Today Matthew was in respite. We had going to the Fylde coast for the weekend. He was spending the day with his current day service too. Matthew got up around 08:00 today and had toast and juice for breakfast. Before his own bus turned up, there were several others... First we saw his old college bus, Stanton's of Stoke BV51 ENL.

The bus turned up around 08:45 and it was his usual bus, Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off into Bentilee and onto Dividy Road. We went East towards Adderley Green before turning onto Anchor Road. Near to the bottom of Anchor Road hey turned right into the back streets and cut onto King Street. We carried on down King Street and onto City Road before turning onto Glebedale Road and going into the day service. Matthew spent the morning in the sensory room and using computers. At dinner time they went to the chip shop and had sausage chips gravy. After dinner we were going to the pub in a Lucky Seven taxi. Then route to the pub was via onto Glebedale Road and Across onto Fountain Street. We joined onto Manor Street after traveling down William Street. We carried on onto Victoria Road. We crossed joiners Square and onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. We got to the pub and parked up. Matthew used the toilet and had a drink of Coke. At Home time the bus back to Bentilee was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. The bus went onto Lichfield Street and in Hanley turned left onto Regent Centre. turned left onto College Road we turned right onto Avenue Road, turned right onto A5006 turned left onto Cemetery Road turned left onto B5045 onto Bedford Road A5006 we turned left onto Snow Hill, we turned right onto College Road. Turn right onto Lichfield Street We turned left onto Talbot Street We turned right onto Pelham St We turned right onto Pelham St onto Eastwood Road. onto A52 onto Bucknall Bridge onto A5272 onto Dividy Road we got off After around a mile we reached our destination. For tea Matthew had jacked potatoes with beans and cheese followed by scones. He used his computer, watched some television and had a bath before bedtime around 23:00... Mark
