Trip to Newcastle / Hanley 31-12-2025

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car CF74 DHM parked up.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6008 on a #1A to Wood Lane.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw ERS Medical YJ71 DWG and Intermediate Care YX22 MLZ. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Whilst we waited for a bus to Hanley and Matthew visited the toilet. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 35939 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We turned left at the roundabout onto the A34. we ran South as far as the hospital where we turned left. As we travelled through the hospital. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road, continuing onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off up Lichfield Street. We turned righ onto Old Hall Street past the site of the old bus station which has now been almost completely demolished. We turned the corner onto and we walked along Parliament Row. We stopped at Poundland and Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. After we had been to Poundland we stopped on Upper Market Square and We sat down and Matthew had a bottle of coke. When we had finished we walked along Tontine Street and we walked onto Old Hall Street and we saw Roseville FD70 YDT parked up. We walked up Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 798 on a #9 to Westbury Park.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto john Street and left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down through Shelton along Regent Road and College Road. We passed the railway station and we continued forwards onto the A52. We followed the road to the right under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 we entering Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We turned left onto Princes Road past the old school. Part of site was demolished to make more car parking spaces. We ran into Penkhull village. We onto Newcastle Lane and we turned right onto Hilton Road. We turned into the hospital and as we travelled through the hospital we saw ERS Medical FJ21 HJZ and ABC Supreme HV22 HKM. We turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus. We walked out of the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Trentham Gardens. A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 811 on a #85 to Nantwich.

We walked out of the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. Once off the bus we set off onto Castle walk and we past the former Poundland. We continued down Castle Walk and up onto Ironmarket past the old RBS bank which has now The Bank Space. We turned left onto High Street past the old Santander bank which has now closed. We visited a cash machine and we withdrew some money and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once we had finished we walked down Street and we turned left into Hassell Street. We returned to the bus station and we waited for a bus to Longton. Eventually the bus appeared and it was D&G Bus 6008 on a #1 to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the the grounds. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Roseville FD70 YDT. We turned left onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut through to the residential unit. We went upstairs and chilled out in his room to use his computer and watch buses. We went downstairs and got in the car we set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down into Stoke. We ran around the one-way system and we turned left onto London Road. We turned right onto Penkhull New Road and we ran through Penkhull onto Newcastle Lane. We turned right onto Queens Road and we turned left onto St Peters Way. We turned right onto Lodge Road and we turned right onto Newcastle Lane we turned left onto St Thomas Place and forwards onto Princes Street. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran down into Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran through onto City Road. We ran under the railway bridge and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew attended a new Years Eve party. We went downstairs and the main lounge was filled with food. Matthew ate egg sandwiches and a burger followed by lots of cake! He also drank a bottle of Coke. Matthew stayed up until after midnight in order to see in the new year. Happy New Year 2026! Matthew went upstairs and we to bed around 00:30... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. Whilst waiting to go to the Hanley we saw silver minibus YR11 OJR. Later on we went out for dinner on the bus. We went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. We continued up City Road onto Manor Street and we turned left onto Victoria Road. As it got closer we saw that it was dud First Potteries 35946 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked the Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street. We got up and got off the bus half way up the hill. We returned to the Kidsgrove in ABC Supreme taxi. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto Regent Road we past the former Macari Centre new Kick Zone play centre. We continued onto Cleveland Road and we turned right onto The Parkway. We ran down though Shelton along Ridgway Road. we walked around Hanley Park for a while. We walk northwards through the park and into the North West corner to the sensory play area. We stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage sandwich followed by a jam filled shortbread biscuit and drink the can of Coke. After spending a while there we walked back to the South East corner of the park. We returned back to Fenton we got in the car and we set off along The Avenue and onto Boughey Road where we saw Travel Express LG68 PSZ. We turned left onto Ridgway Road and we turned left onto Mawson Grove and we turned left onto the A52. We turned left onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down Lichfield Street and we turned into the the stop outside the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards waited for a bus back to Newcastle. A short time later the bus appeared. We waited for the next #101 to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63357 on a #18 to Leek. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63364 on a #101 to Safford.

We got on and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off through the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road and we ran down through Etruria an up into Hartshill before joining the A52. We ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one way system and we turned left on the roundabout onto Barracks Road. We got to the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We set off on foot up Castle Walk and we visited Home Bargains. We walked up Castle Walk and we turned right into Ironmarket and we turned left onto High Street and we turned left onto Barracks Road and into the bus station. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 582 on a #85 to Nantwich.

Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 44514 on a #99 to Chell. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63363 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and walked back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on we went to Penkhull by car. We went downstairs and got in the car and set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill into Stoke and we joined the A52. We ran under the railway line and we crossed over the A500. We ran into Stoke town centre and around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we turned right onto Chamberlain Avenue and we stopped at one of the house and Matthew had a glass of Coke. Once we had finished the drink we returned to Fenton by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Chamberlain Avenue and we turned left London Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system onto Campbell Place and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We turned right onto Liverpool Street and we veered right onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and we veered left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran to the end before turning left onto City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. We saw Roseville VE19 JSU going towards Stoke. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a ham sandwich and sausage rolls. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Roseville MT67 NUF. Later on we went to Hanley. We went downstairs and onto City Road. We waited for a bus to Hanley. After a short while we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus. As we waited to cross the road we saw First Potteries 67150 on a #39 to Kidsgrove. Matthew went to the toilet. We waited for a bus to Kidsgrove. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67143 on a #7 to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Kidsgrove. The bus was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67143 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we crossed Broad street onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and we stopped on Stafford Street to to pick up more passengers before we left town along Quadrant Road. We crossed over the ring road and we headed out of town towards Sneyd Green along Town Road and we continued to Smallthorne roundabouts and we continued forwards onto High Lane. At the end of High Lane the end we turned left onto the A527 and we turned right onto Turnhurst Road and we ran up to Packmoor. We continues into Newchapel and onto the High Street. We turned left onto Pennyfields Roads and at the roundabout we went onto Newchapel Road. We ran through the estate via Galleys bank and we ran into Kidsgrove and the bus terminated on King Street where we got up and got off the bus. We continued along King Street and we went to Kidsgrove Oatcakes. Matthew brought at sausage oatcakes. We continued along King Street and we stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage oatcakes and drink the can of Coke. When we had finished we set off onto King Street and we turned left onto Attwood Street and we turned left onto Liverpool Road and up to the bus stop. A short time later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 63172 on a #103 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Burslem before we sat down. We set off along the A50. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and then forwards through Sandyford past the retail park into Tunstall. We ran down the High Street. We continued down the High Street and we ran past the former Co-operative bank. We turned left onto Williamson Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto Scotia Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once ofthe bus we walked to the little Asda that used to be Netto. We did sme shopping and we bought a cake. when we had finished we paid for our shopping and went outside. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus apparoaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63114 on a #38 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off along the A50 past the the old bus garage before running up the hill into Burslem Town centre. We ran through the light onto Waterloo Road and up the hill into Cobridge. We ran down the hill towards Hanley and then up into town along Hope Street and Stafford Street. We turned right at the end past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street before entering the bus station where we got up got off the bus. Once we got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 63114 as it continued towards Crewe.

Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards waited for a bus to Fenton. A short time later we saw Stanton's of Stoke AS05 BUZ on a #50 to Lightwood. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 47520 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton. The bus was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 47520 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled out in his room to use his computer and watch buses. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road. We crossed over the railway line and we walked down to the entrance of the park. In the park Matthew walked up to the playground. Once we had finished in the park we walked back along Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room to chill out. Later on Matthew went out to the pub Matthew came downstairs and got in a car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We corossed over City Road onto Manor Street and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down to Joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We stopped at the pub and we parked up. Matthew went into the pub and sang happy birthday :) Matthew had some egg sandwiches and cake. Matthew had a glass of Coke. When we had finished with the party we ser off back to Fenton. We got in the car and we set off Lichfield Street. We turned right onto the bA52 and we ran into Stoke and past the railway station. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill to Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we went back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstiars to his room to chill out. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 09:00 and had toast and juice for breakfast. He chilled out in his room and watched buses out of the windown until it was time to go out. Whilst we waited to go out we went downstairs and onto Temple Street. We turned cut through onto City Road and we headed towards the bus stop. We continued down to the bus stop and whilst we waited we saw Roseville HK67 SXM. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67146 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67146 as it continues towards Trentham.

A short time later the bus arrived on stand. It was First Potteries 63116 on a #38 to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and then we joined the clockwise ring road. At the end we turned left onto Etruria Road before going under the A53 onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past a new minibus building by the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford. We ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station. We got up and we got off the bus. We set off on foot up Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we past old Edinburgh Woollen Mill which moved to the new food outlets. We visited Poundland. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We continued along High Street. We walked onto Hassell Street. We returned to the bus station and we waited for a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63364 on a #39 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We ran up the hill into Hanley and we ran forwards onto Trinity Street. We turned right onto Stafford Street and we continued past the Albion and the town Hall and we ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We set off onto Lichfield Street. We continued along Tontine Street and across Tontine Square and into Primark and the shopping centre. We went to the games room and we the Market. Matthew visited the toilet. Matthew visited the soft play area. When we had finished we returned over Tontine Square and along Tontine Street. We walked down Lichfield Street and we stopped at the bus station to use the toilet. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67179 on a #7A to Biddulph. A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. It was First Potteries 63345 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off along Dawlish Drive and we turned right onto Wellfield Road. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Dawlish Drive. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and we turned right onto Malthouse Road. We turned right onto Wooliscroft Road and left onto Corneville Road. We turned right onto Ruxley Road and right onto the A52 and and we turned left onto Eaves Lane. We turned left onto Greasley Road and continued onto Greasley Road. Before we joined the A5009 and we ran past the Cemetery to Milton and we turned left onto Millrise Road and we ran forwards onto Maunders Road and we crossed over the old railway line. We turned right onto Newford Crescent and left onto the A53. We turned into the retail park. We headed through Cobridge and we ran past the site of the new Wrights Pies shop. At the lights we turned left onto Waterloo Road. We ran down to the ring Road and then we ran around Hanley before going onto Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we continued onto Victoria Road. We ran up to the top and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500. We went around the one-way system. We ran up the hill into Hartshill. At the roundabout we ran forwards onto George Street and into Newcastle where we ran forwards onto Ryecroft. We ran forward onto Knutton Lane and we went through Knutton. We turned left onto Church Lane and we turned right onto Silverdale Street and we turned left Mill Street and we ran into Silverdale and we continued onto High Street. We turned right onto Sneyd Terrace and we turned left onto Station Road. We turned left onto St Luke's Close and we are going to build some new flats on this site. Matthew climbed up to the top of a few of the hills. when we had finished we called for a taxi back towards Fenton. we saw it was a Lucky Seven taxi. We ran past Morrison into Milehouse and we turned right onto the Southbound A34. We ran past the bus garage and we veered left onto London Road. We turned left onto Ryecroft. We joined the A52 and we ran around the one way system and headed towards Hartshill. We veered left onto Shelton New Road and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran through Stoke and we came off the A500 at Sideway. We headed Eastwards towards Heron Cross and we turned right onto Blurton Road. and we veered right onto Church Street. We turned right onto Beaconfield Drive and we ran to the end. We turned left onto Finstock Avenue and up towards the shops. We turned right onto Ripon Road and at the end we turned left onto the A5035 and we headed through Dresden up to Longton. We ran along the high Level A50 and we turned right onto Baths Road. We turned right onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit and we went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window we saw Selwyns BV74 LLZ on a #540 to Burnley. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a burger and fries. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the dentist and we saw Shelton Care Group WA22 AVN. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left into City Road and we continued onto Fountain Street and we Williams Street. We walked up to Victoria Road we turned right onto City Road and we walked up past KFC onto King Street. we saw Britannia Travel YP68 BPO. We continued past the shop and we waited by the bus stop opposite to the barbers. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it closer we saw it was D&G Bus 112 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off King Street and we ran past the site of the new petrol station and Costa Coffee. We forwards onto City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went down to the bottom end of the bus station and we saw Arriva Midlands 2964 on a #64 to Market Drayton. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We set off on foot up Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we had finished we set off onto High Street and we turned right onto Ironmarket and past the former Malik's store which Titanic Brewers want to open up as a Bod. We turned right onto Castle Walk and into the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw it was First Potteries 35949 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the grounds and onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. We went forwards onto Church Street and the bus topped in the town centre. After a brief stop we continued over the A500 and we got up and got off the bus just before the railway bridge. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 35949 before it continued to Hanley.

We walked up City Road and we cut across onto Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch music videos on his television. We went downstairs and got in the car. As we went down to the car We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we headed down the road into Stoke. We ran under the railway line and we turned left onto the Southbound A500. We joined the Northbound A519 and left onto Abbots Way. We turned left onto Edwards Avenue and forwards onto the Plaisaunce. We stopped to pick up another friend. We continued onto The Plaisaunce and we turned right onto Abbotts Way. We joined the A519 and left onto Northwood Lane. We turned left onto the B5038 and we ran down to Trentham. We turned right onto the Southbound A34 and we saw Roseville DY65 MDN. We stopped at the gardens. Matthew went to Frankie & Benny's. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards when he came back we ordered some food. Whilst we waited for the food Matthew sang happy birthday to our friend. Matthew had a classic cheeseburger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke followed by a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Once we had finished we set off onto the A34 onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Blurton we ran towards tollgate and near to the traffic lights we passed Scraggs 1655 VT. We continued through to Dresden and into Longton. We joined the high level A50 and we turmed left onto Heron Street and we followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Masterson Street and we saw Z Carz YT17 GXA. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and we continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When we got there we saw Temple Street Church minibus KD23 DHC parked up nearby. We went upstairs to his room and we put all his shopping in his cupboard or in the kitchen. He also ate the a can of Coke. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car CN68 JXE parked up. We continued to the stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. Once off the bus we set off onto Lichfield Street. We continued along Tontine Street. We continued onto Tontine Square and we visited the Card Factory. After we had finished we walked across Tontine Square onto Parliament Row. We stopped at Poundland and Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. We walked along Parliament Row and we went to the Pound Bakery and Matthew had a sausage roll. We set off along Parliament Row and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we returned to the bus station. A few mninutes later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Newstead.

We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned left onto Copeland Street. We continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. It was also Trina's birthday today. Matthew went downstairs and they had a party for one of the staff. Matthew had a egg sandwiches and had a glass of Irn Bru and some birthday cake. Latter on Matthew went upstairs to his room. He used his computer and watched buses out of the window. Matthew went back upstairs and had a bath and then had toast for supper. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Belper he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Belper and we saw First Potteries 63146 on a #11 to Hanley. After tea Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road and we turned right onto Manor Street and left onto City Road. We ran past the site of the new Burger King and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. In the back of the First garage we saw First Potteries 67176. We continued along Dividy Road and we stopped near to Wrenbury Crescent. We visited the Respite place and went upstairs to the kitchen Matthew had sausage chips and gravy for dinner followed by a trifle. Matthew went to his room and chilled out. After the visist we went back to the residential unit. We said goodbye and we went downstairs and got in the taxi. We set off onto Dividy Road and we headed Eastwards to Adderley Green. We turned right at the round about onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill and down into Longton. We joined the one-way systam and we turned right onto Commerce Street. We crossed over the A50 and we joined the Westbound carriageway. We came off at Heron Cross onto Heron Street and we followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road and we saw Travel Express SM65 DMY. We turned left onto Christchurch street and left again onto Masterson Street. We turned right onto Watkin Street and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses before going out later on. We saw First Potteries 67172 on a #11 to Hanley. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Newcastle. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67143 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road where we saw Roseville FD70 YDT. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got a picture of First Potteries 67143 before it returned towards Hanley on a #11 service.

We set off onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once we had finished we walked down High Street and we visited a cash machine. We turned left into Church Street and we turned left onto Bridge Street and we went under the subway on to the A34. We turned left Dunkirk and we saw white minibus SN56 FCL. We walked up Castle Hill Road and we right onto Stanier Street. We got out of the taxi and we saw grey minibus YJ73 AKH.

When we got into the building Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards Matthew went outside and went on the slide. He also spent time in the soft play area. A short time later Matthew went inside and had some twirl chocolate bar. We watch buses out of the window we saw Priory Adult Care EJ21 RNU. When we had finished we said goodbye and we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off onto Stanier Street. When we returned to Fenton in a Intercity taxi. We set off along Stanier Road and we turned left onto Pool Side. We turned left onto Dunkirk and we turned right onto Knutton Lane. We around the roundabout and back onto the Ryecroft and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and we ran into Hartshill. We veered left onto Shelton New Road and we stopped briefly near to the old Gilberts furniture shop. We continued down Shelton New Road through the traffic lights and we turned right to join the Southbound A500. We stayed on the high level road and we came off the A500 at City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. He watched television and used his computer. later on he had a bath. For supper Matthew had some toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark.

The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Safeguard YJ19 ARU. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus we saw First Potteries 69155 on a #4 to Hanley. We walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. Matthew brought a jam filled shortbread biscuit before continuing along Castle Walk and into the bus station. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 35943 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham Garden before we went upstairs we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham and then we got onto the fast section of the A34. We ran through Tittensor to Darlaston past the Darlaston Inn which new KFC and a petrol station. We continued down the A34 to the North end of Stone. We Veered left onto Newcastle Road and we ran into Stone town centre. After going around the one-way system and onto Stafford Road. We crossed over the A34 near to the site of the new Lidl. We continued onto Eccleshall Road and we turned left onto Tilling Drive and we ran onto the industrial estate. We rejoined the A34 at the roundabout where the A51 goes Eastwards and we ran Southwards through the fast section on the A34 to the A513 roundabout. We ran the last couple of miles into town down the A34 onto Foregate Street and we turned right onto Chell Road. We crossed the roundabout onto Tenterbanks and we turned right onto Victoria Road. We turned left onto Station Road and we got up and got off the bus. We continued to the park and and Matthew decided he wanted to go to the toilet. Once out of the staion we walked to the pavillion and we brought a sausage bap and a bottle of Coke. Matthew ate his sausage bap a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we went back onto Water Street and we cut through Victoria Park and back to the bus stop outside the railway station. We waited for a bus back to Newcastle. A short time later we saw First Potteries 35948 on a #101 to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus appeared around the corner and it was dud First Potteries 35938 on a #101 to Hanley.

We ran around the South end of town and over the river onto Cope Street. We ran up Eastgate and along North Walls and into the Gaol Square bus station. We left the bus station onto the A34 and we ran Northwards to the edge of town. Due to roadworks on the A34 roundabout we turned left onto the M6 link road and at the first roundabout we did a 180' turned and rejoined the A34. We continued up the fast section of the A34 to the edge of Stone and then we turned left onto the industrial estate. We ran around the estate and onto Tiling Drive. We turned right onto Eccleshall Road and we crossed the A34 onto Stafford Road. We turned left onto Crown Street and we stopped at the main stop in Stone. We ran North up Newcastle Road and we re-joined the Northbound A34. We ran Morth through Meaford and Tittensor and up into Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We walked out of the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Trentham Gardens. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 47520 on a #11 to Hanley.

Matthew went to the toilet and had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. We got an ABC Supreme taxi back to the residential unit. We set off up Victoria Road. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Today Matthew was going back to Blurton and going to Grandma's. He was also going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had his medicine. For breakfast Matthew had toast and orange juice. In the morning Matthew went out on the bus. We went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road and walked to the stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we ran under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. After stopping briefly outside the railway station we turned right onto College Road and We turned left onto Avenue Road and we turned right onto Snow Hill. We turned left and ran up Broad Street. We turned right onto the ring road and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we ran up to the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus to Newcastle. We were considering what bus to do next and we saw First Potteries 35947 on a #101 to Stafford. A few minutes later we saw a bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 47519 on a #4 to Crackley.

At the end we turned left onto Etruria Road before going under the A53 onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past a new minibus building by the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford where we saw First Potteries 63117 on a #4 to Hanley. We ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station. After a short stop we set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We turned left onto Ryecroft and veered left onto Merrial Street. We turned right onto High Street and forwards onto Liverpool Road. We turned left onto the Ryecroft and right onto the Northbound A34. We ran North onto up past the former bus garage to Cross Heath and we got up and got off the bus outside the motorcycle shop. We got a taxi back to Newcastle. It was a lucky seven taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off Southwards down the A34. We turned right into Sainsbury's and we got out of the taxi. In Sainsbury's we brought a bottle of Coke. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we walked next door to the new building on Hall Street and we went upstairs. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy wash down with a bottle of Coke. After we crossed under the A34 and onto Bridge Street. We continued onto High Street and we turned left onto Hassell Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Stoke. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and in the petrol station. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a look around to see what we might catch. We saw D&G Bus 21 on a #1 to Park Site.

Another vehicle we considered catching was D&G Bus 523 on a #9 to Biddulph.

We decided we would do the double decker on the Hanley service. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35943 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before going upstairs. The rear of the top deck was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 35943 before we sat down.

We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 35943 as it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we headed along the A34 and we went up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. He also had some Yule log that was left over from Chrsitmas. When it was time to go we went to the pub and we headed down Occupation Street. We turned left onto the A34 and we saw First Potteries 47520 on a #22 to Newcastle. We continued southwards into Trent Vale we past the Greggs. We continued through Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 33828 on a #101 to Stafford and First Potteries 33827 on a #101 to Hanley. Once we had finished eating we saw Roseville H19 DXR go Southwards. We set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. Matthew also had a can of Cherry Coke. We wrote the Blog and sent a couple of e-mails. Matthew also finished off the rest of the Yule Log. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
