Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to stay fairly local. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 992. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. On the way we saw Afford rent-a-car HJ23 VGN parked up at their garage.

A short time later we saw a bus turn around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket on the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We followed the one-way system around onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland Street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we ran under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. After stopping briefly outside the railway station we turned right onto College Road and We turned left onto Avenue Road where we saw A1 Embassy YX17 ZZL. We turned right onto Stoke Road. We ran up through Shelton into Snow Hill and forwards onto Broad Street. We turned right onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Pall Mall. We ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67153 as it continued towards Trentham.

A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 47520 on a #3 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket on the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bu. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto Trinity Street and we went past the former RBS now a new shop. We turned left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams we followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Burslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street and we continued North onto the A50. We ran through Goldenhill and down the bank into Kidsgrove. We ran under the railway line into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34 and we saw City Centre Central WJ17 VGG. We continued into Church Lawton and then into Alsager. We continued Westwards along the B5077 under the M6 and into Radway Green. We followed the road to the right up Slaughter hill and we continued straight up into Haslington. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station and we continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into Gatefield Street. We turned right onto Victoria Street and we turned right onto the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We decide to head into town past the new multi-storey car park and along Victoria Street and we came out though the Market Shopping Centre and we past the site of the new Burger King. We conrinued Victoria Street. We went to the chip shop cafe on the corner and Matthew used the toilet. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gracy with bread and butter washed down with a glass of Coke. After we had finished we walked along Victoria Street and onto Lawrence Street We ran forwards onto Chester Street and we ran forwards onto onto Chester Square. We continued down the Flag Lane and we passed the building site where new Adventure Playground is being built. We walked Flag Lane and we conrinued Chester Square and we turned left onto Lawrence Street. We walked forwards onto Delamere Street and we saw Mikro Coaches HF54 HHJ on a #39 to Nantwich. A short time later we saw the bus arrived in the bus station. On closer inspection we saw it was First Potteries 63171 on a #3 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket on the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Delamere Street and we followed the road around onto Chester Bridge. We ran forwards onto Edleston Road and we turned left onto the A534. We ran past the railway station and we continued up towards Haslington we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over the road to the stop opposite to wait for the next #3 towards Hanley. few minutes later we saw our bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63356 on a #3 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket on the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus and we set off along the B5077. We turned right onto Slaughter Hill and we ran back through Radway Green and into Alsager. We continued over the A34 and into Staffordshire and we ran under the railway line into Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and we continued into Sandyford. We joined Tunstall High Street where we saw City Centre Central PO14 OKZ in the depot. We continued down the High Street and we ran through the town centre and joined Scotia Road near to Asda. We ran up into Burslem town centre. We ran past the site of the new Kiln Gate Retail park and we continued into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road to Town Road and we ran into Hanley. We ran down Quadrant Road and forwards onto Stafford Street. We ran across the shared space past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street. We ran forwards into the bus station. We got off the bus and we waited for a bus to Newcastle. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67142 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket on the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC. We ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went down to the bottom end of the bus station and we saw Arriva Midlands 2964 on a #64 to Market Drayton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63172 on a #99 to Chell. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket on the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee roundabout onto the A527 and headed through Wolstanton. We turned right onto Porthill Bank and we we went down the hill and over the A500. We went through Middleport and at Trubshaw Cross we went left onto Brownhills Road. We joined Tunstall High Street and at the top of the Road we got up and got off the bus. We went to Tunstall Cafe and Matthew used the toilet. Afterwards he had a can of Coke and a slice of chocolate cake with squirty cream. When we had finished we crossed the road and we waited for a bus back to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw a Newcastle bus round the corner. It was First Potteries 41498 on a #99 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down the High Street and we stopped at the bottom before joining Brownhills Road. We ran down the hill to Trubshsaw Cross and we continued straight through Longport and over the A500. We went up Porthill Bank and we followed the A527 through Wolstanton & May Bank and into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station. As we got off the bus. We had intended to go across to The Jolly Potter to have a drink, but this is temporarily closed for refurbishment. Matthew used the toilet. A shoirt time later another bus came in. We saw it was D&G Bus 157 on a #9 to Biddulph. We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the the grounds. We turned right onto Hilton Road. At the roundabout we went left onto Newcastle Lane and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked into the centre of Penkhull and we went to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we went outside and onto Princes Street. There wasn't a bus for about 20 minutes so we startd to walk towards Hartshill. We stopped at the other end and we waited for a bus there. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 27 on a #9 to Clayton. A few minutes later we saw our bus approaching. As approached we saw it was D&G Bus 781 on a #9 to Biddulph. We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the Princes Street. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran down into Stoke. We passed through Church Street and the bus topped in the town centre. After a brief stop we continued over the A500. after running under the railway line we followed the A52 around to the left running parallel to the railway line. We then turned left onto to station Road. railway station and due to roadworks we ran to the end of Station Road and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road and we ran up the hill through Shelton. We continued onto Cleveland Road and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we continued along Bethesda Street before turning right onto John Street. We ran up the hill into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet nd afterwards we waited for a bus to Biddulph. A short time later the bus came on stand and we saw it was First Potteries 63362 on a #7A to Biddulph. We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road past the Tesco Express store. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527 through Brindley Ford. We turned left to run through Brown Lees. We crossed over the A527 at Knypersley and we ran around through the housing estates of Biddulph before running into town via St John's Road, Colliers Way. We ran past the building site and we turned right up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked around the cornber onto the High Street and we visited the Royal Oak pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we had a glass of Coke each. We went further down the High Street and we stopped at the kebab house. We brought a couple of portions of fries and a couple of cans. We walked back up the High Street and into Wharf Road. We sat on the bench and Matthew ate his fries washed down with a can of Dr Pepper. After we had finished eating we stood at the stop and waited for the bus back to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was D&G Bus 160 on a #9 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the High Street and we turned left at the roundabout onto St John's Road. We ran around the estate and we crossed over the A527 and we ran down through Brindley Ford into Fegg Hayes. We turned left onto Oxford Road and we ran forwards into Chell Heath. We passed Matthew's old school site which is going to be a new sheltered housing site. We ran through Bradeley to the traffic lights. We turned right and we ran up the hill through Smallthorne and right again onto Ford Green Road past the pub which which is not going to be a new Wetherspoons pub. At the top of the hill we turned left onto the A5272 and into Hanley. We ran into town along Town Road and we crossed over the ring road. We turned right onto Quadrant Road and we went under the Intu Potteries shopping centre. We ran forwards onto Stafford Street and we passed the town hall. We ran along Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus and Matthew used the toilet and afterwards, we had arranged with mum to get meet up near to the bus station. We crossed over Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ring road and we got in the car and we went to Blurton. We set off onto Lichfield Street and we ran down to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and as we ran towards Stoke. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned right onto City Road and right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his roon to watch TV and chill out. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. He also ate the a toffee Crisp. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Matthew got his face mask and bag and got ready to go. We came around 11:30 and we saw white minibus MT08 LVX.

Matthew came downstairs and got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. We checked the bag and Matthew realised that he had no batteries so we returned to the residential unit to pick them up. We set off onto Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove. We turned right onto Blurton Road and at the roundabout we joined the Eastbound A50. We ran through Longton and Meir. We came off the A50 and we turned left at roundabout onto the Northbound A520. We ran through Weston Coyney and we continued up to Cellarhead. We crossed over the A52 and we continued North through Wetley Rocks. We stopped at Truckers Tucker for dinner. Matthew had a breakfast box with toast and oatcakes washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we continued Northwards up the A520 through Cheddleton and Leekbrook and under the railway line up to Ipstones. We ran up the hill and towards Leek town centre. We travelled 'straight outta Compton' and across the traffic lights into St Edwards Street and we turned left onto the A523. We ran down the hill past Sainsburys and then up the hill towards Rudyard lake and through Rushton Spencer. We continued through Bosley over the A54 and into Macclesfield. We passed the Moss Rose football stadium and we ran into town. We joined the A536 and we made a wrong turning into Park Lane. We did a u-turn and we ran down to Sutherland Street. We ran past the railway station and then we turned right under the railway. We turned left onto the A523 and we turned left onto the A536 at the next junction. We turned left onto Jordangate. We ran down towards the town hall where we parked up. We said goodbye to mum and we set off towards the town hall. We walked down Church Street and then back up the hill along Queen Victoria Street. When we got to the bus station we saw Arriva NW&W 4708 on a #3 to Weston. A few minutes later the bus to Congleton arrive. It was Arriva NW&W 3161. We got on and we brought Arriva Day Saver tickets before we sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station and we ran through town onto the A536. We ran out of town through Warren in Rode Heath. We ran to the edge of town and we turned left onto the A54. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked down onto Market Street and we turned right onto Bridge Street past of the old RBS bank a new use. We continued along Bridge Street and we visited WH Smith. We brought a couple of bottle of soft drinks and 3 chocolate bars. We walked onto Walked Street and Matthew visited the toilet at the top end of the bus station. We returned to the bus stop and Matthew ate a Bounty. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As expected it was Arriva NW&W 2933 on a #38 to Crewe. We got on and we brought Arriva Day Saver tickets before we sat down. the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned right onto the A34. We ran North through Lower Heath. We turned right onto the A538. We ran Northwards up to Eaton. We ran north through Rodeheath and Highlane up towards Gawsworth past the A 2 B Taxis. We continued along A536 and we ran into Sutherland Street. We turned left into Waters Green where we saw Andrews PJ03 TFF. We into Queen Victoria Street. When we got to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards, we had a look around to see what we could catch next. we spotted Arriva NW&W 709 on a #10 to Bollington. We got on the bus and we booked the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and across Mill Street onto Roe Street. We turned right onto Chuchill Way and we turned right onto the A537. We turned left onto the A538 and we ran north through Tytherington. We turned right onto Brocklehurst Way and we turned left onto Tytherington Drive. We turned left onto Marlborough Drive and we turned right onto the A538. We turned right onto Tytherington Lane and we continued onto Bollington Road and we ran forwards onto Henshall Road. We went over Wellington Road and we ran into Bollington along Palmerston Street we got up and we got off. Once off the bus we walked up to Palmerston Street onto Wellington Road and we went to The Little Dessert Shop. For afters Matthew had a red velvet cheesecake with custard. when we had finished we walked along Wellington Road onto Palmerston Street. We waited at the bus stop for a bus to Macclesfield. A short time later we saw a bus turned the corner. When it got closer we saw it was Go-Goodwin 1949 on a #392 to Macclesfield. Right behind this was the #10 service. It was dud Arriva NW&W 707. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along Palmerston Street and we continued onto Wellington Road. We continued onto Henshall Road and we ran forwards onto Bollington Road and we continued onto Tytherington Lane. We carried on up A538 and we ran north through Tytherington. We turned left onto Marlborough Drive and we turned right onto Tytherington Drive. We turned right onto Brocklehurst Way and we turned left onto the A538. We turned right onto the A537 and we turned left onto Churchill Way. We turned left onto the A536 and we ran into Sunderland Street where we saw MP Travel ME10 BUS. We turned left onto Queen Victoria and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we waited at the north end of the bus station watching buses come into the bus station whilst we decided what to catch next. We saw required High Peak Solo 281 on a #60 to Hayfield. A few minutes later we saw required Arriva NW&W 3160 on a #38 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we booked the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we ran through town onto the A536. We ran out of town through Warren in Rode Heath. We ran to the edge of town and we turned left onto the A54 and we entered the bus station and onto market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned left onto Mill Street and we climbed the hill, turning right onto West Street. At the roundabout we went straight onto the A34 and at the following junction we went straight ahead onto the A534. We went out of town through West Heath and then out into open countryside. We crossed the A50 at the Arclid crossroads and we passed a large lake. It was now bright sunshine as we crossed the M6, where we saw an unidentified National Holidays coach going North. On the west side of the m6 we left the A534 and turned right onto Congleton Road and we ran into Sandbach Common. After a brief stop we continued on our journey. After a brief stop we went Westwards out of the town onto Crewe Road and through Wheelock. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock Heath and Winterly, passed the pond. We continued into Haslington and we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the road and waited at the bus stop for the next bus back to Congleton. A few minutes later it appeared and it was Arriva NW&W 3161 on a #38 to Congleton. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva NW&W Day Saver ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along Crewe Road and Winterley and further North through Wheelock Heath. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock. We ran over the canal and into Sandbach town center past Sandbach School. When we got to the Common onto Congleton Road. We joined the A534 and past the site of the new development by the M6. We continued along the A534 and we crossed over the M6 and into open countryside. We carried on through open countryside and we crossed over the Arclid crossroads. On the edge of Congleton we joined the A34 and we ran East along the road for a short while before going onto West Street. We entered town along Antrobus Street, Mill Street and Mountbatten Way. We turned right into Market Street, past the Bear Grills cafe and into the bus station. We got off. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 2933 as expected. We went into Morrisons where Matthew used the toilet. Once we came out we spotted mum in the car park and we headed over to her. At the car Matthew had a can of Irn Bru. We set off out of the car park onto Market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned right onto the A34. We stopped at the chip shop and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. We sat in the car and ate the food before re-joining the A34 and through Talke down to the A500. At Talke we got onto the Southbound A500 and we ran through Longtport and Etruria into Stoke. We came off the A500 and we veered left onto Whieldon Road. We dropped uncle Dave off and we continued up Whieldon Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went to his room to chill out and use his computer. later on he had a slice of Millionaire's Shortbread. Matthew looked at buses on the Internet and watched the television. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Later on we went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. On the way to the bus stop we saw Afford rent-a-car YM69 FSV at their garage. We continued to the bus stop and we waited for a bus towards Shelton. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 43876 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Shelton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we saw ABC Supreme YS66 VRK. we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and due to roadworks we ran to the end of Station Road and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we we walked down College Road and we stopped at the barbers. Matthew had his hair cut and afterwards we set off up College Road towards Hanley. We turned right onto Cleveland road and left onto Lower Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we walked to the bus station. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we visited the Spar shop. We sat on the tables outside and he had a toffee cake and he drank a bottle of Coke. We went outside the bus station and we saw First Potteries 63100 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton we sat down. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off at the Travers Court bus stop outside the block of flats. Once off the bus we walked onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. we went upstairs to his room to chill out. whilst there he ate a sausage roll. Later on we went out in a car. We went downstairs and we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and we ran up the hill towards Hanley. We ran anti-clockwise around the ring road and we turned left onto Etruria Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto the Westbound along the A53. We crossed over the A500 and we ran through Basford into Newcastle. We ran around the one-way system and at the roundabout we went straight across onto the A52. We turned right onto the A34 and we ran North through Cross Heath. We turned left onto the B5500 and into Chesterton. We ran up Crackley bank and through Red Street. We crossed over the A500 and we joined the Northbound A34 again. We travelled North to the Toby Carvery and we went straight on towards Rode Heath. We ran North upto the A50 and we continued North to Holmes Chapel. Just South of the town we joined the Westbound A54 and we ran over the M6 and into Middlewich. We continued West out of town and into Winsford. We crossed over the river and into the town and up the hill. We parked up just off the High Street and we walked back to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Sandbach. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 2602 on a #37A to Sandbach. We got on the bus and we booked Arriva NW&W Day Saver tickets at £5.50 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down the A34 and across the main roundabout onto the Southbound A54. We veered left onto Station Road and we ran along the narrow street towards Middlewich. At the roundabout we ran forwards into Wisford railway station. We did a lap of the car park and back out onto the main road. We turned right onto the A54 and we crossed over the railway line. We continued East for around 2 miles and we came into the West end of Middlewich. We ran around the one-way system and left onto the A54. onto A530 and we ranaround the one-way system before turning left onto the A54. After a brief stop at the main bis stop we turned right onto the A533. We turned right onto Long Lane South and right onto Warmingham Lane. We ran through the estate and we turned left Cross Lane. We turned right and we re-joined the Southbound A533. We ran alongside of the canal and into Sandbach through Elworth. We turned left Hightown and at the next roundabout we ran forwards on Congleton Road. We turned right onto The Commons and we ran onto the other side of the triangle where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Congleton Road towards the M6 and we went to see the site where the new McDonalds, hotel, offices, coffee shop and a pub will be built. We walked back up Congleton Road towards the centre of town and we waited for a bus towards Haslington. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 2489 on a #37 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we Flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the common and we went Westwards out of the town onto Crewe Road and through Wheelock. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock Heath and Winterly, passed the pond. We continued into Haslington and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over the road to the stop opposite to wait for the next #3 towards Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw Arriva NW&W 4422 on a #38 to Macclesfield. A few minutes later we saw our bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67658 on a #3 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked a First Potteries Network Day ticket at £7. We also brought a single to the the Staffordshire border which cost an astonishing £5. We sat down towards the back of the bus and we set off along Crewe Road. We turned right onto Slaughter Hill and we ran forwards onto the B5077. We continued through Radway Green into Alsager and we continued along the B5077. We crossed over the A34 and we ran down the A50 towards Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and we continued into Sandyford. We joined Tunstall High Street and then we ran around the town centre and joined Scotia Road near to Asda. We ran up into Burslem and we continued along the A50 into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road to Town Road and we ran into Hanley. We ran down Quadrant Road and forwards onto Stafford Street. We ran across the shared space past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street. We ran forwards into the bus station. We got off the bus and we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 43877 on a #23 to Newstead. we got on the bus and we booked to Fenton and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car YM69 FSV. we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to watch buses and wait for me to pick him up and go out for tea. Whilst waiting we saw First Potteries 67649 on a #11 to Newcastle. I turned up about 16:30 and picked up a few batteries and we went downstairs to the car. We set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500 and we saw Global Travel BIG 8768. We went around the one-way system. We ran up the hill into Hartshill and we continued to the edge of Newcastle. We turned right into Albert Street and we crossed over the A53 onto Sandy Lane. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A527. We ran through Wolstanton and we crossed over the roundabout onto Bradwell Lane and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. For tea Matthew had a burger and chips followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Once we had finished eating we set off onto Bradwell Lane and we crossed over the roundabout and ran through Wolstanton. We ran forwards onto the A527 and we ran into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we ran past the bus station. We continued onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. Travelling up towards Hartshill. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went up to Matthew's room and we wrote some of the Blog. Matthew also drank a bottle of Irn Bru. After doing a couple of entries I left and Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in residential and we were going to take him out for the day. Matthew had expressed a wish to go and see POPS double decker 766 at Winsford for it's booked attendance at the Ford's of Winsford 60th anniversary event. I contacted a senior member off POPS and asked if it would be possible for us to travel up on the bus and they agreed that we could. Matthew got up around 06:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. I came to pick him up just before 07:30 as the booked departure time from the bus garage was 07:50. Matthew got ready and we went downstairs to the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto City Road and we saw D&G Bus 27 running out of service. We ran forwards onto King Street and through Foley into Longton. We went under the the railway line into Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We went up the hill and down the other side into Adderley Green. We turned left by the bus garage and at the next roundabout we turned left and headed into the estate. We parked up next to the publice footpath and we walked up the the back end of the bus garage. We saw new arrival First Potteries 65692 parked up at the back of the garage. We walked along the path at the side of the garage and to the bus stop on the A5272 outside the front of the garage. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching, and as expected it was preserved PMT 766.

We got on the bus and we were greeted by the senior POPS member. The bus was empty except for him and the driver so we were able to sit where we wanted to. We went upstairs and Matthew took a picture inside PMT 766.

We set off along the A5272 and we headed into Bentilee. We passed Free Spirits FJ55 PVY parked up at the side of the road. We continued forwards into Bucknall. We joined the A52 and we ran up to Limekiln traffic lights. We ran forwards onto the A5272 and we followed it to the left and through Northwood. We continued through Birches Head and Sneyd Green. We stopped briefly by Central Forest Park and we continued up to Smallthorne roundabouts. We ran forwards onto High Lane and we ran to the end. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A527. We ran through Turnhurst and Pitshill down to the North end of Tunstall. We turned right onto the A50 and we headed through Sandyford into Kidsgrove. We crossed the A34 and we ran up to Church Lawton. We followed the A50 to the right and we veered left onto the A533. We ran through Rode Heath and we crossed over the M6 near to the Sandbach Services. We ran around the South Side of Sandbach town centre and continued along the A533 through Elworth Past Sandbach railway station. We ran alongside the canal into Middlewich town centre and we turned left onto the A54. We ran through the town centre and around the one-way system. and Westwards along the A54 out of town. We crossed over the railway line by Winsford railway station and we continued to the bottom of town. At the main roundabout we went forwards onto New Road. It must have been a wrong turning because after about 1/2 the driver turned the bus around. There was not a great deal along this road except a few industrial units and what appeared to be a virtual rock salt quarry. We returned to the big roundabout and we turned left onto the A5018. At the next roundabout we turned left onto Weaver Valley Road. We arrived at the Ford garage and there were thousands of cars! A representative of the garage came out and guided the driver backwards through a very narrow gate. We reverse up to the main building and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a look around at the other cars and Matthew used the toilet. We made arrangement with the POPS member that we would either hang around for 8 hours until the end of the day or we would make our own way back and message him if we no longer required to return on the bus. We got a POPS membership form and we had a look around at the other vehicles there were on display. These included a few cars from the 1980's and older, a fire engine, the original Ghost Busters car and a F1 racing car. Once we had seen the other vehicles on display we set off out of the garage onto Weaver Valley Road. just past the garage was the entrance to a park. We decided to walk through the park. Just inside the park was a large rock and we decided to sit and have a sausage roll. Matthew also had a drink of Irn Bru. When we had finished eating we carried on through the park. We continued down the path and we came out very near to the main roundabout in town. We crossed the roundabout and over the River Weaver and we walked up onto High Street. We cut across onto the A54 and we waited at the bus stop for the next Southbound bus. Whilst we were at the bus stop we saw Arriva NW&W double decker 4164 on a #29 and Arriva NW&W 3159 on a #31 to Northwich. A short time later we saw our bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was dud Arriva NW&W 2612 on a #37A to Sandbach.

We set off down the A34 and across the main roundabout onto the Southbound A54. We veered left onto Station Road and we ran along the narrow street towards Middlewich. Once the bus had gone we walked up At Michaels way onto Newton Bank. As we got to the food van by the Golden Lion Matthew decided he wanted to go the the toilet. We went to the pub but as it was still early the pub was still closed. We crossed over the road and we went to the Morrison's store. When Matthew had finished we attempted to but a bottle of pop but they hadn't got any bottle in the fridge by the cigarette counter that Matthew would actually drink! We crossed back over the road and we sat down at the food van in the pub car park. Matthew had a bacon bap washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished eating we walked onto the A54 on the Western edge of town. We found the bus stop using Google Maps is there was an actual physical stop on either side of the road. We looked at google for the next bus departure and we had around 20 minutes to wait. Matthew sat of the grass verge in the sunshine and chilled whilst we waited for the bus. Around 20 minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was required Arriva NW&W 3159 on a #37A to Sandbach.

We set off onto A530 and we ranaround the one-way system before turning left onto the A54. After a brief stop at the main bis stop we turned right onto the A533. Matthew went to the toilet and on the way back we visited McColls. He brought a can of Coke and a couple of chocolate bars as well as a drumstick lolly. We came out off the shop and back to the bus stop. A few minutes later we saw Arriva NW&W 4490 on a #38 to Crewe.

We let this Crewe bus go and we found a shady spot in which to sit. Matthew had a bottle of Fanta orange and ate his drumstick lolly. Whilst we waited for the next bus to Crewe we saw Arriva NW&W 4489 on a #38 to Macclesfield. I nipped to the toilet and we sat in the shade until just before the bus was due. A few minutes later we saw the bus drive around the common. It was dud Arriva NW&W 2611 on a #37 to Crewe.

We sat down towards the back of the bus and we set off along Crewe Road. We turned right onto Slaughter Hill and we ran forwards onto the B5077. Once we crossed into Staffordshire we got up and got off the bus. We watched the bus continue Southwards and we walked towards Kidsgrove town centre. As we headed towards the railway bridge uncle Dave pointed out the canal tavern which uncle Dave had taken a picture of on a previous occasion. This prompted Matthew to decided he wanted to visit the pub. Matthew visited the toilet and afterwards we got a glass of Coke and we sat outside on a bench by the canal. Once we had finished the drinks we returned the glasses to the bar and we set off along the canal towards Kidsgrove. We came off the canal onto the car park at Kidsgrove railway station and we walked onto the A50. We turned We walked to the junction and we turned right onto The Avenue. We decided we would catch a 4A to Hanley. There was a bus due in a few minutes so we chilled out at the bus stop until it turned up. A short while later we saw the bus come around the corner and it was First Potteries 65732 on a #4A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and place the First Potteries Newtwork Day tickets under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along The Avenue. We turned left onto Lower Ash Road and right onto Mitchell Avenue. We turned left onto Harecastle Avenue and we turned left onto The A34. We ran up to the traffic lights and we crossed over the junction on Coalpit Hill. We ran forwards onto Swan Bank and we turned left onto Chester Road. We ran around the estate and we Ashenough Road. We turned left onto Monument Road and left onto High Street. We ran down to the roundabout and we ran forwards onto Talke Road. We ran through Red Street and we saw a few minibuses at the community centre including FN08 AXK. We continued down Crackley Bank to Dragon Square and into Chesterton. We ran down the High Street and we turned left onto Wolstanton Road. At the roundabout we joined the Southbound A34. We ran through Milehouse and as we headed towards Newcastle we were passed by Abbott's of Leeming coach XL13 AOL. We turned left onto Liverpool Road and left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto barracks Road and we entered Newcastle bus station. After a brief stop we set off onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We ran into Hanley and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went down to the appropriate stop to wait for a bus to Adderley Green. Matthew had a can of Coke and a chocolate bar whilst we waited for the next bus. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67633 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we placed the First Potteries Network Day ticket under the scanner for the final time for today before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and down the hill past the car park. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We ran around the ring road and we turned right onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. We ran forwards onto the A52 and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over the road and we walked down the side of the depot. At the back of the depot was First Potteries 67647.

We walked along the footpath behind the housing estate and back to the car. Once at the car we set off through the housing estate and past Lidl onto the A5272. We ran past the bus garage and we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran up and over the hill and down into Longton. We turned left onto Market Street and we followed the one-way system around onto Commerce Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto The Strand and we ran through Longton and under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew decided he wanted to go to the shop when we got out of the car so he brought a can of Coke and a Milky Way. We returned to the residential unit and we went upstairs to his room. We said goodbye and Matthew chilled out on his computer. For tea Matthew had chicken nuggets and chips followed by a Manchester Tart. Later on Matthew went out. We went downstairs and he got in a car. We set off onto Temple Street amd we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. We crossed over the roundabout at Joiners Square onto Lichfield Street and the taxi stopped near to the bus station. We set off on foot up Lichfield Street and we ran forwards onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto Trinity Street and we turned right onto Foundry Street and we stopped at the pub. Matthew had a drink of Coke and spent an hour or two listening to music and dancing. When it was time to go home we walked along Foundry Street. We turned left onto Trinity Street and right onto Stafford Street. We continued onto Lichfield Street and we called for a taxi. We were picked up by an Intercity taxi. We ran along Birch Terrace and forwards onto Charles Street. We turned right onto Old Hall Street and we turned right onto the ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we ran forwards onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto Manor Street and right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Later on Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. Matthew also found out about the end of the D&G Bus #77 service. As a result of the Cheshire East Council Supported Bus Service Review, this service will be withdrawn. New service 318 will operate between Alsager, Kidsgrove and Congleton. Matthew was also going out on the bus today. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We saw First Potteries 63171 on a #11 to Hanley.

A few minutes later the bus to Newcastle appeared and it was dud First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw required First Potteries 67653 on a #18 to Leek. We got on the bus and we booked to Leek before we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto john Street and we ran down the hill to Bethesda Street. We ran past the museum and we ran forwards onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity street and at the top of the hill we turned left onto Stafford Street. We ran forwards onto Quadrant Road and we went across the ring road along Town Road. We ran forwards onto the A5272 and into Sneyd Green. We turned right onto Milton Road and we ran down the hill before turning left onto Berwick Road. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A53. We ran North through Badderley Green and into Stockton Brook. We continued into Endon and then we ran out into open countryside. We climbed the hill into Longsdon and we ran down Ladderedge into the Churnet Valley. We ran up the hill into the town centre and we turned right into Leonard Street. We turned into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once we were in Leek we walked into the town centre to get something to eat. We walked through the arcade onto the A53 and we turned left onto the A523. We turned left at Derby Street and we went to the Coffee Bean Café. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished eating we returned to the bus station. We caught Aimee's MX04 VLP on the #109 to Macclesfield. We got on the bus and we booked to Macclesfield before sitting down towards the back of the bus. we set off out of the bus station onto the A523 and we turned left and went through the town centre. We continued down the valet past Sainsbury's and we climbed out of Leek towards Rudyard lake. We continued into Ruston Spencer before We crossed over the A54 at Bosley and we continued North into Macclesfield. In town we continued onto the A536 and we turned left onto Sunderland Street. We turned left onto Queen Victoria and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw Arriva NW&W 2931 on a #130 to Manchester. A few minutes later the bus to Congleton arrive. It was Arriva NW&W 4422. We got on the bus and we booked to Congleton. This was a bus we had been on before in Birkenhead back in September 2011. we got on and booked to Congleton before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station and we ran through town onto the A536. We ran out of town through Warren in Rode Heath. We ran to the edge of town and we turned left onto the A54. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Whilst we waited for the next bus we saw D&G 51 on a #318 to Alsager. We walked around the corner to Chatwins and Matthew had a Battenburg cake and a can of Coke. We walked around the corner to the bus station and we waited for a bus forwards to Haslington. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was Arriva NW&W 2930 on a #38 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we booked to Haslington before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned left onto Mill Street and we climbed the hill, turning right onto West Street. At the roundabout we went straight onto the A34 and at the following junction we went straight ahead onto the A534. We went out of town through West Heath and then out into open countryside. We crossed the A50 at the Arclid crossroads and we passed a large lake. It was now bright sunshine as we crossed the M6, where we saw an unidentified National Holidays coach going North. On the west side of the m6 we left the A534 and turned right onto Congleton Road and we ran into Sandbach Common where we saw D&G 53 on a #317 to Alsager. After a brief stop we continued on our journey. After a brief stop we went Westwards out of the town onto Crewe Road and through Wheelock. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock Heath and Winterly, passed the pond. We continued into Haslington and we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the road and waited at the bus stop for the next bus back to Hanley. A few minutes later it appeared and it was First Potteries 67654 on a #3 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Slaughter Hill and we ran forwards onto the B5077. We continued through Radway Green into Alsager and we continued along the B5077. We crossed over the A34 and we ran down the A50 into Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and down onto High Street through Tunstall. We continued down the High Street an we turned left onto Williamson Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto Scotia Road and past the old bus garage before running up the hill into Burslem Town centre. We ran through the light onto Waterloo Road and up the hill into Cobridge. We ran down the hill towards Hanley and then up into town along Hope Street and Stafford Street. We turned right at the end past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street before entering the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw D&G 165 on a #16 to Leek. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67152 on the #23 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto john Street. At the bottom of the hill we turned left onto Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road. We continued to the end of Bethedsa Street and we turned right onto Regent Road. We ran forwards onto College Road and we ran down the hill through Shelton. We turned left onto Station Road and we stopped briefly outside the railway station. At the end of station road we turned right onto Glebe Street. We ran onto the one-way system and we followed it onto Church Street. After crossing over the A500 we ran under the railway line onto City Road. We ran up the hill and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. When we got to Albert Square we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window. for tea Matthew had pasta and sauce followed by a Bakewell Tart. Matthew returned to his room to chill out. We saw City Cabs LB11 LVV going towards Longton.

Matthew used his computer and watched television in his room. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
