Trip to Hanley / Stoke 27-09-2026

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Newcastle. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. On the way we saw First Potteries 63354 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We stood at the bus stop and we waited for a first but to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Potteries 63116 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We paused for a while and we continued along Church Street. We followed the one-way system to the left onto Liverpool Road and left again onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and left onto Glebe Street. We went under the railway line and we turned left onto Station Road. We turned right onto College Road and we ran up through Shelton. We continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road and onto Bethesda Street.We turned right onto John Street and up into the bus station and we got off the bus. Once of the bus Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we went across Lichfield Street and we continued along Stafford Street and we stopped at the cosmetics shop to buy dinner and we set off along Stafford Street and we went onto Lichfield Street and we went into the bus station. We waited for a bus to Cobridge. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 6002 on a #32X to Upper Tean. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63112 on a #9 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto john Street and left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down through Shelton along Regent Road and College Road. We passed the railway station and we continued forwards onto the A52. We followed the road to the right under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 we entering Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We turned left onto Princes Road past the old school. Part of site was demolished to make more car parking spaces. We ran into Penkhull village. We onto Newcastle Lane and we turned right onto Hilton Road. We turned into the hospital and we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Castle Walk and we stopped to Bristish Heart Foundation Home and Fashion and Matthew bought some boots. We walked along Castle Walk and we turned left onto Hassell Street and we visited Poundland. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We came out the shop and we stopped at the market stalls. Afterwards we set off along Hassell Street and back to the bus station. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 63179 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the grounds and onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. We went forwards onto Church Street and the bus topped in the town centre. After a brief stop we continued over the A500 and we got up and got off the bus just before the railway bridge and we saw white minibus M615 XKF. We got a Lucky Seven taxi up to Hartshill. We set off along City Road and we ran down the hiull into Stoke and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the the A500 and we joined the Northbound carriageway. At the next junction we came off onto Shelton New Road. We ran through the cross road up to Hartshill and at the roundabout we ran into Newcastle down George Street. A at the roundabout we ran forwards onto Ryecroft and we turned left onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. We turned right the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning left into Ashlands Road and we ran forwards onto Thornburrow Drive past the fromer hospital which is going to be a new 70-home estate. We turned left onto Queens Road and we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill into Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran through onto City Road. We ran under the railway bridge and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. ater on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we waited for a Lucky Seven taxi and we went to Stoke. We got in the taxi and we set off down City Road. We ran down the hill onto the A52 and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 and we ran into Stoke. We went onto the one-way system and we turned right onto South Wolfe Street. We crossed over Church Street onto Kingsway and we parked up. We walked around the orner and we went to the pub. Matthew had a burger and chips washed down with a glass of Coke. Afterwards we walked back to the car and we returned to Fenton. We set off onto Kingsway and we turned right onto Glebe Street. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we ran forwards on City Road up into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We saw Shelton Care Group YP70 JYJ outside. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we went onto Christchurch Street. We walked through the passageway and across the car park onto City Road and we saw blue minibus CX64 PWL.

A short time later we saw First Potteries 63360 on a #11 to Kidsgrove.

We walked up to Victoria place and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We walked down the hill to the park. In the park Matthew had a sit down and ate a washed down with a can of Coke. We left the park onto Beville Street and we turned left onto Victoria Road to wait for the bus at the bus stop. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 63364 on a #6A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Meir Park before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up City Road and forwards onto King street We ran through Foley and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over Market Street past the fromer Hailfax bank. We walked onto the Strand and we walked into the Bennett Precinct and we visited at The Kiln cafe for dinner. Matthew had a sausage and cheese oatcakes washed down with a can of Coke. We continued into the Precnt and around the corner to Poundland. We went in and Matthew brought some dandelion and Burdock. Once we had finished shopping we walked out the Bennett Precinct and onto The Strand and we turned left by Hylands and past the shops to Tesco. We parked up and we went into Tesco and bought some shopping. We got back in the car and we set off out of the Tesco and we crossed over the A50 onto Foley Road and at the end we turned right onto Longton Hall Road and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran up the hill and at the roundabout we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 19:30. When we got back we chilled out for a while and Matthew had his medication. We got in the car and we set off through Blurton past the site of the new housing development onto the A5035. We turned right onto Stanley Matthews Way and we ran to the end. We joined the Westbound A50 and we ran down the hill to Sideway. We came off the A500 and we headed up to Longport. At the roundabout and we turned right on the Eastbound A5271 past the fromer pub. We turned left onto Brownhills Road and towards Tunstall. We turned right onto Williamson Street and we turned left onto Scotia Road past the former Tunstall baths. We turned right onto the A5271 and we turned left onto Greengates Street. We turned left onto Hunt Street and we ran around through the High Street and we turned left onto Furlong Road. We went to see the North Stafford Motors ghost sign before returning up Furlong Road. We turned right onto High Street and past the City Centre Central taxi base. We saw City Centre Central GL22 KSV in the yard. We considered going to the stop by Lidl. We decided to head back towards the town so we crossed over Furlong Road and past the Wheatsheaf. As we were approaching the roundabout we across the road and round the corner on to the High Street and we turned right onto the Square and past the former Lloyds Bank. We walked back onto the High Street and we crossed over the road. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A short time later we saw the bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 63354 on a #103 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked the Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the High Street and we turned left into Williamson Street. We turned right into Scotia Road and we ran into Burslem town centre. We ran past the site of the new Kiln Gate Retail park and we continued into Cobridge and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We ran past the taxi ranks and we continued past the Albion and the town Hall and we ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We waited for the next #23 back to Fenton. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63103 on a #23 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton we sat down. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. At the bottom of the hill we turned left onto Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road. We continued to the end of Bethedsa Street and we turned right onto Regent Road. We ran forwards onto College Road and we ran down the hill through Shelton. We turned left onto Station Road and we stopped briefly outside the railway station. At the end of station road we turned right onto Glebe Street. We ran onto the one-way system and we followed it onto Church Street. After crossing over the A500 we ran under the railway line onto Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut through to the residential unit. We went upstairs and to his room to chill out. After getting ready we went downstairs and we got in the car and we drove onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto City Road. We ran down the hiull into Stoke and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the the A500 and we joined the Northbound carriageway. At the next junction we came off onto Shelton New Road. We ran through the cross road up to Hartshill and at the roundabout we ran into Newcastle down George Street. We turned right the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning left into Ashlands Road and we ran forwards onto Thornburrow Drive past the former hospital which is going to be a new 70-home estate. We turned left onto Queens Road and we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill into Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran through onto City Road. We ran under the railway bridge and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. For tea Matthew had a jacket potato with tuna followed by cake. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. In the late evening Matthew went downstairs to spend time with the other residents ar cuppa club. Matthew had various biscuits as well as some rice crispy cakes washed down with a can of Dr Pepper. Later on Matthew went back upstairs and had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to out for bus later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, Outside we saw ABC Supreme YO69 AZB. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Stoke. We stood at the bus stop and we waited for a first but to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was D&G Bus 6010 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the road to wait for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw a double decker approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35950 on a #25 to Keele. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Hartshill Road. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Travel Express HF64 AJU. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 35950 before it continued towards Keele.

We waited for the next bus back to Blurton. Whilst we waited we saw Arriva Midlands 3236 on a #64 to Hanley.

Once of the bus we set off up Castle Walk and we stopped at Bristish Heart Foundation Home and Fashion and Matthew bought some boots. We walked down Hassell Street and we veered left onto Stubbs Street and we walked out of the bus station Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we waited for a bus to Hartshill. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 35947 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham Garden before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham and we got up and got off the bus near to Trentham Garden. Once off the bus we crossed over the A34 and we went into the gardens and we walked to the North West corner and we stopped to Frankie & Benny's. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards when down with a glass of Coke. When we had finished around the North end of the lake and Matthew stopped to got to the toilet. later on we walked through the retail village and we walked to the the garden centre. Once we had finished eating we walked back through the main gate and onto the A34 opposite the A5035. We turned left and walked along the A34 to the old Gardens entrance where the bus stop is situated. We waited for a bus back towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35941 on a #101 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Northwards through Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. We got up and got off the bus. Once in the bus station we waited for a bus back to Fenton. We got in the bus station and there was already a bus we could catch in the bus station. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 35688 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the grounds and onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. We headed back up to the A5010 and we turned right onto Shelton Boulevard and we turned left onto Forge Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We turned left onto Ridgehouse Drive and we turned right onto Pavilion Drive. We turned left onto Greyhound Way and we ran forwards onto the A50 and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We turned right at the end past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street before entering the bus station where we got up got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street and onto Stafford Street. We continued to Discount Store. We brought a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished we crossed over Stafford Street. We continued onto Lichfield Street and to the bus station. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63118 on a #103 to Crewe. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67174 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 we ran under the railway line onto City Road. We ran up the hill and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We ran forwards onto Heron Street and we went through the traffic lights onto Blurton Road. After crossing over the A50 we continued through Blurton. We turned right onto Church Road and right onto Beaconfield Drive. We ran to the other end and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off to foot and we turned left onto Consett Road. We got ready to go out and we set off around 15:00 on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Consett Road. We turned left onto Finstock Avenue and we turned right onto Ripon Road. At the bus stop. On the way to the bus stop. We waited for the next first bus towards Fenton. A short tme later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Ripon Road onto we turned left onto Finstock Avenue. We turned right onto onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. At the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and up the hill into Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we went through the traffice lights onto Heron Street. We followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road and and we turned left onto Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had his camera repaired. Matthew had a ham sandwich and sausage rolls. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 08:30 and had pancakes for breakfast washed down with orange juice. Latrer on Matthew set off on foot towards Stoke. We cut through onto City Road and past the closed Afford rent-a-car depot. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards Newcastle. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67153 on a #38 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and then we joined the clockwise ring road. At the end we turned left onto Etruria Road before going under the A53 onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past a new minibus building by the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford where we ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station. We got up and we got off the bus. We walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we visited Home Bargains. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We walked up Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. Matthew brought a sausage roll before continuing along Castle Walk. We stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage rolls followed by a jam filled shortbread biscuit and drink the can of Coke. We continued up Castle Walk and we turned left onto Ironmarket. We turned left onto High Street. We walked onto Hassell Street. We returned to the bus station and we waited for a bus to Fenton. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67172 on a #38 to Kidsgrove

We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road. We crossed over the railway line and we walked down to the entrance of the park. In the park Matthew walked up to the playground. Once we had finished in the park we walked back along Grove Road. We crossed over the Whieldon Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Masterson Street and we turned left onto Watkin Street. We continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. For tea Matthew had a jacket potato with tuna followed by cake. In the late evening Matthew went downstairs to spend time with the other residents ar cuppa club. Matthew had various biscuits as well as some rice crispy cakes washed down with a can of Dr Pepper. Later on Matthew went back upstairs and had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Stafford on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. On the way to the bus stop we saw silver minibus SC24 YYK. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 67150 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards Stafford. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67149 on a #98 to Ball Green. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. It was First Potteries 35948 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stafford before we went upstairs and down towards. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham and then we got onto the fast section of the A34. We ran through Tittensor to Darlaston and we continued down to the North end of Stone. We Veered left onto Newcastle Road and we ran into Stone town centre. After going around the one-way system and onto Stafford Road. We crossed over the A34 onto Eccleshall Road. We turned left onto Tilling Drive and we ran onto the industrial estate. We saw former Wolverhampton Council minibus WX07 UJT. We rejoined the A34 at the roundabout where the A51 goes Eastwards and we ran Southwards through the fast section on the A34 to the A513 roundabout. We ran the last couple of miles into town down the A34 onto Foregate Street and we turned right onto Chell Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked Westwards along Chell Road and we turned right onto Gaolgate Street. We continued through the Market Square and forwards onto Greengate Street. We stopped at a pub and Matthew had a chickenburger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a chocolate fudge cake and custard. when we had finished we walked down Greengate Street and forwards through Market Square onto Gaolgate Street. At the top end we turned right and into the bus station. We saw Select Bus 27 on a #6 to Rickerscots.

We waited for the next bus towards Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35943 on a #101 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We left the bus station onto the A34 and we ran Northwards to the edge of town. We continued up the fast section of the A34 to the edge of Stone and then we turned left onto the industrial estate. We ran around the estate and onto Tiling Drive. We turned right onto Eccleshall Road and we crossed the A34 onto Stafford Road. We turned left onto Crown Street and we stopped at the main stop in Stone. We ran North up Newcastle Road and we re-joined the Northbound A34. We ran Morth through Meaford and Tittensor and up into Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. Once we got ot the bus station we got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we stopped at the toilet. Afterwards we waited for a bus to Hartshill. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63112 on a #11 to Hanley.

Once off the bus we headed up the hill back towards Fenton. Once off the bus we set off on foot up the A52 and we walked to the bus stop. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. We saw it was D&G Bus 6006 on a #9 to Biddulph. We got on the bus and we booked to Biddulph before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road, continuing onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and into the bus station and onto Bethesda Street. We went onto Marsh Street before turning back into Hanley on Trinity Street. We turned onto Stafford Street and we picked up more passengers before heading out of town along Quadrant Road. We headed through Townsend an onto Chell Street. We went through Sneyd Green and we turned left at Smallthorne Roundabouts onto Ford Green Road. we turned left onto Chell Heath Road through Bradeley and into Chell Heath and passed his old school now sheltered housing. We carried on through Fegg Hayes past the site of new flats. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A527 and we headed up though Brindley Ford past the site on where a developer hopes to build some new homes. We left the A527 at Knypersley and up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked across the High Street and onto West Street. We turned left onto Kingsfield Road and left onto Lawton Street. We turned right onto Congleton Road and right onto Thames Drive and we stopped at the Leisure Centre. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. After the visited to the leisure centre Matthew returned to the bus station. We set off along Thames Drive and we turned left onto Congleton Road. We walked up the A527 and we veered left onto the High Street. We turned right onto Wharf Road and we waited for the next bus back to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67181 on a #7A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the High Street and we turned left at the roundabout onto St John's Road. We ran around the estate and we crossed over the A527 at Knypersley. We ran through Brown Lees and we rejoined the A527 by the industrial estate. We ran down through Brindley Ford and to Fegg Hayes. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran back through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green into Birches Head. We ran forwards onto Town Road and we crossed over the ring road. As we ran onto Quadrant Road and we went forwards onto Stafford Street. We ran past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. A few minutes later we saw a bus turn the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 47519 on the #6A to Blythe Bridge. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot on the road at the back of Victoria Road and at the roundabout we turned right into Burger King. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once we had finished eating we walked back along City Road and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a drink of orange. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Later on Matthew went out on the bus. We went downstairs and cut through onto City Road and walked to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited a the bus stop for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. We saw it was First Potteries 67174 on a #11 to Newcastle.

The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We set off onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we visited Poundland. Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. We continued along High Street. We stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage rolls followed by a Viscount biscuit and drink the bottle of Coke. When we had finished we set off onto High Street. We turned right onto Ironmarket and onto Market Lane. We continued down to the bus station and saw First Potteries 67177 on a #25 to Keele.

We ran up onto King Street past an old pub which has now been reopened as something else. and into Longton town centre and we ran up Market Street. We stopped at the cash machine and we went into the market. We walked up the Strand and to the pub on foot. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. Matthew chilled out in the pub all afternoon and afterwards returned to the residential unit. We set off along the Strand and we walked back past the bus station and we got an Intercity taxi back to Fenton. We set off out of Tesco and onto Baths Road. We turned left onto King Street and we ran through Foley into Fenton. We continued onto City Road past the petrol station and coffee shop. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Mathew went out. After getting ready we went downstairs and we got in the car and we drove onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto City Road. We ran down the hiull into Stoke and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the the A500 and we joined the Northbound carriageway and we saw Allinson Travel YP69 VRN. At the next junction we came off onto Shelton New Road. We ran through the cross road up to Hartshill and at the roundabout we ran into Newcastle down George Street. A at the roundabout we ran forwards onto Ryecroft and we turned left onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. We turned right the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning left into Ashlands Road and we ran forwards onto Thornburrow Drive past the former hospital which is going to be a new 70-home estate. We turned left onto Queens Road and we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill into Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran through onto City Road. We ran under the railway bridge and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Safeguard YJ19 ARU. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus we walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. Matthew brought a jam filled shortbread biscuit before continuing along Castle Walk and into the bus station. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 35947 on a #101 to Stafford.

We ran alongside the railway line and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room. He had a can of Cherry Coke. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst in the room we went out on the bus to Newcastle. Matthew chilled out in his room for a while and watched buses out of the window. We saw CFC International BA15 XCU outside. Later on Matthew went out to catch the bus. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford Rent-a-car YR24 VBC outside there yard.

When we had finished in KFC we set off to Leek on the bus. We crossed over City Road and we walked around the corner onto Victoria Road to wait for a bus towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw a bus turn the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 47519 on a #6 to Hanley.

Once off the bus we crossed Market Street and walked up Transport Lane and crossed over The Strand and we walked up the Strand and to the pub on foot. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. Matthew chilled out in the pub all afternoon and afterwards returned to the residential unit. We set off along the Strand and we walked back past the bus station and we got an Intercity taxi back to Fenton. We set off out of Tesco and onto Baths Road. We turned left onto King Street and we ran through Foley into Fenton. We continued onto City Road past the new petrol station and coffee shop. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Mathew went out. After getting ready we went downstairs and we got in the car and we drove onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto City Road. We ran down the hiull into Stoke and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the the A500 and we joined the Northbound carriageway. At the next junction we came off onto Shelton New Road. We ran through the cross road up to Hartshill and at the roundabout we ran into Newcastle down George Street. A at the roundabout we ran forwards onto Ryecroft and we turned left onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. We turned right the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning left into Ashlands Road and we ran forwards onto Thornburrow Drive past the fromer hospital which is going to be a new 70-home estate. We turned left onto Queens Road and we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill into Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran through onto City Road. We ran under the railway bridge and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. For tea Matthew had a jacket potato with tuna followed by cake. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. In the late evening Matthew went downstairs to spend time with the other residents ar cuppa club. Matthew had various biscuits as well as some rice crispy cakes washed down with a can of Dr Pepper. Later on Matthew went back upstairs and had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
