Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service as well as going to a party down stairs to welcome a new resident. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Hanley. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked outside.

In the morning Matthew went to Hanley on the bus. We set off on foot onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats to Wait for a bus to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 31 on a #1 to park Site.

A few minutes later a bus to Hanley appeared and it was First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked along Bagnall Street and past the town hall and across onto Tontine Street. We walked up to Parliament Row and we went to Poundland. Matthew brought some cakes and then we went back out onto Parliament Row. We walked back down Tontine Street onto Lichfield Street and we saw First Potteries 67151 on display outside the bus station.

We also saw First Potteries 63175 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63177 on #11 to Newcastle.

We decided to do this bus so we got on the bus and we booked to Fenton we sat down. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road and we went up the hill and down the other side. We turned right onto Amison Street and we ran through Meir Heath and out the other side onto Weston Coyney Road. We crossed over the Derby to Stoke railway line and we turned right onto Sutherland Road. We ran past the police station and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran around the one way system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and then we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus we walked back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had a sausage roll followed by a Bakewell tart. In the afternoon Matthew went for a ride on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX up to the reliance bus works. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we ran down City Road to the A52. We ran parallel to the railway line and we went forwards onto Station Road. At the end we turned right onto Stoke Road and up the hill into Shelton. We stopped at the college and then we continued along Shelton new Road into Hartshill and forwards into Newcastle. We ran around the one-way system onto the Jubilee roundabout and we turned right onto the A527. We ran North up to Wolstanton marsh and we turned left onto the B5369. We ran through Dimsdale up to Chesterton wher we joined the Northbound A34. We ran up to the industrial estate and we turned right and ran to the end of the road where the works is situated. Once we got to the end we saw the buses parked up in and around the yard. Outside the yards was West Yorkshire Metro 1070.

Inside the yard were various buses including a Southdown Bristol VR 583 and a Wadham Stringer bodied Dennis Dart K6 GOW.

We then returned back to the day centre on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off over the A34 and we continued onto Crackley Bank. We ran down through Chesterton High Street and down London Road. We rejoined the A34 and we ran South past the old First Potteries garage. We turned left onto Ryecroft and we ran onto the A53. We ran through Basford and over the A500 and into Etruria. We came off the A53 at Festival Park and we turned right onto Etruria Road. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road around to Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we went over the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. When it was time to go we returned to the residential unit on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We turned right and Christchurch and left onto City Road. we turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and us his computer. later on Matthew went out for tea to on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and left into Glebedale Road. We returned right onto City Road and then we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and crossed the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We ran up the hill towards Hanley before we joined the clockwise ring Road. We ran around to the end and we stopped at the Beefeater. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. For tea Matthew had a beefburger and fries followed by lemon meringue pie. When we had finished eating we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We ran around the anti-clockwise raing road and we came off at Broad Street. We ran down Snow Hill into Shelton and we turned right into Avenue Road. We turned right onto College Road and we ran down to the end. We turned left onto Station Road and at the end we continued straight onto the A52. We turned left onto City Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew we up to chill out in his room watching television and using his computer. He also ate a slice of chocolate roll. Later on Matthew had a bath. He had toast for supper before going to bed around 23:00... Mark.
