Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had a sausage sandwich and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We set off onto Finstock Avenue and we ran to the end onto Beaconsfield Drive. At the end of Beaconsfield we turned left onto Church Road. We ran down onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton into Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and over the traffic lights onto Heron Street. We followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road and then forwards onto Glebedale Road and to the day centre. In the morning Matthew went bowling at Festival Park. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to joiners Square. We crossed over onto Lichfield street and up the hill. We turned left onto Regent Road and we stopped briefly near to Lower Bethesda Street. We ran back to Lichfield Street and we ran up to the ring road. We ran around to Town Road and then we went east out of Hanley and forwards onto the A5272. We stopped at Central Forest Park and Matthew had a can of Coke. We then continued to bowling on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto the A5272 and we ran forwards onto Town Road. We crossed over the ring road and we got onto the anti-clockwise ring road. At the end we turned right onto Waterloo Road and we ran up to Cobridge Lights. We turned left onto the A53 and we veered right onto Pavilion Drive. We turned left onto the Ridgeway Drive and we ran through Festival park and to the bowling alley. Matthew had a few games of bowling and then went for dinner at Fenton McDonalds. We set off onto Festival Way and we went under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We got onto the anti-clockwise ring road and we saw City Centre Central SF60 BYP. We turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down to Joiners Square. We crossed over the A50 and we ran up Victoria Road to McDonalds. We also stop stopped at Subway for someone else'e dinner. We then continued up Victoria Road and then sharp left onto City Road. We turned into Christchurch Street and we stopped again at Locketss oatcakes for another service users dinner. We then returned to the day centre and Matthew ate his burger & fries, washed down with a cup of Coke. After dinner matthe went to the pub on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went ot the toilet and had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63176 on a #6 to Hanley & D&G 37 on the Asda Free Bus service. Matthew listened to the Jukebox with tracks by Steps. When it was time to home Matthew climbed aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Palmerston Street and we turned right onto the A52. At Limekiln lights we followed the A52 right in Bucknall and then right onto the A5272. We ran through Bentilee and into Adderley Green. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran down the hill past the half way House. We ran down under the railway line into Longton and onto the one way system. we crossed over the A50 and we ran past Z Carz before we turned left onto Heathcote Road. We continued onto Longton Hall Road and we ran down to Blurton Road. We turned left and went up the hill before turning left onto Drubbery Lane. At the end we turned right onto the A5035. We ran into Trentham and to the roundabout before doing a u-turn on the roundabout and coming back through Trentham and Blurton. We turned left onto Church Road and left onto Beaconsfield Drive. We ran though Blurton and we got home around 14:45. Matthew took another picture of Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU before it returned to the day centre.

Once Matthew got in the house he had toast and glass of dandelion & burdock. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. I had seen bus earlier and it was booked to be dud First Potteries 67603. As few minutes later, as expected and on time we saw First Potteries 67603 turned the corner.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfield Road before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we saw First Potteries 67155 on the #21 to Trentham. We continued up New Inn Lane and we ran into Hanford. We turned right into Wilson Road and we ran down Church Lane and we joined the A34. We were caught up by First Potteries 67153 on a #21A to Hanley. Whilst crossing under the A500 we saw First potteries 67632 on #22 to Longton. After running under the A500 into Trent Vale we then saw Newcastle School HJ60 KXH go past us. We turned right onto Harpfields Road where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another First Potteries 67603 before it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we saw Thrifty hire minibus WV66 OUS.

We carried on towards to the pub and we turned to see First Potteries 67631 on the final #22 turn to Longton.

We sat on the wall outside the pub whilst we waited for mum to arrive. Whilst there we saw Alfa coach 74. A few minutes later mum arrived and we went inside the pub. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included Stanton's of Stoke 784 RBF Going Northwards as well as First Potteries 65033 on a #101 to Stafford. When it was time to go we got in the car to go pick up uncle Dave. We ran down the A34 and we got onto the Northbound A500. The A50 appeared to be busy so we carried onto the Stoke. Whilst we waited to get off the A500 we saw Bakers coach 273 and Total Travel M625 ORJ. At the City Road junction we did a u-turn and we then went into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. We then headed up to Heron Cross and we crossed the A50. We ran along Blurton Road and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right into Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 18:15. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We then chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
