Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice. Whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67636 on a #11 to Newcastle.

Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Christchurch Street and up to the day centre. In the morning Matthew had communication skills and used the computer. For dinner Matthew had sausage rolls followed by toffee cheesecake. In the afternoon Matthew went to his trampoline class. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto the A52 and headed towards the railway station. We continued along the A52 over Joiners Square roundabout and past the Limekiln Bank junction and forwards into Abbey Hulton. We turned right onto Abbots Road and we stopped at the sports centre. we also saw Stoke-on-Trent city council welfare bus LK17 DWD. Matthew used the toilets before having a session on the trampoline and getting his level 2 certificate. we saw silver minibus MF57 OBT. When it was time to go back we climbed back aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX for the return journey. We set off onto Abbots Road and left onto Leek Road. We continued through Limekiln Bank junction and forwards to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned left onto Victoria Road. We did this to the top and we turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. When it was time to return to the residential unit we set off on foot onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and us his computer. We saw Jayjay's Travel PO58 XFX heading towards Hanley.

We also saw First Potteries 63096 on a #11 to Newcastle.

For tea Matthew had bangers and mash followed by cake. After tea Matthew returned to his room briefly where we saw Roseville EJ61 VGZ going towards Hanley.

Later on Matthew went out on the bus to Newcastle. We set off on foot onto City Road and we waited at the bus stop outside the flats Whilst we waited for the bus we saw Harry Shaws coach WX53 WFP on the Reese Heath college contract.

A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63100 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Hassell Street and we turned right onto the High Street. We went into the pub and Matthew went to the toilets. Matthew than had a glass of Coke. Matthew also had a few biscuits. We then walked back down the High Street and left onto Hassell Street and back to the bus station to wait for the bus back station. Whilst we waited for a bus back to Fenton we saw First Potteries 67604 on a #4 to Hanley.

A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67633 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we ran onto Barracks Road. We turned right at Jubilee roundabout onto the A53 and we ran around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street and into Hartshill. We ran through the village and down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop in Church Street we continued into Fenton up the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We ran up City Road and near to the top we got up and got off the bus. We crossed the road and we walked onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew chilled out in his room on his computer. Matthew also watched television in his room and then had a bath. Later on Matthew had toast for supper before going to bed around 23:00... Mark.
