Trip to Stoke / Trentham 15-09-2022

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group YS70 KWG. Around 09:00 we went downstairs and out of the unit. We set off on foot onto Temple Street. At the end of Temple Street we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we saw D&G Bus 151 on the #40 to Longton. We continued down the hill and under the railway line before we crossed over the A500 and went into Stoke town centre. On Church Street we saw D&G Bus 113 on the #1 to Park Site.

We turned left into Campbell Place to wait for a bus to Trentham. A few minutes later we saw a bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 67153 on a #21 to Trentham.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Campbell Place and forwards onto London Road and we headed into the West End and we ran past the former Oakhill pub. We ran to the end of London Road and we turned right onto the A34 and we went under the A500 into Hanford. We turned left onto Church Lane and we ran up to the top of the hill. We turned right into Wilson Road and at the end we turned left onto New Inn Lane. We ran down the hill past the Man in Space and we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto New Inn Lane. We walked along the footpath which used to be the old railway line to Trentham Gardens. We came out onto Brook Road and we turned right onto Stuart Avenue. We turned left onto the A5035 and we crossed over the A34 and into Trentham Gardens. we walked around the North end of the lake and we went to Totally delicious. Afterwards Matthew had washed down with can of Coke. Matthew had a ham sandwich washed down with cup of Coke. After finishing eating Matthew went to the toilet. Once we had finished eating we walked back through the main gate and onto the A34. We walked along the footpath which used to be the old railway line to Trentham Gardens. We came out onto Brook Road and we turned right onto Stuart Avenue. We turned left onto the A5035 and we crossed over New Inn Lane and we saw First Potteries 63099 on a #22 to Newcastle. We waited for a bus back towards Stoke. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67158 on a #21 to Hanley.

We got on the bus. We booked to Stoke and as the rear of the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67158 before we sat down.

The bus travelled through Trentham up New Inn Lane, We passed the building site where new housing is being built. At the top of the hill we turned right into Hanford along Wilson Road. We ran down Mayne Street before joining the Northbound A34. As we joined the A34 we saw ABC Supreme HV22 HKP heading Northwards. We crossed under the A500. We turned onto London Road and we ran through Oak Hill past the former Oak Hill pub. We continued through the the West End before running into Stoke Town centre and Campbell Place. There was nothing of interest parked up in City cabs and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off along London Road and we walked through the car park of Sainbury's past the parked up City Cabs taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto London Road. We continued onto Campbell Place and onto the one way system. We followed the one-way system to the left onto Church Street and we veered left onto Liverpool Road. We veered right onto Elanora street and we followed the road to the right onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way-system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and we ran forwards onto City Road. We went under the railway line and we ran up City Road into Fenton. We turned left at Victoria Road and we ran down the hill. We crossed over the roundabout at Joiners Square onto Lichfield street and we ran up the hill towards Hanley. We went around the ring-road and we got onto the A50. We ran through Burslem and we turned left into Lidl and Matthew went into the shop to do some shoppping. Once Matthew had finished shopping we returned to the residential unit in Autocabs taxi. We set off up onto the A50 and we turned right onto Market Place and to the old NatWest bank which has now closed. We ran back up Market Place and we turned right onto the A50 into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we turned onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. we went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. chilled out in his room and used his computer. For tea Matthew had spaghetti and tomato sauce with garlic bread followed by a cheesecake. Later on we went downstairs and out onto Temple Street. We went in a car to Bentilee. We set off onto along Temple Street and onto Christchurch Street. We turned right up Baker Street and left onto Glebdale Road. We turned right onto City Road and at the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and and we went forwards on Lichfield Street. At Hanley joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we turned right onto Bucknall New Road. We crossed over the traffic lights and forwards onto the A52. We veered right and we joined the A5272. We ran to the other end of Bentilee and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. We turned right onto Cowley Way and left onto Waverton Road. We stopped in the estate and we stopped at a house. Matthew went to a themed party. After the party Matthew returned to Fenton by car We set off onto Waverton Street and we turned onto Cowley Way. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and left onto the A5272. We turned left onto the A5272 and at Adderley Green we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill and down the other side and into Longton town centre. We joined onto Commercial Street and we turned right into Chadwick Street. We turned right into Normacot Road and we crossed the roundabout onto The Strand. We ran under the railway line and forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and to his room to chill out. He watched television and used his computer. Later on he had a bath. After his bath he had some toast for supper. He chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. He was also going to visit uncle Dave later on. The council have brought a new council house on Langland Drive. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw D&G 114 on a #1 to Meir.

Later on Matthew went to Bentilee. The bus for the journey it was Lucky Seven minibus VX63 WYK. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Chrsitchurch Street. We turned right City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We stopped at the childrens centre and Matthew went to the toilet. He had a can of Coke. We then continued to Upper Hulme of Lucky Seven VX63 WYK. We got on the bus and we set off onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran up to Bucknall. At Bucknall we continued onto the A5009. We ran through Abeey Hulton and Milton and we joined the Northbound A53. We continued North through Endon. We ran through Longsdon and we ran into Leek. In the town centre we continued forwards onto the A53 and we ran out of town. We ran through Blackshaw Moor and then just after the Winking Man pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had Ham Egg and Chips followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Went it was time to go we returned to Fenton on Lucky seven VX63 WYK. We got onto the Southbound A53 and we ran through Blackshaw Moor and into Leek. We ran South through Leek and continued along the A53. We ran through Longsdon and into Endon. We continued South Through Stockton Brook and down to Cobridge. At the lights we turned left onto Waterloo Road. We ran down to the ring Road and then we ran around Hanley before going onto Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we continued onto Victoria Road. We ran up to the top and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We ran down to Smithpool Road and we turned left. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out whilst he waited to go to uncle Dave's. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw Harry Shaw YN15 ELW going towards Stoke.

When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. Matthew had some cheesecake and a can of orange Tango. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. Later on he had another slice of cheesecake and a few digestive biscuits and custard creams. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. He was also going to visit uncle Dave later on. The council have brought a new council house on Langland Drive. When it was time to go out we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre In the morning Matthew went out on the bus. We set off on City Road and then walked up to the bus stop outside the Marmaris takeaway. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63097 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We stopped outside the old job centre as the #11 no longer calls in the Interchange. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We ran around to Lichfield Street and we turned right to pull up outside the stop adjacent to the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we walked up Lichfield Street. We turned right onto Old Hall Street and right onto Charles Street. We went to Iceland to do some shopping. Matthew went shopping brought a toffee cheesecake. We walked onto Birch Terrace and as we walked back we saw Stoke-on-Trent city council welfare bus LK17 DXB.

We continued down Birch Terrace we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we crossed over the road onto Tontine street. For dinner Matthew went to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had a chicken breast burger and fries followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. We set off down Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street. back at the bus station we saw Stanton's of Stoke VK61 BVG on a #61 to Bradeley Village. Matthew went to the toilet and then they waited for a bus back to Fenton. When the bus appeared it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23A to Newstead.

Whilst we waited for the bus to be readied for service we saw First Potteries 37158 on an #25 to Keele. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67155 before we sat down.

As we waited to depart we saw First Potteries 67635 on an #7A to Biddulph. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned left onto Station Road and we ran part the railway station before going right onto Glebe Street. After a brief stop we continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill we turned right onto Smithpool Road where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked up Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre, In the afternoon Matthew went to Bentilee on Lucky seven VX63 WYK. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned right onto the A50 link road and we joined the Westbound Heron Cross and onto the Westbound A50 We came off the A50 onto Stanley Matthews Way At the end we turned right onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line to Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we dropped a service user off before returning back onto the A5035. We ran back through Blurton and Dresden and over the A50. We joined Chadwick Street and we went past the Gladstone Pottery Museum. We crossed over Uttoxeter road and onto Bridgewood street. We turned left onto Forrister and then right onto Anchor Road. We ran to the top of the hill and into Adderley Green. In the back of the First garage we saw First Potteries 53207. We turned left onto the A5272. We turned right onto Beverley Drive and left onto Dawlish Drive where we stopped. After a stop we returned to Fenton on Lucky Seven VX63 WYK. We set of along Dawlish Drive and we turned right onto Beverley Drive. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran past the Firstbus depot. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill and down into Longton. We turned left onto Market Street and we ran around Longton on the one-way and we turned right onto Commerce Street. We turned right onto the Strand and we ran forwards onto King Street. We ran trough Foley and forward into Fenton. We ran onto City Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out before going to uncle Dave's. Whilst we waited we saw Harry Shaw YR16 BLJ going towards Stoke.

Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked outside

In the morning went to Hanley on the bus. We set off on foot onto Glebedale Road and across City Road. At the top we went around the corner onto Victoria Road to wait for the bus at the bus stop. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was unusually First Potteries 32647 on a #6A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we went upstairs. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ring road. We then got up and got off the bus at the stop outside the bus station. Once we got off the bus we went inside the bus station to wait for the next #23 to Stoke. Whilst we waited we decided to walk into town to visit Wright's Pies We set off on foot onto Tontine Street and we walked up to the square where the pie shop was situated. From the shop Matthew had a Manchester Tart. We walked back along Tontine Street down through Hanley to the Brewers Fayre pub. Matthew had a burger and fries followed by by a lemon meringue pie. Matthew had a drink of Coke and then went to the toilet. We walked back up to Stafford Street and we went back to the bus station. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67159 on a #21 to Trentham.

A few minutes later we spotted First Potteries 41499 on a #23 to Newstead, which we decided to do. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned left onto Station Road and we ran part the railway station before going right onto Glebe Street. After a brief stop we continued forwards onto Glebe Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus. We set off along Glebe Street and we walked around the corner onto Church Street to the One Stop Shop. We couldn't get a bus pass here so we went to Bentilee. We crossed the road to wait for the next #11. A few minutes later it appeared and it was First Potteries 63173 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Bentilee before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street and we crossed over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we climbed up the hill and over the old railway line to Leek. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We stopped outside the old job centre as the #11 no longer calls in the Interchange. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Sutherland Road and we passed blue minibus GN03 MTZ. We turned left onto Weston Coyney Road and we ran up the bank. half way up the bank we turned left onto Farnworth Road. we jinked onto Lindburn Road and we ran to the end turning right onto Amison Street. At the end of the street we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive where we got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the Bentilee neighbourhood Centre and we got a bus pass from there. Once we had the bus pass we returned to the road to catch a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later it appeared and it was First Potteries 63172 on a #11A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up Beverley Drive At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We ran around to Lichfield Street and we turned right to pull up outside the stop adjacent to the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we walked into the bus station. Once we got off the bus we walked down to the Smithfield to go a get a bus pass. We walked down Adventure place and past the museum to the new building. We were finally able to get a bus pass. We crossed over the ring road and we went to the shop on the corner of Hinde Street car park and we went to the pet shop to see some animals. Afterwards we went to Hanley Museum to see the natural history display. We then returned onto Bethesda Street and up John Street to the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet in the bus station. We waited at the stand out the bus station to catch a bus to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63179 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned right into Birch Terrace. We followed the road around to the left onto Charles Street. At the top we turned right onto Old Hall Street before turning right onto the ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. One off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road and we turned left into Glebedale Road. When we got back to the day centre. When it was time to go back to the residential unit Matthew set off on foot onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew then chilled out in his room on his computer and watching buses out of the window we saw Destination Courtesy Travel YE17 AHA. Matthew had toast and can of Coke. tea was chicken nuggets and beans followed by Chocolate cake and custard. Matthew went to the room to watch buses whilst we saw Leek Link minibus YX53 CYZ.

Matthew went on his computer for a while and then he went out to the disco in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road onto Manor Street and we ran ran to the end. We turned left onto Victoria road and we ran down the hill to Joiners sqaure. we crossed over the roundabout and onto Lichfield Street. We turned right onto Westmill Street. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran into Bucknall. We went forwards onto the A5009 and through Abbey Hulton. We turned left into Birches Head Road and to our destination. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a drink of Coke. Matthew did some dancing until it was time to return to the residential unit. Transport back was Lucky Seven minibus GJ11 ZXV.

We set off onto Birches Head Road and we turned right onto the A5009. We ran through Abbey Hulton and into Bucknall. We ran forwards onto the A52 and at joiners Square we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill and we turned right into Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and then left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When Matthew got back he went up to his room. He used his computer and watched music videos on the Television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in respite and he was going to his day service and I was in Blackpool & Cleveleys. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Matthew then waited in his room until it was time for the bus to turn up. Whilst he waited we saw First Potteries 42892 on a #13 service to Hanley.

A few minutes later Matthew's bus turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We set off onto the A5272 and we ran Eastwards to Adderley Green. We turned right at the roundabout and we ran down the hill into Longton. We went around the one-way system and we crossed over the A50 onto the A5035. We then ran through Dresden. We crossed over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into new Inn Lane and we picked up another service user before returning onto the A5035. We turned left into Church Road At the roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We crossed over the A50 and we went through the traffic lights to Heron Street. We followed the road onto Station Bridge Road and then onto Glebedale Road and to the day centre. In the morning Matthew went to Shrewsbury on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and then we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill under the railway line and then we got onto the southbound A500. We did the A500 right to the end and then we turned left onto the A519. We ran for a couple of hundred yards and then we turned right onto the A5182 by the Eddie Stobart depot. We ran Westwards along the the road until the end until we joined the Southbound A53. we ran through Whitmore andbaldwin's gate and then we joined the A51 by The swan with Two Necks. A couple of hundred yards later we turned left onto the A53 again. We ran through Loggerhead and then we went around the North side of Market Drayton. We crossed the A41 at Tern Hill. We were now out in open countryside and we ran along the fast newer sections of the road to Shawbury. Once we passed through the village we ran to the edge of Shrewsbury and then we stopped at a pub called the Two Henrys. For dinner Matthew had gammon, egg & chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had Bakewell tart & cream. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. After we had finished we returned back to the day centre in Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto the A53 and we returned Northwards via Shawbury, Tern Hill and Loggerheads before we crossed the A51 by the Swan with Two Necks. We continued North through Baldwin's Gate and Whitmore. We turned right onto the A5182 and then we ran north up the A500. At Sideway we went east along the A50 and we came off at Heron Cross. We went through the traffic lights to Heron Street. We followed the road onto Station Bridge Road and then onto Glebedale Road and to the day centre. After a short stop Matthew returned to Bentilee on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedlae Road and ran forwards onto Station Bridge Road. We continued onto Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50. We continued onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We turned right onto Church Road and at the end we turned right onto the A5035. We ran over the railway line into Trentham and we turned right into New Inn Lane. We dropped another service user off and we returned onto the A5035 and we saw Stanways VAZ 4815. We travelled back through Blurton into Dresden and up to Longton and we crossed over the A50. We then turned right onto Chadwick Street. We crossed over Uttoxeter Road onto Bridgewood Street and we went under the railway line and at the end we turned left onto Forrister Street. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill into Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A5272 and we ran through on Dividy Road before we got back to our destination. When Matthew got back into respite he went up to his room to watch the passing buses. We saw Copeland's Tours MIB 116 going towards Adderley Green.

A few minutes later we saw Stoke-on-Trent city council welfare bus FJ05 EKN arrive in the yard.

Matthew had his tea which consisted of fish with mashed potatoes followed by lemon Cheesecake. after tea Matthew went to Longton on ABC Supreme NH57 HRO. We set off onto the A5272 and after doing a u-turn at the roundabout we ran Eastwards to Adderley Green. We turned right at the roundabout and we ran down the hill into Longton. We went around the one-way system and we turned of the Strand into the car park. Matthew visited B&M and brought some cans of Coke. We returned to respite on ABC Supreme NH57 HRO. We set off out of the car park and onto the one way system. We turned left off Market Street onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill to Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A5272 and we ran Westwards to Bentilee. When Matthew got back he chilled out and watched some Television. Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. Matthew read about the fact that there has been a planning application put in to build a KFC in Biddulph. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange for breakfast. Matthew then went to his room to wait for his bus and watch the other buses coming and going. We first saw Stanton's of Stoke minibus WR58 LHY.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Dividy Road and we ran towards Bucknall where we joined the A52. We followed the road to the left at Limekiln Bank and we ran across Joiners square and we turned right onto cauldon Road. We turned right onto Boughey Road and left onto the Avenue. At the end of the Avenue we turned left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway before we joined the Southbound A500. We ran down to Hanford and we came off the A500 onto the A34. We turned left onto Church Lane and at the top we turned right onto Wilson Road. At the end of Wilson Road we turned left onto new Inn Lane and we ran into Trentham. After picking up another service user, we went forwards onto the A5035 and over the railway line into Blurton. We turned left onto Church Road and we ran through Blurton along Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50 into Heron Cross. We continued onto Heron Street and we followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road. We went forwards onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew went to Morrisons in Festival Park in Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down to the bottom of the hill and we turned right onto the A52. We followed the road around past the sixth form college and we turned left onto Boughey Road. At the end we turned right onto The Avenue and we ran around the park and on Regents Road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road around Hanley. We followed the road to the end and we turned left onto Etruria Road. We ran under the A53 onto Festival Way and we turned right onto Ridgehouse Drive. We then parked up at Morrison's and Matthew went shopping. Matthew did his shopping for the week and then returned to Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Greyhound way and we turned right onto Waterloo Road. We turned right onto Grange Street. We followed the road around to Emery Street and we stopped at Chirst Church. At the church Matthew ate some gingerbread men before returning to the Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU for the trip back to Fenton. We returned onto Waterloo Road and we saw first Potteries 66852 on a #3 to Talke. We crossed over Cobridge light and we ran down to the ring road. We ran clockwise around Hanley and we turned left onto Lichfield Street. At joiners Square we crossed over the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up to the top of the hill. We turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Glebedale Road and we arrived back at the day centre. For dinner Matthew had a jacket potato with beans and cheese. In the afternoon Matthew went on the computer. When it was time to back to respite, transport for the return journey was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street and we went through to Heron Cross. We travelled through Blurton along Blurton Road and we went forwards onto Church Road. We turned right Beaconsfield Drive and then left onto Finstock Avenue. At the end we went left onto Magdalen Road and then onto the A5035. We crossed the railway into Trentham and then right into New Inn Lane. After dropping of a service user we got back onto the A5035 and we ran into Blurton. We continued up through Dresden into Longton and we crossed over the A50. We ran past the Gladstone Pottery Museum on Chadwick Street and we crossed over Uttoxeter Road and onto Bridgewood Street. Due to the road ahead being closed we turned left onto Sutherland Road an we went past the Police Station. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill and down the other side into Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A5272 and we ran into Bentilee and into respite. Tonight Matthew was going out for his tea. Transport for the trip was Meadows DX65 DMO. We set off onto the A5272 and we ran through Bentilee to Bucknall where we joined the A52. We followed the road around to the left and we crossed over Joiners Square roundabout we ran down towards the railway station and we turned right into Station Road. At the end we turned left onto Stoke Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran a few miles North and then we joined the A34 at the recently re-open Talke roundabout. We ran North to the Caudwell Tavern where we followed the A34 to the right. We continued north to the edge of Congleton and we turned right onto Padgbury Lane. A few yards up the road we stopped at the Heath Farm pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. For tea Matthew ate a burger and fries, followed by chocolate fudge with ice cream. When it was time to go we climbed back aboard Meadows DX65 DMO. We set off North up Padgbury Lane and we went east on the A534 into town. We joined the A34 and we turned right onto the A54, past the bus station and forwards onto the A527. We then ran back past Congleton railway station and into Biddulph. We continued South thrrough Knypersley and into Brown Lees. We continued South through Brindley Ford, and Fegg Hayes to Chell. At the roundabout we turned left onto High Lane and we ran through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green to Townsend where we followed the road left through Northwood. We Joined Bucknall Road and we crossed Limekiln Lights onto the A52 and into Bucknall. We turned right onto the A5272 ans we ran up into Bentilee and back to respite. When we got back Matthew chilled out watching TV. Matthew then had a bath and fr a late supper Matthew had some toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service.Later on he was going home and going to the pub for tea. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Matthew waited in his room until his transport to get to his day service. Whilst he waited we saw Z Carz minibus YS09 LWV. A short while later Matthew transport turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and we set off onto the A5272. We ran down to Bucknall and we joined the A52. At Limekiln Bank we followed the A52 to the left. We ran up to Joiners Square and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran to the top of the hill and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew had communication skills and used the computer. For dinner Matthew had Jacket Potato with beans followed by toffee cheesecake. In the afternoon Matthew went to his trampoline class. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we set off onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. we turned left onto City Road. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto the A52 and headed towards the railway station. We continued along the A52 over Joiners Square roundabout and past the Limekiln Bank junction and forwards into Abbey Hulton. We turned right onto Abbots Road and we stopped at the sports centre. Matthew used the toilets before having a session on the trampoline. When it was time to go back to the day centre Matthew got back on board Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Abbotts Road and we turned left onto Woodhead Road. We turned left onto Leek Road and we ran turned right onto Birches Head Road. We ran right to the other end and we joined onto Town Road in Townsend. We ran into Hanley and we joined the ring road. We ran around to Broad Street and we ran down the hill along Stoke Road and down to the A500. We ran along the A500 to Fenton and we came off onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right into Glebedale Road and to our destination. After a quick stop we carried on towards home on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we set off onto Glebedale Road. We went forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we went forwards onto Heron Street. We crossed over the crossroad and over the A50 and we went through Blurton along Blurton Road. We veered right onto Church Road and we continued to the end onto the A5035. We headed over the railway line into Trentham and we turned right onto New Inn Lane. After dropping off another service user we returned New Inn Lane and then left onto the A5035. Matthew got home just before 15:00 and had toast and can of Irn Bru. Before we were going for tea, we had to do a couple of other things. We set off around 16:30 and we ran down to the A5035. We turned right onto Stanley Matthews Way and we joined the Westbound A50. We got on the Northbound A500 and we ran up to Shelton where we turned onto Shelton New Road. We saw First Potteries 67631 running out of service. We ran past the old Twyford factory and up to the gas garage where we saw A1 Embassy SC06 UYF. We filled up with LPG and then we got headed back to Shelton New Road where we saw Newcastle under Lyme college DX63 PXB. We turned right and went up towards Newcastle where we saw Plants P16 NTM. We joined George street and ran down into Newcastle. We joined the one-way system and at the Jubilee Roundabout we crossed over onto Ironmarket and we parked up. We walked over to the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. For tea Matthew had a burger and chips followed by a Chocolate fudge cake and ice cream washed down with a glass of Coke. Whilst we ate we saw Stanton's of Stoke WA08 JVX. When it was time to go we got back into the car and we set off onto the Jubilee Roundabout. We Turned right onto barrack Road and we ran down to the A34. We headed South through Trent Vale and Hanford and forwards into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway into Blurton. We got home around 19:45. Up the road we could see The Terrace minibus BF52 MSV.

Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. The respite place was still in the middle of refurbishment. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. When Matthew had finished Eating, he went to his room to wait for his ransport and watch buses and we saw First Potteries 53830 on a #13 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we set off onto the A5272. We ran through Bentilee onto the A52 at Bucknall. At the junction we followed the A52 to the left. We turned left at joiners Square and we ran to the top of Victoria Road were we saw Stanton's of Stoke's newest arrival WR58 LHX. We turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew Matthew went to Festival Park to do some shopping. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. At the bottom of the hill and we turned right onto the A52 and we ran up to the railway station. We went along Station Road and at the end we turned right onto Stoke Road. We ran up the hill and we stopped briefly at the other day centre before continuing up Snow Hill into Hanley. We crossed the ring road onto Broad Street and we followed the one way system to the left onto Marsh Street. At the end of Marsh Street we went forwards onto Waterloo Road. At Cobridge lights we turned right and we ran through the back streets back onto Waterloo road before turning right onto Greyhound Way. We ran down the hill and we parked up in the supermarket. In the shop Matthew brought some supplies for Baking on Friday. When Matthew had finished shopping we returned to Shelton care Group DV10 JCU. There must have been something which we couldn't get from the supermarket, so we went on to another shop! We set off Pavillion Drive and left onto Ridgehouse Drive. At the roundabout we turned left onto Festival Way and we crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We turned left onto New Century Street and we parked up outside B&M. We went in and we brought some digestive biscuits before we returned to Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We then headed back to Festival Park. We ran back down Etruria Road and under the A53 onto Festival Way where we saw Stanton's of Stoke 3093 RU. WE turned right onto Ridgehouse Drive and we park up on the large car park adjacent to the shops. We then carried on to Pavillion Drive and forwards onto Greyhound Way. At top we turned right onto Waterloo Road and we did a quick circle of the streets around Cobridge light before going through the traffic light and up towards Hanley on Waterloo Road. We joined the ring road and we ran around to the other side of town before going left onto Lichfield Street. At joiners Square we ran over the roundabout onto Victoria Road. At the top of the road we turned right onto City Road and then left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. For dinner Matthew had pizza followed by cake. In the afternoon Matthew watched a DVD. We continued onto Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50. We continued onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We dropped another service user off and we returned onto the A5035. We travelled back through Blurton into Dresden and up to Longton and we crossed over the A50. Ater going around the one way system onto the jubilee roundabout we ran along the Ryecroft to the A34. We ran North up to Chesterton and we turned left onto the B5500. We ran through Bignall End into Audley and we went North up Alsager Road under the A500 and into Alsager. In the town centre we turned left onto the B5077. We ran west for around 1/2 a mile and we came to the Plough Inn. Mathew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Matthew had a burger and chips followed by chocolate fudge cake. When it was time to go home we returned to Bentilee on Z Carz MV53 KKO. We set off onto the B5077 and we passed through Alsager and onto the A50. When we got to the A34 we went North up to Congleton. We turned right onto west Street and we ran through town and onto the A527. We travelled South and past Bibbulph on the by-pass and we ran down through Knypersley and Brindley Ford. We climbed the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran over Smallthorne roundabouts into Sneyd Green and we followed the road down through Northwood onto Limekiln Bank. We crossed over the traffic lights onto the A52 and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We ran up to Bentilee ad aback to respite. When we got back to respite Matthew spent time watching television. Matthew had a bath and then hda toast for supper. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark
