Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been out with his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and Orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

we got on the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went over the railway line into Trentham before turning at New Inn Lane. We turned into Pacific Drive and we picked up another service user before going back onto New Inn Lane. We returned along A5035 before turning left into Church Toad and forwards onto Blurton Road to Heron Cross. We turned right to go through the traffic lights and onto Heron Street. After crossing over the railway we turned left onto Christchurch Street before reaching our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. We went to fetch dinner from the chip shop. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop. After dinner we went to the pub. Today we went to the pub in Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We went onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down onto the A52 and we crossed under the railway line before joining the Northbound A500. We went up to the A34 and we went North on the A34 to the traffic lights by the Cauldwell Tavern where we saw preserved Strathtay Alexander bodied single decker CRS 66T. We turned left onto Coalpitt Hill and we stopped at a pub on the right of the road. Matthew drank some Coke and visited the toilet. When it was time to go we go back on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We went back along Coalpiit Hill and onto the Eastbound A34. We turned onto the A50 and we turned left onto Gloucester Road. We went through Newchapel and then Southwards down Turnhurst Road. We joined the A527 and then we went Westwards onto the A500. The A500 was done down to Sideway where we joined the Eastbound A50. At heron Cross we left the A500 and we went through Heron Cross lights onto Heron Street. We followed the road around onto Glebedale and to our destination. After a quick stop We got back onto Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX for the journey home. We turned onto Glebedale Road and carried on Straight onto Station Bridge Road and Heron Street. In Heron Cross we went straight across onto Blurton Road and over the A50. We carried on into Blurton along Blurton Road and forward onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Road and arrived home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:18 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. Whilst we waited for the bus we saw Lucky Seven SF54 AXC heading towards the A5035.

We expected to see First Potteries 60202 on the Longton bound #22 service. It must have swapped at some point during the day because the service was now being worked by dud First Potteries 'Cherry Route' branded Volvo 66307.

We were expecting the bus to be First Potteries 60072 and as expected First Potteries 60072 turned the corner a few minutes late.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road. The bus set off onto the A5035 and we passed First Potteries 37156 running empty off the #22 to New Inn Lane. We crossed the railway line and we went into Trentham and we turned into new inn Lane. By the man in Space we caught up with First Potteries 53124 on the #21 to Hanley. We passed First Potteries 53123 on the #21B to Trentham Gardens. We carried on up the road and into Hanford and we went down Church Lane passing First Potteries 41499 on the #21 to Trentham. We joined the A34 and as the bus was nearly empty in front of us Matthew got a picture inside First Potteries 60072.

We crossed under the A500 and we carried on into Trent Vale and passing First Potteries 60205 on the #22 to Longton. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 60072 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

When we got to the pub mum was waiting for us. We went into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were ABC Supreme YX03 JVZ on a hospital link service. We also saw First Potteries 65026 on a #10 towards Newcastle. After we had finished eating we went out to the car. We called Uncle Dave and we went to pick him up. Behind us on the A34 was First Potteries 32633. We drove along the A34 and onto and A500. We joined the A50 and we came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we went into to Fenton. After we had picked up uncle Dave, we headed up to Heron Cross and through Blurton. We passed First Potteries 53207, getting home around 18:00. Matthew then chilled out watching bus videos and also using his computer before bedtime around 00:00... Mark

We set off onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. We turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we headed down to Joiners Square roundabout. At the roundabout we went straight onto Lichfield Street and we reached our destination. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings at the pub included First Potteries 63176 which was on a #6 to Meir.

When it was time to leave we got back into Intercity taxi for the journey back to Fenton. The bus went down Palmeston Street and right onto the A52. We headed up towards Fenton along Victoria Road and we turned sharp right On City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and then we reached our destination. When it was time to go home we got back onto Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX and the bus went towards Heron Cross via Heron Street and through Blurton along Blurton Road. The bus turned into Beaconsfield Drive and we got home around 15:00. Matthew had some toast and a drink of cherryade before we set off on foot all the way to Magdalen Road. I had viewed all the buses or so I thought but I wasn't sure which one it was going to be. The three that I had seen were First Potteries 60068, 60072 & 60205. As we waited for the Newcastle bound bus we saw dud First Potteries 60068 going towards Longton.

Form the order of the buses seen earlier in the day we were expecting First Potteries 60205 in the new livery to be the one to round the corner. When a barbie liveried Scania came around the corner we knew that the bus had swapped. As it got closer we saw that it was dud First Potteries 60069.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road and we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off on the A5035 and turned right. As the bus was empty behind us Matthew decided to take a picture of the empty rear section of First Potteries 60069.

We crossed into Trentham and we saw D&G 174 ahead of us on the #20 to Trentham. We turned into New Inn Lane and we carried on into Hanford. We passed First Potteries 40029 on a #21 to Trentham and we caught up with First Potteries 40175 on a #21 to Hanley. We went down Church Lane. We joined the A34 and went under the A500 into Trent Vale, passing First Potteries 60205 on the #22 to Longton. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 60069 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we saw We got to the pub and mum was waiting for us. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by Cheescake with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were First Potteries 37157 on the #22 to New Inn Lane & ABC Supreme Mercedes minibus YX03 JVZ. After we had finished eating we went out to the car. We called Uncle Dave and we went to pick him up. We set off onto the A34 and onto the Northbound A500. At Sideway we joined the Eastbound A50 passing PPH of St Albans K436 AVS. We did the A50 to Heron Cross. We dropped into Fenton and picked up uncle Dave. After we had picked him up we went back through Heron Cross and over the A50 and we saw First Potteries 40009. We carried on along Blurton Road where we saw First Potteries 60068 on a Longton Bound #22. At Critchlows Corner we went forwards onto Church Road before turning left into Beaconsfield Drive. We passed the Britannia Stadium Before joining the Eastbound A50 up to Heron Cross. We turned right to go through the traffic lights and onto heron Street. After crossing over the railway we turned left onto Christchurch Street before reaching our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. We went to fetch dinner from the chip shop. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop. After dinner we went to the pub. Today we went to the pub in Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. We turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we headed down to Joiners Square roundabout. At the roundabout we went straight onto Lichfield Street and we reached our destination. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke. highlights of the bus sightings at the pub included Nash coach NA15 SHS which was heading away from Hanley.

When it was time to go home we got back onto Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We went down Lichfield Street and then straight onto Victoria Road and we turned right onto manor Street. We turned left onto City Road and then right into Glebedale Road and to our destination. When it was time to go home we climbed aboard onto Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Christchurch Street an right onto Station Bridge Road. We carried on onto Heron Street. In Heron Cross we went straight across onto Blurton Road and over the A50. We carried on into Blurton along Blurton Road and forward onto Church Road where we passed First Potteries 42356 on a #23A to Hanley. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Road and arrived home just before 15:00. When Matthew got home he had toast and a bottle of Coke. Around 15:47 they set off in the car to pick up the friend. We headed out onto the A5035 and went left towards Dresden. We turned right onto Belgrave Road and right again onto Lightwood Road. We turned into the housing estate behind the new Florence pub and picked up the friend. We then headed back onto Lightwood Road passing Stanton's of Stoke VU06 KFA going towards Dresden. We continued onto Belgrave road following the bus and then onto the A5035. We got home just after 16:00 and we walked to the stop all the way over on Magdalen Road. The bus turned the corner around it was dud First Potteries 60205.

We got on the bus and booked to Harpfields Roads before sitting down towards the back of the bus. Matthew sat next to the friend and mum was sat on the opposite side of the bus. The bus set off onto the A5035 and we turned right. We crossed over the railway line and into Trentham. We passed First Potteries 40028 on a #21 followed by First Potteries 60193 on a #22 to Longton. We carried on through Trentham and into Hanford before travelling down Church Lane and onto the A34. We headed under the A500 and into Trent Vale before turning right into Harpfields Road. We then got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 60205 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

Matthew and co walked back onto the A34 and into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were Stanton's of Stoke coach BAZ 2002 and ABC Supreme FP53 ESU & N806 CRJ. The plan had been was for me to pick them up from the pub, but they called me I was still on the M6 stuck in traffic next to the M56 exit. As I couldn't say when I'd be back we got a taxi. We called the taxi and 5 minutes a Lucky Seven taxi appear. The taxi went onto the A34 and then North on the A500. At Sideway we turned left onto the A50. We went along Stanley Matthews Way. We then joined the A5035 and we got home around 17:45. We then had to drop the friend off back home so we jumped into the car and went back onto the A5035. We went to Dresden and turned right Belgrave Road and then left onto Dunrobin Street. We went to Longton to see what was parked up. First in the row was Z Carz minibus FP06 WTW.

We went down Lightwood Road and went into the Florence estate. Once we had dropped the friend off we got back onto Lightwood Road and we went into Dresden down Belgrave Road. We turned left on the A5035 and we got back around 18:20. I got back at 18:30. I put my railway pictures online and Matthew helped me to write the Blog. For a late snack Matthew had a slice of Toffee Cheesecake. He then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

We carried on into Blurton Road and across the A50. We went through Heron Cross and onto Heron Street. Having crossed the railway line we turned left onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. After dinner we went to the pub. Today we went in Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We traveled down to the A52 and we turned right towards the railway station. We saw Wardle Transport 2232 on a #42 service. We passed the end ofstation Road and we carried on along the A52 to joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we reached our destination. Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke. Highlight of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63173 on a #6 to Hanley.

We turned right onto Beaconsfield Road and arrived home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of dandelion & burdock whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 15:48 to Newcastle and we were expecting it to be dud First Potteries 41512. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. As it was raining we decided to walk to the stop on the A5035 as it has a shelter. On the way down Magdalen Road we saw Copeland Tours MIB 346.

We carried on onto the A5035 and we walked past the stop and we were about to cross over the road when we saw Jayjays Travel NH57 FXT heading towards Longton.

The Newcastle bus was now due... Longton bound was Stanton's of Stoke PSU 969. We then saw a Z carz bus coming out of Magdalen Road. It was Z Carz HX51 HRU.

Around 10 minutes late we saw the bus coming out of Magdalen Road. As expected it was First Potteries 41512.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We texted mum to let her know we were on the way. We headed into Trentham and we saw First Potteries 40375 on the #21 to the Trentham Hotel. At the end of New Inn Lane we saw First Potteries 53120 on the #21B to Trentham Gardens. We traveled along New Inn Lane and into Hanford. We then passed First Potteries 41514 on the #21 to the Trentham Hotel. By the A34 we overtaken by First Potteries 40375. We joined the A34 and we crossed under the A500, passing ABC Supreme YU02 GZG. We turned into Harpfields Road and we got off the bus. Matthew then took another picture of First Potteries 41512 before it carried on towards Newcastle.

Mum had spotted the bus turn into Harpfield Road so she turned into the road to pick us up. We traveled down Harpfields Road and we passed First Potteries 60072 on the #22 to New Inn Lane. We circled back around onto the A34 along Keelings Drive and London Road, back to the pub. We car out of the car and we spotted a Southbound bus approaching. We waited for the bus to crawl through the traffic and it was First Potteries 65038 on the #10 to Stafford.

We went into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were First Potteries 65034 on the #10 to Stafford and ABC Supreme FP53 ESU. After we had finished eating we went out to the car. We called Uncle Dave and we went to pick him up. We drove along the A34 and onto and A500. It was busy on the A500 and in the slow moving traffic we passed Stantons of stoke BAZ 2002 going Southwards on the A500. We decided to go along Campbell Road and into Stoke town centre. We saw First Potteries 40025 on the #23 as well as First Potteries 66841 on the #3 to Newcastle. After we had picked up uncle Dave, we headed up to Heron Cross and through Blurton. Passing through Blurton we saw First Potteries 53829 on a #23A and First Potteries 41495 on a #23 to Hanley. We carried on down Beaconsfield Drive getting home around 17:45. When it was time to return we got back in the car. We joined the A52 and went past the railway station and onto City Road. We turned towards Stoke and joined the Southbound A500. We did the A500 to Sideway and then went East along the A50 to Heron Cross. At Heron Cross we joined onto Blurton Road. We continued onto Church Road and then right onto the A5035. We turned into Magdalen Road and we reached our destination, getting back around 15:00. Matthew had some toast and a glass of Cherryade whilst we waited for it to be the right time to set off for the bus. We were catching the 16:07 today, which I had viewed earlier and was booked to be First Potteries 60205. We set off just before 16:00 and we walked all the way to the stop on Magdalen Road. Just after 16:00 we saw School's Out YG58 WFS heading into Blurton. We carried on to the pub and mum was already waiting for us.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road. We sat down near to the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. Just after we turned right we passed First Potteries 60068 on the Dresden bound #22 service. We continued West and into Trentham and we turned into New Inn Lane. We passed First Potteries 60072 on the #22 short near to the man in Space pub and we continued into Hanford. We passed First Potteries 41496 on a #21 service to Pacific Drive followed by First Potteries 53122 on a #21A to the Trentham Hotel. We joined the A34 and we went under the A500 and into Trent Vale. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we got off the bus. Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 60205 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We carried on walking to the pub and mum was already waiting for us. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were Bennetts A7 BNT / A12 BNT and Stanton's of Stoke LG05 BCL. After we had finished eating we went out to the car. We called Uncle Dave and we went to pick him up. We drove along the A34 and onto and A500. We went East on the A50 and going into Heron Cross before we headed into Fenton. After we had picked up uncle Dave, we headed up to Heron Cross and through Blurton. We paused at the doctors on Ripon Road and we saw the evening #22A with First Potteries 53405. Today Matthew was going for tea in Trent Vale but not before he spent the day with his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and juice for breakfast. The bus turned up and it was Shelton Care Group NL61 VSG.

We set off onto the A5035 and headed towards Trentham. We turned into New Inn Lane and then into Pacific Drive. Once we had picked up another service user we headed back onto New Inn Lane and the A5035. We headed along into Blurton and we turned into church Road. We carried on into Blurton Road and across the A50. We went through Heron Cross and onto Heron Street. Having crossed the railway line we turned left onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. We went to fetch dinner from the chip shop. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop. After dinner we went to the pub. Today we went to the pub in a lucky seven taxi. We set off onto Glebedale Road and left onto City Road. We turned right into Manor Street and at the en we turned left onto Victoria Road. We went down Victoria Road and across the roundabout at Joiners Square onto Lichfield Street. We reached our destination. As we got out of the taxi we saw First Potteries 63172 on a #6B to Hanley.

We crossed the road and went to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a few glasses of Coke. Most interesting working included 53829 & 65001 on the #6 as well as First Potteries 63175.

We decided to visit another pub on the way back. The bus came to pick us up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We headed up Lichfield Street and around the Hanley ring road. We came off the ring road at Town Road and we headed into Townsend and Northwood. We stopped at the pub briefly before setting off back towards home. We carried on through Sneyd Green and towards Smallthorne. We turned at the Green Star and went into Smallthorne. We headed back towards Hanley and around the ring road to Lichfield Street. We turned onto Regent Road and down through Shelton. We joined the A52 opposite the University entrance and we headed towards Stoke. We carried on along the A52 until we got to city Road and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and then to our destination. Westopped briefly before carrying on back home. We set off onto Glebedale and over the railway into Heron Street. We passed through Heron Cross and over the A50 into Blurton. We took Blurton Road to Critchlow's Corner and the forward onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive. We got to destination around 15:00. Once home Matthew had toast and cherryade and chilled out on his computer until it was time to catch the bus to the pub. We set off around 16:00 to the stop on Magdalen Road. I had been out earlier to view the buses and we were expecting dud First Potteries 60072 to work this service. On the other side of the road D&G 170 was on the Blurton Plumline.

A few minutes later and pretty much on time was as expected First Potteries 60072.

We got on the bus and booked to Harpfields Road. We sat down towards the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. As we headed towards Trentham we passed Scraggs white Mercedes minibus DX09 LAA going in the opposite direction. We turned into New Inn Lane and we passed first Potteries 60193 going the other way on the #22 to Dresden. We headed through Trentham and into Hanford. As we headed down Chuch Lane we passed First Potteries 53122 on a #21A to the Trentham Hotel. On the A34 we passed First Potteries 40304 on a #21B to Trentham Gardens. We crossed under the A500 and into Trent Vale. As we were turning into Harpfield Road we saw First Potteries 65728 on the #22 short to the Man in Space Trentham. We got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 60072 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked onto the A34 and we sat outside the pub whilst we waited for mum. Going towards the hospital we saw ABC Supreme FJ53 FBU.

A few minutes later we saw Bennetts Solo X418 BBD going North and ABC Supreme NG57 GZC going South down the A34.

We carried onto the pub and we met with mum. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses were First Potteries 65003 on the #101 & 65728 running empty of the #22 and Stanton's of Stoke LG05 BCL. After we had finished eating we went out to the car. We called Uncle Dave and we went to pick him up. We drove along the A34 and onto and A500. We then saw Coopers Tours YS09 JCS going East onto the A50.

We went East on the A50 and going into Heron Cross before we headed into Fenton. After we had picked up uncle Dave, we headed up to Heron Cross and through Blurton, getting home around 17:50. We got on the bus and it picked up another service user before going onto the A5035. We then turned left into Church Road. We went through Blurton and into Heron Cross. We carried onto Heron Street and then turned left onto Christchurch Street before getting to the destination. Matthew took a picture of the bus before heading inside. Today Matthew went in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto City Road before turning left onto Victoria Road. We went down towards Joiners Square and crossed the roundabout onto Lichfield Street before arriving at our destination. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and drank some Coke. When it was time to go we were picked up by an Autocab taxi. We went down Lichfield Street and across Joiners Square roundabout and onto Victoria Road. we turned right into City Road. Finally we turned left into Glebedale Road before we reached our destination. When it was time to return home Matthew got back onto Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. The bus took us onto Glebedale Road and we followed it through to Heron Street and into Heron Cross. We went through the lights and over the A50 before continuing through Blurton along Blurton Road. We turned right at Critchlow's Corner onto Church Road and right again onto Beaconsfield Drive. Matthew got home around 14:40 today. After having some toast and Dandelion & Burdock we chilled out until it was time to go and catch the bus. We set off just before 16:00 and we walked towards he stop on Magdalen Road. Before we got there, we spotted D&G 174 going in the opposite direction on the Blurton Plumline service.

We were expecting the bus to be required First Potteries 60073, but it was required First Potteries 65706 and bang on time it appeared from around the corner.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfield Road before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We turned right onto the A5035 and we carried on towards Trentham. In Trentham we passed Scraggs minibus 8416 VT going the other way. On New Inn Lane we passed dud First Potteries 40173 on a #21A to the Trentham Hotel. We carried on down and we turn right onto the A34. We crossed under the A500 and we entered Trent Vale, passing First Potteries 65040 on a Stafford bound #101. We then passed First Potteries 66849 on the 'Extra' 16:05 Newcastle - New Inn Lane #22 service. We passed the pub and the bus moved right to do the right turn into Harpfields Road. We turned into Harpfields Road and we got off the bus and Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 65706 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We set off on foot to the pub and we saw Arrowebrook coach YN58 FXL going Northwards. We got to the pub and as we had got there before mum we sat on a table near to the door to wait for her. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we dropped into Fenton. After we had picked up uncle Dave, we headed up to Heron Cross and through Blurton, getting home around 18:00.
