Today Matthew was going to Captain Kooks for tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00. He got dressed and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We set off onto the A5035 and we went left into Church Road. We ran down through Blurton along Blurton Road and we joined the A50. We came off at the link Road and we ran up the hill to City Road. We ran down City Road and we turned left onto Glebedale Road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew copied some writing and then went on computers. For dinner Matthew had cheese oatcakes followed by Bakewell tart. In the afternoon Matthew went swimming. We went on in a City Cabs taxi. We set off onto Glebedale Road and then turned left onto City Road. We ran down over the Leek line and we turned right into the private road to the swimming pool. Matthew went to the toilet and then went swimming. Afterwards we went back to Fenton in a City Cabs taxi. We set off along the private road and we turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and then left onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and then to our destination. For the jurney back home we climbed aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A50 link road and then onto the Westbound A50 and we ran down to The Bet365 Stadium. We got on Stanley Matthew Way and we ran down to the other end. We turned right onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line in Trentham and we turned right into New Inn Lane. After dropping off another service user we came back towards Blurton. Matthew got home just before 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of dandelion & burdock whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. We had seen the turn earlier in the day and it was booked to be dud First Potteries 67603. Whilst we were waiting we saw dud First Potteries 67635 on a #22 to Longton.

A few minutes later the bus turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67603.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we headed over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we climbed the hill into Hanford and we turned right into Wilson Road. We ran down the hill onto the A34 and we went under the A500. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we passed First Potteries 67602 on the final #22 turned to Longton. We turned into the hospital and we saw ABC Supreme VK06 LTV. We turned right onto the A34 and we got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67603 as it carried on towards Newcastle bus station.

Mum had driven from Grandma's to meet us, and we got in the car. We set off along the A34 and we went up Barracks Road past Newcastle bus station. Of interest in the bus station were D&G 163 on the #73 service and Arriva Midlands 3696 on the #164 service. We drove ont the A53 and we ran up through Basford and down through Etruria. We went across Cobridge Light and we continued along the A53 as far as Sandbach Road where we veered left. We crossed over the crossroads and we stopped at Captain Kooks. Matthew had a breakfast as well as some of mum chips on bread. After we had finished eating Matthew went to the toilet and we paid for the food and left. We then drove up the hill to Smallthorne and we saw First Potteries 53122 on a #7A to Biddulph. We also saw First Potteries 41522 on a #98 to Ball Green. We ran through Smallthorne via Fell Street, Coseley Street and Croft Street. After we picked a few things up in Smallthorne we headed onto Norton Drive and then North on the A53. We went via Newford Crescent to Milton and we turned right onto the A5009. We ran through Abbey Hulton under the bridge that First Potteries 32054 hit on Saturday and into Bucknall. We joined the A52 and we turned right into right onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill and we joined the A50 link road. We joined the Westbound A50 and we came off at Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road through Blurton. We followed the road to the right onto Church Road and we turned right onto Beaconsfield Road. We got home just before 19:00. We then chilled out at home watching television and using the computer until bedtime around 23:00... Mark
