Trip to Longton / Trentham Gardens 11-08-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. It was also the day Matthew became aware of the shuttle service for the Middleport Pottery park and ride. Matthew was also going out on the bus later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We went to the shops in Longton. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we sat down. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Chrsitchurch Street. We turned right onto Station Bridge Road ans we followed the road around onto Heron Street. We went over the traffic lights onto Blurton Road and at the roundabout we joined the Eastbound A50. Wecame off the A50 at Longton and we ran along the high level road to the other end of town. We turned shrp left onto The Strand. We turned left and went into the Lidl car park. Matthew did his food shopping and we returned to Fenton. Transport for the trip was Sheltobn Care Group DY08 FFX. We joined the East bound high level road and we crossed over the A50. We went back West and past the Lucky Seven depot where we saw Lucky Seven VX63 WYK. We continued forwards onto the Westbound A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we went through the traffic lights onto Heron Street. We followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and right onto Watkin Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. After going upstairs and dropping off the shopping we went out to Stoke. We set off on foot towards the bus stop on City Road. Whilst we waited for the bus to Stoke we saw Scraggs 6626 VT heading towards Stoke.

A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was D&G Bus 44 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We got off the bus and we walked along Church Street. We crossed over the road into the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. We crossed back over Church Street and forwards onto Campbell Place. We stopped at the cafe on the corner of Hide Street that used to be called the London Grill. For dinner Matthew had a sausage bap and a can of Coke. When we had finished we walked back along Campbell Place onto Church Street. We saw First Potteries 67155 on a #21 to Trentham.

We continued to the bus stop and we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 63176 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and onto Christchurch Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. whilst in the room we saw Afford rent-a-car minibus WX18 WKJ going towards Stoke. Later on we went out to Trentham Gardens. Transport for the trip was aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we sat down. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we followed the road around onto Heron Street. We went through the Traffic lights and at the roundabout we got onto the Westbound A50. We came off onto Stanley matthews Way and we saw Stanton's of Stoke 5658 RU. At the end we turned right onto the A5035. We crossed over the A34 and we entered Trentham Gardens. We parked up and we went into the gardens as Matthew now has an annual pass. Matthew went to the toilet and we to Coffee Interlude. Matthew had a bottle of Coke. When we had finished eating we returned Fenton. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we set off out of the gardens. We turned left onto the Northbound A34 and we ran up to Hanford Roundabout. We got onto the Northbound A500 and we came off at Sideway. We got onto the Northbound A5006 and we ran up to Stoke. We joined the one-way system and we turned left onto London Road. We stopped at Sainsbury's petrol station for air in the tyres and petrol. After we filled up we turned right onto London Road. We ran forwards onto Campbell Place and we joined the one-way system. We turned left onto Church Street and right onto Liverpool Road. We veered left onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We turned left onto Glebe Street crossing over the A500 and right onto Lytton Street. At the end we turned left onto City Road and under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room watching television and using his computer. For tea Matthew had shepherds pie followed by treacle tart and custard. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. He was also going to visit uncle Dave later on. The council have brought a new council house on Langland Drive. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw D&G 114 on a #1 to Meir.

Later on Matthew went to Bentilee. The bus for the journey it was Lucky Seven minibus VX63 WYK. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Chrsitchurch Street. We turned right City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We stopped at the childrens centre and Matthew went to the toilet. He had a can of Coke. We then continued to Upper Hulme of Lucky Seven VX63 WYK. We got on the bus and we set off onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran up to Bucknall. At Bucknall we continued onto the A5009. We ran through Abeey Hulton and Milton and we joined the Northbound A53. We continued North through Endon. We ran through Longsdon and we ran into Leek. In the town centre we continued forwards onto the A53 and we ran out of town. We ran through Blackshaw Moor and then just after the Winking Man pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had Ham Egg and Chips followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Went it was time to go we returned to Fenton on Lucky seven VX63 WYK. We got onto the Southbound A53 and we ran through Blackshaw Moor and into Leek. We ran South through Leek and continued along the A53. We ran through Longsdon and into Endon. We continued South Through Stockton Brook and down to Cobridge. At the lights we turned left onto Waterloo Road. We ran down to the ring Road and then we ran around Hanley before going onto Lichfield Street. We ran down to Joiners Square and we continued onto Victoria Road. We ran up to the top and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We ran down to Smithpool Road and we turned left. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out whilst he waited to go to uncle Dave's. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw Harry Shaw YN15 ELW going towards Stoke.

When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. Matthew had some cheesecake and a can of orange Tango. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. Later on he had another slice of cheesecake and a few digestive biscuits and custard creams. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Trip to Fenton / Newcastle 16-03-2018

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. He was also going to see Grandma later on and going to the pub and returning to Blurton for the weekend. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Outside we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

A few minutes later we saw Z Carz KE03 JXC going towards Heron Cross. When it was time to go out we set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Chrsitchurch Street. We saw Intercity WF07 FFG on Gimson Street. We carried on to the day centre. In the morning Matthew did baking and made cakes. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. In the afternoon Matthew walked to the pub. We set off onto Albert Square and we saw blue minibus DE02 WKT. We continued onto Christchurch Street and to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. Matthew chilled out in the pub all afternoon and afterwards retirned to the residential unit. We set off along Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit to wait unril it was time to go back to Blurton. Matthew went up to his room to use the comnputer and chill out. Whilst we waited we saw Harry Shaws BF15 LBO going towards Stoke.

I turned up to pick Matthew up and Matthew got his pictures back on to his camera to take back to Blurton. Once we were ready we we went downstairs to the car. Just before 15:00 we set off back to Blurton. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we continued onto Heron Street. We went through the traffic lights and we crossed over the A50 and we saw First Potteries 67152 on a #23A to Newstead. Behind us was Z Carz YJ62 RCO. We continued through Blurton along Blurton Road. We turned right onto Church Street. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive past the new build house and we saw Stanton's of Stoke KS05 BUS outside the school. We got home around 15:15. When we got home Matthew had toast and Irn Bru. Today we were catching the 15:56 to Newcastle as we were going to the pub via Grandma's House. We set off around 15:45 on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. Whilst at the bus stop we saw First Potteries 63096 on a #22 to Longton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035. We went over the railway line into Trentham and we s. We turned right into we saw Strathmore EU16 ENO in the industrial estate. We also passed white minibus HK58 ECC. We crossed into Trentham and we saw Stanton's of Stoke BV16 PBO. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we passed First Potteries 67157 on a #21A to the Trentham Hotel. We ran up the hill into Hanford. Due to roadworks in Hanford instead of turning left into Wilson Road we ran down Mayne Street down to the A34. We crossed under the A500 and we saw Newcastle School HG62 XDB and First Potteries 63174 on the final #22 turn. We headed into Trent Vale and we passed 65038 on a #101 to Stafford. We turned right into Harpfields Road and forwards on Hilton Road passing D&G 159 on a #9 to Biddulph. As we travelled through the hospital we saw ABC Supreme FV07 UCG, & E-zec patient transport YN15 FJY. We turned right onto the A34 and we could see First Potteries 32627 ahead of us on a #25 to Keele. A couple of stops down the road we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over the road we headed up the hill to Grandma's House. At Grandma's Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. Around 18:00 we set off onto Victoria Street and we saw white minibus YK08 PVA. We turned left onto the A34. As we past the hospital we saw First Potteries 37156 on a #25 to Keele. We continued down the A34 and we ran down into Trent Vale and we saw GC14 OOE by the club. We carried on down the A34 and we went into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included ABC Supreme white minibus KX13 DZL going Northwards. We also saw First Potteries 65034 on a #101 to Stafford. Once we had finished eating we set off to pick up uncle Dave. We ran down the A34 and we joined the Northbound A500, passing Alfa 61 going the opposite way. We came off the A500 and we turned right onto the A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we dropped down into Fenton to pick uncle Dave up. Once we had picked him up we ran up to Heron Street and we crossed over the A50. We saw Lightning Travel BX04 VKL at the Lightning house. We continued into Blurton along Blurton Road where we saw School's Out YG58 WFS. We turned right onto Church Road and we turned right into Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 19:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we composed a few e-mails and sorted a few things out. We then chilled out on the sofa doing e-mails and writing the until bedtime around 01:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. He was also going to visit uncle Dave later on. The council have brought a new council house on Langland Drive. When it was time to go out we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre In the morning Matthew went out on the bus. We set off on City Road and then walked up to the bus stop outside the Marmaris takeaway. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63097 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We stopped outside the old job centre as the #11 no longer calls in the Interchange. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We ran around to Lichfield Street and we turned right to pull up outside the stop adjacent to the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we walked up Lichfield Street. We turned right onto Old Hall Street and right onto Charles Street. We went to Iceland to do some shopping. Matthew went shopping brought a toffee cheesecake. We walked onto Birch Terrace and as we walked back we saw Stoke-on-Trent city council welfare bus LK17 DXB.

We continued down Birch Terrace we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we crossed over the road onto Tontine street. For dinner Matthew went to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had a chicken breast burger and fries followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. We set off down Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street. back at the bus station we saw Stanton's of Stoke VK61 BVG on a #61 to Bradeley Village. Matthew went to the toilet and then they waited for a bus back to Fenton. When the bus appeared it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23A to Newstead.

Whilst we waited for the bus to be readied for service we saw First Potteries 37158 on an #25 to Keele. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67155 before we sat down.

As we waited to depart we saw First Potteries 67635 on an #7A to Biddulph. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned left onto Station Road and we ran part the railway station before going right onto Glebe Street. After a brief stop we continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill we turned right onto Smithpool Road where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked up Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre, In the afternoon Matthew went to Bentilee on Lucky seven VX63 WYK. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned right onto the A50 link road and we joined the Westbound Heron Cross and onto the Westbound A50 We came off the A50 onto Stanley Matthews Way At the end we turned right onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line to Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we dropped a service user off before returning back onto the A5035. We ran back through Blurton and Dresden and over the A50. We joined Chadwick Street and we went past the Gladstone Pottery Museum. We crossed over Uttoxeter road and onto Bridgewood street. We turned left onto Forrister and then right onto Anchor Road. We ran to the top of the hill and into Adderley Green. In the back of the First garage we saw First Potteries 53207. We turned left onto the A5272. We turned right onto Beverley Drive and left onto Dawlish Drive where we stopped. After a stop we returned to Fenton on Lucky Seven VX63 WYK. We set of along Dawlish Drive and we turned right onto Beverley Drive. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran past the Firstbus depot. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill and down into Longton. We turned left onto Market Street and we ran around Longton on the one-way and we turned right onto Commerce Street. We turned right onto the Strand and we ran forwards onto King Street. We ran trough Foley and forward into Fenton. We ran onto City Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out before going to uncle Dave's. Whilst we waited we saw Harry Shaw YR16 BLJ going towards Stoke.
