Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and we set off onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn lane and right again into Pacific Drive. After we picked up another service user we headed back onto New Inn Lane and then onto the A5035. We turned left at Church Road and then we went Forwards onto Blurton Road through Blurton and across the A50. We went through Heron Cross and onto Heron Street. Having crossed the railway line we Turned left onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. In the morning Matthew did some baking. Matthew made some cream filled jam tarts. At dinner time Matthew went to McDonalds in a Magnum taxi. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Manor Street and at the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the road and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew went to the toilet and then had burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Afterwards we walked down the road to Poundstretcher where Matthew brought a small bottle Coke. We then got an ABC Supreme taxi to the pub. We set off onto Victoria Road and we crossed over Joiners Square roundabout onto Lichfield Street and to the pub. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63098 on a #6A to Hanley. Matthew then listened to songs on the Jukebox including The Eagles and the Beautiful South. When it was time to go we set got on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX for the journey home. We set off onto Palmerston Street and we turned right onto the A52 and we saw Z Carz BU04 GYW. We crossed over Joiners Square roundabout and we turned right onto Cauldon Road. We turned right onto Boughey Road and then left onto The Avenue. At the end we turned right onto Stoke Road and we ran down to the A500. As we went South we saw Ellen Smith coach YJ11 ANF. We came of the A500 at Hanford onto the A34 and we travelled South to Trentham Garden and we turned left onto the A5035. We turned left onto New Inn Lane and we dropped off another service user before returning onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line into Blurton and Matthew got home around 15:00. He took another picture of Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX before it returned to the day centre.

Matthew had toast and a glass of dandelion & burdock whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. Matthew had seen the bus earlier in the day and it First Potteries 67635. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. A few minutes later our bus appeared and it was as expected First Potteries 67635 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfield Road before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we passed Z Carz HK57 LGW & black minibus BL06 TKF. We ran over the railway line into Trentham and we passed First Class Travel RO62 LTU before we turned right into New Inn Lane. We ran into Hanford and we turned right into Wilson Road, passing first Potteries 67155 on the #21 to the Trentham Hotel. We ran down Church Lane, passing Free Spirits MK52 PXH. We joined the A34 and we saw white minibus R2 OGO. After running under the A500 into Trent Vale. We turned right onto Harpfields Road where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another First Potteries 67635 before it carried on towards Newcastle.

Once off the bus we walked back onto the A34 where we saw E-zec patient transport YJ16 GHF heading South.

A bit further down the road we saw First Potteries 65037 on a #101 to Hanley.

As we passed the bus stop we saw First Potteries 65033 on a Stafford bound #101 service.

Just before mum arrived we saw First Potteries 67637 on a #22 service to Longton.

Once mum arrived we went int the pub. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included ABC Supreme BX54 EDJ as well as First Potteries 37633 on the final #22 turn. When it was time to go we got in the car to go pick up uncle Dave. We ran down the A34 and we got onto the Northbound A500. At Sideway we went East on the A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross. We then dropped down into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. We then headed back up to Heron Cross and we crossed the A50 and into Blurton. We ran along Blurton Road and we passed City Cabs minibus LB11 LVV before we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right into Beaconsfield Drive and we saw First Potteries 67633 on a #22 turn. We got home around 18:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
