Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had crumpets and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We turned left and ran through Dresden and up to Longton. We crossed the A50 and we turned into Chadwick Street and passed the Gladstone Pottery Museum. We crossed Uttoxeter Road on Bridgewood Street and went to the end before turning left on Forrister Street. At the ens we turned right onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill and we saw Jayjays Travel YM61 PUA. At the roundabout we turned left and we ran down to Bentilee. We picked up another service user and we headed back onto the A5272 and back to Adderley Green. We ran back down the hill towards Longton and we turned right into the side Street to avoid Longton town centre. We joined onto King Street and we ran down to Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time on the computer and also backed a carrot cake. For dinner Matthew a MacDonalds burger and a drink of Coke. In the afternoon we went to the pub. For the journey we got back onto Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. The bus set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto the A52 and towards the railway station. We carried on past the end of Station Road and to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned left onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63178 which was on a #6 to Hanley.

Matthew listened to music on the Jukebox with song from Dr Hook, Billy Ocean and Abba. When it was time to go they got back on board Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Palmerston Street and right onto the A52. At thr Joiners Square roundabout we turned left onto Victoria Road. At the top we turned sharp right onto City Road and then left on Glebedale Street. After a quick stop we carried on onto Glebedale Road and forwards onto Station Bridge Road. We went across Heron Cross lights and over the A50 into Blurton. At the bottom of the hill we saw Carl's Minibuses MV14 OOF parked up by the chip shop. We carried on up Blurton Road and forwards onto Church Street. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive. Matthew got home a little early and and I was a little bit late, so the took him for a quick spin around. We drove onto the A5035 and right into Barlaston Road. We went around the Newstead estate and we saw Stoke-on-Trent city council wefare bus FJ05 EKO, Stanton's of Stoke CN09 CJE and Newstead Primary minibus MJ61 XFG. We returned back onto Balaston Road and across the A5035 onto Church Road. We turned left onto Beaconsfield Drive and Matthew got home around 14:45. Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. I had seen all the #22 turns earlier in the day and First Potteries 67635 was booked to be our bus. Near to the bus stop was Cauldwell Construction minibus DV12 JVY.

We waited at the bus stop and our bus turned up bang on time. It turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67635.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the road and right onto the A5035. We traveled over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and near to the Man In Space we nearly caught up with First Potteries 41493 on a #21A to Hanley. We went up the hill and we turned right into Wilson Road. At the ens we turned left onto Church Lane and we ran down to the A34. As we joined the A34 we saw City Cabs GN08 DCZ & blue minibus DA59 UOO. We crossed ubder the A500 into Trent Vale and we passed First Potteries 65036 on a #101 to Stafford. We passed the end of London Road and we saw Scraggs 1655 VT & required First Potteries 67634 running out of service before we turned into Harpfields Road where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67635 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we saw mum go past going towards the pub. At the pub Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included required First Potteries 65035 on a Hanley Bound #101 service as well as Stanton's of Stoke 5658 RU going North and ABC Supreme N806 CRJ on a South bound shuttle. When it was time to go we got in the car to go and pick up uncle Dave. We went South down the A34 and we turned left onto the A500. As we travelled North up the A500 we passed Taw & Torridge of Devon UK13 TAM & TT07 TAM. At Sideway we came off the A500
as the road was running slow and we went onto Campbell Road towards Stoke where we passed D&G 174 on the #14 to Stafford. We went into Stoke and around the one way system where we saw First Potteries 32078 on a #25 to Hanley. We crossed the A500 and we went up into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. After we had picked up uncle Dave we came back up to Heron Cross and then right onto Blurton Road. As we traveled through Blurton we saw City Cabs EF05 OLX at the petrol station. We turned right into Beaconsfield Drive and we got home just after 18:15. Matthew chilled out on the sofa on the computer most of the evening. Matthew declined coming to 'The man cave' this evening as it was raining! Matthew went to bed around 00:30... Mark
