Today was our second day in East Anglia. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up a little after 09:00 and had crumpets and orange juice for breakfast. We chilled out in the cararvan until around 10:30. We got into the car and we headed Northwards through Corton. We ram forwards onto the B1385 and we joined the A47. We headed North to the edge of town and we turned right onto the A1243. We crossed over the Yare and we turned right onto Hall Quay. We turned left onto Regent Street and left onto Howard Street South and we entered the car park. We parked up and we set off on foor towards the pub. We walked along Austin Row onto Market place and we turned right onto Theatre Plain. We turned left onto Regent Road and we saw Ambassador Travel BV72 XGL on a #727 to Heathrow Airport.

We walked past the bus station and we went into the pub. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a glass of Coke. After we had finished eating Matthew went to the toilet. We came back to the table and we said goodbye to mum and we went outside to catch a bus. We decided to head North towards the #1C route so we could have some of the open top buses out today. We planned on catching eiter a #1, #1A or a #8. Whilst we waited we saw First Eastern Counties 33810 on a X11 to Belton.

A short time later we saw a suitable bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Eastern Counties 33815 on a #1 to Markham. We got on the bus and we booked a Costal Hi5 Day ticket at £12 before we went upstairs and sat down. We turned ran forwards onto Temple Road and onto Priory Plain. We turned right onto Northgate Street and we headed Northwards. We continued onto Caister Road and we stopped near to the bus depot. We saw First Eastern Counties 37069 parked up outside on Staff Bus duties. We continued Northwards up Caister Road past the racecourse and Yarmouth Stadium. We continued onto Yarmouth Road and into Caister. We turned right onto Ormesby Road and turned right onto Scratby Road. We turned right onto Californis Road and left onto Rottenstone Lane. We continued onto Beach Road and we turned right to rejoin Scratby Road. We ran forwards onto Yarmouth Road and in Hemsby we turned left to continue along yarmouth Road. We turned right onto The Street and we turned left onto Kingsway. At the roundabout we turned left onto the layby in front of the shops were all buses call at. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of First Eastern Counties 33815 as it continued towards Markham.

Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We came back to the stop and Matthew ate a Crunchie. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching from the Beach. It crossed the roundabout and as it got closer we saw it was First Eastern Counties 37065 on a #1C to the Pleasure Beach.

We got on the bus and we placed the Costal Hi5 Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off onto Kingsway and we headed Southwards. We ran forwards onto Yarmouth Road and onto Scratby Road. We turned left onto Beach Road and we continued onto Rottenstone Lane. We got a better view of the sea in this direction and I remember us coming here around 25 years ago when Matthew was very little. We turned right onto California Road and left to re-join Scratby Road. We turned left onto Ormesby Road and we ran into Caister. We continued onto High Street and onto Yarmouth Road. We ran down Caister Road and we turned left onto Jellicoe Road. We turned left onto North Drive and we ran to the turning circle at the end. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Eastern Counties 37065 as it continued towards the Pleasure Beach.

Once off the bus we had almost 30 minutes before the bus back to Hemsby. WE decided to catch the bus in that direction to get another required bus. In the meanwhile, we walkd down to the beach and had a look around. We headed back to the bus to top wait for the required bus and we saw First Eastern Counties 37069 on Staff Bus duties, enabling a driver swap on First Eastern Counties 37066 which was heading for the Pleasure Beach.

We waited for the next bus which should be a required one. As short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Eastern Counties 37068 as expected.

We got on the bus and we placed the Costal Hi5 ticket under the scanner before going upstairs and sitting down. We set off Southwards along North Drive and we turned right onto Jellicoe Road. We turned right onto Caister Road past the racecourse and Yarmouth Stadium. We continued onto Yarmouth Road and into Caister. We turned right onto Ormesby Road and turned right onto Scratby Road. We turned right onto Californis Road and left onto Rottenstone Lane. We continued onto Beach Road and we turned right to rejoin Scratby Road. We ran forwards onto Yarmouth Road and in Hemsby we turned left to continue along yarmouth Road. We turned right onto The Street and we turned left onto Kingsway. We ran into the layby and we ran back onto Kingsway and turned right onto Beach Road. We ran to the beach turning circle and we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the road and Matthew got a picture of First Eastern Counties 37068 before it returned to the Pleasure Beach.

We walked down towards the beach. We stopped at the toilet block and Matthew used the facilities. We continued onto the beach and we sat on a large concrete block. Matthew had a couple of sausage rolls and can of Dr Pepper. Once we had finished eating we stopped at an ice cream van. We sat on a wall and Matthew ate his ice cream. We walked back towards the turning circle and we could see a bus ready to depart! Luckily the driver spotted us and waited. Matthew took a picture of First Eastern Counties 37066 before we got on the bus.

We got on the bus and we placed the Costal Hi5 Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off onto Beach Road and we crossed over the roundabout onto the Kingsway bus top. We continued onto The Street and it started to rain heavily. We turned left onto Yarmouth Road and we headed Southwards.onto Scratby Road. We turned left onto Beach Road and we continued onto Rottenstone Lane. We turned right onto California Road and left to re-join Scratby Road. We turned left onto Ormesby Road and we ran into Caister. We continued onto High Street and onto Yarmouth Road. We ran down Caister Road and we turned left onto Jellicoe Road. We turned left onto North Drive and we ran to the turning circle at the end. After a short wait we headed back down North Drive and we ran forwards onto Marine Parade. We ran past the cinema and we saw Alfa A141 parked up out an hotel. We ran forwards onto South Beach Parade and we got up to get off the bus. The bus was nor empty so Matthew took a picture inside to top deck of First Eastern Counties 37066 before we got off the bus.

Once off the bus we had a look around. There wasn't much to do at this end of town. We crossed over and we saw First Eastern Counties 37066 heading up the road, so e decided to get back on it and go a few stops up into the centre of Great Yarmouth.

We got on the bus and we placed the Costal Hi5 Day ticket under the scanner before we went downstairs and sat down. We set off up South Beach Parade and we ran forwards onto Marina Parade and we got up and got off the bus. It was trying to rain so we ducked into a sports bar. Matthew had a glass of coke and we sat by the window until we had finished. We went outside and we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Eastern Counties 37068 on a #1C to Hemsby for the secong time today.

We got on the bus and we placed the Costal Hi5 Day ticket under the scanner before we went downstairs and sat down. We set off up Marina Parade and we ran past the cinema and onto North Drive. We continued to the North end and we turned around at the turning circle. WE came back South and we turned right onto Jellicoe Road. We had decided to do this bus to some on another route so we could get off doinf the #1C's had we had now had all the open top buses would could get at this time. We turned right onto Caister Road and we ran past the racetrack and Yarmouth Stadium. We continued onto Yarmouth Road and into Caister. We turned right onto Ormesby Road. We ran until we got to the chip shop and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Eastern Counties 37068 as it continued towards Hemsby on a #1C.

We crossed over the road and we walkd around the corner onto Second Avenue. We walked down to the beach and Matthew used the toilet. We then walked back up second Avenue and we turned left onto Marram Drive. We waited for a few minutes and then a bus appeared from around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Eastern Counties 36190 on a #8 to James Paget Hospital.

We got on the bus and we placed the First Costal High5 Day ticket under the scanner. The lower saloon was empty so Matthew took a picture inside of First Eastern Counties 36190 before we went upstairs.

The bus waited for time and afterwards set off along Marram Drive. We turned left onto Second Avenue and we ran to the end before heading Southwards down Ormesby Road. We ran forwards onto High Street and forwards onto Yarmouth Road. We joined the Southbound A149 and we ran past the greyhound stadium. We turned left onto Jellicoe Road and right onto Beatty Road. We turned left onto Barnard Avebue and right onto Sandringham Avenue. We continued Southwards before turning right onto Beaconsfield Road. We turned left onto Northgate Street and we headed Southwards into the town. We veered left onto Fullers Hill and we continued onto Priory Plain. We continued onto Temple Road and we stopped in the Market Gates Interchange for a short while. After a short wait we continued Southwards. We continued onto Alexandra Road and we crossed KIng Street onto Yarmouth Way. We turned right onto South Quay and we turned left onto the A1243. We turned left onto Southown Road and we headed towards Gorleston. We briefly joined Beccles Road and we turned left onto High Road past the former Barlcays bank which is being converted into shops and flats. We ran forwards onto High Street and into the centre of Gorleston. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew got another picture of First Eastern Counties 36190 as it continued on a #8 towards James Paget hospital.

We messaged mum and arranged to meet her in Hopton. We had around 15 minutes to wait for our bus. Whilst we waited we saw Simonds 538 ELX heading Southwards.

A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Eastern Counties 33819 on a X1 to Lowestoft.

We got on the bus and we placed the Costal Hi5 Day ticket under the scanner for the final time today before we went downstairs and sat down. We set off down High Street and we turned right onto Church Lane. We crossed over the A47 and we turned left onto Magdalen Way. turned right onto Hertford Way and we turned left onto Brasenose Avenue and we turned right onto the A47. We turned right into Paget James hospital and we ran around the car park and we turned right on to the A47. We followed the road Southwards for a few miles and we turned left onto Station Road. We got up and got off the bus and right behind our bus was another X1. It was First Eastern Counties 37564 on a X1 to Norwich.

We walked around the coner onto Station Road and we saw the car. Matthew decided he needed the toilet so we went into the pub on the corner. After going to the toilet Matthew had a small glass of Coke. When we had finished we went outside and got in the car. We set off along Station Road and we turned right onto Coast Road. We headed into the caravan park and after we had parked up we went into the caravan. Matthew had a scotch egg and 2 sausage rolls. We did the Blog and later on Matthew had a shower. For suppoer Matthew had a piee of red velevet cake washed down with a glass of Cherry Coke. We finished the e-mail and Matthew went to bed around 00:00... Mark.

Trip to Great Yarmouth / Lowestoft 15-10-2023

Today Matthew was on the second full day of a trip to East Anglia. There had been 2 new arrivals to First Eastern Counties. Matthew got up around 09:00 and had toast and juice for breakfast. We chilled out watching TV and watching the squirrels and ducks outside the caravan. Around 11:00 we got in the car and we set off out of the caravan park. We set off out of the caravan Park and we ran down to the main road. We joined the Northbound A143 and we ran up tpwards the town. We joined the Northbound A47 for a short distance past a new bridge over the are which is under contruction. We came off onto Pasteur Road and we crossed the Haven Bridge. We ran up North Quay and we turned right onto Fullers Hill. We parked up by the market and we walked along Market Place onto Regent Road. We stopped at the bus station on the way past and we saw First Eastern Counties 36283 on a #8 to the James Paget Hospital.

We looked for somewhere to have dinner all the way along Regent Road and in the end we walked back and decided to eat at the Troll Cart. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we sat down and had dinner. Matthew had sausage and chips and a glass of Coke. Whenwe had finished we said goodbye to mum and we headed across the road to the bus station. We decided not to hang around to long so we headed over to a bus already in the bus station. As we got closer we saw it was First Eastern Counties 47502 on a #6 to Bradwell.

We got on the bus and we brough a First Costal High5 Day ticket before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off Southwards onto Alexander Road and we followed the one-way system onto Dene Side. We turned left onto Regent Road and right onto King Street. We turned left onto Regent Street and we ran fowards onto South Quay. We turned left onto haven Bridge and at the junction we turned left onto Southdown Road. We ran for about 2/3 of a mile and we joined Beccles Road. After a few hundred yards we turned left onto High Road. We ran forwards onto High Street and we ran into Gorleston. When the bus turned right onto Church Lane where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Eastern Counties 47502 as it continued towards Bradwell.

Once off the bus we went for a little walk about. We crossed over the High Street and we stopped at the toilet block. After Matthew had been to the toilet we walked along Baker Street to Riverside Road. We had a look at the docks and the river Yare before walking back along Baker Street and onto High Street. Matthew went to the toilet again and we lookedat what we could catch next. I saw on the real time display that there was a bus to Lowestoft due in a few minutes. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Eastern Counties 37571 on a #1A to Lowestoft.

We got on the bus and we flashed the First Costal High5 Day ticket to the driver before we sat down. We set off Southwards down High Street and we ran forwards onto Lowestoft Road. We continued onto Victoria Road and we cut back onto the A47 before turning right into the James Paget hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw First Eastern Counties 36215 on a #8 to Caister. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A47 for about a mile and we turned left onto the access road. We turned left onto Lowestoft Road and right onto Station Road. We turned right onto Coast Road and we headed Southwards into Corton. We turned left onto Church Lane and we ran forwards onto The Street. We turned right onto Station Road and right onto Corton Long Lane. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Pleasurewood Hill. We turned left onto Leisure Way and we stopped outside Tesco. After doing a u-turned at the next roundabout we turned left onto Foxburrow Hill. We continued Southwards into the centre of Lowestoft and we ran into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw First Eastern Counties 33821 on a X21 to Norwich.

We decided to have a walk around town to see what was about. We set off along Gordon Road past the former Wilko and we saw First Eastern Counties 37575 on a #99 to Lowestoft.

We cut through an alleyway onto the A47 and we walked around the outside of the town. When we got to the railway station we turned right onto London Road North and we walked through the town centre. When we got back to the bus station we saw that First Eastern Counties 33821 was being readied for service. Matthew wanted to do this bus, but we could only do it for a short distance due to the ticket validity. We got on the bus and we placed the First Costal High5 Day ticket the scanner before went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station and we turned right onto Gordon Road. We went around the rouandabout and we turned sharp right onto the Southbound A47. We crossed over the inner harbour befoer turning left onto the B1532. There were two parrallel road with terrace housing in between them. We ran Southwards down the Eastern of the 2 roads for about 1/2 a mile before the 2 roads merged. We spotted a bus coming up the other way on the map so we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Eastern Counties 33821 as it continued towards Norwich.

We crossed the road to catch a bus back to Lowestoft. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Eastern Counties 33814 on a #99 to Lowestoft.

We got on the bus and we placed the First Costal High5 Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and sat down. We headed Northwards up the B1532. When the road split in two we stayed on the Western Northbound carriageway.

We got on the bus and we flashed the First Costal High5 Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and we sat down towards the back off the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned right onto Gordon Road. We ran forwards onto Old Nelson Street and we ran Northwards out of town. We ran forwards onto Yarmouth Road and forwards again onto Foxburrow Hill. We turned right onto Leisure Way and we stopped outside Tesco. We did a u turned at the next roundabout and we headed back to the main road. We ran Northwards for a few hundred yards and we turned right onto Corton Long Lane. We turned left onto Station Road and left onto The Street. We ran Northwards onto Church Lane and we turned right onto Coast Road. We turned left onto Station Road and we re-joined the Northbound A47. We ran for about a mile and we turned right onto Victoria Road and we ran Northwards onto High Street. We ran Northwards into Gorleston and we stopped briefly before continuing Northwards. We ran onto High Road and forwards onto Beccles Road. We turned right onto Bollard Quay and we turned right onto the A1243. We crossed over the River Yare amd we ran into the centre of Great Yarmouth. We turned right onto Stonecutters Way and we turned left onto Howard Street North. We ran into Market Place and we turned right onto Fuller's Hill. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus.

We got on the bus and we placed the First Costal High5 Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto Regent Road. We turned right onto King Street and we followed the road to the left onto Regent Street. We turned right onto Howard Street South and we headed Northwards. We turned right into The Conge and we enterted the market place. We crossed over Fuller's Hill and we continued Northwards up Northgate Street and we turned right onto Beaconsfield Road. We turned left onto North Denes Road and we ran forwards onto Sandringham Road. We turned left onto Barnard Avenue and we turned right onto Beatty Road. We turned left onto Lellicoe Road and we ran past Gret Yarmouth racecourse. We turned right onto the Northbound A149 and we ran past the greyhound track. We ran forwards onto Yarmouth Road and we ran into Caister. We ran onto the High Street and we veered right onto Ormesby Road. We passed the Haven holiday Park and we turned right onto Second Avebue. We turned right onto Carter Close. We turned left onto Halt Road and left onto Marram Drive where the bus terminated. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Eastern Counties 36288 as is prepared to headed back towards Great Yarmouth on the #2 service.

Once off the bus we walked to the sea front. Matthew visited the toilet and aferwards we walked onto the beach. We returned ed to the main path and Matthew sat down and had a Coke and a couple od squashed Milky Way bars from the trip bag. We walked back to Second Avenue and we turned left onto Marram Drive. We saw the bus was already at the stop. As expected it was First Eastern Counties 36283 on a #8 to James Paget Hospital.

Once off the bus we set off on foot back to the car. We walked along Regent Road and we turned right onto Theartre Plain. We continued towards the car and Matthew spotted a pub on Market Gates. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we walked out onto Market Gates and turned right onto market PLace and we got in the car. As we had been unable to get an ice cream earlier mum had found a 'drive through donut' shop that had a a god donut deal which also sold ice cream. We set off along market PLace and we turned left o to Fuller's Hill. We turned right onto the A149 and e headed Northwards. We past the First Eastern Couties depot and there was a large two-tone green double decker parked at the front. We continued North past the racecource and we ran forwards onto Yarmout Road. We ran through the centre of Caister and we turned right onto Ormesby Road. We headed North almost as far as the #8 bus does and we turned left just after Dogger's Plaice chip shop. The drive through donut place was a donut van, but they did ice cream amd a great deal on a bag of mini donuts. Parked up near to the donut van was Henwood YN51 KJZ.

Matthew ate his ace cream and we waited for the donut to be ready. As they were fresh they tasted really nice! We got back onto Ormesby Road and we ran Southwards into Caister. We got back on the Southbound A149 and we ran down to Great Yarmouth. We turned right onto Acle New Road and we turned left onto the A47. We joined the A143 and we ran South Westwards. We turned left onto New Road and we turned right onto Bracon Road. We turned left onto Station Road North and we ran forwsrds into the caravan park. After we had parked up we went into the caravan and had ham sandwiches for tea. We watch TV and wrote the Blog as well as writing e-mails. We tidyied up the caravan ready for departure the next day and we went to bed around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Peterborough. He wanted to ride on an Excel bus before they are changed. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW.

When it was time to go out We went downstairs and we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed City Road onto Manor Street and we ran to the end where we turned left onto Victoria Road to Joiners Square and we turned left onto Warrington Road. We turned left onto the A52. we ran towards Stoke. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one-way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and we got onto the Southbound A500. We ran Southwards to Sideway and we got onto the Eastbound A50. As we travelled through Derbyshire we caught up with Grayway YJ16 EHE on a day trip to Skegness. We ran Eastwards for around 40 miles and we got onto the Southbound M1. We ran South for around 30 miles and we joined the Eastbound A14. We continued Eastwards for a few miles and we joined the Northbound A605. We joined the A47 near to Peterborough and we ran towards town. We parked up at Queensgate shopping centre and we had some dinner. We visited the Handmade Burger Co and Matthew had a plain cheeseburger with fries washed down with a cup of coke. We walked to the bus Interchange and we waited for a bus towards Norwich. After a short wait we saw First Eastern Counties 36908 on a C to Norwich. We got on the bus and we flashed the FirstDay ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the interchange and we headed out of town and onto the A47. We headed Eastward through Wisbech and into Kings Lynn. After calling into Kings Lynn bus station we continued Eastwards through Swaffham. We continued Eastwards into Norwich and into the bus station where we saw new arrival at First Eastern Counties 34432 on a D to Dereham. Once off the bus we waited for a bus to Great Yarmouth. A few minutes later we saw it was First Eastern Counties 33806 on a X1 to Great Yarmouth. We got on the bus and we flashed the FirstDay ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station and we ran down to Queens Road. We headed out of town along the A147 and we turned right onto Martineau Lane. We turned left onto the A146 and we headed South Eastwards. On the edge of the city we joined the Eastbound A47. We ran fast for around 10 miles and we veered left onto Norwich Road. We called into Acle and we ran through town, rejoining the Eastbound A47. We ran the last 8 or so miles to the edge of Great Yarmouth and we ran into town. We ran forwards onto Fuller's Hill and forward again onto Priory Plain. We ran into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus we looked to see what else we could catch. We saw First Eastern Counties 69046 parked up in between services. We decided to go towards Gorleston. A bus appeared and we saw it was it was First Eastern Counties 47502 on a #8 to James Paget Hospital. We turned right onto Stonecutters Way and we turned left onto Howard Street North. We ran into Market Place and we turned right onto Fuller's Hill. We stopped at the toilet and afterwards we crossed over Surrey Street. We turned right onto St Stephens Street where mum was waiting. We walked back into the shopping centre and up the stairs to the car park level. We got in the car and Matthew had a bottle of Irn Bru. We set off out of the shopping centre onto Malthouse Road and we ran Northwards to the end and turned left onto Theatre Street. We ran forwards onto Chapel Field North and and turned left onto the A147. We turned right onto the A11. We crossed over the roundabout and ran through Cringleford. We ran through Ketteringham and we saw Harry Shaw 84 COV going the other way. We continued into Wymondham and at the top of Attleborough we ran forwards into Quidenham. We crossed the Roudham and Larling and we ran fast for a couple of miles to Thetford. We continued down the A520 into Elveden and we ran through Barton Mills and into Red Lodge. We got onto the Northbound A14 and we crossed over the Newmarket Bypass and we went out of town Bottisham and through Horningsea. We ran through Milton and Impington we ran under the A14 and we ran over Longstanton. at the junction with the A14 and we visited Cambridge Services. We parked up and we walked through the services area and out the other side to see if there were any coahces there today. There were 3 coaches and first in the row was Peace Coaches YD21 NHU. Matthew went to the toilet and then we visited WH Smiths. He had a bottle of Coke and some wriggley worms and eggs. We got back in the car and we continued down the A14. As we travelled Southwards we saw an unidentified Simonds coach, an unidentified Dolphin Travel and an unidentified Maretts Chariots. We joined the Northbound M1. As we travelled Southwards we saw an unidentified Bill's Coach Hire coach, an unidentified Omega Coaches and an unidentified Crown Travel minibus. We ran North for around 20 miles and we got onto the Westbound A50. We ran to near to Uttoxeter and into Stoke-on-Trent. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we turned right onto Blurton Road. We ran through Heron Cross onto Heron Street and we followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road. We turned left onto Christchurch street and left again onto Masterson Street. We turned right onto Watkin Street and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. For a late tea Matthew had a chicken burger from KFC. He also had some fries and a cup of Coke. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We turned left onto Leisure Way and we stopped outside Tesco. After doing a u-turned at the next roundabout we turned left onto Foxburrow Hill. We continued Southwards into the centre of Lowestoft and we ran into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked to the shop. We set off into the shopping centre and we visited WH Smith. Matthew bought a small bottle of Coke and some chocolate. A short time later we saw First Eastern Counties 42914 on a #101 to Carlton Coalville. We got on the bus and we flashed First Day the tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Gordon Road and we turned right onto the Southbound A47. We crossed over The harbour entrance and we ran forwards onto the A12 past former petrol station that's now a new McDonalds. We continued to Asda where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over and waited for a bus back towards Lowestoft. A short time later we saw First Eastern Counties 36215 on a #99 to Lowestoft. We got on the bus and we flashed the First day ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off Northwards up the A12 and we crossed over the harbour entrance. We past the entrance to the railway station and we followed the A47 Northwards. At the roundabout we turned right onto Gordon Road before enerting the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. We returned to the bus station and Matthew used the toilet. Afterwards waited for the next #1 back to Great Yarmouth. A short time later we saw First Eastern Counties 37150 on a #1 to Great Yarmouth. We got on the bus and we flashed the FirstDay ticket at the driver before we went upstairs and we sat down towards the back off the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we travelled Westwards out of town. We joined the A47 and we ran through Swaffham. We continued along the A47 and we ran into Kings Lynn and into the bus station. After a short waited we left the bus station and went Westwards out of town. We re-joined the A47 and we ran through Wisbech and into Peterborough. We got into town and we ran to the Queensgate Interchange where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked to the car park and we drove Westwards out of town. Matthew had a bottle of Irn Bru and a sausage roll. We got on the Westbound A47 just outside of Peterborough. We continued to the edge Leicester and we took the Southern by-pass. We past Fosse Park and we joined the Northbound M1. We ran North for around 20 miles and we got onto the Westbound A50. We ran to near to Uttoxeter and into Stoke-on-Trent. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we turned right onto Blurton Road. We ran through Heron Cross onto Heron Street and we followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road. We turned left onto Christchurch street and left again onto Masterson Street. We turned right onto Watkin Street and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit.We went upstairs and Matthew had a can of Irn Bru.
