Today Matthew was going to visit grandma, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had toast and blackcurrant juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and it set off onto the A5035. We turned right and crossed the railway line into Trentham. We went right into New Inn Lane and we picked up another service user before returning on to New Inn Lane. We rejoined the A5035 and we ran over the railway into Blurton before turning left into Church Road. We ran down through Blurton along Blurton Road and we crossed the A50 and into Heron Cross. We went straight onto Heron Street and over the railway line into Fenton. We headed left onto Christchurch Street and reached our destination. In the morning Matthew spent the morning in the sensory room and then went on the computer. For dinner Matthew had cheese oatcakes followed by cake. In the afternoon Matthew went to the swimming baths. We set off on foot around the back of the Co-operative Food store and onto City Road. After crossing over the old railway line to Leekbrook Junction, we turned right onto the private road up to the baths. As we approached the baths we saw Copeland's Tour coach MIB 118 in the distance.

Matthew went to the cafe and had a glass of Coke and then went swimming. After Matthew had finished we walked back to the day centre. We set off along the private road and we turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and we walked up Temple Street onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. After using he toilet Matthew climbed aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road onto Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and onto the Westbound A50 where we saw Z Carz GL04 CVE. We came off the A50 onto Stanley Matthews Way and at the end we turned right onto the A5035. We crossed the railway line into Trentham and we turned right into New Inn Lane. After dropping of another service user we returned onto New Inn Lane and then the A5035. We ran over the railway line into Blurton and Matthew got home just before 15:00. Matthew took a picture of Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX before going into the house.

Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. Matthew had seen the turn earlier in the day and it was booked to be dud First Potteries 67639. A few minutes later the bus turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67639.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we turned right. We passed Stanley Matthews Way and we saw First Potteries 67602 on a Longton bound #22 service. We crossed the railway line into Trentham and we turned right into New in n Lane where we saw First Potteries 41540 on a #21 to the Trentham Hotel. We ran up the hill into Hanford and we turned right onto Wilson Road. We turned left onto Church Lane and we passed First Potteries 42893 on a #21A to Trentham Gardens. At the bottom of the lane we joined the A34 and we ran under the A500 into Trent Vale. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we passed First Potteries 53828 on the third & final #22 turn going towards Longton. went forwards onto Hilton Road before turning left into the City General hospital. As we traveled through the hospital grounds we passed ABC Supreme CV08 CZB & BV51 BNZ as well as First Potteries 37159 & 66849 on #25 services. We turned right onto the A34 and when got up and got off the bus opposite to the Cherry Tree. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67639 as it carried on towards Newcastle bus station.

We crossed the A34 and we saw First Potteries 37146 on a #25 to Keele. We walked up Victoria Street and we saw Roseville BV60 BAA go past us.

We went into grandma house and Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and then used her computer. We stayed for around an hour and then we said goodbye and we got in the car with mum. We ran down to the A34 and we headed South into Trent Vale where we stopped to pick up MacDonalds for Matthew. After we had finished, we crossed under the A500 into Hanford and we passed First Potteries 65039 on a Hanley bound #101 service. We ran down to Trentham and we turned left onto the A5035. We crossed the railway line into Blurton and we got home around 19:00. Matthew ate his burger fries and chicken nugget which he washed down with a cup of Coke. Matthew then chilled out on his computer and helped me write the Blog, before bedtime around 23:00... Mark
