Today Matthew wanted to return to Wolverhampton. He had messaged in the week and mentioned Wolverhampton and when asked on Friday night he mentioned Wolverhampton again. No research for the trip was done other than to check the weather. The weather was forecast to be warm for the time of year with some sunshine. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We got ready to go out and we got in the car just before 12:00. We set off through Blurton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Street and as we reached the mini roundabout we saw Paul's of Stoke double decker BU26 WTN heading towards the BET365 stadium for the early kick-off game against Sheffield United. We ran down wheidon and we hit some traffic due to the football. We crossed the A50 and we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we stopped to pick up uncle Dave. We continued down Wheildon Road and we turned right. We joined the Southbound A500 and we head through Hanford to Hanchurch and we joined the Southbound M6. As we travelled down the M6 we saw an unidentified FlixBus coach. Mum wasn't feeling very well so we stopped at Stafford Services so she could get out of the car and stretch her leg. Me and Matthew walked past the building as we saw a couple of coaches parked up. We saw Alfa A143 at the services.

We walked back to the car and we decided to go to Stafford so we were closer to home. We continued down the M6 and we saw an unidentified Tamer Coaches coach. We came off the M6 at junction 14, and we headed up the A34 link Road near to the new petrol station on the Eccleshall Road. We turned left onto the A34 and we ran the last couple of miles into Stafford. We turned right onto Chell Road and left onto Broad Street. We parked in the car park by the old Wilko which is currently being demolished! We said goodbye to mum and we walked along Broad Street to the cafe. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered the food. Matthew had a small breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we turned right onto Stafford Street and we turned left onto Gaolgate Street. We walked around the coner and went to the Gaol Square bus station. Matthew indicated that he wanted to get a bus towards Wolverhampton, which was due in a few minutes. Whilst we waited we saw Chaserider 163 on a #827 to Wildwood.

Also seen was Select Bus 35 on a #9 to Highfields. A few minutes later we saw our bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Select Bus 37 on a #876 to Wolverhampton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Wolverhampton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Chell Road. We turned left onto Broad Street and right onto Earl Street past the site of the former market. We contin ued onto Watter Street and we turned left onto Mill Bank. We turned right onto Bridge Street and we crossed over the roundabout onto the A449. We crossed over the railway line and we turned right onto John Amery Drive. We continued onto Burton Bank Lane and we turned left onto the Northbound A449. We turned left onto Churchill Way and we turned right onto Burton Bank Lane. We turned rightonto the A449 and we headed Southwards. We crossed over the railway line and we headed under the M6 at the junction 13 roundabout. We continued Southwards for a few miles and we ran into Penkridge past a new development. We crossed over the river Penk and into the town centre. After a brief stop we continued down the A449 for a few more miles before we took a diversion. We turned right onto the A5 and we turned left onto Ivy House Lane. We turned left onto Engleton Lane and we ran into Brewood. We turned left onto Crestwood Park and we turned right onto Deansfield Road. We ran into the cente of Brewood and we turned left onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto Sandy Lane and we continued onto The Pavement. We turned left onto Coven Road and we ran forwards onto Brewood Road. We ran through the village and we turned right onto the Southbound A449. We ran under the M54 and we ran through Coven Heath past a former pub and chinese restaurant. We ran tbhrough Oxley and into the centre of Wolverhampton. We stopped outside the university were we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Select Bus 37 before it returned North with a #876 to the Rockhouse estate.

Once of the bus had departed we set off along Stafford Street and we veered left onto Lichfield Street. We saw National Express West Midlands 4882 on a #1 to Tettenhall.

When we got near to the bus station Matthew turned right onto Queen Street and he took me to the dessert shop. Matthew had a slice of red velvet cheesecake washed down with a cherry cola lemonade. when we had finished Matthew went to the toilet. We went outside and met up with uncle Dave. We walked along Queen Street to the bus station and we headed straight up the middle island. As we got there we saw a bus we fancied catching. We saw it was National Express West Midlands 5416 on a #2 to Bushbury Hill.

We got on the bus and we bought nBus Day tickets at £5.50 each before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto the A4150. We turned left onto Broad Street and we turned right onto Stafford Street. We ran under the A449 and we turned right onto the A460 crossed over the railway line and we turned left onto Park Lane. We turned right onto First Avenue and we turned left onto Showell Circus. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of National Express West Midlands 5416 before it carried on towards Bushbury Hill.

Once off the bus we crossed over the large roundabout to the shops on the opposite side. We went in a bought drinks for us all as well as a couple of chocolate bars and a flapjack. We came outside and we sat at the bus stop to wait for the bus back towards Wolverhampton. Whilst we waited Matthew ate a Freddo. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 4894 on a #2 to Warstones.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Showell Circus and we ran forwards onto First Avenue. We turned left onto Park Lane and we ran past the bus garage. We turned right onto the A460 and when we reached the railway bridge we got up and got off the bus. I had planned on crossing the road and catching the bus North to Cannock. Before we could crossed the road saw saw another bus heading into Wolverhampton. As it got closer we saw it was Lets Go! 23 on a #11 to Wolverhampton.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down the A460 and we ran under the main line and joined the Southbound A449. We crossed over the ring road and we ran forwards onto Stafford Street and we saw Chaserider 65 on a #70 to Cannock. We turned left onto Broad Street and we turned right knto the dedicated lane on the rind road that took us into the bus station. We arrived in the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We left the bus station and we headed into the nearby pub. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered the drinks. We sat down and we had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we headed back to the bus station and we looked for something to catch. We saw National Express West Midlands E1139 which was on layover in between runs on the #59 service.

Matthew was looking to go in a different direction. We saw a bus come on stand and it was Chaserider 639 on a #25 to Pendeford. We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Pipers Row. We turned left onto Bilston Street and we ran around the Bilston Island roundabout and back into town. We turned left onto St George's Parade and left into Snow Hill. We turned right onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Worcester Street. We crossed the roundabout and we headed Southwards on the A449. We turned left onto the B4161 and we joined the eastbound A4039. We turned rihght onto Ednam Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took a picture of Chaserider 639 as it continued towards Pendeford.

As we got off the bus we missed Rotala Diamond 32323 on a #27A to Wolverhampton. We realised that we could not get back for the 16:55 to Cannock and the following bus would not get us back to Stafford until nearly 20:00! We decided to get back to Wolverhampton and catch something North so that mum would not have as far to drive to come and pick us up. We waited for the next bus into town. As= short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Chaserider 5214 on a #25 to Wolverhampton.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Ednam Road and we turned left onto the A4039. We turned right onto the Northbound A449 and we headed into town. We ran forwards onto School Street and we turned right onto Pitt Street. We turned left onto Worcetser Street and we turned right onto Cleveland Street. We turned left onto Garrick Street and we turned right onto Bilston Street. We turned left onto the A4150 and we entered the bus station from the South Eastern corner. Once off the bus we headed to the middle island. We saw Arriva Midlands 3798 parked up on layover.

We saw that there was a bus to Fordhouses due, wich terminated just off the A449 and would be easy for mum to come and meet us. We let her know the plan and we waited for the bus. Whilst we waited Matthew had the flapjack that we had bought earlier. A short time later the bus appeared in the bus station. As it got closer we saw it was Rotala Diamond 15021 on a #65 to Fordhouses.

We waited for the bus to be readied for service. A few minutes later we got on the bus and we flashed the nBus Day ticket to the driver for the final time today, The bus was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside Rotala Diamond 15021 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

We set off out of the bus station and we joined the Northbound A4150. We turned right onto the A4124 and we headed Eastwards out of Wolverhampton. We veered left onto Wolverhampton Road and we turned left into New Cross hospital. We turned right onto Wolverhampton Road and we turned left onto the A4124. We turned left onto Bentley Bridge Way past the retail park along Kenmare Way. We continued onto Wells Lane and we turned right onto High Street. We continued onto Lichfield Road and we ran forwards onto the B4484. We turned left to follow the B4484 and we turned right onto Bellamy Lane. We turned left onto Wood End Road and we headed Northwards. We turned left onto Lower Prestwood Road and we turned right onto Blackwood Avenue. We crossed the B4156 and we ran forwards onto Belton Avenue. We crossed the A460 near to the former Berry Brook Farm pub which may re-open along side a new convenience store, and we ran forwards onto Underhill Lane. We turned left onto Bushbury Lane and we turned right onto Hellier Road. We turned right onto Broadway and we turned left onto Northwood Park Road. We ran forwards onto Cromwell Road and we turned left onto Legs Lane. We headed Northwards up Northycote Lane and we turned left onto Greenfield Lane. We crossed over the railway line and at the roundabout we turned left onto Broadlands where we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus Matthew took another picture of Rotala Diamond 15021 before it returned to the depot.

We walked around the corner onro Greenfield Lane and we met up with mum. We got in the car and Matthew had a can of Irn Bru. As mum was still not feeling great, we decided to go straight home. Matthew and uncle Dave shared a Bounty and we set off along Greenfields lane and left onto Broadlands. We turned right onto the A449 and we headed Northwards. We ran under the M54 and we ran Northwards for a few miles. We turned right onto the A5 and we ran tbhrough the roadworks. We joined the Northbound M6 at junction 12 and as we traveeled we saw Prospect Coaches (Flixbus) YS75 AYC, 2 unidentified Barnes coaches, an unidentified Marchant's coach and an unidentified Mott's coach. We came off the M6 at junction 15 and we turned right onto the A519. We turned left onto Whitmore Road and we ran towards Trentham. We turned right onto thge A34 and by Trentham Gardens we turned left onto the A5035. We got back to Blurton just after 18:30. I went to the chip shop and brought back food. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Dandelion & Burdock. We did the Blog, uploaded pictures and wrote the e-mail. After Matthew had his medication I took uncle Dave home. On my return we carried on writing the blog and e-mail. We chilled out on the computer until bedtime around 00:30... Mark

Today we decided to head to the West Midlands. As Matthew went on a coach trip, and didn't get to go on any buses. Mum was due to meet her friend at Bentley Bridge, but she cancelled at the last minute. We had already promised Matthew a trip, so we decided to still go albeit with a slightly different plan. Research consisted of checking the weather which was for mainly grey weather with some some rain. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting dressed we got ready and got in the car. We set off around 11:40:00 through Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive. Due the Blurton Road being closed we turned right onto Church Road and left onto the A5035. We turned left onto Drubbery Lane and we turned right onto Blurton Road. We crossed over the A50 and we ran into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We turned right onto City Road so that we could joined the Southbound A500. We joined the Southbound A500 and we ran Southwards through Hanford down to the M6. We joined the Southbound M6 and we headed through Staffordshire. As we travelled down the M6 we saw grey minibus SF67 CLU. We came off the M6 at junction 12 and we joined the Eastbound A5. We went for a couple of miles before stopping at the Truckers Rest truck stop. We sat down and mum ordered dinner for us. For dinner Matthew had a full English breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. We order cake and custard for Matthew which he took to have later on. In the car park we saw blue minibus KV70 YVY parked up. We got in the car and we set off onto the Eastbound A5. We turned right onto the A4601 and we ran forwards onto the A460. We crossed over the M6 and we continued along the A460 passing the former Farmhouse Inn's pub which closed last year. We turned right onto Prestwood Road West and we turned left onto Victoria Road and at the end we turned right onto Graisley Lane. We turned right onto Wolverhampton Road and we turned right onto New Cross Avenue and left onto Wednesfield Way and left into Bentley Bridge Leisure Park. We headed to the North end of the site and we parked up. We headed to the canal and we crossed over the canal and North onto Wolverhampton. Initially we headed Eastwards to look for a stop. We waited for a bus. As short time later we saw a bus approaching. We saw it was National Express West Midlands 2019 on a #59 to Wolverhampton.

We got on the bus and we booked nBus Day Tickets at £5.20 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Wolverhampton Road past New Cross hospital. We headed West and we turned right onto the A4124. We ran back into town along the dual carriageway and we crossed under the railway line. We crossed the ring road and we ran along the contraflow lane adjacent to the ring road that took us straight to the entrance of the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We left the bus station and e crossed over the road and went into the shop. Matthew bought a bottle of Coke and a couple of chocolate bars. We wanted to maximise our bus journeys, so we decied to catch a #79. We haeded back to the bus station and we saw there was a bus alrady on stand. As we got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 5403 on a #79 to West Bromwich.

We got on and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs. We set off out of the bus station and onto Pipers Row. We ran onto the A41 and we ran South Eastwards for a mile or so. Before the road and the tram line separated we saw an old petrol station on the left into Bilston town centre. We crossed over the A463 Black Country Route. We travelled around a 1/2 mile to Moxley and then we crossed over the Walsall Canal and continued along the A4038. We ran a further 1/2 mile into Darlaston and we turned left onto St Lawrence Way past the Asda store. We did a u-turn at the roundabout and we went back South towards the A4038 stopping at the bus terminal outside the Asda store. We turned right onto the A4038 and then left onto Dangerfield Lane. As we approached the A41 we turned left onto Woden Road West. We ran East to the end of the road and then we turned right onto the Southbound A462. We continued Southwards to the A461 and then we turned right. At the next roundabout we went left and then we pulled into Wednesbury bus station. Once we got off the bus Matthew took another picture of National Express West Midlands 5403.

Once off the bus we headed towards the town centre and we went into Morrisons. There was a brass band playing christmas carols in the entrance of the shop. We headed to the toilet, and after Matthew had used the ytoilet we went into the shop. We picked up a bottle of Dr Pepper and we payed for the drink before headed out of the shop. We walked back to the bus station and we saw National Express West Midlands 4952 arrive on a #47 to West Bromwich.

We crossed over the bus station to the opposite side and we saw the was a bus to Wolverhampton due in 2 minutes. Whilst we waited we saw NX West Midlands 2106 on a #11A to Walsall. A few minutes later we saw our bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 5410 on a #79 to Wolverhampton.

We got on and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we went downstiars and sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto Holyhead Road and we turned right onto the the A461. We turned left onto Trouse Lane and we headed North. We continued up the A462 for around 1/4 of a mile and then we turned left onto Woden Road West. We turned right onto Dangerfield Lane and at the end we turned right onto the Eastbound A4038. We ran into Darlaston and we turned left onto St Lawrence Way. After doing a u-turn at the next roundabout we headed South and stopped at the bus terminus outside the Asda store. After a brief stopped we went south onto the A4038 and we ran Westwards over the Walsall canal onto the A41. We ran then last mile or so into Bilston and then we crossed over the A463. We continued along the A41 through Ettingshakll and to the edge of Wolverhampton. We joined the Northbound A4150 and we entered the bus staion from the South Eastern corner. As we came into the bus station we saw Banga Travel YX60 FUE on layover. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed out of the bus station and across onto Lichfield Street. We crossed the street we turned right onto Princess Street and went into the pub. Matthew ewnt to the toilet and afterwards we headed to the bar to get a giass of Coke. We sat down and watched some football whilst we had our drinks. Matthew said hello to some of the locals and we saw West Ham score against Brighton & Hove Albion. When we had finished our drinks we headed onto Princess Street and we turned left onto Queen Street. We went into the bus station and we considered what bus to do back to Bentley Bridge. We spotted the next #59 and it was National Express West Midlands 2019 which we had been on earlier. We decided to wait for the #69 which was due a few minutes later. Whilst we waited we saw Lets Go! EU08 FHD on a #11 to Underhill.

A short time later we saw our bus coming up the ramp into the bus station. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 6760 on a #69 to Walsall.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver for the final time today before. The lower saloon was empty so Matthew took a picture inside of National Express West Midlands 6760 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

We set off out of the bus station and we joined the Northbound A4150. We turned right onto the A4124 and we headed Eastwards out of Wolverhampton. We veered left onto Wolverhampton Road and we turned left into New Cross hospital. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of National Express West Midlands 6760 as it continued towards Walsall.

Once off the bus we walked out of the hospital grounds onto Wolverhampton Road. We crossed over the road and we headed over the canal bridge into Bentley Bridge Retail Park. We found mum in the car park and we got in the car. Once in the car we set off out of the retail park along Kenmare Way. We continued onto Wells Lane and we turned left onto the A4124. We turned left onto Neachells Lane and we headed Northwards. We turned right onto Lichfield Road and we ran forwards onto the B4484. We followed the B4484 to the left and we ran Northwards for about a mile. We turned right onto the A460 and we ran under the M54 and we joined the Northbound M6. We came off the M6 at junction 13 and we turned right onto the A449. We took the next left and we stopped at McDonalds. We went inside and Matthew went to the toilet. We ordered our food and we sat down whilst we waited for the food to be ready. They played Slade over the speakers and both myself and the guy opposite to me were out on this years Sladeagendon! After we got our food we headed back to the car. Matthew had a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, fries and a cup of Coke. After Matthew had finished eating we set off out of the car park onto the A449. We turned right and we joined the Northbound M6. We acme off the M6 at junction 15 and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran through Hanford to Stoke and e came off the A500 and onto Wheildon Road. After we dropped of uncle Dave we continued along Wheiledon Road. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we turned right onto Blurton Road, We turned right onto the A50 and we came off onto Stanley Matthews Way. We turned left onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 18:20. Matthew had a Scotch Eggs as a snack washd down with a can of Dandelion & Burdock. We wrote some of the Blog and wrote an e-mail. Matthew had a baths, and afterwards he had some New York Cheesecake. We finished off the Blog and we went to bed around 00:00... Mark.

Today we decided to re-visit Wolverhampton. We were checking the weatyer as we were expecting thunder storms and it appeared to be slightly better to the South. It was also Dave Day and they were expecting thousands of motorbikes to be heading North up the M6 going towards Barrow for Dave Day. Saturday morning we made a decision to go to Wolverhampton. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:30 and had toast and apple juice for breakfast. He also had a can of Fanta Orange. We got ready to go out and we set off just after 12:00. We got in the car and we set off onto the A5035. We turned right onto Stanley Matthews Way and we saw D&G Bus 781 on a #24 to Hanley. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we came off at Heron Cross avoiding the roadworks on Blurton Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and left onto Grove Road. We continued onto Whieldon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. After we picked up uncle Dave we continued down Whieldon Road and we ran forwards onto the A500. We turned right onto the A52 and right onto the Southbound A500. We ran through hanford to Hanchurch and we joined the Southbound M6. As we travelled Southwards we saw an unidentified grey tri-axle coach, an unidentified JKT coach and Imperial Coaches BU74 YSK. We accidentially missed junction 12 so we came off at junction 11. We turned left onto the A460 and at the next roundabout we ran forwards onto the A4601. We ran Northwards for around a mile and we turned left onto the A5. We continued for about another 1/4 of a mile and we stopped at the truck stop. As it was hot, we sat on a table outside under the shelter. We ordered the food and Matthew sat outside with uncle Dave. Matthew had a full English breakfast washed down with a can of Cherry Coke. When we had finished eating Matthew went to the toilet and we bought a Cherry Bakwell for later on. We got in the car and we set off onto the Eastbound A5. We turned right onto the A4601 and we ran forwards onto the A460. At the motorway junction we veered left onto the A462. We ran South for a few miles, we crossed over the M6 and we headed South Towards New Invention. We turned right onto the A4124 and we ran around Wednesfield and we entered Bentley Bridge retail park and we parked up. We said goodbye to mum and we walked thrugh the retail park and onto the canal. We walked past the pub and we crossed over the canal onto Wolverhampton Road. AS we waited to cross over New Cross Avenue we saw a bus approaching. As it approached we saw it was National Express West Midlands 5404 on a #59 to Wolverhampton.

We crossed the road and we walked to the bus stop and got on the bus. We booked an nBus day group ticket at £9.60 before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Wolverhampton Road past New Cross hospital. We headed West and we turned right onto the A4124. We ran back into town along the dual carriageway and we crossed under the railway line. We crossed the ring road and we ran along the contraflow lane adjacent to the ring road that took us straight to the entrance of the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed out of the bus station to the shop. Matthew bouught a bottle of Coke and some chocolate. When we had finished we headed inside and we and we sat down and contemplated what we would catch next. It was raining. Whilst we thought about what to catch we saw Rotala Diamond 32125 on a #27 to Dudley.

We had a sit down and Matthew shared a pack of Cadbury's Snack biscuits. He also had his bottle of Coke. We saw Woods Coaches 366 arriving on a #210 from Gatwick Airport.

A short time later we saw a bus come in on the adjacent stand. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands on a #6 to Wobaston.

We set off out of the bus station onto the A 4150 and we turned left onto Broad Street. We turned left onto Princess Square and we turned right onto Lichfield Street. We ran through Queen Square and we continued onto Darlington Street. We turned right ont Waterloo Road and we crossed over the ring road and we ran forwards onto Waterloo Road. We veered left onto New Hampton Road East and we ran forwards onto New Hampton Road West. We turned right onto Court Road and we turned left onto Hordern Road. We crossed over the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal and under a former railway line. We turned right onto Aldersley Road and we ran through Aldersley. We turned left onto Green Land and we turned right onto Pendeford Avenue. We crossed over the Shrewsbury line and we turned right onto Ryefield. We ran through Dovecotes and we turned right onto the Droveway. We crossed over the Shropshire Union Canal and we turned right onto Blaydon Road. We ran to a small bus terminus and we turned aruound and headed back Northwards up Blaydon Road. We turned right onto Droveway and we continued up to the i54 industrial estate. We turned around at the roundabout and we turned left onto Wobaston Road. We turned right onto Patshull Avenue and the bus pulled into the bus terminus where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked down Patshull Avenue and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we went to the bar and had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we went outside and we saw the #25 and the #3 go past. We headed back to the same stop and as we apporoached we saw a bus at the terminus. As we got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2018 on a #6 to Wolverhampton.

The bus sat for a few minutes waiting for departure time. A short time later we set off onto Patshull Avenue and we turned left onto Wobaston Road. We turned right into the 154 estate and we did a u-turn at the roundabout. We headed Southwards onto The Droveway and we turned left onto to Blaydon Road and we stop at the small bus terminus. We headed back Northwards up Blaydon Road and we turned left onto THe Droveway. We crossed over the canal and we turned left onto Ryefield. We turned left onto Barnhurst Lane and we went over the railway line. We continued onto Pendeford Avenue and we turned left onto Green Lane. We continued onto Aldersley Road and we ran through Aldersley. We turned left onto Hordern Road and we ran under a former railway line and over the canal. Once off the bus we crossed the road and checked the timetable. We had 20 minutes for the next bus to Codsall so we walked to the corner shop. We went in the shop and Matthew bought a bottle of Dr Pepper and a Twirl. We headed back to the bus stop and Matthew sat on the grass. Across the road was a former care home which is going to be re-developed. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Chaserider 671 on a #5 to Codsall.

We set off up Hornden Road and we went over the canal and under the railway line. We ran forwards onto Lowlands Avenue and we were passed by 2 hills Coaches coaches. We turned right onto Lower Street and we ran forwards onto Codsall Road. We crossed the roundabout and continued along Codsall Road. We comtinued onto Birches Road and we passed Bilbrook Railway station and ran onto Duck Lane. We continued onto Bilbrook Road and we turned left onto Watery Lane. We continued onto Elliotts Lane and we turned right onto Wolverhampton Road. We continued onto Bakers Way and the bus terminated. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of Chaserider 671 before it returned on a #5 to Wolverhampton.

Once off the bus we walked across the green into town and we had a choice of 3 pubs to visit. We went to the Banks' pub as it seemed the best. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we headed to the bar and had a glass of Coke. We had our drink and watched some darts. When we had finished we headed back to the green. We sat on a bench with uncle Dave and Matthew had a Twirl. A short time later we saw the bus arrive at the terminus. We saw it was Chaserider 144 on a #5 to Wolverhampton.

We continued onto Watery Lane and we turned right onto Bilbrook Road. We continued onto Duck Lane and we ran past the shops and the railway station. We turned left onto Birches Road. We continued onto Codsall Road and we crossed over a roundabout. We ran forwards onto Lower Street and we turned left onto Lowlands Avenue. We continued onto Hordern Road and we ran under the disused railway line and over the canal. We continued onto Hunter Street and we turned left onto New Hampton Road West. We turned left onto Evans Street and we ran forwards onto Dunstall Road. We followed Dunstall Road to the left and we ran around the roundabout and Headed Southwards down Waterloo Road. We ran past Molineux and we headed towads the ring road. We crossed the ring road an unidentified Johnson coach pulled along side us and turned left onto the ring road. We continued along Waterloo Road and forwards onto School Street. We turned left onto Salop Street and we continued onto Cleveland Street. We turned left onto Garrick Street and right onto Bilston Street. We turnrf left at the roundabout onto the A4150 and we enetered the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed to the toilet. after Matthew had used the toilet we looked for a bus towards Ashmore as mum had driven to Farmfoods to pick up pop. Whilst had a look what we could catch we saw Chaserider 3010 on layover.

There were a couple of different buses we could have done but we saw that the next #59 was 5404 that we had done earlier in the day. We decided to wait for a #69. We sat at the appropriate stand and a short time later we saw the bus arrive. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2089 on a #69 to Walsall.

We set off out of the bus station and we joined the Northbound A4150. We turned right onto the A4124 and we headed Eastwards out of Wolverhampton. We veered left onto Wolverhampton Road and we turned left into New Cross hospital. We turned right onto Prestwood Road West. We crossed the B4484 and we continued onto Lower Prestwood Road. We turned right onto Wood End Road and we turned left onto Moathouse Lane West. We turned left onto Ridge Lane. We turned right onto Linthouse Lane and we turned left onto Griffiths Drive. We Turned right to continued along Griffiths Drive and we passes National Express West Midlands 5404 nwhich we had been on ealier in the day. We turned right onto Peacock Avenue. We ran to the end and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of National Express West Midlands 2089 as it continued towards Walsall.

Once off the bus we walked to the end of the road and we turned right onto the A4124. We crossed over the canal and we met up with mum at farmfood. We got in the car and Matthew had an orange flavour ice lolly. We got in the car and we set off towards the chip shop. We joined the Westbound A4124 and we turned left onto Stubby Lane. We ran to the next roundabout and we parked up near to the shop. Matthew went with mum to the shop whilst I went to the chip shop to get some food. matthew bought some cold pop for us all to drink and went back to the car. I came back with food and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a bottle of Coke. when I had finished eating we set off Northwards up Stubby Lane and we turned right onto the A4124. We ran Northwards up the A462 and we joined the Northbound M6. We came off the M6 at junction 15 and we ran forwards onto the A500. We ran through Hamford and Sideway and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We turned right onto the A52 and right onto the Southbound A500. We veered left onto Wheildon Road and we stopped to drop off uncle Dave. We continued up Whieldon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and at the roundabout we turned right onto the Westbound A50. We came off at Stanley Matthews Way and we ran Southwards. We turned left onto the A5035 and we got home just after 20:00. Matthew had his medication and we wrote the Blog and we did the e-mail. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke and a Flake ice cream. Today we decided to go to Cannock. We had seen the weather warnings for storm Darragh so we wnated to go somewhere close to home. We didn't pick until Saturday morning and appart from looking at the weather we did no research. Matthew got up around 10:30 and had toast and apple juice for breakfast. We got ready to go out and we left arounbd 11:50. We set off thr Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We turned right onto City Road so that we could joined the Southbound A500. Whilst we waited to joined the A500 we saw former Shelton Care Group minibus DY08 FFX going the other way. We joined the Southbound A500 and we ran Southwards through Hanford down to the M6. We joined the Southbound M6 and we headed through Staffordshire. Travelling down the motorway we saw an unidentified Jones Coaches, white minibus YS22 ZZE, 2 unidentified adventure coaches, an unidentified Ferris coach, an unidentified coachleasing.com coach, an unidentified Bennetts (blue and orange) coach, Alfa 103 / 117 and Selwyns BV23 ZWB(#540) / BV67 JXN(#120). We came off the M6 at junction 12 and we joined the Eastbound A5. We went for a couple of miles before stopping at the Truckers Rest truck stop. Matthew went to the toilet and mum ordered dinner for us. For dinner Matthew had a full English breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we headed out to the car park and we saw GJG Travel MC19 MMX parked up outside.

We got back into the car and we re-joined the Eastbound A5. Just before we got to the A4601 we turned left onto the A4601 and we headed Northwards into town. We ran forwards onto the A34 and we ran past the bus station. We pulled up next to the bus station and we said goodbye to mum before heading into the bus station. On the way in we saw Chaserider 198 on a #74 to Stafford.

We set off out of the bus station and we turned around at the roundabout and we went Eastwards along the A34. At the roundabout we turned left onto the B5012 and we ran through Dartmouth Road. We turned right onto Hatherton Road and we turned left onto Gorsey Lane. We turned left onto Oaks Drive and we ran North Eastwards through Bideford Way and we turned left onto Ascot Drive. We turned right onto Longford Road and we turned right onto Delta Way. We turned left onto the A5 and we turned right onto Walkmill Lane and we ran forwards onto Mill Lane and we ran forwards onto Coppice Lane and we ran through Cheslyn Hay. We turned right onto the B4156 and and we turned right onto High Street and we turned left onto onto Wolverhampton Road. We turned right onto the A462 and we ran forwards onto the A460 and we ran through Shareshill. We turned right onto New Road and we turned left onto onto Baneberry Drive and we turned left onto onto Turnstone Drive. We got on the bus and we booked nBus day tickets at £4.80 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Cannock Road and we crossed under both railway lines. We passed nearby to the railway line and we ran forwards onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and we turned left onto a special bus lane that runs alongside the inside of the ring road contraflow to the traffic. We then emerged from the cutting at the entrance of the bus station. We got up and we got off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We came out of the toilet and we saw Woods Coaches 380 on a #210 service to Gatwick Airport.

We had a look around for something to catch. Matthew noticed there was a #9 to Bridgenorth due. We waited at the stand for around 10 minutes and the bus appeared. As it arrived on stand we sw it was dud Arriva Midlands 3792 on a #9 to Bridgnorth.

This is a bus that we first had back in March 2023 from Telford to Oakengates on a #6 service. The emergency door open alarm was going off, so the driver attempted to silence the alarm by opening and closing all the door but to no avail. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto the ring road we came back inside the town along Broad Street and we turned right into princes square and left into Lichfield Street. We ran out of town stopping on Lichfield street and Darlington Street and we crossed the ring road onto Chapel Ash. We continued West along the A454 and road very quickly became rural. About 2 miles West of the ring road we came into village of Compton. As we approached the main junction we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of Arriva Midlands 3792 before it continued on towards Bridgnorth.

Once off the bus we walked into the pub on the corner and Matthew went to the toilet and I went to the bar to order drinks. Mathew had a glass of Coke and we sat down in the main seating area. When we had finished we went outside and we crossed over Bridgenorth Road and headed to the bus stop. It was raining and the wind was blowing hard so we huddled in the bus shelter to wait for a bus back to Wolverhamptom. There should have been an Arriva Midlands bus first but it must have been running late. A few minutes later we saw a bus turn the corner. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2006 on a #10 to Wolverhampton.

We ran back into town down the A454 and passed the Harley Davidson Shop on Chapel Ash. We crossed the ring road onto Salop Street and we ran forwards onto Cleveland Street. We turned left onto Garrick Street and we then turned right onto Bilston Street. We ran past the police station and onto the ring road and then enter the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus Matthew indicated that he wanted to have another drink. We walked across the road to the premier shop and we bought some chocolate bars and a bottle of Coke. We crossed back over to the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Walsall. We formulated a plan to meet up with mum in Bloxwich. Whilst we waited we saw National Express West Midlands 2077 on a #82 to Dudley.

Whilst we waited Matthew ate some Cadbury's Snack which had just bought from the shop. A few minutes later a bus came on stand. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 6792 on a #529 to Walsall.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station. We left towards the tram station and we crossed over the ring road and onto the A454 and we ran through Monmore. We continued into Moseley and we Northwards into Portobello. We ran through Willenhall and we walked past thre former HSBC Bank. We ran through Bentley and out the other side and down into Reedswood. We travelled through Pleck and over Walsall and we ran forwards onto the A4148. We turned right onto Wolverhampton Street and we ran past the Crown Wharf Shopping Park. We ran forwards onto Townend Street and we crossed the roundabout into St Paul's Street and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We decided to have a qiuick walk around and take a few picture before we caught something up to Bloxwich. We saw APP Carz AV11 UFZ stopped outside the bus station on St Pauls Street.

We walked back to the bus station just as a driver was getting a bus ready for service. As we got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2132 on a #31 to Mossley.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We messaged mum to tell her to set off and meet us at Bloxwich. The bus set off out of the bus station and we went North up Stafford Street. We crossed over the A4148 continuing North up Stafford Street and we ran the 2 miles or so up to Bloxwich. When we got to town we went up the High Street and we turned left onto Wolverhampton Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked down Wolverhampton Road and we crossed over the High Street and we went into the pub. Matthew went to the toi;et and afterwards we had a can of Coke. Mum called to say she was outside so we went outside to the car. Mum needed to drop something off at work so we headed up to Brownhills. We turned around and we headed North up Park Road. We turned right and we headed Eastwards aklong the A4124. We ran through Pelsall and over the Wyrley and Essington Canal and we headed to the roundabout at the top of Brownhills. We crossed over the roundabout onto the B4155 and we turned right onto Great Charles Street. We stopped for a few minutes near to mums work and Matthew had the bakewell tart we bougt at the Truck Stop Cafe earlier. When mum was ready to go we headed home via the chip shop. We turned left onto the Sadler Road and left onto the B4155. We stopped at the chip shop and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. After I had finished eating we set off along the B4155 and we turned right onto the A452. At the roundabout we joined the Westbound A5. We ran to the bottom of Cannock and we joined the Westbound A460. We ran to the south of Cannock and we joined the Northbound M6. As we battled our way Northwards through the winds and we rain we saw an unidentified Bruce's Coaches BF21 CZV(#590) and Woods Coaches 335(#120). We came off the M6 at junction 15 and we joined the Northbound A500. We came off at Stoke and we turned right onto Wheildon Road. We stopped at uncle Dave's house and dropped uncle Dave off. We got back in the car and we set off for Blurton. We set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 19:40. Matthew chilled out on his computer. Matthew had his medication and we did some of the Blog. We also wrote a few emails and generally used the computer to entertain ourselves. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke.
