Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had crumpets and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and it set off onto the A5035. We turned right and crossed the railway line into Trentham. We went right into New Inn Lane and we picked up another service user before returning on to New Inn Lane. We rejoined the A5035 and we ran over the railway into Blurton before turning left into Church Road. We ran down through Blurton along Blurton Road and we crossed the A50 and into Heron Cross. We went straight onto Heron Street and over the railway line into Fenton. We headed left onto Christchurch Street and reached our destination. Once at the day centre. In the morning Matthew spent time in the sensory room and using the computer. For dinner Matthew had MacDonalds... A burger, fries and a cup of Coke. After dinner we went outside to get on the bus to the pub. Today it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and the bus set off onto Glebedale Road before turning left onto City Road. We carried on under the railway line and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran up to Cliffe Vale and we come off the A500 onto Shelton New Road passing RH Travel R11 TRL. We joined the A5006 and we ran up to College Road turning left. We headed over the top of the hill and we turned left onto Regents Road. At the end we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we reached our destination. Matthew used the toilet and then had a drink of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included blue minibus EK60 HVC.

Mathew listened to music on the Jukebox which included Agadoo by Black Lace and Hotel California by Eagles. When it was time to go we went outside to travel back on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We set off down Palmerston Street and then left onto the A52. At Limekiln bank we followed the A52 around to the right and then right onto Dividy Road. We ran up the Dividy Road to the Lidl roundabout and we did a u-turn and returned back to the respite place to drop off a service user. We set off right back onto the Eastbound Dividy Road and we turned right just after the First Adderley Green bus garage onto Anchor Road. At the back of the bus garage we could see First Potteries 41496. We went down anchor Road and we passed Stanton's of Stoke GN57 MFZ. We followed the one way system around the east end of Longton and we crossed over the A50 onto the A5035. We traveled through Dresden and into Blurton. Due to a car traveling right behind the bus, it had to go all the way up to Kearsley Way / Ladybank Grove to turn around! Matthew got home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of dandelion & burdock whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. I had seen two of the #22 turns earlier in the day and unusually First Potteries 53209 was booked to be our bus. Bang on time dud First Potteries 53209 came around the corner on the #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before we sat down. There were probably twice as many people on this Solo than there was on a normal Friday when the bus was an Enviro300! We set off onto the A5035 and we turned right passing dud First Potteries 67640 on a #22 to Longton. We crossed the railway line into Trentham. We passed Afford rent-a-car HN16 CME and Z Carz LG09 WPE and we turned right into New Inn Lane. As we traveled up New Inn Lane into Hanford we caught up with First Potteries 42892 on a #21A to Hanley. We turned right into Wilson Road and we turned left into Church Lane. At the bottom of church Lane we joined the Northbound A34. As we approached the A500 we were caught up by taxi minibus SF59 HYW and First Potteries 41499 on a #21A to Trentham Gardens. We crossed under the A500 into Trent Vale and we passed Paul's of Stoke P302 VWR heading to Blurton and First Potteries 65042, which was on a #101 to Stafford. When we got to Harpfields road the bus turned right and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 53209 before it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we went back to the pub and sat on the wall to wait for mum. Whilst we waited we saw Stoke City Community minibus CY08 KTC.

This was followed shortly afterwards by required First Potteries 67637, which was on the third #22 turn to Longton.

On the opposite side of the road we saw Stanton's of Stoke Van Hool bodied coach 5658 RU going North on 'JCB Academy 3' service.

mum arrived at the pub and we went inside. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included required First Potteries 65036 on a hanley Bound #101 service as well as ABC Supreme N806 CRJ on a South bound shuttle. When it was time to go we got in the car to go and pick up uncle Dave. We went South down the A34 and we turned left onto the A500. At Sideway we joined the Eastbound A50. We ran up to Heron Cross and we dropped down into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave, were we saw required First Potteries 41521 on a #23A to Newstead. Once we had picked up uncle Dave we returned to Heron Cross and onto Blurton Road. As we traveled through Blurton we saw a number of buses. On the run down the hill we saw A1 Embassy PE07 YNJ. At the BP Garage we saw City Cabs EF05 OLX. Further up Blurton Road we saw Intercity DN06 RHV & Schools Out YG58 WFS, We continued onto Church Road and we turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive were we saw white minibus NX03 BFP & First Potteries 53063 on a #23 to Hanley. We got home around 18:00. We popped to do some shopping, Along the A5035 and over the A50 to Tesco. We returned back along the A5035 passing First Potteries 41495 running out of service. We brought back some angel Cake, which Matthew had a slice of. Matthew then chilled on his computer until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
