Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had crumpets and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We got on the bus and it set off onto the A5035. We turned right and crossed the railway line into Trentham. We went right into New Inn Lane and we picked up another service user before returning on to New Inn Lane. We rejoined the A5035 and we ran over the railway into Blurton before turning left into Church Road. We ran down through Blurton along Blurton Road and we crossed the A50 and into Heron Cross. We went straight onto Heron Street and over the railway line into Fenton. We headed left onto Christchurch Street and reached our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time in the sensory room and using the computer. For dinner Matthew had MacDonalds... A burger, fries and a cup of Coke. After dinner we went outside to get on the bus to the pub. Today it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto City Road and we saw Copeland's Tours white coach MIB 279. We turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went straight on to Lichfield Street and to our destination. In the pub matthew went to the toilet and than had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63177 on a #6A to Hanley.

Matthew listened to the Jukebox with music by the Bee Gees, The Beautiful South, Eminem, Dido and the Eagles. When it was time to go we got back aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Palmerston Street and right onto the A52. At Joiners Square roundabout we went straight along the A52. By the railway station we veered left along the A52 towards Fenton. At City Road we turned right under the railway and then left joining the Southbound A500. As we went down the A500 we saw Excelsior coach 630. At Trent Vale we came off the A500 and we turned left onto the A34. We traveled along the A34 to Trentham Gardens and then we turned right onto the A5035. At New Inn Lane we turned left and we dropped off another service user before we rejoined New Inn Lane and then the A5035. We crossed the railway line into Blurton and we passed First Potteries 67631 which was going to be the bus that we caught later. Matthew got home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. I had seen two of the #22 turns earlier in the day and First Potteries 67631 was booked to be our bus. Bang on time dud First Potteries 67631 came around the corner on the #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the A5035 turning right towards Trentham. we crossed the railway line and we passed dud First Potteries 67640 on the #22 to Longton. We carried on through Trentham and we turned right onto New Inn Lane as we passed pacific Drive we passed First Potteries 41494 on a #21 to the Trentham Hotel. We passed the Man in Space and we ran up to Hanford. As the rear of the bus was now empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67631.

We turned right into Wilson Road and then left onto Church Lane. At the bottom of the hill we joined the A34 and we saw First Potteries 53123 on a #21A to Hanley and 41493 on a #21A to Hanley running together. As we waited to get onto Hanford roundabout we were passed by Leons coaches 205. We crossed under the A500 into Trent Vale and we passed First Potteries 65035 on a #101 to Stafford. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew then took another picture of First Potteries 67631 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we texted mum to say we had got off the bus. We walked to the pub and we sat and waited for her. Whilst we waited we saw Stanton's of stoke 5658 RU going North up the A34 and we also saw required First Potteries 67633 on a #22 to Longton.

We saw mum drive past in the car and we went into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included required First Potteries 65034 on a Staford Bound #101 service as well as ABC Supreme N806 CRJ on a South bound shuttle. When it was time to go we got in the car to go and pick up uncle Dave. We went South down the A34 and we turned left onto the A500. At Sideway we went East where we saw an unidentified NCB Motors coach going the other way and D&G 170 on a #14 service. We ran up to Heron Cross and we dropped down into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. As we traveled through Blurton we saw City Cabs EF05 OLX, School's Out YG58 WFS and Autocabs minibus SJ07 LWT. We turned right into Beaconsfield Drive and we saw white Iveco minibus NX03 BFP currently off road and SORN'd. and we got home just after 18:20. Matthew then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 00:30... Mark
