. He went back to sleep for a short while, and Matthew was up and dressed for just before 09:00. We headed into the bar for breakfast. Matthew had a full English breakfast. After we had finished eating we returned to the room to finish off packing. Matthew finished off a bottle of Fanta Orange that we had started last night. We took the stuff to the car and just before 10:00 we set off out of the hotel car park. We decided to have another foray into the West Midlands as there were plenty of buses running on a Sunday. We made the decision to start today at Walsall. We turned left onto the B5404 and we headed Westwards into Mile Oak. We continued along the old Roman road to Weeford Interchange and we joined the Westbound A5. We continued Westwards along the A5 to Muckley Corner and we joined the A461. We coninued through Walsall Wood past the former Royal Exchange pub, wher an Aldi id going to be built. We ran through Shelfield and Rushall an into Walsall. We ran forwards onto Lower Rushall Street and we continued onto Upper Rushall Street. We continued onto Peal Street and forwards onto Dudley Street. We ran forwards onto Vicarage Place and right onto Bradford Street. We past the second bus station and and we veered left onto Bridgeman Street. We parked up at the retail park and we said goodby to mum. We set off on foot along Bridgeman Street and forwards onto Bradford Street. We turned left onto Park Street and we turned right onto St Pauls Street. As we approached the bus station and we saw Rotala Diamond 30926 on a #31 to Mossley.

We turned right onto Stafford Street and we crossed the A4148 and we turned right onto Forest Lane. We turned right onto Webster Road and left onto Rutland Street. We crossed over the railway line and we turned left onto Beddows Lane. We turned right onto Lavender Grove and left onto Dartmouth Close. We turned right onto Dartmouth Avenue and we headed Eastwards. We continued onto Coalpool Lane and left onto Harden Road. We turned right onto Walker Road and we headed Northwards. We turned right onto Well Lane and we turned left onto Goscote Lane. We turned left onto Thames Road and forwards onto Barracks Lane. We turned right onto Walker Road and we turned left onto Blakenhall Lane. We turned right onto Blakenhall Heath and left onto Ingram Road. We considered going to the nearest pub but it was closed. We crossed over the road and we headed along Wolverhampton Road to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we went to the bar and ordered drinks. We had a small glass of Coke and we sat down and watched some of the T20 Women's cricket on the TV. When we had finished our drinks we walked along Wolverhampton Road and we crossed over to the bus stop. We waited for a few minutes and a bus appeared from around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2128 on a #31 to Walsall.

We deviated off the A34 onto Stafford Street and we ran the 2 or so miles into Walsall. We crossed over the A4148 and we ran down onto St Pauls Street and we entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we looked for something we could catch quickly. Across the bus station we saw an interesting looking double deck. As we got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 4866 on a #10 to Brownhill West.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto Hatherton Street. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ringroad onto the A461. We headed out of town and we ran through Rushall and Shelfield. We continued up to Walsall Wood and we turned left onto the B4152. We turned left onto the A452 and we crossed over the Wyrley and Essington Canal. We headed up the High Street and when we got to the Northern end we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of National Express West Midlands 4866 as it continued towards Brownhills West.

Once off the bridge we walked up the high Street to the roundabout. We stopped briefly for uncle dave to get a picture of the Jiggerman statue in the roundabout. We continued around the corner onto Silver Street and we headed into Tesco. The is a new coffee shop inside of Tesco. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we went bought a meal deal. We came out of the shop and we crossed over silver Street and we sat by the canal. We shared a ham sandwich and a Twirl, and Matthew had a bottle of Coke. When we had finished we crossed over Silver Street and we cut through the car park past Aldi and onto the High Street. We crossed over the road and we waited for a bus back to Walsall. We got to the stop and we had about 8 minutes to wait. A few minutes later we saw the bus come around the corner onto the Roundabout. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 6718 on a #10 to Walsall. We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver for the final time today before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along the A452 and we headed along the High Street. We continued down the High Street and over the canal and we turned right onto the B4152. We ran to into Walsall Wood and we turned right on to the A461. We ran through Shelfield and Rushall and we ran into Walsall. We crossed the ring road and we ran forwards onto Lichfield Street. We continued onto Bridge Street and we ran forwards onto St Pauls Street. We ran around the bus station and we entered from the North Eastern corner. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of National Express West Midlands 6718 before it worked a #41 to Willenhall.

We walked up St Pauls Street and we turned left onto Crown Wharf Shopping Park where mum had moved the car to. We met up with mum and we decided to go for dinner. We walked over to Burger King and Matthew went to the toilet. We order the food and after a short wait, Matthew had a burger, fried and a drink of Coke. Afterwards he had a small pece of salted caramel cheesecake. When we had finished eating we got in the car. After paying for parking we headed out of the car park. We turned left onto A4148 and we ran forwards onto the A454. We ran for 1/2 a mile and we turned right onto the Northbound M6. We ran Northwards into Staffordshire. As we travelled Northwards we saw 4 Sky Coaches vehicles a Dartline coach. We came off the M6 at junction 15 and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran through Hanford and Sideway and we came off at Stoke. We turned right onto City Road and right onto Wheildon Road. We stopped at uncle Dave's and Matthew went into use the toilet. Matthew had some of uncle Rob's Fanta an we updated the calendar with this weekends trip. We said goodbye to uncle Dave and we set off to Blurton. we set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we got back around 15:00. We got back to the house and we had a Scotch egg. Matthew also helped mum to set up her phone, as her previous phone needs to be repeired after being dropped in the toilet. We bouught in the cases and we did some laundry. We updated the Blog and afterwards Matthew watched YouTube. Later on Matthew had his medication before having a bath. After his bath Matthew had a couple of Angel Slices. For supper Matthew had a sardine and tomato paste sandwich. We continued with the Blog and Matthew went to bed around 00:00... Mark.

Today we decided to go to Cannock. We had seen the weather warnings for storm Darragh so we wnated to go somewhere close to home. We didn't pick until Saturday morning and appart from looking at the weather we did no research. Matthew got up around 10:30 and had toast and apple juice for breakfast. We got ready to go out and we left arounbd 11:50. We set off thr Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We turned right onto City Road so that we could joined the Southbound A500. Whilst we waited to joined the A500 we saw former Shelton Care Group minibus DY08 FFX going the other way. We joined the Southbound A500 and we ran Southwards through Hanford down to the M6. We joined the Southbound M6 and we headed through Staffordshire. We came off the M6 at junction 12 and we joined the Eastbound A5. We went for a couple of miles before stopping at the Truckers Rest truck stop. Matthew went to the toilet and mum ordered dinner for us. For dinner Matthew had a full English breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we headed out to the car park and we saw GJG Travel MC19 MMX parked up outside.

We got back into the car and we re-joined the Eastbound A5. Just before we got to the A4601 we turned left onto the A4601 and we headed Northwards into town. We ran forwards onto the A34 and we ran past the bus station. We pulled up next to the bus station and we said goodbye to mum before heading into the bus station. On the way in we saw Chaserider 198 on a #74 to Stafford.

We headed into the shopping centre and Matthew went to the toilet. Once we had finished we came out and had a look around to see what we might catch. We saw a bus on the bottom standing heading inti the West Midlands. As we got closer we saw it was Chaserider 498 on a #70 to Wolverhampton.

We got on the bus and we booked to singles to Wolverhampton at £2 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned around at the roundabout and we went Eastwards along the A34. At the roundabout we turned left onto the B5012 and we ran through Dartmouth Road. We turned right onto Hatherton Road and we turned left onto Gorsey Lane. We turned left onto Oaks Drive and we ran North Eastwards through Bideford Way and we turned left onto Ascot Drive. We turned right onto Longford Road and we turned right onto Delta Way. We turned left onto the A5 and we turned right onto Walkmill Lane and we ran forwards onto Mill Lane and we ran forwards onto Coppice Lane and we ran through Cheslyn Hay. We turned right onto the B4156 and and we turned right onto High Street and we turned left onto onto Wolverhampton Road. We turned right onto the A462 and we ran forwards onto the A460 and we ran through Shareshill. We turned right onto New Road and we turned left onto onto Baneberry Drive and we turned left onto onto Turnstone Drive. We turned right onto New Road and we turned left onto onto Baneberry Drive and we turned left onto onto Brookhouse Lane and we continued onto The Avenue. We turned right onto the A460 and we headed up to Westcroft. We ran up the hill and into Underhill and past the fromer Berry Brook Farm pub. We ran down the hill into The Scotlands and we got up and got off the bus. We had a walk around to see what we might catch. We saw Veezu SG74 LKU. As we got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 835 on a #11 to Wolverhampton.

We got on the bus and we booked nBus day tickets at £4.80 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Cannock Road and we crossed under both railway lines. We passed nearby to the railway line and we ran forwards onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and we turned left onto a special bus lane that runs alongside the inside of the ring road contraflow to the traffic. We then emerged from the cutting at the entrance of the bus station. We got up and we got off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We came out of the toilet and we saw Woods Coaches 380 on a #210 service to Gatwick Airport.

We had a look around for something to catch. Matthew noticed there was a #9 to Bridgenorth due. We waited at the stand for around 10 minutes and the bus appeared. As it arrived on stand we sw it was dud Arriva Midlands 3792 on a #9 to Bridgnorth.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus ticket to the driver. The bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside Arriva Midlands 3792 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

This is a bus that we first had back in March 2023 from Telford to Oakengates on a #6 service. The emergency door open alarm was going off, so the driver attempted to silence the alarm by opening and closing all the door but to no avail. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto the ring road we came back inside the town along Broad Street and we turned right into princes square and left into Lichfield Street. We ran out of town stopping on Lichfield street and Darlington Street and we crossed the ring road onto Chapel Ash. We continued West along the A454 and road very quickly became rural. About 2 miles West of the ring road we came into village of Compton. As we approached the main junction we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of Arriva Midlands 3792 before it continued on towards Bridgnorth.

Once off the bus we walked into the pub on the corner and Matthew went to the toilet and I went to the bar to order drinks. Mathew had a glass of Coke and we sat down in the main seating area. When we had finished we went outside and we crossed over Bridgenorth Road and headed to the bus stop. It was raining and the wind was blowing hard so we huddled in the bus shelter to wait for a bus back to Wolverhamptom. There should have been an Arriva Midlands bus first but it must have been running late. A few minutes later we saw a bus turn the corner. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2006 on a #10 to Wolverhampton.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We ran back into town down the A454 and passed the Harley Davidson Shop on Chapel Ash. We crossed the ring road onto Salop Street and we ran forwards onto Cleveland Street. We turned left onto Garrick Street and we then turned right onto Bilston Street. We ran past the police station and onto the ring road and then enter the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus Matthew indicated that he wanted to have another drink. We walked across the road to the premier shop and we bought some chocolate bars and a bottle of Coke. We crossed back over to the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Walsall. We formulated a plan to meet up with mum in Bloxwich. Whilst we waited we saw National Express West Midlands 2077 on a #82 to Dudley.

Whilst we waited Matthew ate some Cadbury's Snack which had just bought from the shop. A few minutes later a bus came on stand. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 6792 on a #529 to Walsall.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station. We left towards the tram station and we crossed over the ring road and onto the A454 and we ran through Monmore. We continued into Moseley and we Northwards into Portobello. We ran through Willenhall and we walked past thre former HSBC Bank. We ran through Bentley and out the other side and down into Reedswood. We travelled through Pleck and over Walsall and we ran forwards onto the A4148. We turned right onto Wolverhampton Street and we ran past the Crown Wharf Shopping Park. We ran forwards onto Townend Street and we crossed the roundabout into St Paul's Street and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We decided to have a qiuick walk around and take a few picture before we caught something up to Bloxwich. We saw APP Carz AV11 UFZ stopped outside the bus station on St Pauls Street.

We walked back to the bus station just as a driver was getting a bus ready for service. As we got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2132 on a #31 to Mossley.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We messaged mum to tell her to set off and meet us at Bloxwich. The bus set off out of the bus station and we went North up Stafford Street. We crossed over the A4148 continuing North up Stafford Street and we ran the 2 miles or so up to Bloxwich. When we got to town we went up the High Street and we turned left onto Wolverhampton Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked down Wolverhampton Road and we crossed over the High Street and we went into the pub. Matthew went to the toi;et and afterwards we had a can of Coke. Mum called to say she was outside so we went outside to the car. Mum needed to drop something off at work so we headed up to Brownhills. We turned around and we headed North up Park Road. We turned right and we headed Eastwards aklong the A4124. We ran through Pelsall and over the Wyrley and Essington Canal and we headed to the roundabout at the top of Brownhills. We crossed over the roundabout onto the B4155 and we turned right onto Great Charles Street. We stopped for a few minutes near to mums work and Matthew had the bakewell tart we bougt at the Truck Stop Cafe earlier. When mum was ready to go we headed home via the chip shop. We turned left onto the Sadler Road and left onto the B4155. We stopped at the chip shop and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. After I had finished eating we set off along the B4155 and we turned right onto the A452. At the roundabout we joined the Westbound A5. We ran to the bottom of Cannock and we joined the Westbound A460. We ran to the south of Cannock and we joined the Northbound M6. As we battled our way Northwards through the winds and we rain we saw an unidentified Bruce's Coaches BF21 CZV(#590) and Woods Coaches 335(#120). We came off the M6 at junction 15 and we joined the Northbound A500. We came off at Stoke and we turned right onto Wheildon Road. We stopped at uncle Dave's house and dropped uncle Dave off. We got back in the car and we set off for Blurton. We set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 19:40. Matthew chilled out on his computer. Matthew had his medication and we did some of the Blog. We also wrote a few emails and generally used the computer to entertain ourselves. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. Today we decided to revisit Cannock. There was an issue with the main car, so we decided to stay fairly local. It was also the same today that Copeland's Tours ran a trip to Leicester. Research consisted of checking the National Express West Midlands bus ticket prices and local at the weather. The weather was forecast for rain all afternoon. Matthew got up around 09:00 and had toast for breakfast. We got reasy and we set off around 12:00 to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we we around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we stopped at Sainsbury's to put diesel in the car. Once we had filled up with diesel we set off onto London Road and we conrinued onto the one-way system. We turned left onto Church Street and right onto Liverpool Road. We veered right onto Eleanor Street and right onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we turned left onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 before joining the Southbound A500. We ran to the end and we joined the Southbound M6. Seen on the M6 were taxi minibus SF16 XWV, blue minibus FN66 YWP, an unidentified NX liveries coach on a Northboud #120 service, white minibus HX12 HHY, an unidentified white coach and ERS Medical FJ21 HGK. We came off the M6 at junction 12 and we headed Eastwards towards Cannock. We stopped at The Truckers Rest truck stop and Matthew went to the toilet whilst mum ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we got back into the car and and we set off onto the Eastbound A5. At the roundabout we turned left at the A4601 and we ran into Cannock towards centre. At the edge of town we forwards onto the ringway. We went past the bus station and we did a 180' turn at the roundabout before parking up at Beechcroft Road car park. We walked across to the bus station and we took a few bus pictures. We saw Chaserider 542 on a #60 to Lichfield.

A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 6738 on a X51 to Birmingham.

We got on the bus and we booked National Express Daysaver tickets for £4.50 each. We went upstairs, and as the rear of the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside National Express West Midlands 6738.

We set off out of the bus station and we turned around at the roundabout and we went Eastwards along the A34. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A5190. We past the railway station and at the McArthur Glen Shopping Centre we turned left onto The Northbound A460. We veered left into the retail park and pulled into the bus stop and we returned back Southwards down the A460. We turned left onto Votager Drive and we entered the Orbital Retail Park. We followed Voyager Drive to the left and we turned left onto Orbital Way. We rejoined the Southbound A460 and we crossed over the M6 toll road onto the A34. We turned right onto Hilton Lane and we turned left onto Gorsey Lane. At the roundabout we turned left onto Holly Lane and at the end we turned right onto the A34. We Headed Southwards for a mile or so before turning right onto right onto Turnberry Road and we ran past the pub One Man and his Dog. We turned left onto the B4210 next to Bloxwich North railway station and we travelled Southwards. We turned left onto the A4124 by the Sir Robert Peel pub and we turned right onto Sand Bank. We followed the road around to the left onto Wolverhampton Road and we turned right onto Bloxwich High Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a walk around to see what we could catch. We left the A34 and we walked onto Park Road. We saw Walsall Community Transport YX13 BVW on a #25 to Kingstanding.

Afterwards we walked back onto the A34 to wait for a bus towards Walsall. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. It was National Express West Midlands 2132 on a #31 to Walsall.

We deviated off the A34 onto Stafford Street and we ran the 2 or so miles into Walsall. We crossed over the A4148 and we saw an unidentified TNS minubs go past. We ran down onto St Pauls Street and we entered the bus station and we got up and got off. Once off the bus Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards we looked around for something to catch. A short time later we saw a bus heading towards Birmingham. We saw it was Narional Express West Midlands 6736 on a #997 to Birmingham.

When it was departure time the bus set off out of the bus station and on to Hatherton Street and forwards onto Hatherton Road.We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we turned left at the roundabout. We ran Northwards along Lichfield Road and we ran through Rushall. We turned right onto the B4154 and we came into Daw End and we turned left onto Redhouse Lane and we ran North Eastwards until we reached Walsall Road. We continued onto Aldridge bypass and we ran to the West of the town centre before turning right at the roundabout onto Anchor Road and into the town centre. We ran back onto the Aldridge Bypass and we veered left onto Birmingham Road. We turned left onto the B4154 and we headed Eastwards. The road curved around to the South and at Barr Beacon crossroad we turned left. We turned right onto Aldridge Road and at Queeslet we turned right onto the A4041. We passed the former the Buffet Island site which is going to be a new McDonald's. We turned right onto Collingwood Drive and left onto the B4154. Once we let the bus go we walked Northwards up Aldridge Road and we crossed over Dyas Road before stopping at a shop to buy chcolate and a drink. We also brought a jelly snake. We paid for the stuff and Matthew ate the jelly snake and we crossed over the road to wait at the Northbound bus stop. Whilst we weaited for our bus we saw National Express West Midlands 1866 on a #28 to Heartlands Hospital.

We turned left onto Old Oscott Lane and left onto Oscott School Lane. We turned left onto Shady Lane and right onto Aldridge Road. We crossed the A4041 and we headed Northwards onto Beacon Road and at the roundabout we turned right onto Collingwood Drive. We turned left onto Hillingford Avenue and forwards onto Frampton Way. We turned right onto Doe Bank Lane and at the end we turned left onto the A4041. At the next roundabout we turned left onto Aldridge Road. We turned left onto the B4151 and at the next roundabout at at the next roundabout we turned right onto the B4154. We ran Northwards for around 1/4 of a mile and we turned left onto Barr Common Road. At the next junction we veered right onto Birmingham Road up to Pool Green. We turned right onto the A454 and we turned right into Portland Road. We veered left onto Anchor Road and we stopped in Aldridge town centre where we got up and got off the bus. We set off along Anchor Road and we ran forwards onto Portland Road. We turned left onto the A454 and we ran South-Westwards towards Walsall. After a couple of miles we turned left onto the A461 and we headed Southwards. We crossed the A4148 and we ran forwards onto Lichfield Street. We continued onto Bridge Street and we followed the road around onto St Pauls Street where the bus terminated. We got up and got off the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we ran past the Crown Wharf shopping centre along Wolverhampton Street. We ran forwards on to the A454 and we ran the 1/2 mile where we got up and got off the bus. We had just missed the X51 so we decided to go to Bloxwich and break the journey. We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. Once again we didn't realise it was a dud bus until we got on it. The bus set off out of the bus station and we went North up Stafford Street. We crossed over the A4148 continuing North up Stafford Street and we ran the 2 miles or so up to Bloxwich. When we got to town we went up the High Street and we turned left onto Wolverhampton Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a bout a 20 minutes wait or so we decided to visit the spotted cow, Matthew went the toilet and afterwards had a can of Coke which we took outside to drink. A short time later the bus came around the corner. We saw it was National Express West Midlands 6740 on a X51 to Cannock.

We got on the bus and we flasjed the nBus day tickets to the driver for the final time today before we went upstaits and sat down. We continued onto Sand Bank and we turned left onto Bell Lane. We re-joined the Northbound B4210 and we headed past Bloxwich North railway station. We turned right onto Turnberry Way and we ran to the end. We turned left onto the Northbound A34 and we headed up to Landywood. We turned left onto Holly Lane we turned right onto Gorsey Lane. We turned right onto Hilton Lane and then left onto the Northbound A34. We crossed the M6 toll and we ran Northwards up the A460. We turned right onto Votager Drive and we entered the Orbital Retail Park. We followed Voyager Drive to the left and we turned left onto Orbital Way. We rejoined the Northbound A460 and we ran up to the McArthur Glen retail outlet village. After looping around to the stops for McArthurs Glen we rejoined the Southbound A460. We turned right onto the A5190 and we ran to the edge of the town centre. We went Westwards onto the ringway and at the roundabout we turned left onto the A34 before turning left into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of National Express West Midlands 6740 before it returned to Birmingham.

Once off the bus we called mum to see where she was. She had a flat battery in the car and she was parked by The Range. We set off on foot around the ringway and we turned left onto the A34. We got part way down the hill and we spotted mum mum driving up the hill as she had managed to get a jump start. We got in the car and we turned around and headed Southwards onto the A34. Matthew had a can of Irn Bru. We joined the Westbound A460 and we headed towads the motorway. I needed to look on my phone to reset the car radio. We decided to pull over inti a layby and there just happened to be a minibus there. It was Five Star Cars YB19 EJD.

Car Radio reset we carried on along the A460 before joining the Northbound M6. We came off at junction 12 and we went Westwards along the A5 before turning right onto the A449. We ran Northwards to Penkridge before stopping in the car park in the town centre. I went to the chip shop and fetched chips. Matthew had sausage, chips and gravy. When we had finished eating we continued Northwards up the A449. We ran up to the motorway and we joined the Northbound M6 at junction 13. As we travlled Northwards up the motorway it was dark and we passed wuite a few coaches including WMAS YJ21 GWX, an unidentified Major Coachways coach and an unidentifeid Atlantic Coaches coach. We came of the motorway at junction 15 and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran through Hanford up to Stoke and we came off the A500. We turned right onto City Road and right again to go Southwards onto the A500. We veered left onto Wheildon Road and we went to uncle Dave's. We dropped off uncle Dave and Matthew got out to use the toilet. Once we had dropped off uncle Dave we set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub which is now up for sale. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 20:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we did some of the Blog. We also wrote a few emails and generally used the computer to entertain ourselves. We watched TV and Matthew got ready for bed.
