Trip to the Etruria Transport Rally 20-09-2026

Today Matthew was going to McDonalds and going around the bus garages. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we went to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we set off around 10:40. We got ready and went out in tne car to pick up uncle Dave just after 11:00. We set off through Blurton onto Finstock Avenue, right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We continued onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Afterwards we set off down Wheildon Road and forwards onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we ran around the one-way system. We turned right onto Campbell Place and left onto Hartshill Road. We ran to the edge of Newcastle and we ran down George Street. At the roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road and right onto the Northbound A34. We ran through Milehouse to Chesterton and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a cheeseburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke, and we shared some chicken nuggets. When we had finished we headed to the transport rally at Etruria to see if there was anything interesting in the yard. We got in the car and we set off down the A34. We ran through Milehouse and we turned left onto St Michaels Road and we ran forwards onto Wulstan Drive. We continued onto Sandy Lane and we crossed the A53 onto Albert Street. We turned left onto the A52 and at the roundabout we went forwards onto Shelton New Road. We turned left onto Castlefield Street and we parked up at the far end. We walked into the park past the site of the old gas cylinder and we walked down to the vintage cars. There were no buses at the event this year. We crossed over the canal to the car park and we saw silver minibus S18 WAD parked up.

We visited the toilets at Etruria Industrial Museum and afterwards we went into the tearoom. Matthew had a slice of cake and a can of coke which came to a very reasonable £1.70. We walked back to the car and we drove down Castlefield Street. We turned right onto Shelton New Road and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran through Stoke to Sideway and we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off at Longton and we turned left onto Baths Road. We passed Longton Interchnage and we turned right onto Market Street. We turned left onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill to Adderley Green. We turned right onto the A5272 and we turned right to go and look at the buses and coaches parked up at Scraggs. We saw recent arrival 449 GYN parked up in the yard.

We turned left onto the A5272 and left onto Anchor Road. We turned right omto Mossfield Drive and we drove to the far end. We got out of the car and we walked around the back of the D&G Bus garage. We saw D&G Bus 3014 parked up in the row.

We got back in the car and we drove to the other end of Mossfield Road and we parked in a small layby. We walked down the footpath over the site of the old Wass' market down to the Adderley Green garage. In the corner of the garage we saw First Potteries 63356 parked up. We walked onto the A5272 and we headed Eastwards. by the road over the hedge we saw First Potteries 63349. We walked around the side behind the garage. We saw First Potteries 67147 in the E200MMC row.

We walked past the pertol station onto Anchor Road and we turned right onto the path behind the depot. As we walked along the path of note was First Potteries 35949. We turned left over Wass's site footpath and we walked up the hill back to the car. We got in the car and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We set off along Mossfield Drive and we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran down the hill into Longton and we turned left onto Uttoxeter Road. We turned right onto Commerce Street and at the roundabout we turned right onto The Strand. We got out of the car and waited for a bus. We saw it was First Potteries 63103 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sitting down. The bus set off down The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and we to got up and got off the bus. We met up with uncle Dave and we got in the car. We set off down King Street and we turned left onto Duke Street. We joined the A50 link road up to Heron Cross and we joined the Westbound A50. We ran along Stanley Matthews Way and we passed D&G Bus 6009 on a #24 to Norton. As we approached the pub we saw D&G Bus 5221 on a #27A to Bentilee. We turned at the roundabout and we went back down Stanley Matthews Way. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we came off at Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road and left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we dropped off uncle Dave. We ran back up Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. At Heron Cross we turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed the A50. We ran through Blurton and at the roundabout we veered right onto Church Street and we turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. When we got back Matthew had a scotch egg and a can of Cherry Coke. For tea Matthew had steak slice, chips and beans. later on we continued eriting the Blog. Matthew had his medication and watched some adverts on YouTube. After a bath Matthew had some New York Cheesecake. We continued working on the Blog and watching YouTube until bedtime around 23:30... Trip to Stoke / Adderley Green 23-08-2026

Today Matthew was going to McDonalds and going around the bus garages. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we went to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we set off around 10:40. We got ready and went out in tne car to pick up uncle Dave just before 11:00. We set off through Blurton onto Finstock Avenue, right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We continued onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Afterwards we set off down Wheildon Road and forwards onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we ran around the one-way system. We turned right onto Campbell Place and left onto Hartshill Road. We ran to the edge of Newcastle and we ran down George Street. At the roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Roac and right onto the Northbound A34. We ran through Milehouse to Chesterton and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a cheeseburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke, and we shared some chicken nuggets. When we had finished we headed to Reids to see if there was anything interesting in the yard. We got in the car and we set off down the A34. We ran through Milehouse to Newcastle and we turned left onto Ryecroft. We turned right onto Barracks road and we went to the bus station. We decided to do a bus down to Stoke. After a short wait a bus appeared. We saw it was First Potteries 63175 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the grounds and onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke where we got up and got off the bus. We got in the car and we set off along Church Street. We turned left onto Liverpool Road and we veered right onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street and right onto Lytton Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we ran forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and under the railway bridge into Longton. We ran forwards onto Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Sutherland Road and we turned left onto Weston Coyney Road passed the site of a new Lidl. We turned left onto the A520 and left onto the A5272. We turned right onto Hulme Road and right into the entranced to Park Hall. We parked up near to the visitor centre and we walked to the toilet block and Matthew used the toilet. In the car park we saw red minibus SW19 OHU

Afterwards we returned to the car. We set off out of Park Hall onto Hulme Road and we turned right onto the A5272. We turned left into the road outside the bus garage and we stopped to see what was at the Scraggs garage today. We saw Scraggs 4493 VT parked up.

We turned left onto the A5272 and left onto Anchor Road. We turned right omto Mossfield Drive and we drove to the far end. We got out of the car and we walked around the back of the D&G Bus garage. At the back of the grsge we saw D&G Bus 108.

We got back into the car and we drove down to the other end of Mossfield Drive. We got out of the car and we walked down the footpath to the First Potteries bus garage. We walked around the garage and we saw a number of buses at the front of the garage. We turned left onto the A5272 and we cut behind the back of the pertol station. We saw First 37387 parked up.

We cut back out onto Anchor road and we turned right by the new advertising hoarding along the path behind the bus garage. Also seen was white Enviro200 YX67 VHU. We turned left and up the hill back to the car. When we got back to the car we got in and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We set off along Mossfield Drive and we turned right onto Anchor Road. As we travelled down Anchor Road, the carrier bag we had bough the cans out into the car was sucked out of the window by the wind! We ran into Longton and we turned left onto Market Street. We turned left onto Commerce Street and at the roundabout we turned right onto The Strand. We ran under the railway bridge and onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and we turned left onto the A50 link road. We turned right and we joined the Westbound A50. At Sideway we headed towards the incinerator and we ran forwards onto White Rock Road. We continued onto Railway Cottages and we turned left. We turned around at the end of the road and we drove back to the turning circle to wait for the buses. It appeared we had missed the buses so we went to head them off on Stanley Matthews Way. We set off along White Roack Road and back onto the Southbound A500. We ran to Hanford and we did a u-turn at the roundabout. We headed North to Sideway and we joined the Eastbound A50. We ran along Stanley Matthew Way and the the far end we saw D&G Bus 28 on a #27A to Bentilee. We turned left onto the A5035 and we saw D&G Bus 6007 parked up waited to work the #24 to Norton. We got home around 14:00. Matthew had a Scotch Egg and a can of Dr Pepper. We did the Blog and later on Matthew had a a couple of cupcakes that mum had made. We did some more Blog and later on Matthew had some chciken sandwiches. After tea Matthew chilled on his computer and later on he had his medication. Matthew had a bath and got ready for bed. For supper Matthew had a slice of cheesecake. Matthew used his computer until bedtime around 23:30... Mark.

After getting ready we went to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we set off around 11:20. We got ready and went out in tne car to pick up uncle Dave around 11:30. We set off through Blurton onto Finstock Avenue, right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We turned left onto the A5272 and left onto Anchor Road. We turned right omto Mossfield Drive and we drove to the far end. We got out of the car and we walked around the back of the D&G Bus garage. We saw D&G Bus 111 parked up in the row.

We got back into the car and we drove down to the other end of Mossfield Drive. We got out of the car and we walked down the footpath to the First Potteries bus garage. We walked around the garage and we saw a number of buses at the front of the garage. We turned left onto the A5272 and we cut behind the back of the pertol station. At the side of the bus garage behind the petrol station we saw First 33835 which is at the depot for a repaint.

We veered left onto Wheildon Road and we dropped uncle Dave off. We set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we turned right onto the A50. We ran along Stanley Matthew Way and we turned left onto the A5035. We got back to Blurton around 14:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer. Later on we decided to do a bus to Newcastle and meet jup with mum. We set off on foot and we walked to the bus stop all the way over on Magdalen Road. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67155 on a #22 to Newcastle. We got on to the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down near to the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went past the Trentham Hotel we turned right into New Inn Lane. We turned left into Wilson Road and left into Church Lane. We continued down to the hill and we joined the Northbound A34. In the distance saw an unidentified Lakeside coach join the Northbound A500. We headed into Trent Vale. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we continued forwards on Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Mum was waiting on Stubb Street and we got into the car. We set off onto Barracks Road and we headed up to the Jubilee Roundabout. We did a u-turn and we went back along Barracks Road. We joined the Southbound A34 and we ran into Trent Vale. We ran under the A500 into Hanford and forwards into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and we ran into Blurton. We got back home and Matthew had a Scotch Egg and a can of Dr Pepper. We did the Blog and later on Matthew had a Caramelised biscut cake slice with yoghurt. We did some more Blog and Matthew had a raspberry turnover. We carried on doing the Blog and later on dad did Pizza for tea. After the pizza Matthew chilled on his computer and later on he had his medication. Matthew had a bath and got ready for bed. For supper Matthew had a slice of cheesecake. Matthew used his computer until bedtime around 23:30... Mark.

We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We turned around and we turned right onto Maclaglan Street. We turned right onto Stamer Street and right onto Butler Street. We turned left onto Woodhouse Street and we re-joined the one-way system. We turned right onto Campbell Place and left onto Hartshill Road. We ran to the edge of Newcastle and we ran down George Street. At the roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road and right onto the Northbound A34. We ran through Milehouse to Chesterton and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a cheeseburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke, and we shared some chicken nuggets. After we had finished eating we went outside to the bus stop to wait for a bus to Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67178 on a #39 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the A34 and we ran through Milehouse and as we headed towards Newcastle and we turned left onto Liverpool Road and left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto barracks Road and we turned right into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked over to the car and we got in the car. We set off onto Barracks Road and we turned left onto the A34. We turned left onto The Avenue and we ran up to Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke and onto the one-way system. We turned left onto Glebe Street and right onto Lytton Street and we saw grey minibus WX08 AUJ. We turned left onto City Road and under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran under the railway line into Longton and we went forwards onto Market Street past the former Nat West bank which is going to be a hair transplant premises. We turned left onto Anchor Road and right onto Sutherland Road. We turned left onto Weston Coyney Road and we turned into the Cinder Hill industrial estate to see if there was anything at Reids. The yard was empty today. We continued up Weston Coyney Road passed the site of a new Lidl. We turned left onto the A520 and left onto the A5272. We turned right onto Hulme Road and we stopped at Park Hall. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we went to look at a horse box that had been fitted out inside as a camper van. The guy who owned the vehicle kindly let Matthew have a look inside! Afterwards we returned to the car. We set off out of Park Hall onto Hulme Road and we turned right onto the A5272. We turned left into the road outside the bus garage and we stopped to see what was at the Scraggs garage today. We saw Scraggs 1672 VT parked up on the yard.

We ran through Blurton and at the roundabout we veered right onto Church Street and we turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. When we got back Matthew had a scotch egg and a can of Dr Pepper. Later on we did some more of the Blog. For tea Matthew had cheese on toast follwed by a can of Cherry Coke. Later on Matthew had some cheesecake and watched YouTube. Matthew had a bath and got ready for bed. Matthew went to bed around 23:30... Mark.

We continued onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Afterwards we set off down Wheildon Road and forwards onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we ran around the one-way system. We turned right onto Campbell Place and left onto Hartshill Road. We ran to the edge of Newcastle and we ran down George Street. At the roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road and right onto the Northbound A34. We ran through Milehouse to Chesterton and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a cheeseburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke, and we shared some chicken nuggets. After we had finished eating we went outside to the bus stop to wait for a bus to Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63115 on a #39 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the A34 and we ran through Milehouse and as we headed towards Newcastle and we turned left onto Liverpool Road and left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto barracks Road and we turned right into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked over to the car and we got in the car. We set off onto Barracks Road and we turned left onto the A34. We turned left onto The Avenue and we ran up to Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke and onto the one-way system. We turned left onto Glebe Street and right onto Lytton Street and we saw grey minibus WX08 AUJ. We turned left onto City Road and under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran under the railway line into LOngton and we went forwards onto Market Street past the former Nat West bank. We turned left onto Anchor Road and right onto Sutherland Road. We turned left onto Weston Coyney Road and we turned into the Cinder Hill industrial estate to see if there was anything at Reids. The was and unidentified railway waggon onm a low loader. We continued up Weston Coyney Road passed the site of a new Lidl. We turned left onto the A520 and left onto the A5272. We turned right onto Hulme Road and we stopped at Park Hall. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we went to look at a horse box that had been fitted out inside as a camper van. The guy who owned the vehicle kindly let Matthew have a look inside! Afterwards we returned to the car. We set off out of Park Hall onto Hulme Road and we turned right onto the A5272. We turned left into the road outside the bus garage and we stopped to see what was at the Scraggs garage today. We saw Scraggs VT 9389 parked up on the yard.

We got out of the car and we walked down the footpath to the First Pottereis bus garage. We walked around the garage and we saw an number of First 36829. We turned left onto the A5272 and we cut behind the back of the pertol station. At the side of the bus garage behind the petrol station we saw First 36825 which is at the depot for a repaint.

We cut back out onto Anchor road and we turned right by the new advertising hoarding along the path behind the bus garage where we saw First 36321 which is currently at Adderley Green for assessment for future electric YE74 VGO. We turned left and up the hill back to the car. When we got back to the car we got in and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We set off along Mossfield Drive and we turned right onto Anchor Road. As we travelled down Anchor Road, the carrier bag we had bough the cans out into the car was sucked out of the window by the wind! We ran into Longton and we turned left onto Market Street. We turned left onto Commerce Street and at the roundabout we turned right onto The Strand. We ran under the railway bridge and onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and we turned left onto the A50 link road. We turned right and we joined the Westbound A50. At Sideway we headed towards the incinerator and we ran forwards onto White Rock Road. We continued onto Railway Cottages and we turned left. We turned around at the end of the road and we drove back to the turning circle to wait for the buses. We saw D&G Bus 6001 on a #24 to Newstead. Also seen was D&G Bus 6003 on a #27A to Newstead. After we had seen the bus we went to drop off uncle Dave. We set off along Railway Cotages and we ran forwards onto White Rock Road. We crossed over the A500 and we turned right onto Campbell Road. We turned right onto Selwyn Street and left onto Maclaglan Street. We turned left onto Woodhouse Street and we saw white mininbus BX62 CNN and Travel Express YJ61 HAU. We turned around and we turned right onto Maclaglan Street. We turned right onto Stamer Street and right onto Butler Street. We turned left onto Woodhouse Street and we saw Shelton Care Group LN26 SYP parked up in the property on the corner. We ran forwards onto Fleming Road and we turned right onto South Wolfe Street. We crossed over Church Street onto Kingsway and we turned right onto Glebe Street. We turned left onto Church Street and we turned right onto the A500. We veered left onto Wheidon Road and we stopped to drop off uncle Dave we ran back up Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. At Heron Cross we turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed the A50. We ran through Blurton and at the roundabout we veered right onto Church Street and we turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. Later on we did some more of the Blog. For tea Matthew had chicken sandwiches follwed by a can of Cherry Coke. Later on Matthew had some biscuits and watched YouTube. Matthew had a bath and got ready for bed. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Matthew chilled in his room for a while. Later on Matthew went out for a walk. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto City Road. We crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a Lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill. We turned right onto Manor Street and right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left again onto Temple Street. We went back to the back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled in his room. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we waited for a bus to Stoke. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and once in the bus station we got up and we got off the bus. Whilst we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63346 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 36301 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off the bus. We walked down City Road and we walked up to the bus stop near to Philpott's. We have now starte to build the Burger King. Matthew had a Flake. After a short while we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was dud First Potteries 67156 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We carried on along City Road. We ran past the site of the new Burger King and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive and we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner and we saw First Potteries 63178 on a #11 to Newcastle. Matthew had can of Cherry Coke. We went back to the Fenton. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way over on Dawlish Drive. We turned left onto Beverley Drive. We waited for a bus towards Hanley at the bus stop. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was saw First Potteries 63103 on a #11B to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus We set off onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We got up and got off the bus. Once off up Dividy Road and we crossed. We waited for a bus to Hanley and a short time later we saw . A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63346 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Bentilee before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Dividy Road and we turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green where the bus terminated. We got up and got off the bus. We walked onto the A5272 and we headed Eastwards. by the road over the hedge we saw First Potteries 36302. Along side it was First Potteries 36303. Unusually at the front of the depot was First Potteries 36304. We walked around the side behind the garage. We saw First Potteries 36321. We walked past the pertol station onto Anchor Road and we turned right onto the path behind the depot. As we walked along the path of note was Former Metroline London TE1098/TE1099. We turned left over Wass's site footpath and we walked up the hill back to the car. We got in the car and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We set off along Mossfield Drive and we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran down the hill into Longton and we turned left onto Uttoxeter Road. We turned right onto Commerce Street and at the roundabout we turned right onto THe Strand. We ran through Longton and we went under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran through into Fenton and we turned left onto Duke Street. We turned left onto the Link Road and we turned right onto the high level A50. At the roundabout we turned right onto Blurton Road and left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Whieldon Road and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Before tea We went downstairs out for a walk to fetch his tea. we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We ordered sausages and chips gravy and then we walked back along Smithpool Road and onto and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Matthew went into the living room to have tea. Matthew ate his sausages and chips gravy followed by a Butterfly cake. We went downstairs ans we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we turned right onto the road to the swimming session and afterwards we came out and we had an Intercity taxi back to the residential unit. We set off along the private road and we turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. He watched television and used his computer. later on he had a bath. For supper Matthew had some toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching and we saw it was First Potteries 63146 on a #11X to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. We turned left onto the A5272 and and we ran through Bentilee and we turned left onto Beverley Drive and due to a diversion we came back down beverley Drive and left onto the A5272 and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35684 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Keele before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street onto Bethesda street where we crossed over the ring road and we saw First Potteries 63103 on a #25 to Hanley. We ran down through Shelton along Cauldon Road and we turned left onto Station Road outside the railway station. We went forwards onto A52 and we followed the road around to the right and under the railway line. We crossed over the A500. We continued into Stoke centre along Church Street. We went out of the other side of Stoke and up Hartshill Road into Hartshill. We turned left into The Avenue and we ran down to Hilton Road and we turned right into the hospital. We ran through the hospital and we turned right onto the A34. We ran up to Newcastle and forwards onto Barracks Road at the roundabout. We came into the bus station. We got up and we got off the bus. We walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. Matthew brought a sausage roll before continuing along Castle Walk. We stopped at the benches at the end to eat a jam filled shortbread biscuit and drink the can of Irn Bru. Afterwards we waited for a bus to Hartshill. After a short while we saw First Potteries 35689 on a #25 to Keele. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63349 on a #38 to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Kidsgrove before sitting down towards the back of the bus. set of out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and at the roundabout we turned left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We ran Northwards past the bus garage and we ran through Milehouse. We ran Northwards to the McDonald roundabout and we turned left onto Wolstanton Road. At the roundabout and due to a diversion we came back down Wolstanton Road and left onto the A34 past Bradwell Hospital which is awaiting funding to help rebuild it. We ran forwards onto Crackley Bank and we ran through Crackley and Red Street. We crossed over the A500 and we veered left onto Talke High Street. We turned right somewhere and left onto Chester Road. We re-joined the road and we ran forwards onto Coalpit Hill. We ran forwards onto the A34 and up towards somewhere where we turned right onto the B5371. We turned right onto Mitchell Avenue and we turned left onto Lower Ash Road. We turned right onto First Avenue and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked around the corner onto the B5371. As we turned into the A50 and we walked back onto the A50 and across to the bus stop where we waited for a #38A to Hanley. A short time later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 63345 on a #38A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off along the A50. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and then forwards through Sandyford past the retail park into Tunstall. We ran down the High Street. We continued down the High Street and we ran past the former Co-operative bank. We turned left onto Williamson Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto Scotia Road and past the the old bus garage before running up the hill into Burslem town centre. We continued into Cobridge and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We got up and got off the bus. We continued along Stafford Street and we walked up Piccadilly into Tontine Square. We continued along Tontine Street. Once we had finished we went to the Intu Potteries shopping centre. Matthew had a chicken sandwich washed down with can of Irn Bru. after visiting shops in the shopping centre we walked down Tontine Square. We went into Stafford Street and forwards onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63146 on a #11X to Newcastle.

After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 63115 before it continued towards Newcastle.

Matthew went to Norton by taxi. We went downstairs and we got into the taxi. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill. We turned righ onto the A52 and we ran past the railway station through Joiners Square to Bucknall. We cotinued towards Abbey Hulton and we turned left onto Birches Head Road. We turned right onto Redhill Road and we turned left onto Milton Road. We turned right onto Berwick Road and right onto the A53 we past Aldi where they are proposing to bulid a new retail park. We turned left onto Bellerton Lane and we stopped at the soft play centre. Matthew had a glass of Coke and a piece of fruit crumble with custard. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. When we had finished we went to Fenton in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along Bellerton Lane and we turned right onto the A53 and we headed through Cobridge past the site of the Wrights Pies drive through. We continued through Cobridge lights and past the site of Lidl. We past Festival Park and we headed up to Etruria. We joined the Southbound A500 and we ran down to Stoke where we came off. We turned left onto City Road and we ran under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots with gravy followed by a slice of cheesecake. Later on he had a drink of Fanta orange and a few digestive biscuits. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. He also ate the a can of Irn Bru and a golden crunch creams. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
