Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Market Drayton and Shrewsbury. In light of the weather forecast it was perhaps a sunny. We didn't do any research for the trip other than to check the weather. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

We went downstairs. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. we stopped at the benches at the end to eat the Cadbury Fudge and drink the can of Coke. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Newstead. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Masterson Street and we saw Ex Arnold Clark, Community Link Stafford SG68 MEV. We crossed over Smithpool Road onto Ashworth Street and we turned right onto Napier Street. We turned left onto City Road and we walked down to the bus stop to wait for a bus to Stoke. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 69154 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked a First Potteries Network Day ticket at £7. We also brought a single to the the Staffordshire border which cost an astonishing £5. We sat down towards the back of the bus and we set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Church Street and we visited the Stoke Cafe. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we set off onto Church Street and we walked up to the Newcastle bus stop. Whilst we waited for the bus we saw First Potteries 63178 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we flashed the Network Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards the hospital. A short time later we saw Arriva Midlands 2959 on a #164 to Market Drayton. we got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Midlands Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus before the bus set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A34 and at the next roundabout we turned left onto the A53. We ran out of Newcastle and under the M6 and over the A5182 roundabout. We ran through Whitmore and Baldwins Gate and we turned left onto Sandy Lane. We veered right onto Woodside and we ran to the end into Chorlton Hill. We turned right onto the A51 and we ran Westwards past the A53 junction and the Swan with Two Necks. We turned left past The Croft and we re-joined the A53 further down the road. We turned left onto Church Road and we ran into Ashley onto Gravelly Hill. We rejoined the A53 and we ran into Loggerheads. We continued along the A53 and we veered left onto Newcastle Road. We ran into Market Drayton and we turned right onto Smithfield Road. We turned left onto Frogmore Road and we entered market Drayton bus station. We had a 30 minute break here and Matthew decided to visit the adjacent public toilet. The toilets were right by the entrance. Once we had used the facilities we walked back into the bus station we looked for nsomething suitable to catch and we spotted Arriva Midlands 2501 on a #64 to Shrewsbury. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Midlands Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus before the bus set off out off the bus station. We re-joined Frogmore Road and we turned right at the end onto Shropshire Street. We continued forwards onto Shrewsbury Road and at the end we re-joined the Southbound A53. We continued down to the A41 and we turned right. We turned left onto the A53 and we headed South. a few miles down the road we turned right to run into another village before returning to the A53. We continued through Shabury and past Harlescott and into Shrewsbury town centre. We went under the railway line and we turned right onto the A458. We came up alongside the river and we turned left into the bus station. Once off the bus we crossed over to the layover area. We saw Arriva Midlands 2402 on a #19 to Telford. we got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Midlands Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus before the bus set off out off the bus station onto the A458 and we joined the A528. We turned right onto the A5191. We went around the English Bridge Gyratory and we crossed over the bridge. We ran forwards onto Abbey Foregate. We turned right onto A5064 and we continued onto Emstrey. We carried on up A5064 were we passed Arriva Midlands 2143 on the #19 to Shrewsbury. We continued onto Emstrey Bank and we ran past Salop Leisure Centre. We headed through Atcham and we ran forwards onto the B5061. We went into Wroxeter and we went through Lower Longwood. We ran into Overley and we continued along the B4380. We ran through Leighton and we went through Buildwas. We crossed over the A4169 and we turned right onto Much Wenlock Road. We turned left into Buildwas Road and we turned onto Wharfage. We ran up the hill and into Coalbrookdale. We turned left into Dale End. We ran forwards onto Wellington Road. We ran forwards onto Jiggers Bank and we ran into Horsehay. We turned right onto the A4169. We turned right onto Lightmoor Way and we ran forwards onto Little Flint. We turned left onto Little Meadow Mews and we ran forwards onto Ellens Bank. We ran forwards onto Wellington Road and we climbed the hill into Horsehay. We ran forwards onto Bridge Road and we ran forwards onto Station Road. We turned left onto Springhill Road and We ran into Heath Hill and we ran forwards Dawley Road. We ran down into Lawley and we turned right onto Proctor Ave. We turned left onto Bryce Way before turning right onto the ring road. We ran down into Lawley Bank and we turned left onto Station Road. We ran down the hill towards Overdale and we turned right into Milners Lane. We ran up Concorde and we turned left onto Bank Road. We ran forwards onto Cemetery Road and we turned right Milners Lane. We turned right onto West Centre Way and we ran towards Telford and we turned right at the roundabout onto Malinsgate wehere we saw Arriva Midlands 2503 on the #19 to Shrewsbury. We ran onto Northfield Street and we entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we decided to catch something quite quickly. The old entrance to the shopping centre so we walked up and down to try and find a way into the shopping centre. We went out of the bus station where we saw Arriva Midlands 3331 on the #4 to Madeley. we visited Costa Coffee. Matthew had a piece of millionaire's shortbread and a cup of Coke. Once we had used the facilities we walked back into the bus station we looked for nsomething suitable to catch and we spotted Arriva Midlands 3693 on a X5 to Shrewsbury. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Midlands Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Northfield Street. We turned right onto Hall Park Way and we ran down to the motorway. We joined Westbound M54 and forwards onto the A5. We ran fast for around 20 minutes to the edge of Shrewsbury on to the Southern by-pass. We turned right onto A5064 and we headed Northwards into town. We ran past Lord Hill's Column. We ran forwards onto Abbey Foregate. We went around the English Bridge Gyratory and we crossed over the bridge. We ran forwards onto Wyle Cop. We followed the one-way system around town and we turned right onto Barker Street. We turned right onto the A458 and we turned right into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over to the layover area. We saw Arriva Midlands 2148 on a #19 to Telford. We stood by the #64 stop and we watched buses coming and going from the bus station. On stand we saw Arriva Midlands 2518 on a #8 to Sutton Farm. We looked up the time of the next #24 or #25 bus up to Harlescott. A few minutes later we saw Arriva Midlands 2977 on a #24 to Harlescott. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Midlands Day Saver ticket to the driver for what turned out to be the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw Arriva Midlands 3512 on a X70 to Oswestry. We set off of the bus station onto the A458. We joined the A528 and we followed the one-way system under the railway line. We turned left onto the A5191 and we ran Northwards. We turned right onto Newpark Road. We turned left onto Sultan Road and at the end we re-joined the Northbound A5191. We ran North to the roundabout and we turned right on the B5062. We turned left onto Featherbed Lane and right onto Alberbury Drive. We follwed the road through the estate and we turned right onto Featherbed Lane. We turned right onto Arlington Way and we crossed over the A5191 and we ran forwards onto road past the bus garage and Tesco. We stopped behind Tesco and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we we walked up towards the car. On the way we saw Arriva Midlands 2973 on a Park & Ride service. Matthew wanted to go to the toilet, but the toilet block by the Park & Ride was locked up. We got in the car and we drove to KFC. Matthew used the toilet but the KFC app didn't work in the store because there was no wifi! We got back in the car. We set off out off the Park & Ride sight onto the Northbound A5112. We joined the Northbound A53 and we ran into Bangor. We stopped at the McDonalds in the cente of town. Matthew ate burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When I had finished eating we continued towards home. We set off onto the A53 and we travelled through Upper Astley for around 5 miles and into Shawbury. As we ran up towards Market Drayton we passed an unidentified Alfa coach. We ran along the Market Drayton by-pass and we continued Northwards towards Loggerheads. we crossed over the A51 and up through Whitmore. We ran Northwards towards Newcastle and we turned right onto Trentham Road. We turned left onto the A519. We joined the Northbound A500 and we ran up towards Sideway. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we came off at Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through the lights onto Heron Street. We continued onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We ran to the end of the road and we got out. We walked around the corner onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Matthew also drank a can of Cherry Coke. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

A few minutes later we saw Arriva Midlands 2985 on a #436 to Harlescott. we got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Midlands Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus before the bus set off out off the bus station onto the A458. We joined the A528 and we turned right onto the A5191. We went around the English Bridge Gyratory and we crossed over the bridge. We ran forwards onto Abbey Foregate. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A458. We ran into Cross Houses and we ran through Cressage and we continued onto Sheinton Road. Once off the bus we walked up to A458 and we turned left onto High Street. We turned right into Barrow Street and we walked onto High Street. We went around the corner to The George & Dragon Inn. Matthew went to the toilet and we brought a glass of Coke. We walked back onto High Street. We walked to the end of High Street and we stopped at the benches at the end to eat the Freddo Caramel bar and drink the can of barr cherryade. We walked onto Bridgnorth Road. and we waited at the bus stop for a bus back to Shrewsbury. Where we saw Arriva Midlands 3736 on a #18 to Telford. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 2986 on a #436 to Shrewsbury. we got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Midlands Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus before the bus set off out off the St Mary's Road and right onto the A458 and we ran into Harley. We turned right onto Severn Way and we turned left onto Sheinton Road. We ran through Cressage and we ran into Cross Houses. We ran forwards onto Abbey Foregate and we went around the English Bridge Gyratory and we crossed over the bridge. We turned left onto Temple street and we we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use the computer. He also watched buses out of the window. Later on we saw Afford rent-a-car's KV19 NVB in their garage.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Matthew had seen on Facebook the POPS were running a trip to Shrewsbury recreating the X64 bus from some time in the 1990's. I had contacted someone at POPS to see if it would be possible for us to do this and they said it would be okay. There was a pick-up near to Matthew residential unit at 08:40 so we arranged to do this trip. Matthew got up around 07:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We cam to pick Matthew up around 08:30 and we went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. Almost as soon as we had got onto the road we saw the bus approaching through the fog. As expected it was preserved PMT 207 on the feeder service for the trip.

We trotted up to the bus stop and we were welcomed on board the bus by member of POPS. We sat down near to the front of the bus and we set off down City Road and we ran down to the bottom of the road and we joined the Northbound A52. We ran alongside the railway line and we ran forwards onto Station Road where we had another brief stop. We continued along Station road and we turned right onto College Road. We ran through Shelton and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We continued onto Regent Road and we turned left onto Hinde Street. We stopped at Hinde Street and we were a little early. This gave us chance to get off the bus and get another picture of PMT 207.

We had around 10 minutes here and some used the opportunity to get tea and or a bacon sandwich from the nearby Hinde Street market. We got back on the bus and we waited for the booked departure time. Once everyone was on board we set off along Hinde Street and onto the clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Broad Street and we continued down to Snow Hill. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road and down the hill through Shelton into Stoke. We crossed over the A500 and we joined the Northbound carriageway. At the next junction we came off onto Shelton New Road. We ran through the cross road up to Hartshill and at the roundabout we ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one-way system and at the next roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road. We turned right into the bus station and we stopped on Stubbs Street to pick up passengers and for another photo stop.

Once everyone was on board we set off down Stubbs Street and we re-joined Barracks Road. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A34 and at the next roundabout we turned left onto the A53. We ran out of Newcastle and under the M6 and over the A5182 roundabout. We ran through Whitmore and Baldwins Gate and we turned left onto Sandy Lane. We veered right onto Woodside and we ran to the end into Chorlton Hill. We turned right onto the A51 and we ran Westwards past the A53 junction and the Swan with Two Necks. We turned left past The Croft and we re-joined the A53 further down the road. We turned left onto Church Road and we ran into Ashley for another photo stop in Ashley near to the church. We got off and got another picture of PMT 207.

We re-joined the bus the bus and we set off through Ashley onto Gravelly Hill. We rejoined the A53 and we ran into Loggerheads. We continued along the A53 and we veered left onto Newcastle Road. We ran into Market Drayton and we turned right onto Smithfield Road. We turned left onto Frogmore Road and we entered market Drayton bus station. We had a 30 minute break here and Matthew decided to visit the adjacent public toilet. He sat on a bench and ate a chocolate bar and drank a can of Fanta. As we still had town we walked down Queen Street and we visited a cash machine. We returned to the bus and Matthew took a picture of PMT 207.

Everyone returned to the vehicle and we got on the bus and set off out off the bus station. We re-joined Frogmore Road and we turned right at the end onto Shropshire Street. We continued forwards onto Shrewsbury Road and at the end we re-joined the Southbound A53. We continued down to the A41 and we turned right, which seemed unusual. We were diverting to a housing estate to where the bus used to serve. we turned left onto Hedley Way and we ran to the end. After doing a turn in the road at the turning circle at the end, we returned to the first bus stop for a photo stop. We got off the bus and we took another picture of PMT 207 before getting back onto the bus.

We set of back to the A41 and we turned right. We turned left onto the A53 and we headed South. a few miles down the road we turned right to run into another village before returning to the A53. We continued through Shabury and past Harlescott and into Shrewsbury town centre. We went under the railway line and we turned right onto the A458. We came up alongside the river and we turned left into the bus station. The bus station was completely shut up as there is no bus service in Shrewsbury on a Sunday. We got off the bus and we were instructed to meet back at the bus station around 15:30. Once off the bus we walked towards the river and we spotted a few coaches in the car park on the other side of the river. We crossed over the road and the river on the cable stay suspension footbridge and we went into the car park. We saw National Holidays NH14 DBH parked up there.

Once we had seen all the buses in the car park we walked back to the river and walked along to Welsh Bridge. We had a quick look at the boat on the other side of the bridge before crossing over the Welsh Bridge and going to the wetherspoons pub for dinner. Matthew went to the toilet and then found a table near to the door. Matthew had a chicken burger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Once we had finished we headed off towards the railway station. On the way we were passed by Lloyds Coaches Y302 KBN doing rail replacement bus service work.

We continued to the railway station and and Matthew decided he wanted to go to the toilet. We were able to go into the railway station so we spotted a pub across the road. Matthew used the toilets and afterwards we stopped for a quick 1/2 of Coke. Once we had drunk the drink we went outside to meet up with uncle Dave again. We headed under the railway line and towards the site of the old Arriva bus garage. We passed the Morris Lubricants building the and the fire station and we got to the site. There was no sign that it had once been a bus garage. We walked back into town and as we passed the Morris Lubricants building we saw white minibus EU67 VME heading North.

We got to the railway station and we tried to go up by the castle to get a few pictures. the path had been closed and Matthew nipped onto the near platform of the station, but there was no toilet on that platform. We headed into town to find somewhere use a toilet and we spotted Lloyds Coaches LC62 WYN.

I was about to take Matthew into a pub when he spotted a coffee shop across the road. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards he a bottle of Coke and and Lemon polenta cake. Once we had finished we rejoin-ed uncle Dave and we walked around to the bus station. We spotted a coach on layover there. As we got closer we saw it was Lloyds Coaches BU16 UYL.

We had just under an hour so we did another lap of the Welsh Bridge, riverside and footbridge before we stopped at Wetherspoons for one last toilet stop and swift 1/2 of Coke. When we had finished the drink we headed back to the bus station where people at started to gather. We boarded the bus and we waited for the last few passengers to appear. Once everyone was aboard the bus set off out of the bus station onto the A458. We ran forwards onto the A528 and we went under the low arched bridge that had prevented the use of a double decker on the run. We turned left onto the A5191 and we headed North towards Harlescott. We ran forwards onto the A53 and we went through Shawbury and Northwards. We missed the diversion to serve the town to the North of the A53 and the Buntingsdale housing estate off the A41 and we continued up towards Market Drayton. We veered right onto Shrewsbury Road and we ran into Market Drayton. This time we didn't stop at the bus station and we continued along Frogmore Road and Smithfield Road. We turned left onto Stafford St and we continued up to the A53. We ran through Loggerheads and we turned right onto Gravelly Hill. We ran into Ashley and we stopped in the final location for a photo stop Northbound through Ashley with the church in the background. We got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of PMT 207

We got back on the bus and we set off through Ashley onto Church Road. We re-joined the A53 and we ran Northwards for a short distance before turning left up towards Blackbrook. We turned right onto the A51 and we run past the Swan with Two Necks and continued along the A51 to Hill Chorlton. We turned left and we ran up to Baldwins gate, re-joining the A53. We ran up through Whitmore and up the final few miles of the A53 into Newcastle. At the edge of Newcastle we turned right onto the A34 and left onto Barracks Road before veering left into the bus station. We stopped to drop off a few passengers before continuing towards Hanley. Mum had called to ask if we would get off the bus in Hanley and she would pick us up. This would give her a chance to see Matthew. We re-joined Barracks Road and we went onto the one-way system. We joined the A52 and we run up to Hartshill. We veered left onto Shelton New Road and we stopped briefly near to the old Gilberts furniture shop. We continued down Shelton New Road through the traffic lights and we turned right to join the Southbound A500. We came off the A500 at Stoke and we turned left onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran forwards onto Snow Hill and we turned right onto College Road. We turned left onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Hinde Street and when the bus stopped we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up to the car park on Lichfield Street where mum had parked. We walked onto the ring road and Matthew wanted to go to the toilet so we stopped at the bus station. After he had used the facilities we walked across Lichfield street to the car park where mum was parked up. We got in the car and we set off onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring Road and we ran down to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the roundabout we turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Glebdale Road. We ran forwards onto Station Bridge Road and forwards again onto Heron street. In Heron Cross we turned right onto Grove Road. We dropped down into Fenton and we dropped off uncle Dave. Once we had dropped him off we returned up to Smithpool Road and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs with Matthew and we spent a few minutes with him before we said goodbye. Matthew drank a can of Irn Bru. For tea Matthew had sausage chips and gravy followed by a Bakewell tart. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. He was also going out for a trip on the bus to Market Drayton. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange for breakfast. Matthew chilled out in his room for a while whilst waiting to go out. We saw D&G Bus 119 on a #1 to Meir.

We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Station Bridge Road we saw First Potteries 67154 on a #23A to Hanley. We continued onto Heron Street and through Heron Cross onto Blurton Road. We went through Blurton and forwards onto Church Road before turning right onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line into Trentham. At the roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We turned left onto Whitmore Road and at the traffic lights we went forwards over the A519 onto the A5182. We ran for a few miles and at the end we turned left onto the A53. We travelled through Whitmore and Baldwin's Gate and we crossed over the A51 by The Swan With Two Necks. We continued Sooth Westwards through Loggerhead and we went around Market Drayton on the by-pass. At the next roundabout we came to the pub. In the pub Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had an all day breakfast followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When it was time to go back Matthew got on board Z Carz YS09 LWV. We set off onto the A53 and we ran Northwards through Loggerhead. We continued North up to the A51 where we left. We ran through Woore and Bridgemere and Northwards up to the edge of Nantwich. We ran into town along the B5074 and we turned left into Pratch1tts Row. We turned right and we stopped at Morrisons. Matthew did his weekly shop and we returned to Fenton and it was Z Carz GK02 NWJ. We set off onto Pratch1tts Row and we turned right onto B5074. We ran forwards onto the A51 and we ran Eastwards to the A500. We ran fastwards South of Crewe. We crossed under the M6 and we continued Southwards through Talke and Longport. We continued through Etruria to Stoke and we came off the A500 onto City Road. We ran up into Fenton and we turned right into Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer. Later on Matthew had a KFC for tea. He had chicken burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We went up past barracks Road and past the bus station before doing a u-turn and running South down Barracks Road where we saw First Potteries 41522 on a #98 to Ball Green. We got onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto Occupation Street. At the end we turned right onto Parkstone Avenue. We turned left onto The Avenue and then right onto Hilton Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto Newcastle Lane and we ran up the hill into Penkhull. We ran onto St Thomas Place and left onto Princess Street and we stopped at the centre. Matthew went to the toilet and used the key then went to the new soft play area. when it was time to return to Fenton we got back on Stanton's of Stoke EGZ 2534. We ran along Princes Street and at the end we turned right onto the A52. We turned right onto Richmond Street and we ran into Stoke. We went onto the one-way system and around Elonora Street and Copeland Street onto Glebe Street. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed over the A500 and under the railway line. We ran up City Road and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on the computer and watched buses. We saw Intercity WJ12 NKX going towards Stoke.

We turned left on Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew chilled out in his room and used the computer. Later on he had a bath and then had toast for supper. Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. we got on the bus and we set off onto the A5272. We ran through Bentilee onto the A52 at Bucknall. At the junction we followed the A52 to the left. We turned left at joiners Sqaure and we ran to the top of Victoria Road before we turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. We went out and we walked down to Christchurch Street and across City Road onto Manor Street. At the end we turned left and we walked down Victoria Road to the next bus station. A few minutes later the bus to Hanley appeared and it was dud First Potteries 63177. We got on the bus and we sat down. The bus set off down Victoria Road and we crossed onto Lichfield Street at Joiners Square. We climbed the hill and we crossed over the ring road to the stops outside the bus station where the bus emptied out. We saw First Potteries 66962 on a #3 to Crewe. We went into the bus station and we waited for the next bus to Market Drayton. A few minutes later required Arriva Midlands 3695 appeared on the #164 service. We got on the bus and we flashed the bus pass to the driver before we sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we ran down to Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and we ran down the hill over the ring Road and onto Stoke Road. We ran near to the railway station and we crossed over the A500 before we got on to it. We ran North to Shelton New Road and we headed to the top of Hartshill before dropping down into Newcastle along George Street. After stoping in the bus station we continued on our journey onto barrack Street and onto the Northbound A34. We turned left onto the A53 and we ran out into the open Countryside through Whitmore and Bladwin's Gate. On the other side of the village we left the A53 and we ran down to Slater's Village at Chorlton Hill. We joined the Westbound A51 and we ran up to the Swan With Two Necks where we turned onto the A53. Further South we came off the A52 again and we ran through Ashley and Ashley Heath before rejoining the A53 at Loggerheads. We continued along the A53 and on the edge of Market Drayton we turned onto Newcastle Road and we ran into the town centre. We ran around the one way system and we pulled into the small bus station. At the bus station we saw D&G 41 which was going to work the #75 to Nantwich. For dinner Matthew went to the Tudor Bar. Matthew went to the toilet and when he came back he had a breakfast washed down with a glass of Coke. After eating e returned to the bus station to wait for the bus back to Hanley. A short while later the bus turned up and it was required Arriva Midlands 3698. We got on the bus and we flashed the bus pass at the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off on to the one way system and we we joined Newcastle Road. We ran out of town onto the A53 and we ran North. we passed Arriva Midlands 3699 going the other way. We ran through Loggerheads, Ashley Heath, Ashley and we rejoined the A51 to run up to Slater's village. We traveled North up Woodside and we rejoined the Eastbound A53. We ran through Baldwins Gate and Whitmore and we ran through Clayton and into Newcastle. We ran around twn via the A34 and Barracks Street and we went into the bus station. We then carried on out of Necastle up the A52 as far as Harshill where we turned left onto Shelton New Road. We ran down as far as the A500 where we went North to Stoke Road. We crossed under the railway and we passed close to the station and we ran up to Hanley via Stoke Road. We joined the ring road and we ran around to Bethesda Street. We ran into the bus station up John Street. Once off the bus we went outside to the stop for the #6 service. A few minutes later we were surprised to see dud First Potteries 32627 on the #6A to Blythe Bridge. We got on the bus and we went upstairs. The bus set off from outside the bus station onto Birch Terrace where they are building a new shopping centre. We followed the road around to Charles Street and then right onto Old Hall Street. We joined the ring road and we ran around to Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. At the top of the hill we got off the bus and Matthew walked back to the day cenrtre down City Road. When it was time to go bak to respite we got on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX for the journey back. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and we joined the Southbound A500 which we did to Hanford. We came off the D road onto the A34 and we ran South to Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and then left again onto New Inn Lane. After dropping off another service user we returned onto the A5035 and we ran through hem Heath and Dresden into Longton. We crossed the A50 and we ran up to Anchor Road via Chadwick Street, Bridgewood Street and Forrister Street. We ran up Anchor Road to Adderley Green and we turned left onto the A5272. We ran into Bentilee and to the repite home. When Matthew got back he had tea chicken and potatoes followed by triffle. In the evening Matthew went out to the Co-op store. We set off onto the A5272 ans we ran down to Beverley Drive. We ran back Rast along Ubberley Drive and we stopped to go in the Co-op. Whilst in the shop Matthew had a can of Coke and some chocolate. We returned back down Ubberly Drive and back via Deverley Drive and the A5272. For the rest of the evening Matthew spent time watching television. Later he had a bath and then had toast for supper. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark
