Today Matthew was returning to Blurton for the weekend and going to the pub. He wasn't goig to see Grandma today as she is on holiday. Matthew was also going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had his medication. For breakfast Matthew had toast and orange juice. In the morning Matthew went to Shelton in a taxi. Matthew went downstairs and got in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran past the railway station. We turned left onto Cauldon Road and right onto Boughet Street. We turned left onto the Avenue and we stopped at the park gates. Once out of the taxi we headed into the park. We turned right and walked along Ridgway Road and onto The Parkway. At the end we turned right onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street abd we crossed over the road and headed to the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we set off on foot across the ring road and onto Lichfield Street. We turned right onto Birch Terrace and we turned left onto Charles Street. We went across Old Hall Street onto Parliament Row and we walked through town to the Intu Shopping Centre. We walked thru the shopping centre and we came out on Quadrant Road. We went to Sneyd Green by taxi. We got in the taxi and we 4 set off along Quadrant Road. We crossed over the ring Road and we headed along Town Road. We joined the Northbiund A5272 and we went to Central Forest Park. In Central Forest Park we vivsted the playground. After we had finished we got a taxi back to Hanley. We got in the taxi and we set off along the A5272. We veered right onto Town Road and we crossed over the ring road. We stopped at the side of the Intu Shopping Cente and we got out of the taxi. We set off on foot through Tontine Square and onto Tontine Street. We continued onto Lichfield Street and into the bus station. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards waited for a bus towards Fenton. A short time later we spotted a bus on stand. We saw it was First Potteries 63358 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 67181 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off at the Travers Court bus stop outside the block of flats and we walked onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. Just after 14:30 I arrived to pick Matthew up. He came downstairs with his bag and medication and headphones and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and we saw Travel Express GC65 OXG go past. We looked at the timetable on bustimes.org and we saw First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Newstead. We sat on a bench as we had around 25 minutes to wait. Matthew looked at my phone and we waited for the bus to appear. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Station Bridge Road. We went forwards onto Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50 onto Blurton Road. We ran down the hill and we went past the BP garage. We ran up the hill towards Critchlow's Corner and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconfield Drive and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67153 as it continued towards Newstead.

We walked back to the house and we got back around 15:30. We called up the pub and we booked the table for later on. Matthew chilled out on his computer and had a can of Cherry Coke. As Matthew had onluy had a couple of buses, we decided to catch another bus to the pub. We saw First Potteries 63365 on a #22 to Longton. We set off aound 17:30 and we walked to the stop all the way over on Magdalen Road. We had a few minutes to wait at the stop, and the bus wasn't showing up on the bustimes.org map. A few minutes later the bus appeared around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67180 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trent Vale before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we saw Harry Shaw BP73 KWH. We went past the Trentham Hotel we turned right into New Inn Lane. We turned left into Wilson Road and left into Church Lane. We continued down to the hill and we joined the Northbound A34. We headed into Trent Vale. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. We walked onto the main road and continued to the pub. Once at the pub we waited for mum to arrive. Just as mum got to he pub we saw First Potteries 35944 on a #101 to Stafford. We walked into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream washed down with a glass of Coke. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included ERS Medical FD21 OZC and First Potteries 67179 on a #101 to Stafford. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and we continued into Trentham and we crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We then continued along the A5035 and back home. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We did some more of the Blog and had a can of Cherry Coke and a flake. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
