Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. We saw E-zec patient transport YN15 FJY.

We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and due to roadworks we ran to the end of Station Road and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road where we saw Viking Travel M455 TCH. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road where we got up and got off the bus. We saw Paul's of Stoke P482 HBA. Once off the bus we walked along Regent Road towards Shelton and we turned right onto Wellesley Street. At snow Hill we went forwards onto Shelton New Road and we stopped at the college. When we had finished we walked back up Shelton New Road and we turned left onto Broad Street and we turned left onto marsh Street. We walked up Brunswick Street and onto Piccadilly. We continued onto Tontine Square and we went into Primark. After buying clothes we walked through the shopping centre and we came out onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto Percy Street and we walked up to McDonalds. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once We walked along Parliament Row and and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We walked forwards onto Lichfield Street and into the bus station. We waited for a bus to Fenton. After a short time we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Fenton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. we saw First Potteries 63114 on a #7A to Biddulph. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went back up to his room. He watched buses out of the window. We saw First Potteries 44514 on a #23 to Hanley. went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. On the way to the bus stop we saw Afford rent-a-car YR69 GPX at their garage. We continued to the bus stop and we waited for a bus towards Stoke. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67650 on a #23 to Hanley.

A few minutes later we saw grey minibus CE68 GGZ heading towards Longton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it approached we saw it was D&G Bus 44 on a #1 to 1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off onto Castle walk and we stopped at Wilko. Matthew brought chicken & bacon sandwiches and a bottle of orange. Once we had finished we set off onto Hassell Street and we turned left onto High Street. We crossed over and we went to the cinema. Matthew had a cup of Coke. He went to the cinema to watch A Last Christmas. After the film Matthew went to the toilet. We walked out of the cinema onto the High Street. We turned left onto Hassell Street and we walked back to the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67635 on a #11 to Hanley.

We booked to Fenton and as the rear of the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67635 before we sat down.

We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

later on we went to Middleport in a car. We went downstairs and we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill into Stoke and onto the A52. We went under the railway line and over the A500. We joined the Northbound A500 and we ran up through Etruria up to Longport. We came off the A500 and we turned right onto the A5272. We ran up to Trubshaw Cross an we turned right onto Newcastle Street. We stopped at the shop and we went inside. Matthew went in a brought a breakfast to take away. We got into the car and we set off up Newcastle Street into Burslem. We turned right onto Waterloo Road and we ran through Cobridge into Hanley. We ran clockwise around the ring road and we turned left onto Lichfield Street. At Joiners Square we turned right on the roundabout onto the A52. We ran towards and past Stoke railway station and along side the railway line. We turned left onto City Road and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to the residential unit and he ate the breakfast. After he had finished eating Matthew went out on the bus. We went downstairs and we walked through onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus towards Stoke. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63178 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We booked to Stoke and as the rear of the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 63178 before we sat down.

We set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We got off the bus and we down the road to the other stop to wait for a #23A to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching and as it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67151 on a #23A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street. We followed the one-way system around onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland Street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we ran under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. After stopping briefly outside the railway station we turned right onto College Road and we ran up the hill through Shelton. We saw Premier Travel minibus BX11 AZV parked in a back street near to Cauldon Road. We continued onto Cleveland Road and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we continued along Bethesda Street before turning right onto John Street. We got up and got off the bus outside the snooker club. We walked along Bagnall Street and we turned right past the town hall. We turned left onto Stafford Street and left onto Trinity Street. We stopped at the opticians and Matthew had his eyes tested. Once we had finished in the optician we set off up Trinity Street. We turned right onto Stafford Street and we saw First Potteries 63097 on a #18 to Leek. We continued along Stafford Street and we turned left onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned left onto Station Road and we ran part the railway station before going right onto Glebe Street. After a brief stop we continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill we turned right onto Smithpool Road where we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut though and went upstairs to the residential unit. Matthew chilled out in his room for a while. Later on Matthew went out to KFC. Matthew went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and right onto City Road, We walked past Philpots and at the roundabout we turned right into KFC. Matthew had a chickenburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Whilst we ate we saw Paul's of Stoke P482 HBA going towards the BET365 stadium. Once we had finished eating we walked back along City Road and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a drink of orange. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Trip to Fenton / Newcastle 08-06-2018

He was also going to see Grandma later on and going to the pub and returning to Blurton for a long weekend. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. In the morning Matthew did some baking. He made some chocolate brownies. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy followed by a cupcake. In the afternoon Matthew had a haircut. We set off onto Christchurch Street and crossed over City Road. Matthew had his haircut and afterwards went to the pub. We set off up City road and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Matthew chilled out in the pub for a while until it was time to return to the day centre. We set off on foot onto Christchurch Street and back to day centre. Matthew mopped the floor and returned to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and chill out. Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. He waited for me to come and pick him up to go home. I turned up around 14:30 and we got ready to go to Blurton. Whilst getting ready we saw Stanton's of Stoke RIG 2987 going towards Heron Cross.

Once we were ready we went downstairs and out of the residential unit. We got in the car and we drove onto Temple Street where we saw white and red minibus DN03 WKK. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street and into Heron Cross. We went through the traffic lights and forwards onto Blurton Road. As we travelled through Blurton we passed First Potteries 67654 on a #22 to Longton. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Street and right onto Beaconsfield Drive. By OSSMA we saw Stanton's of Stoke UNZ 3741. We got home around 15:00. When we got home Matthew had toast and a glass of Iron Brew. Today we were catching the 15:56 to Newcastle as we were going to the pub via Grandma's House. We set off around 15:45 on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. There had been a few traffic problems and the bus was a little late. Whilst we waited we saw Plants minibus JP18 NTS heading into Blurton. After a short while we saw the bus come around the corner and it was First Potteries 63097.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035. We went over the railway line into Trentham and we saw Warrington's of Ilam MX56 FXG going towards Longton. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we saw First Potteries 67159 on a #21 to The Hanley. We ran up the hill into Hanford. We turned right into Wilson Road and we ran down Church Lane where we passed First Potteries 67636 on #22 to Longton. WE continued down onto the A34. As we joined the A34 we saw Ace SF11 HZE going Southwards. We crossed under the A500 and we saw Newcastle School HJ60 KXH. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we saw First Potteries 67654 on the final #22 turn. We continued forwards on Hilton Road and we caught up with Scraggs Solo 9685 VT going towards Hartshill. As we travelled through the hospital we saw ABC Supreme HV18 GVR. We turned right onto the A34 and saw First Potteries 32649 on a #25 to Hanley. A couple of stops down the road we got up and got off the bus. Behind us we saw Lucky Seven SM12 HGX going towards Newcastle town centre.

We crossed over the road we headed up the hill to Grandma's House. At Grandma's Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. Grandad returned home from playing bowls and he then gave us a lift to the pub. Around 18:00 we set off onto Victoria Street and we saw white minibus YK08 PVA. We turned left onto the A34. As we past the hospital we saw First Potteries 32648 on a #25 to Keele. We continued into Trent Vale passing Paul's of Stoke P482 HBA and Grandad dropped us of at the pub. We met up with uncle Dave and we went into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included ABC Supreme KX13 DZL going Northwards. We also saw First Potteries 37157 on a #101 to Hanley. When we had finished eating we went outside to catch a bus back. As we went around the corner to the bus stop we saw Shearing 723 going Southwards. We srtood at the bus stop and we only had to wait a couple of minutes and we saw a Dart approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 67159 on a #21 to Trentham.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the A34 and we crossed under the A500 into Hanford. We turned left onto Church Lane and we saw white minibus BU07 KGV in the yard at the bottom of the hill. We turned right onto Wilson Road where we passed First Potteries 67156 on the final #21A of the day towards Hanley. At the end we turned left onto New Inn Lane. We entered Trentham amd we ran down the hill to the Man in Space where the bus terminated. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67159 before it ran back empty to the depot.

As that was the last bus we had to walk all the way back to Blurton. We set off on foot along New Inn Lane and we turned left onto the A5035. We saw the old Nat West bank which has closed and is now up for sale. We crossed over the railway line into Blurton. We walked past the pub and Stanley Matthew Way. In the layby on the A5035 we saw Lucky Seven KE54 ARM. We eventually got home around 19:45. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we composed a few e-mails and sorted a few things out. We then chilled out on the sofa doing e-mails and writing the until bedtime around 01:00... Mark
