Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car BG72 UEU parked up. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67141 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road and we saw Travel Express YJ67 FKT parked up th the depot. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. A short time later we saw Stanton's of Stoke 579 UXR on a #50 to Lightwood. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 164 on a #100 to Stone.

We got on and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off through the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road and we saw Cabability minibus DG17 UYM parkd up at their depot. We ran down through Etruria an up into Hartshill before joining the A52. We ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one way system and we turned left on the roundabout onto Barracks Road. We got to the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We set off on foot up Castle Walk and we visited Home Bargains. We walked up Castle Walk and we turned right into Ironmarket past the old RBS bank which has now The Bank Space. We turned left onto Castle Walk and Costa coffee. Matthew had a sausage oatcake. washed down with a botte of Orange Fanta. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. When we had finished we got back onto Castle Walk and we turned left onto barracks Road and we veered left onto Stubbs Street and into the bus station. A short time later we saw First Potteries 35945 on a #25 to Keele.

A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6010 on a #1A to Wood Lane. We got on the bus and we booked to Kidsgrove before sitting down towards the back of the bus. set of out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and at the roundabout we turned left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We ran Northwards past the bus garage and we ran through Milehouse. We turned left onto Lower Milehouse Lane and we turned left onto High Street and left onto the B5368. We turned right onto the B5044 and ran through Silverdale. We turned left onto Mill Street and we ran forwards onto High Street. We turned left onto Buxton Avenue and we turned right onto Moffatt Way and we turned right onto Malvern Avenue and we turned right onto Bath Road and we past the old school. We turned right onto Peebles Road and we turned left onto Scot Hay Road and we turned right onto Crackley Lane and we turned right onto Leycett Road and into Scot Hay and we went across onto Scot Hay Road. We climbed the hill up to Alsagers Bank and we turned left onto High Street and we crossed over Halmer End and we turned right onto Station Road and and we ran up the hill into Miles Green. We turned left onto Heathcote Road and left onto Rye Hills and we continued onto Hougher Wall Road and we turned right onto Church Street. We turned right onto the B5500 through Bignall End and then we turned right onto Megacre and we ran around Wood Lane. We continued along High Street and we turned right onto Apedale Road. We turned right onto Church Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus and we crossed over Church Street and we turned left onto Woodcroft. We turned right onto High Street and we turned left onto Wesley Street. At the end we stopped at Stoke-on-Trent markets. Matthew went to the toilet and then did a Zumba class. When they had finished eating we set off onto Wesley Street and we turned left onto High Street. We turned left onto Woodcroft and we turned left onto Church Street. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 23 on a #1A to Meir. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Church Street and we turned left onto Woodcroft. We turned right onto High Street and we turned onto Megacre and we returned back to the B5500. We continued Westwards into Bignall End and forwards into the centre of Audley village and we turned left onto Church Street and we continued onto Heathcote Road and we ran forwards into Alsagers Bank. We turned right onto Scot Hay Road and we saw Warrington's of Ilam TUI 4850. We ran Southwards through Scot Hay and we turned left onto Scot Hay Road and we ran into Silverdale. We turned right onto Peebles Road and left onto Bath Road. We turned left onto Malvern Avenue and we ran forwards onto Buxton Avenue. We re-joined Scot Hay Road and we ran through the centre of Silverdale. We ran along the High Street and forwards onto Silverdale Road. We turned left onto the B5368 and we ran through Knutton. We ran past Morrison into Milehouse and we turned right onto the Southbound A34. We ran past the bus garage and we veered left onto London Road. We turned left onto Ryecroft and we turned right onto Barracks Road. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we waited for a bus to Kidsgrove. Eventually the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63347 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road. We crossed over the railway line and we walked down to the entrance of the park. For dinner Matthew had washed down a can of Irn Bru. In the park Matthew walked up to the playground. Once we had finished in the park we walked back along Grove Road. We crossed over the Whieldon Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a burger and chips. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre. Matthew got ready to go to Newcastle. Whilst getting ready we saw Warringtons of Ilam V663 FPO heading towards Stoke. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was D&G Bus 119 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw ABC Supreme YA67 VBB. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63117 on a #4 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We ran up the hill into Hanley and we ran forwards onto Trinity Street. We turned right onto Stafford Street and we continued past the Albion and the town Hall and we ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We went outside and we saw First Potteries 67173.

We set off out of the bus station onto Lichfield Street and forwards onto Tontine Street and we walked back down Tontine Street and Market Square to the shopping centre. In the shopping centre Matthew sat down and ate his chicken sandwich washed down with a can of irn bru. We went down to the market level and Matthew used the toilet. We had a walk around the shops and afterwards we walked though and down onto Stafford Street and we saw First Potteries 63115 on a #4A to Talke Pits. We continued forwards onto Lichfield Street and we continued into the bus station. matthew visited the toilet and afterwards we waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. We saw it was First Potteries 67144 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton we sat down. We set off up set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 35261 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We turned left onto Market Street and right onto Commerce Street past the former Co-op Bank. We went around the roundabout and turned right onto The Strand where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went down The Strand and we turned left onto the passgeway by Next. We went to Tesco and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we went outside to we waited for the taxi to Fenton. When it arrived we saw it was an Intercity taxi. We set off onto Baths Road towards Longton and we did a u-turn at the roundabout. We headed for the A50 and we headed West to Sideway. We joined the Northbound A500 and we ran through Stoke and Etruria. We continued past Longport and we joined the A527. We ran past the North end of Tunstall and we stopped to have a look at the new business park on James Brindley Way and past the Tesco Express. We ran to towards Goldenhill and down the hill into Kidsgrove. We continued North through Church Lawton into Rode Heath and out the other side We passed the Stanway's depot and we saw M132 PRA. We continued North to Holmes Chapel and we continued Northwards to Knutsford and we got up and got off the bus. We saw Network Warrington 309. Matthew used the toilet and we returned to the bus station. We walked onto Toft Road and we turned right onto Princess Street. we turned right onto Canute Place. we headed over the Plaza to the Sainsbury's local shop. In the shop we brought a can of Coke and a couple of bars of chocolate as well as a Drumstick lolly. Once we had finished we walked back down Canute Place. We forwards through Princess Street and we turned right onto Toft Road. We forwards through Stanley Road and we forwards through Cranford Avenue and we forwards through Westfield Drive. Matthew went into the building and used the toilet. He spent the afternoon on the trampoline. We set off onto Westfield Drive and left onto Cranford Avenue and turned right onto Stanley Road and we saw D&G Bus 107 on a #88 to Macclesfield. we turned right onto the A50 and we traveled South through Holmes Chapel and down into Kidsgrove. We carried on South towards Tunstall and we turned left onto the A527. In Fegg Hayes we turned right onto Oxford Street and we ran through Chell Heath past Matthew's old school. In Smallthorne we turned right onto Ford Green Road and at the roundabouts we turned left onto the A5272. We followed the road through Sneyd Green and Northwood and down to Bucknall. We turned right onto the A52 and at Joiners Square roundabout we turned left onto Victoria Road. At the top of the hill we turned right onto City Road and we ran down the hill to Smithpool Road. We turned left and left again onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. We went downstairs to the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500. We went around the one-way system. We ran up the hill into Hartshill and we continued to the edge of Newcastle. We turned right into Albert Street and we crossed over the A53 onto Sandy Lane. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A527. We ran through Wolstanton and we crossed over the roundabout onto Bradwell Lane and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. For tea Matthew had a burger and chips followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Whilst we ate we saw Harry Shaw BP73 KWE. When it was time to go we returned to the car for the trip back to Fenton. We set off onto Bradwell Lane and we turned right onto Porthill Bank and across the A500. We ran up through Longport to Middleport and we turned right onto Orme Street and we crossed over onto Nephew Street. We turned left onto Yale Street and right onto Travers Street. We turned left onto Maddock Street and left onto Newport Lane. We turned left onto Newcastle Street and we turned right onto the A527. We turned right into Westport Road. We turned left into the B5051 and onto Moorland Road. We went over Smallthorne Roundabouts and down Ford Green Road and we turned right onto Ashman Street and we ran down the hill onto Duddell Road. We turned left onto Ford Green Road and we turned left onto Saturn Road and we turned left onto Mars Street and left onto Jupiter Street. After a brief stop we turned left onto Ford Green Road. We turned We veered left onto the Southbound A5272. We ran through Sneyd Green and we continued into Birches Head. We ran forwards onto Town Road and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down to joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout We turned right onto the A52 and we ran towards Stoke. By the railway station we veered left along the A52 and we ran parallel to the railway line. We turned left onto City Road and right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his roon to watch TV and chill out. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. He also ate the a Cheesecake and a can of Coke. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham where we saw ABC Supreme YA67 VBB. Near to the old entrance to the gardens we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to across the road the road and into Trentham Gardens. we walked around the North end of the lake and we went to Totally delicious. Matthew had a ham sandwich washed down with bottle of Coke. Afterwards Matthew had an ice cream in a waffle cone. After finishing eating Matthew went to the toilet. Once we had finished eating we walked back through the main gate and onto the A34 opposite the A5035. We turned left and walked along the A34 to the old Gardens entrance where the bus stop is situated. We waited for a bus back towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 33829 on a #101 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Northwards through Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 33829 as it carried on towards Hanley.

We stopped at the Co-operative food and we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 904. We turned left Temple Street and we walked back to the residential unit. Near to the unit we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window we saw First Potteries 67180 on a #11 to Hanley. For tea Matthew had Spaghetti and Tomato Sauce followed by treacle tart and custard. Matthew spent time in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We turned left onto Ironmarket and we stopped at the bank at the end. We turned left onto High Street. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished eating we returned to the bus station along Hassell Street. At the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet and then returned into the bus station. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 65032 on a #101 to Hanley.

We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and onto Christchurch Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. We continued along Christchurch Street. We onto City Road. At the top we crossed over Victoria Road to wait for the bus at the bus stop. We got to the bus stop in time we saw First Potteries 63177 on a #6 to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 67147 on a #6A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We got up and got off the bus. We walked down Bagnall Street and forwards onto Albion Street. We set off up Tontine Street onto Upper Market Square. We had a walk around the shops and afterwards we walked through Tontine Square to the Intu Potteries shopping centre. We continued around to Primark and we saw a new cafe being built. We brought some clothing. Afterwards we came out onto Lamb Street and we walked back along Parliament Row and we stopped at Poundland. We continued along Parliament Row and we went to the pub. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had a slice of chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Once we had finished we set off onto Parliament Row and we walked onto Old Hall Street. We walked up Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63100 on a #3 to Crewe. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67176 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 32633 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off at the Travers Court bus stop outside the block of flats. Once off the bus we walked onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. He also ate the a bottle of Coke and a toffee Crisp. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Belper he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Belper and we saw First Potteries 67181 on a #11 to Hanley. After tea Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we saw First Potteries 63034 on a #6 to Hanley. We went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we ran across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Waterloo Road and we ran through Cobridge. We continued through to Burslem onto Scotia Road and forwards onto the Tunstall by-pass. We ran past the police station onto the top end of Tunstall High Street. We continued through Goldenhill and down the hill to Kidsgrove. We continued under the railway line and over the A34. We followed the A50 to the right and we ran Northwards to Arclid. We turned right onto the A534 and we ran forwards into Congleton town centre. we stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. For dinner Matthew had a Fried buttermilk chicken burger with fries followed by cheesecake. When it was time to go back we set off Westwards out of town and onto the A34. We turned around and went back into town and we joined the Southbound A527. We travelled back down the road around Biddulph and through Brindley Ford. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran into through Smallthorne and we ran through Sneyd Green and Birches Head. We followed the road to the left down the hill through Northwood and onto Limekiln Bank. We joined the A52 and we ran to Joiners square where we turned left onto Victoria Road. and we ran up to the top of the hill. We turned sharp right onto City Road and we ran down to Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window whilst he waited for us to take him out for tea. We went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. We walked to the stop opposite the flats and we saw blue minibus DG52 CXP. We waited for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67177 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus we saw D&G Bus 45 on a #94 to Congleton.

We set off onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once we had finished we walked down High Street and we turned left into Church Street. We turned left onto the Southbound A34 and we went under the subway on to the A34. We turned left onto the A525 and we turned right onto Stanier Street. When we got into the building Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards Matthew in the soft play area. When we had finished we said goodbye and we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off onto Stanier Road and we saw Autocabs SY67 WLC. After he had done his shopping we went to Sandbach in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along Stanier Road and we turned left onto John O'Gaunt's Road. We turned left onto the B5044. We turned left onto the A525 and left onto the Northbound A34. We turned right onto Ryecroft and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and we ran into Hartshill. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran through onto City Road. We ran under the railway bridge and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. Matthew spent time in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today we decided to do a local trip. No research was done for this trip apart from to check the weather. It was mainly cloudy with a small chance of a shower. Matthew noticed that there were new First buses in Suffolk. Matthew got up around 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We set up Matthew's new phone sim card and afterwards we went out to catch a bus. We walked to the stop all the way over on Magdalen Road. On the was we saw First Potteries 63034 on a #22 to Longton.

We continued to the stop and we waited for the next bus towards Trentham. A few minutes later the bus turned the corner. It was First Potteries 67142 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and booked a Smart Day ticket at £5.90. This ticket is a multi-operator ticket valid throughout the North Staffordshire area. We sat down ear to the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went past the Trentham Hotel we turned right into New Inn Lane where we saw First Potteries 67154 was on the #21 to Hanley. Assuming we didn't hang around too long, we would be on this bus to Stoke. We got up to get off the bus at the man in Space and Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67142 before it carried on to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67154 before we sat down.

The bus travelled through Trentham up New Inn Lane, We passed the building site where new housing is being built. At the top of the hill we turned right into Hanford along Wilson Road. We ran down Mayne Street before joining the Northbound A34. We crossed under the A500 and we saw First Potteries 67151 on #21 turn to Trentham. We turned onto London Road and we ran through Oak Hill past the former Oak Hill pub. We continued through the the West End before running into Stoke Town centre and Campbell Place. There was nothing of interest parked up in City cabs and we got up and got off the bus. We walked along Campbell Place and we crossed over the road. As we turned into Church Street we saw First Potteries 63176 on a #25 to Hanley. We headed into Stoke Cafe. Uncle Dave escorted Matthew downstairs to the toilet and I ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we walked down Church Street to the Newcastle bus stop. We waited for the next bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw a single decker bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63176 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street and off up the hill along Hartshill Road. We passed the Noah's Ark pub and Just after the pub we turned left by the Co-operative Food store and we headed to the hospital. We bounced our way through the hospital grounds over the severe speed bumps and we joined the North bound A34. We went around the roundabout at the bottom end of Newcastle and we turned right onto Barracks Road before entering the bus station from the Southern end. We got up and got off the bus and we spotted an red minibus on Stubbs Lane. It was Warrington's of Ilam ET10 LCT parked up.

We waled up to the top end of the bus station and we took a few bus pictures. We saw Stagecoach Megabus 54263 on a M36 service to Barnstaple.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before we sat town towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto Barracks Road and up to the Jubilee roundabout. We crossed over onto the A527 and we ran out of town through Brampton up to May bank. We continued forwards through Wolstanton and at the roundabout we turned right onto Porthill Bank and across the A500. We ran up through Longport to Middleport and at Trubshaw Cross we turned right towards Burslem. We ran up Newcastle Street into Burslem and we got up and got off the bus. We took another picture of First Potteries 67142 before it carried on towards Ball Green.

Once off the bus we walked around the corner onto the A50 to wait for a bus towards Tunstall. We didn't have to wait for long before we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63172 on a #3 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before we sat town towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Scotia Road and we ran up past the old Burslem bus garage to the bottom end of Tunstall. We turned left onto Williamson Street and then we turned right onto Tunstall High Street and we got up and got off the bus. We took another picture of First Potteries 63172 before it carried on towards Crewe.

Once off the bus we walked down to Tunstall Cafe. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered him a slice of toffee cheesecake and a can of Coke. Once he had finished eating we went outside onto the High Street. We headed Southwards towards the town and we saw First Potteries 63114 on a #3A to Talke Pits.

We crossed over the high Street and we walked past thre former Natwest Bank. We cut through towards Matalen and we went to see the Unicorn Pottery sign that has been reclaimed and built into a modern wall. We continued towards the main road and we spotted an ice cream van on the retail park. It was our friend Kev. We had an ice cream 'Matthew style' and we walked up towards the library eating the ice cream. We continued past the old police station onto the High Street and we turned left onto Furlong Road. We went to see the North Stafford Motors ghost sign before returning up Furlong Road. We turned right onto High Street and past the City Centre Central taxi base. We saw City Centre Central DV14 BNK in the yard.

We considered going to the stop by LIdl, but there was a bus already at the stop. We missed First Potteries 67099 on a #3 to Hanley. We also missed First Potteries 47519 on a #3 to Crewe on the opposite side of the road. We decided to head back towards the town so we crossed over Furlong Road and past the Wheatsheaf. As we were approaching the roundabout we saw First Potteries 67158 on a #99 to Newcastle. We were sure that we would get across the road and round the corner on to the High Street before the bus departed. We got around the corner and the bus was still there so Matthew got a picture of First Potteries 67158 before we walked down to the stop.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We sat off down the High Street and forwards onto Brownhills Road. We ran down the hill to Trubshaw Cross and we joined Longport Road. We crossed over the roundabout and climbed Porthill bank before turning left onto Wolstanton High Street. We ran through Wolstanton and out the other side and down into Newcastle. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and we ran onto barracks Road before we turned into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we saw First Pottereies 31782 on a #101 to Stafford. We decided to head towards Hanley. Almost immediately we saw First Potteries 63114 on a #4A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we Smart Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the roundabout onto the A53 and we ran up and over into Etruria. We crossed the A500 and and we headed up to Festival Park. We left the A53 onto Forge Lane near to the site of the new link road to Wolstanton. We came back towards the A53 along Festival Way. We crossed under the A53 and we ran up Etruria Road and into Hanley. We continued onto trinity Street before turning right into Stafford Street and after a short wait we continued past the town hall onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We then got up and got off the bus. Matthew used the toilet and then we walked over to the John Street. Whilst in the car park we saw D&G Bus 27 on a #9 to Biddulph.

We walked back to the bus station and we waited for a bus toward Biddulph. First Potteries 67174 was already on stand, but we had to wait for 10 minutes for a driver. The driver turned up just as the bus was due out and we got on the bus. We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road past the sight of the new Tesco Express store. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527 through Brindley Ford. We turned left to run through Brown Lees. We crossed over the A527 at Knypersley and we ran around through the housing estates of Biddulph before running into town via St John's Road, Colliers Way. We ran past the building site and we turned right up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67174 before it returned to Hanley on the next #7A.

Once off the bus we decided to go into town and got to a pub as the public toilet was shut. We turned left onto the High Street and we stopped at The Royal Oak pub, which has been refurbished and re-opened since our last visit. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we went outside and we past the former pub The Swan which was closed. We headed back towards Wharf Road and we saw D&G Bus 101 which had just arrived and was about to go out of service.

We walked down to the bottom of South View to look at a wall and we walked back to the main bus stop. Matthew had a couple of Lotus Biscoff biscuits whilst we waited for the bus. A short time later we saw the bus aproaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 65035 on a #7A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the High Street and we turned left onto St Johns Road. We ran around the estate and onto Woodland Street. We crossed over the A527 at Knypersley. We ran through Brown Lees and we rejoined the A527 by the industrial estate. We ran down through Brindley Ford and to Fegg Hayes. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran back through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green into into Hanley. When we got back to the bus station. When we got up and got off the bus. We visited the toilet and afterwards, we had arranged with mum to get meet up near to the bus station. As we walked through the bus station we saw D&G Bus 20 on a #16 to Leek. We went outside and we saw D&G Bus 173 parked up.

We crossed over Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ring road and we met up with mum at the Venus Fish Bar. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we got in the car and we went to Blurton. We set off onto Lichfield Street and we ran down to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and as we ran towards Stoke. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left to to towards the A500 and we veered left onto Whieldon Road. We dropped uncle Dave off and we continued up Whieldon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. Once back we wrote an e-mail and did the Blog.
