Trip to Newcastle / Stafford 01-08-2026

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Stafford on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Allinson Travel MM23 LMU. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 63365 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet and went back to the bus station to wait for a bus to Hanley. Once off the bus we set off onto Hassell Street and we turned left onto High Street and we visited Poundland. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We continued along High Street and we turned right onto Hassell Street and we continued onwards to the bus station and we waited for a bus to Fenton. Eventually the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63357 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stafford before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham and we turned left onto the A5035. We turned right by Bod onto Barlaston Old Road and we headed Southwards past Strongford water treatment centre and Wedgwood. We continued into Barlaston village and we contnued Southpast the site of Meaford power station before joining the A34 near to Darlaston. We continued along the A34 for a short while and we Veered left onto Newcastle Road and we ran into Stone town centre. We continued down the A520 and we crossed over the A34 onto Eccleshall Road. We turned left onto Tilling Drive and we ran onto the industrial estate. We saw former Newcastle International Airport YJ16 DXP. We rejoined the A34 at the roundabout where the A51 goes Eastwards and we ran Southwards through the fast section on the A34 to the A513 roundabout. We ran the last couple of miles into town down the A34 onto Foregate Street and we turned right onto Chell Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus. As we waited to cross the road we saw Chaserider 162 on a #432 to Eccleshall.

Once off the bus we walked Westwards along Chell Road and we turned left onto Broad Street. We continued onto Stafford Street and we turned right onto Gaolgate Street. We continued through the Market Square and forwards onto Greengate Street. We turned right onto South Walls and we stopped at the pub. For dinner Matthew had a chicken, bacon burger and chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had a slice of chocolate brownies with ice cream. Once we had finished eating we set off onto South Walls and we turned left onto Greengate Street and forwards through Market Square onto Gaolgate Street. At the top end we turned the corner onto Chell Road and we waited for a bus back to Newcastle. After we crossed the road to Sainsbury's we saw Chaserider 6502 on a #826 to Lichfield.

A short time later we saw Select Bus 8 on a #875 to Cannock.

We decided what to do next #101. We saw Chaserider 6501 on a #74 to Cannock.

As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 63112 on the #101 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we book to Hanley. The bus set off along Chell Road and we ran down to the railway station. We ran around the South end of town and over the river onto Cope Street. We ran up Eastgate and along North Walls and into the Gaol Square bus station. We left the bus station onto the A34 and we ran Northwards to the edge of town. We continued up the fast section of the A34 to the edge of Stone and then we turned left onto the industrial estate. We ran around the estate and onto Tiling Drive. We turned right onto Eccleshall Road and we crossed the A34 onto Stafford Road. We turned left onto Crown Street and we stopped at the main stop in Stone. We ran North up Newcastle Road and we re-joined the Northbound A34. At the roundabout and due to a diversion we came back down the A34 and left onto Meaford Road. We continued Northwards through Barlaston onto Barlaston Old Road and we ran Northwards to the end where we turned left onto the A5035 and we turned right onto the A34 up and through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we waited for the next bus Tunstall. As it got closer we saw that it was D&G Bus 799 on the #104 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Tunstall before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee roundabout onto the A527. We turned left onto Wulstan Drive and we turned right onto the Hempstalls Lane. We continued onto Hoon Avenue and forwards again onto Hassam Parade. We turned left onto the B5369 and right onto the A34 and we ran north through Crackley and we turned right onto Peacock Hay Road. We continued onto Lowlands Road and right onto the Chatterley Road. We turned left onto the A527 and we turned right onto the A50 and we joined Tunstall High Street. We continued down the High Street and at the top of the Road we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked down the Tower Square and passing the former pub on the corner. We walked along and we set off onto onto the Tower Square and we walked onto High Street and we walked to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63101 on a #39 to Kidsgrove. A short time later we saw the bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 63174 on a #38 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked the Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the High Street and we turned left into Williamson Street. We turned right into Scotia Road and we ran into Burslem town centre. We ran past the site of the new Kiln Gate Retail park and we continued into Cobridge and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We ran past the taxi ranks and we saw Lucky Seven SF17 LBO. We continued past the Albion and the town Hall and we ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We waited for the next #23 back to Fenton. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton we sat down. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. At the bottom of the hill we turned left onto Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road. We continued to the end of Bethedsa Street and we turned right onto Regent Road. We ran forwards onto College Road and we ran down the hill through Shelton. We turned left onto Station Road and we stopped briefly outside the railway station. At the end of station road we turned right onto Glebe Street. We ran onto the one-way system and we followed it onto Church Street. After crossing over the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We ran forwards onto Heron Street and we went through the traffic lights onto Blurton Road. After crossing over the A50 we continued through Blurton. We turned right onto Church Road and right onto Beaconfield Drive. We ran to the other end and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off to foot and we turned left onto Consett Road. We got ready to go out and we set off around 15:00 on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Consett Road. We turned left onto Finstock Avenue and we turned right onto Ripon Road. At the bus stop. On the way to the bus stop. We waited for the next first bus towards Fenton. A short tme later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Ripon Road onto we turned left onto Finstock Avenue. We turned right onto onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. At the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and up the hill into Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we went through the traffice lights onto Heron Street. We followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road and and we turned left onto Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew went out to KFC. Matthew went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and right onto City Road. We walked past Philpots and at the roundabout we turned right into Burger King. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once we had finished eating we walked back along City Road and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a drink of orange. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre. Matthew got ready to go to Newcastle. Whilst getting ready we saw Travel Express SM65 DMY heading towards Stoke. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. We stood at the bus stop and we waited for a first but to Hanley. A short time later our bus appeared. As it approached we saw it was First Potteries 63103 on a #11X to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road where we ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We turned left onto Hassell Street and we returned to the bus station and we saw First Potteries 35948 on a #101 to Stafford.

We waited for a back to Talke Pits. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63118 on a #38 to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Talke Pits before sitting down towards the back of the bus. set of out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and at the roundabout we turned left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We ran Northwards past the bus garage and we ran through Milehouse. We ran Northwards to the McDonald roundabout and we turned left onto Wolstanton Road. At the roundabout we turned right onto Chesterton High Street. We got up and got off the bus. We crossed over High Street and we got a Lucky Seven taxi up to Apedale. We set off along High Street and we turned right onto Loomer Road and we ran down to Apedale Country park. We walked down the footpath over Cleveland Road and we turned left onto Cotswold Avenue and we got a Lucky Seven taxi up back to Newcastle. We set off along Cotswold Avenue and we turned right onto the B5368 and we turned left onto the B5367 and we headed through Newcastle. We turned left onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left into Sainsbury's and we got out of the taxi. In Sainsbury's we brought a bottle of Coke. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we walked crossed under the A34 and onto Bridge Street. We continued onto High Street and we turned left onto Hassell Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Stoke. A short time later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63176 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and we went into the cafe and had a can of Coke. We continued up City Road and walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs to chill out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. After getting ready we went downstairs to the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we headed down the road into Stoke. We turned right onto the A50 and we ran through Etruria and Longport and up to the A34 junction. We came off the A500 and we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We ran up the mile or so into Talke Pits and we followed the A34 to the right. We stopped at the Greggs. With used the toilet and I went to the counter to get food. We btought some sausage rolls and drinks. We sat in and Matthew ate a sausage roll and had some of his bottle of Coke. When we had finsihed we got in car. We set off down the A34 and we followed it to the left. We ran through Talke and we continued Southwards down the A34 through Chesterton into Newcastle. We turned left on to Ryecroft and at the roundabout we turned right onto Barracks Road. We ran past the bus station and onto the A34. We turned left at the Avenue and we ran up to Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went back upstairs. Matthew returned to his room to chill out and drink his bottle of Coke. After getting ready we went downstairs to the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road and we turned left onto City Road and we saw City Cabs NK18 GDF. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500 and we went around the one-way system. We ran up the hill into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left onto Ryecroft and stopped to pick up our friend. After we picked him up We crossed over Ryecroft we ran forwards onto Barracks Road and we turn and headed along. We did a u-turn at the next roundabout and we turned sharp right onto Barracks Road and at the roundabout we turned left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34 and we ran north through Cross Heath up to Crackley and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. He had a mixed grill followed by Lemon Meringue pie and ice cream. When we had finished we set off back to Fenton. We set off onto the A34 and we ran up to the roundabout and did a u-turn. We ran back down through Crackley and Cross Heath towards Newcastle. We turned right into Sainsbury's and we got out of the taxi. We set off onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto Ryecroft and at the roundabout we turned left onto the Barracks Road and we ran past the bus station. We continued onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. Travelling up towards Hartshill. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road and we ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street. We followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew collected a few suypplies from the car and headed upstairs. He chilled out in his room and watched TV. He had a can of Cherry Coke. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Later on Matthew went out on the bus. We went downstairs and cut through onto City Road and walked to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited a the bus stop for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. We saw it was First Potteries 67174 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We set off onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we visited Poundland. Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. We continued along High Street. We stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage rolls followed by a Viscount biscuit and drink the bottle of Coke. When we had finished we set off onto High Street. We turned right onto Ironmarket and onto Market Lane. We continued down to the bus station and saw First Potteries 67177 on a #25 to Keele.

We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. It was First Potteries 67148 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room. Later on we went dowstairs the pub. we went downstairs and we got in the car we set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto City Road. We ran up onto King Street past an old pub which has now been reopened as something else. and into Longton town centre and we ran up Market Street. We stopped at the cash machine and we went into the market. We walked up the Strand and to the pub on foot. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. Matthew chilled out in the pub all afternoon and afterwards returned to the residential unit. We set off along the Strand and we walked back past the bus station and we got an Intercity taxi back to Fenton. We set off out of Tesco and onto Baths Road. We turned left onto King Street and we ran through Foley into Fenton. We continued onto City Road past the petrol station and coffee shop. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Mathew went out. After getting ready we went downstairs and we got in the car and we drove onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto City Road. We ran down the hiull into Stoke and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the the A500 and we joined the Northbound carriageway and we saw Allinson Travel YP69 VRN. At the next junction we came off onto Shelton New Road. We ran through the cross road up to Hartshill and at the roundabout we ran into Newcastle down George Street. A at the roundabout we ran forwards onto Ryecroft and we turned left onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. We turned right the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning left into Ashlands Road and we ran forwards onto Thornburrow Drive past the former hospital which is going to be a new 70-home estate. We turned left onto Queens Road and we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill into Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran through onto City Road. We ran under the railway bridge and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. For tea Matthew had a jacket potato with tuna followed by cake. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. In the late evening Matthew went downstairs to spend time with the other residents ar cuppa club. Matthew had various biscuits as well as some rice crispy cakes washed down with a can of Dr Pepper. Later on Matthew went back upstairs and had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was going back to the residential unit, but first he was going out for dinner and to get his weekly shopping. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up at 09:45 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Matthew chilled out on his computer whilst we waited for mum return home. Matthew had a Crunchie and a can of Irn Bru. mum arived back and we got in the car around 12:30. We set off through Blurton and we turned right onto the A5035. We turned right onto Stanley Matthew Way and we joined the Westbound A50. We joined the Northbound A500 and we ran through Stoke. We came off the A50 onto Shelton New Road and we turned right onto Garner Street. We stopped for food and Matthew had a cumberland ring, bacon and egg bap washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we we headed to the shop. We set off along Garner Street and we turned left onto the Eastbound A53. We turned left onto Forge Lane and we saw First Potteries 63359 on a #38 to Kidsgrove. We continued onto Shelton Boulevard and we crossed over the railway line on the new Etruria Valley link road. We ran under the A500 and we turned left onto the retail park and we saw First Potteries 35946 on a #501 Festival Park circular service. We parked up and we head towards the shop. We saw YMCA EA71 PZV parked up near by.

We went into the shop and we did Matthew weekly shop. After we had finished we got in the car and we set off towards Newcastle to drop off our friend. We set off through the retail park and we turned left onto the A527 and we ran to the top of the hill and we turned left to follow the A527 into Newcastle. We turned right onto Ryecroft and we pulled up. We dropped off our friend. We set off onto Ryecroft and we turned right onto Barracks Road. We passed the bus station and we saw First Potteries 63346 on a #99 to Chell. We turned keft onto the Southbound A34 we ran down to Trent Vale and we saw Stanton's of Stoke PSU 969. We turned left onto the A500 and we headed North to Sideway. We turned right onto the East bound A50 and we saw Allinson Travel YP69 VRN. We headed up Stanley Matthew Way and we passed D&G Bus 21 on the #24 to Norton. We turned left onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 14:15. Matthew chilled out on his computer and had a red velevet cheesecake and a can of Cherry Coke. We wrote the Blog and watch TV. Around 16:48 we got ready to return to the residential unit. Also in the Street was white minibus DU64 RXA. We got in the car and we set off through Burton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive where we saw silver minibus D11 SCX parked up. We turned left onto Church Street and left onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Steeet. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Masterson Street and we saw Stafford & District Community Link LA72 DDU. We turned right onto Watkin Street and we continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses before going out later on. For tea Matthew had chicken and rice with naan bread followed by a Toffee sponge pudding and custard. Washed it down with a can of Fanta. Later on we went downstairs and we saw it was Shelton Care Group FP75 DZB. We got on the bus and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street. and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill onto the A52 and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 and we ran into Stoke and on the one way system. We followed the road onto Lonsdale Street and right onto Fleming Street. We turned right onto Campbell Place and we followed the road around back onto Church Street. We ran up the hill into Hartshill and edge the edge of Newcastle we ran onto George Street. We went forwards onto the ring road and we crossed the roundabout onto Ironmarket. We parked up and and we went to the pub. For dessert he had chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. When we had finished we set off along Ironmarket to the High Street. We turned left onto Hassell Street and we walked past the bus station. We walked onto the ring road and past the new council building and into the park. After we had finished in the park we returned to the minibus. We returned to Fenton in Shelton Care Group FP75 DZB. We got on the bus and we set off onto the roundabout and we turned right onto barracks Road. We joined the Southbound A34 and we ran down to Trent Vale. We turned left onto Harpfields Road and we went forwards onto Keelings Drive. We turned left onto London Road and we ran through Boothen into Stoke. We ran around the one-way system and onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and under the railway line into Fenton. We ran up City Road and we turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was going back to Blurton, but first he was going out on the bus, going to Grandma's and going to the pub. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up and had a pancakes for breakfast washed down with orange juice. Matthew chilled out in his room until it was time to go out. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. We continued along Christchurch Street. We onto City Road. At the top we crossed over Victoria Road to wait for the bus at the bus stop. We got to the bus stop in time we saw Travel Express GN14 DVX. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 63112 on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street instead of going to the bus stops outside the bus station, we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We got up and got off the bus at the top of John Street. We walked down John Street and we crossed over Bethesda Street. We went into the museum Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we left the museum. We walked up John Street and onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we visited the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we crossed over the ring Road onto Lichfield Street and we turned into the the stop outside the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later the bus appeared. We saw it was First Potteries 63175 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room. Matthew used his computer and watched television in his room. Whilst he waited he had a can of Coke. He went downsairs to empty his bin and went back upstairs to his room. We turned up around 14:30 we turned up and Matthew came downstairs. We said goodbye to mum and we cut through onto City Road. We walked to the bus stop by the flats. On the way to the bus stop we saw Afford rent-a-car BF24 YEJ parked up at their garage.

We waited for a bus to Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6009 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road and we ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We turned left into The Avenue and we ran down to Hilton Road and we turned right into the hospital. We ran through the hospital and we turned right onto the A34. We ran up to Newcastle and forwards onto Barracks Road. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Whilst we waited for a bus back to Fenton and Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards we saw First Potteries 67146 on a #22 to Longton. We got back to the relevant stand and there was already a bus heading towards Grandma's. As we got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35685 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before we went upstairs and sitting down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 35685 as it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we headed along the A34 and we went up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. When it was time to go we went to the pub in the car via uncle Daves house. We set off just after 17:30 and we set off onto Victoria Street. We joined the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500. We turned right onto the A500. We veered left into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. We set off back down towards Stoke and onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and and we went around the one-way system and we turned left onto London Road. We headed into the West End, and we ran past the former Oak Tree pub which has now been demolished. We ran to the end of London Road and we sat at the light waiting to turn right onto the A34. We continued up to the pub and we parked up. We walked into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 47519 on a #101 to Stafford and Allinson Travel YP69 VRN heading towards Newcastle. Once we had finished eating we set off set off to Blurton via the Petrol station. We turned right onto the A34 and we headed North. We turned into Tesco and we headed to the petrol station. After filling up we continued home. We joined the Southbound A34 and we ran through Trent Vale. We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and we continued into Trentham and we crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We wrote the Blog and wrote an e-mail Later on we dropped uncle Dave off back at home. Later on we did some more of the Blog and had a can of Irn Bru and a Crunchie. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst in the room we went out on the bus to Newcastle. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left into Watkin Street and we turned left into Marlborough Street. We turned left into Watkin Street and we turned left into Marlborough Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. We used his computer and watched buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Stoke. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67176 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus we set off up Castle Walk and we stopped Bristish Heart Foundation Home and Fashion and Matthew bought some boots. We walked down Castle walk and stopped at Cancer Research. We continued up Castle Walk and up onto Ironmarket. We returned to the cafe and Matthew had a a piece of bakewell tart washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we stopped at PDSA Charity Shop. We continued down High Street and we went in the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity shop. We continued up to High Street and we stopped at Cash Converters. We saw white minibus YC55 AKY.

We walked up High Street and we turned left onto Hassell Street and we veered left onto Stubbs Street and we went down to the bottom end of the bus station and we saw D&G Bus 32 on a #85 to Nantwich.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hartshill before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. Once off the bus we headed up the hill back towards Fenton. After a short while we saw First Potteries 35685 on a #25 to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 63362 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop in Church Street we continued into Fenton up the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We ran up City Road and we got up and got off the bus by the the swimming baths turn. We crossed over City Road and we walked. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew took a can of Irn Bru. Later on we went out. We went downstairs and we got into a car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road and we ran forwards onto Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A52. We turned right onto Austin Street and right onto Stuart Street and to the community centre. We got out of the taxi and we saw Shelton Care Group SD71 WJL parked up. Matthew went to the toilet and then spent some time in the community centre. For dinner Matthew had some ham sandwiches and a selection of other party foods. He also had a glass of Coke. for after Matthew had a jammie wagon wheel, a jam tart and a Bakewell tart. When it was time to go we went outside to wait for the taxi. We saw Allinson Travel YP69 VRN. We returned to the residential unit in an Intercity taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto Stuart Street. We turned left onto Austin Street and left onto the A52. We headed towards the roundabout at Joiners Square. We continued past Stoke station and alongside the railway line. We turned left onto City Road and right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went uspatirs and back into the room. He chilled out in his room using his computer and watching buses out of the window. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63100 on a #11 to Newcastle.

The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet and we walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. Matthew brought a double chocolate cookies before continuing along Castle Walk. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 35946 on a #101 to Hanley.

When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and when we got to Hartshill we veered left onto Shelton New Road. We ran over the railway line and canal and we turned left onto the B5046. We turned right onto Clough Street and we ran past the Harry Shaw garage. We turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road and we turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. Once off the bus we set off down John Street and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and we saw Aston Manor Coaches PB24 AMC.

We stopped on the corner of Bethesda Street and we walked up Albion Street. We turned onto Stafford Street and we walked up Piccadilly and across Tontine Square and into the market. We sat down and Matthew ate his sausage roll washed down with a can of Coke and a Manchester Tart. Afterwards we went to the floor above into the shopping centre and we went up to the First Floor. We headed upstairs to the toilet and afterwards went out of the shopping centre onto Tontine Square and onto Parliament Row. We stopped at Poundland and we walked along Parliament Row and we walked onto Old Hall Street. A short time later the bus appeared. We saw it was First Potteries 63362 on a #11X to Newcastle.

We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off along Dawlish Drive and we turned right onto Wellfield Road and we passed old school site which is going to be a new sheltered housing site. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Dawlish Drive. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and we turned right onto Malthouse Road. We turned right onto Wooliscroft Road and left onto Corneville Road. We turned right onto Ruxley Road and right onto the A52 and and we turned left onto Eaves Lane. We turned left onto Greasley Road and continued onto Greasley Road. Before we joined the A5009 and we ran past the Cemetery to Milton and we turned left onto Millrise Road and we ran forwards onto Maunders Road and we crossed over the old railway line. We turned right onto Newford Crescent and left onto the A53. We turned into the retail park. We headed through Cobridge and we ran past the site of the new Wrights Pies shop. At the lights we turned left onto Waterloo Road. We ran down to the ring Road and then we ran around Hanley before going onto Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we continued onto Victoria Road. We ran up to the top and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We ran down to Smithpool Road and we turned left. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled out in his room to use his computer and watch buses before going out later on and we saw Just Travel BD67 NEJ. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a ham sandwich and sausage rolls. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. Matthew had a new cup which you can put snacks in the lid.
