Trip to Newcastle / Hanley 13-02-2020

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 44514 on a #23 to Newstead. we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. As we passed the car hire place we saw Afford Rent-A-Car PJ69 RYZ.

We stood at the bus stop and we waited for a first but to Newcastle. Whilst we waited we saw Lucky Seven MK65 HZY.

We waited for a First Potteries bus to Newcastle. Whilst we waited A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63174 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw First Potteries 65032 on a #101 to Hanley.

We waited for the next #25 to Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 32639 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we went upstairs. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We turned left at the roundabout onto the A34. we ran South as far as the hospital where we turned left. As we travelled through the hospital where we saw City Centre Central YD63 UKW. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road, continuing onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. we saw First Potteries 65728 on a #3A to Butt Lane. onto Lichfield Street. We turned left onto Stafford Street. We continued forwards onto Bryan Street and we went to Cineworld. Matthew had a hot dog and Coke. He went to the toilet and afterwards he saw Dolittle at the cinema. we returned to Fenton in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along Quadrant Road and we turned right into Town Road. We followed the one-way system onto Huntbatch Street and we turned right onto Meigh Street. We continued onto Burton Place and Goodson Street. We turned left onto Old Hall Street and we turned right onto the ring road. We turned left onto the A50 and we ran down Lichfield Street. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we turned right onto the A52. We turned left onto city Road. We turned left onto Manor Road and we got out of the taxi. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road. We crossed over the crossing and we walked onto Christchurch Street and right onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. We saw E-zec patient transport YJ16 GEY going towards Hanley.

Before tea Matthew went out to do some shopping. we went downstairs we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We picked a few things up at the Co-operative food and we turned left Temple Street We walked back to the residential unit. Near to the unit we saw Magnum YJ19 WXN. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. For tea Matthew had a burger and chips with chips followed by cake. We went downstairs to wait for the taxi. Transport for the trip was ABC Supreme VU63 LGL. We got on We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill into Stoke. We joined the A52 and we crossed over the A500. We went onto the one-way system and we turned right onto South Wolfe Street. We parked up and we walked onto Church Street and went to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we walked back to the car park. Transport for journey home was ABC Supreme VU63 LGL again. We got on the bus, we sat down and we set off along South Wolfe Street and forwards onto Kingsway. We turned right onto Glebe Street and left onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and we went under the railway line. We ran up City Road into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. He used his computer and watched music videos on the Television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going on the bus to Crewe later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church minibus RX18 GZW. we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we cut through onto City Road. We waited for a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus turned the corner and it was D&G Bus 124 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road. we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and due to roadworks we ran to the end of Station Road and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a walk around the bus station we saw Park's of Hamilton BF68 LFJ on a # to Bournemouth.

We waited for a bus towards Crewe. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 65705 on a #3 to Crewe.

We got on the bus. We booked to Crewe and as the rear of the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 65705 before we sat down.

We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto Trinity Street and we went past the former RBS now a new shop. We turned left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams we followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Burslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street. and we continued North onto the A50. We ran through Goldenhill and down the bank into Kidsgrove. We ran under the railway line and we passed the site of the new Lidl being built in Kidsgrove. We continued into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34. We continued into Church Lawton and then into Alsager. We continued Westwards along the B5077 under the M6 and into Radway Green. We followed the road to the right up Slaughter hill and we continued straight up into Haslington. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station and we continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw Arriva NW&W 2933 on layover in the bus station.

On an adjacent stand was Arriva NW&W 2501 on a #84 to Chester.

Also seen was D&G Bus 46 was on a #38 to Macclesfield.

We set off onto foot onto Charles Street and we went past the former Wetherspoons pub, which will soon be demolished to make way for the Royal Arcades shopping centre development. We turned right onto Victoria Street and we visited a coffee shop. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards a had a sausage sandwich washed down with a bottle of Coke. Across the square we saw that Santander is no longer a bank anymore. We walked back along Victoria Street we turned left onto Charles Street and we returned to the bus station. We saw D&G Bus 122 on layover.

We continued through the bus station and we walked through onto Market Square. We visited Subway. Afterwards we returned along Delamere Street into the bus station. We saw D&G Bus 128 on a #85 to Newcastle.

A few minutes later we saw Arriva NW&W 2499 on a #84 to Chester.

We waited for the next bus back to Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67649 on a #3 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley, and as the rear of the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67649 before we sat down.

Whilst we waited for departure time we saw D&G Bus 57 on a #38 to Macclesfield. We set off out of the bus station onto Delamere Street and we followed the road around onto Chester Bridge. We ran forwards onto Edleston Road and we turned left onto the A534. We ran past the railway station and we continued up towards Haslington along the B5077. We turned right onto Slaughter Hill and we ran back through Radway Green and into Alsager. We continued over the A34 and into Staffordshire and we ran under the railway line into Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and we continued into Sandyford. We joined Tunstall High Street where we saw City Centre Central YD63 UKW in the depot. We continued down the High Street and we ran through the town centre and joined Scotia Road near to Asda. We ran up into Burslem and we continued along the A50 into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road to Town Road and we ran into Hanley. We ran down Quadrant Road and forwards onto Stafford Street. We ran across the shared space past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street. We ran forwards into the bus station. We got off the bus and we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was D&G 124 on a #23 to Blurton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. For tea Matthew had chicken and potatoes. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew went out. We went downstairs and we and we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill into Stoke. We ran under the railway line and we crossed over the A500. we ran around the one-way system onto Lonsdale Street and we followed the road to the right onto Fleming Road. We turned right onto Campbell Place and we rejoined Church Street. We ran forwards onto Hartshill Road and we went up the hill into Hartshill. We turned left into Newcastle and we stopped at the pub on the end of George Street. Matthew had a glass of Coke. when he had finished he returned to Fenton by car. We set off onto George Street and we ran forwards onto Hartshill Road. we ran through Hartshill and we went down the hill into Stoke. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to Matthew's room to chill out. He used his computer and watched music videos on the Television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. Whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, outside we saw white minibus KY59 ??? in the car park nearby.

Around 09:00 we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. Near to the dat centre was blue minibus SF19 ONP.

In the morning Matthew went out on the bus. We set off on foot onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. As we walked up the bus stop we saw Premier Cars DY12 FCM.

We continued up City Road and we waited for a bus towards Stoke. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was D&G Bus 113 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a walk around Newcastle. We cut through from the bus station onto High Street and we visited the Restored Furniture shop. We continued up High Street and we went in the Dougie Mac charity shop. We continued up to Merrial Street and we visited Oakland Recruitment. Afterwards we cut through onto Ironmarket and down Castle Walk and back to the bus station. Once at the bus station we waited for a bus back towards Longton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67651 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We stopped outside the old job centre as the #11 no longer calls in the Interchange. We ran up Market Street. We stopped at the cash machine and we went into the market. We walked up the Strand and we visited Cafe Delight. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. We walked back past the bus station we saw First Potteries 67662 on a #22 to Newcastle. We got an Intercity taxi back to Fenton. We set off out of Tesco and onto Baths Road. We saw grey minibus SF19 OSD. We turned left onto King Street and we ran through Foley into Fenton. We continued onto City Road and we turned left onto Glebedale Road where part of the road is closed and back to the day centre. In the afternoon Matthew went to a coffee morning and ate cakes and won a box of biscuits in the raffle. When it was time to return to the residential unit we set of on foot onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Temple Street and we went into the residential unit. We went upstairs and into his bedroom. Whilst waiting to out Matthew had some toast. Later on Matthew went up to Hanley on the bus. We went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. We walked to the bus stop by the flats and we waited for a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street. and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road we saw City Centre Central YD63 UKW. we carried onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street we continued forwards onto Stafford Street. We walked past the spikey man and onto Quadrant Road. We turned left onto Bryan Street and we visited the cinema. In the cinema went to the toilet and afterwards had a hot dog. He went to see Downton Abbey. When the film had finished we walked back along Bryan Street and onto Quadrant Road. We walked along Stafford Street and forwards onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67657 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line.
