Trip to Longton / Fegg Hayes 02-05-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus and going to visit uncle Dave later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice. Whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Lucky Seven SJ03 ETU.

A short time later we saw Stoke-on-Trent city council LK17 DWF gpong towards Longton.

At 09:00 we set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre, where we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked up.

In the morning Matthew went to Longton to do some shopping. We set off on foot onto Glebedale Road and across City Road. At the top we crossed over Victoria Road to wait for the bus at the bus stop. We saw D&G Bus 115 on a #1 to Meir.

A short while later we saw First Potteries 63176 on a #11 to Hanley.

A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 41500 on a #6 to Coalville. We got on the bus and we booked to Foley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up City Road and forwards onto King street we got up and got off. We crossed over King Street and we walked through the passsge under the railway linbe onto Baths Road. We continued past the petrol station to Tesco. We went in and Matthew went to the cafe and had a cup of coke. Once we had finished in the cafe we walked though the car park back to the Interchange to wait for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 114 on a #1 to Meir.

A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 119 on a #1A to Park Site.

We got on the bus We booked to Fenton and we sat down. We set off out of the Interchange onto Baths Road and we turned left onto King Street under the railway line. We continued through Foley along King Street and into Fenton. We went forwards onto City Road and we got up and got off at the Travers Court bus stop outside the block of flats. Once off the bus we walked onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. We went to Fegg Hayes in taxi. We saw that it was Lucky Seven minibus SH57 NHU. We got on and we set off along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we continued onto Heron Street. We went through the traffic lights onto Blurton Road and we turned right at the roundabout onto the Westbound A50. At Sideway we turned right onto the Northbound A500. We came off the A500 at Etruria and we went Eastwards along the A53. We continued through Cobridge and we veered left onto Sandbach Road. At small thorne roundabouts we went left onto High Lane. We continued to the end at at the roundabout we turned right onto the A527. We ran down the hill to the bottom into Fegg Hayes. Matthew had a burger and fries followed by by a lemon meringue pie. Matthew had a drink of Coke and then went to the toilet. When we had finished e returned to Fenton in Lucky Seven minibus SH57 NHU. We set off onto Chell Heath Road and we ran into Smallthorne. We ran up Ford Green Road and we turned left onto the A5272. We ran through Sneyd Green to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road clockwise. WE came of the ring road aonto Lichfield Street and we ran down to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we turned right onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room and use the computer. We also watched buses out of the window. We saw First Potteries 63179 on a #11 to Hanley.

A few minutes later we saw maroon minibus DY60 PXS going towards Longton.

A few minutes after that we saw D&G Bus 44 on a #1A to Park Site.

Matthew went up to his room to chill out whilst he waited to go to uncle Daves. When it was time to go we set off on foot onto Temple Street and we walked down to Smithpool Road. We walked down City Road and we crossed over the road to the bus stop. We waited for the next #23A so we could go to uncle Dave's. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 43876 on a #23A to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Mount Pleasant. The bus set off up City Road and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. When we got to the railway bridge over the line to Derby we got up and got off the bus. We then continued along Smithpool Road before turning right onto the path the leads onto Willowdale Avenue. We went onto Whieldon Road and we went to uncle Dave's house. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots with gravy followed by a slice of toffee cheesecake. Later on he had a drink of Fanta orange and a few digestive biscuits. Matthew chill out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned right onto Sutherland Street. We turned right into Clarendon Street and we crossed over the railway line on the footbridge. We continued onto Hawkins Street and left onto Napier Street. We crossed over City Road and we went along the private road on which the baths are situated. We continued onto Victoria Road and and we stopped at Aldi to pickup Matthew's weekly shop. Once Matthew had finished shopping we returned to the residential unit in Lucky Seven SJ06 JZG. We set off up Victoria Road and we turned onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
