Today we decided to have a local trip. We had originally planned a different trip, but mum wasn't feeling very well. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up just before 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After the decision was made, Matthew got dressed and we wemnt to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we ran through Blurton along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. We continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the A500. We came off at Stoke and went around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we stopped at Sainsbury's for petrol. We then headed back to Blurton. We set off onto London Road and we turned left onto All Saints Road. We turned right onto Flethcher Road and continued onto South Terrace. We turned right onto Sideway Road and right onto Campbell Road. We joined the Northbound A500 and we turned right onto the A50. We came off by the BET365 Stadium and as passed the entrance we saw Pauls of Stoke Y28 POS and other leaving the stadium on their way to Coventry City. We continued along Stanley Matthew way and we turned left onto the A5035. We got back to blurton around 11:40. Matthew went to the toilet and then we set off on foot to the stop all the way over on Magdalen Road. On the way to the stop we saw First Potteries 63176 on a #22 to Newcastle. As we missed this bus, we decided to go towards Longton. We got to the stop and a very short time later we saw the bus come around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63366 on a #22 to Longton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Magdalen Road and we turned right onto Finstock Avenue. We turned left onto Beaconsfield Drive and at the end we turned right onto Church Road. We followed the road around to the left onto Blurton Road and at the bottom of the hill we turned right onto Longton Hall Lane. We climbed the hill into Longton and onto the A50. We crossed the roundabout onto Baths Road and we entered Longton Transport Interchange. We got off the bus and we cut through onto The Strand to the Britannia cafe where we decided to have dinner today. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished we walked back down The Strand to the bus stop where we spotted D&G Bus 6008 on a #1A to Wood Lane. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer 67156b on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hnaley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We bus set off down The Strand and we ran under the railway line onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road past the site of the new Burger King. We turned right into Victoria Road. We continued down the hill and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station. we got up and got off the bus. At the bus station Matthew used the toilet. We then decide to head to Tunstall for dessert. We waited for the next bus towards Tunstall. A short time later a bus came on stand. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63352 on a #103 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and booked to Tunstall before we sat down at the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we ran forwards onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and left onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto New Hall Street and we re-joined Marsh Street. We ran forwards onto the A50 and we ran through Cobridge up to Burslem. We carried on along Scotia Road past the site of the new Lidl. We turned left onto Williamson Street and right onto Tunstall High Street. At the top of the High Street we got up and got off the bus. Matthew then got another picture of First Potteries 63352.

We walked down to the Tunstall Cafe and Matthew went to the toilet whilst I sort out his food. The lady here also now knows our order by heart! Matthew had a slice of Toffee Cheesecake which he washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we consider catching either a bus to CKidsgrove or the recently introduced #104 to Newcastle. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 797 on a #104 to Hanley.

We looked on the map and we saw the buses coming up from Hanley were all running quite late due to temporary ligts and football traffice through Burslem. A short time later we saw the bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 63173 on a #38 to Hanley.

We decided to head back towards Hanley. We crossed the road and we got on the bus and booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the High Street and we turned left into Williamson Street. We turned right into Scotia Road and we ran into Burslem town centre. We ran past the site of the new Kiln Gate Retail park and we continued into Cobridge and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We ran past the taxi ranks and we saw Lucky Seven SF17 LBO. We continued past the Albion and the town Hall and we ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We headed towards the car park to get a few bus pictures. On the way we saw D&G Bus 6002 on a #9 to Biddulph. We headed up to the car park and we took a few pictures. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67177 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

Another vehicle seen was Stanton's of Stoke 7052 VT on a #61 to Bradeley.

We left the car park and we walked down onto John Street. We saw D&G Bus 765 on a #16 to Leek.

We headed into the bus station and we went to the shop. Matthew bought a bottle of Coke, a flapjack and a Milky Way. We decided to head towards Biddulph. The plan was to catch the D&G bus up to Chell and the catch First Potteries bus forwards. We sat at the relavent stop Matthew had the flapjack. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 149 on a #7A to Fegg Hayes.

We got on the bus and we booked to Chell. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside D&G Bus 149 before we sat down.

The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road past the sight of the new Tesco Express store. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527 and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 149 before it carried on towards Fegg Hayes.

Once off the bus we crossed over the A527 and we headed into the shop. Matthew bought a bottle of Dr Pepper and a chocolate bar for later on. We walked around the corner and we crossed over the A5272. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 47520 on a #99 to Newcastle.

Whilst we waited for the bus, we realised that we would have to do one of 3 things if we went to Biddulph. We could come back on the same bus, we could have 10 minutes at Biddulph or we could spend over an hour there. We decided not to go all the way to Biddulp. We could get off at Brindley Ford and got to the pub there instead. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67156 for the second time that day!

We got on the bus and we booked to Brindley Ford before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the A5272 and and at the roundabout we turned right onto the A527 We ran down the hill towards Oxford passing a new development on the site of a former pub. At the roundabout by Chatterly Whitfield, we veered left to continued up the A527. We ran inti Brindley Ford and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67156 as it continued on the #7A towards Biddulph.

We walked along Bridge Street and we turned left onto Fisher Street. We tried the pub dorr and it appeared to be closed. We decided to head back towaerds Chell, as we knew the pub there was open, as we had walked past it earlier on. We looked on the Bustimes.org site and we saw that there was a Southbound bus in a few minutes! Wew walked along Fisher Street and we cut through onto the A527. The was a new development nearby. We crossed over the road and we waited for a bus. Almost immediately we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6005 on a #9 to Westbury Park.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fegg hayes before we sat down near to the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A527 through Fegg Hayes. We turned left onto Oxford Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 6005 before it carried on towards Clayton.

We wa;led around the corner considering walking up the hill to the pub, but we noticed there were people waiting and the bus stop. We looked on bustimes.org and we saw there was a bus due in a couple of minutes. A few minutes later a bus turned the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63179 on a #99 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Chell before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up the A527 and we headed into Chell. We turned the corner onto the A5272 and we got up and got off the bus, Once off the bus Matthew took another picture as First Potteries 63179 continued on the #99 to Newcastle.

We walked around the corner to the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we went to the bar and we ordered some drinks. Matthew had a glass of Coke. After we had finished our drinks we set off out of the pub onto the A527. We turned left onto the A5272 and we waited at the bus stop. We decided to turn down the 2 buses that were heading to Hanley, We let First Potteries 67156 on a #7A to Hanley, and we turned down D&G Bus 149 on a #7A to Hanley. Across the road we saw D&G Bus 121 on a #9A to Hanley.

A few minutes later another bus came around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67173 on a #99 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the High Lane and we turned left onto Little Chell Lane and right onto Carlton Avenue. We turned right onto Irene Avenue and we turned right onto Queens Avenue we ran down the hill past the park and we went forwards onto Boulevard. We turned right onto the A50 and we continued down the High Street and we ran past the former Co-operative bank. We stopped at the bottom before joining Brownhills Road. We ran down the hill to Trubshsaw Cross and we continued straight through Longport and over the A500. We went up Porthill Bank and we followed the A527 through Wolstanton & May Bank and into Newcastle. As we got to Newcastle we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 278 on returning from a day trip to Bury Market on Jubilee roundabout. We crossed the roundabout onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed to the bottom end of the bus station. We didn't have to wait for long before we saw our bus. It was First Potteries 63366 on a #22 to Longton for the second time today.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus sat in the bus station for about 10 minutes before departure. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and we ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital. We continued through the hospital grounds. We turned right onto Hilton Road and forwards onto Harpfields Road. We ran to the end and we turned left onto the Southbound A34. We ran under the A500 into Hanford and we turned left onto Church Lane. We climbed to the top of the hill and we turned right onto Wilson Road. We turned left onto New Inn Lane and we ran into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Blurton. We passed the end of Stanley Matthew Way and we turned left onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and left onto Beaconsfield Drive where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 63366 before it continued towards Longton.

Once off the bus we walked back to the house. Matthew used the computer and we had an apple whilst we waited for mum to return from shopping. When mum got home I went to the chip shop. I returned and Matthew had sausages chips and gravy washd down with a can of Dr Pepper. Later on i took uncle Dave home. Matthew had his medicatio and we did the Blog and uploaded photos. We also wrote an e-mail. Matthew chilled out on his computer until bedtime at 00:00... Mark.

Today we decided to do a local trip as mum was stuck at work. No reserach for the trip was done other than to look up the times of the buses and to check the weather. The weather was forecast to be mainly dry with some sunshine, relatively warm for the time of year. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up at 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We got ready and went out in tne car to pick up uncle Dave just before 11:00. We set off through Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We continued onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Afterwards we set off up Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We ran down the hill and back through the roadworks and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we went back home and parked up the car. We went in for 10 minutes as we had just missed a bus. We walked to the stop all the way over on Magdalen Road and we waited for a bus towards Trentham. A short time later the bus turned the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67173 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and booked a Smart Day ticket at £4.80. This ticket is a multi-operator ticket valid throughout the North Staffordshire area. We sat down near to the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went past the Trentham Hotel we turned right into New Inn Lane where we got up to get off the bus at the man in Space and Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67173 before it carried on to Newcastle.

Once off the bus we waited for a service to Stoke. Matthew checked the map and there was one in the estate on it's way! A short time later the bus turned the corner and we saw it was First Potteries 67159 on a #21 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus travelled through Trentham up New Inn Lane, We passed the building site where new housing is being built. At the top of the hill we turned right into Hanford along Wilson Road. We ran down Mayne Street before joining the Northbound A34. We crossed under the A500. We turned onto London Road and we saw First Potteries 67155 on #21 turn to Trentham. We ran through Oak Hill past the former Oak Hill pub. We continued through the the West End before running into Stoke Town centre and Campbell Place. There was nothing of interest parked up in City cabs and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67159 before it continued towards Hanley.

We walked along Campbell Place and we crossed over the road. As we turned into Church Street we saw First Potteries 63176 on a #11 to Hanley.

We headed into Stoke Cafe. Uncle Dave escorted Matthew downstairs to the toilet and I ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we walked down Church Street to the Newcastle bus stop. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67141 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and in the petrol station. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We got in the bus station. Once off the bus we walked down to the bottom end of the bus station. We saw D&G Bus 6008 on a #1A Meir.

We saw that there was a #99 to Chell due shortly, so we walked up to the top end of the bus station. On the way we saw Arriva Midlands 3693 on a #64 to Hanley.

We stood at the stops at the top end and waited for the bus. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67157 on a #99 to Chell Heath.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee roundabout onto the A527 and headed through Wolstanton. We turned right onto Porthill Bank and we we went down the hill and over the A500. We went through Middleport. We continued up the road and at Trubshaw Cross past the site of Price's Teapots which is currently being restored. We went left onto Brownhills Road. We joined Tunstall High Street and at the top of the Road we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67157 before it carried on towards Chell Heath.

We headed into Tunstall Cafe and Matthew went to the toilet whilst I ordered some food. Matthew had a slice of toffee cheesecake washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we went outside and we crossed the road to catch a bus out of Tunstall. We decided to go and catch the new #9A service. I had read the timetable wrong and I thought the first stop after the Woodland Road terminus was the stop outside of the old police station. We walked onto the Boulevard and went under the A50 in the subway. We saw the bus come past us running late in the opposite direction. After running to the terminus and back up the High Street we saw the bus come around the roundabout towards us. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 796 on a #9A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the A50 and we turned left into the Boulevard. We ran down the hill past the park and we went forwards onto Queens Avenue. We turned left onto Irene Avenue and we turned left onto Carlton Avenue and right onto Little Chell Lane. We turned left onto High Lane and we ran through the to the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527 through Fegg Hayes. We turned right onto Oxford Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw D&G Bus 6002 on a #9 to Clayton.

We crossed the road and headed to the bus stop opposite. As we approached the stop we saw the bus coming. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6006 on a #9 to Biddulph.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the Oxford Road and we turned left into the A527 and we headed up though Brindley Ford past the site on where a developer hopes to build some new homes. We continued to Knypersley and we ran around through the housing estates of Biddulph before running into town via St John's Road, past Aldi. We ran forwards onto Colliers Way and up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 6006 before it returned towards Clayton.

We walked along Wharf Road and we turned left onto the High Street. We went to the pub and Matthew visited the toilet whilst I ordered drinks. Matthew had a glass of Coke. We worked out that we had about 15 minutes for the next #9 towards Hanley. After we had finished our drinks we headed up the High Street to B&M. Matthew had a bottle of Coke and we bought a pack of Flake. We walked back onto Wharf Road and we saw D&G Bus 106 between runs on the #95 to Audley.

We sat on the bench and we had a Flake each. A few minutes later we walked towards the stop as the bus was imminent. The bus appeared from the roundabout on the bypass and as it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6003 on a #9 to Clayton.

We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the High Street and we turned left at the roundabout onto St John's Road. We ran around the estate and we crossed over the A527 and we ran down through Brindley Ford into Fegg Hayes. We turned left onto Oxford Road and we ran forwards into Chell Heath. We passed Matthew's old school site which is going to be a new sheltered housing site. We ran through Bradeley to the traffic lights. We turned right and we ran up the hill through Smallthorne and right again onto Ford Green Road past the pub which which is not going to be a new Wetherspoons pub. At the top of the hill we turned left onto the A5272 and into Hanley. We ran into town along Town Road and we crossed over the ring road. We turned right onto Quadrant Road and we went under the Intu Potteries shopping centre. We ran forwards onto Stafford Street and we passed the town hall. We ran along Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off towards John Street car park. On the way we saw iTravel taxi minibus HX66 ONU parked up on Lichfield Street.

We continued towards the car park at John Street. On layover in the bus station was First Potteries 35943.

We went into the car park and we went ups a flight of stairs. We watched buses out of the opening at the side. We saw D&G Bus 159 going on layover.

After taking a few more bus pictures we headed don the stairs onto John Street and back to the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet and we headed down to stand S. The bus was already on stand. As we got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket under the scanner for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned left onto Copeland Street. We continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We ran forwards onto Heron Street and we went through the traffic lights onto Blurton Road. After crossing over the A50 we continued through Blurton. We turned right onto Church Road and right onto Beaconfield Drive. We ran to the other end and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67151 as it continued towards Newstead.

We walked back home and Matthew went on his computer. I popped out to the chips shop and returned with food. Matthew had sausages chips and gravy washed down with a can of Cherry Coke. Later on we had a few coconut biscuits. Atound 19:00 we took uncle Dave home. We set off through Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We continued onto Wheildon Road and we parked up uncle Dave's. We went inside and Matthew updated the calendar. We also went upstairs to say happy birthday to uncle Rob. We got back in the car and we set off back to Blurton. We set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 19:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. He was also going to see Grandma and returning to Blurton later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We saw Shelton Care Group HF73 YPW outside. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. We continued along Christchurch Street. We onto City Road. At the top we crossed over Victoria Road to wait for the bus at the bus stop. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 63146 on a #6A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street past the site of the new housing development. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to the toilet. Afterwards we went to the chip shop. We set off out of the bus station onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we went to the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we crosse over the ring road and over Lichfield Street. We returned to the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63366 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle. we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we passed the bus garage. At the back we saw First South Yorkshire 36277 as well as another Bee Network single decker. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road and we went past KFC. We ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. As we got off the bus we saw Leon's 244 in the bus station. Once off the bus we set off up Castle Walk and we went to The Coffee House. We turned left onto Ironmarket and we turned left onto Astley Walk and we stopped for a ice cream van. Matthew had a vanilla ice cream. We set off along Astley Walk and we turned left onto Hassell Street back to the bus station. We ewaited for a bus back to Fenton. As sbort time later a bus came on stand. We saw it was First Potteries 63360 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we saw Travel Express GN14 DVX on the shuttle bus to the hospital. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and we got in the car and we drove onto City Road and we ran forwards onto Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road and we headed down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto Lichfield Street. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we ran around to Town Road. We headed towards Birches Head and we joined the Northbound A5272. We ran through Sneyd Green and up to Smallthorne roundabout. We continued onto High Lane and we ran to the end. We turned right onto the A527 and down the hill to Fegg Hayes. We turned right onto Chell Heath Road and we turned left onto Cumberbatch Avenue. We turned right into Hambro Place and we visited the playground. There is a new construction taking place. Later on we returned to Fenton. We got in the car and we set off along Hambro Place, We turned left onto Cumberbatch Avenue and we turned left onto Chell Heath Road. We ran through Chell Heath past Matthew's old School which is now sheltered housing. We continued through Bradeley and at the end of the road we turned left onto Ford Green Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and ran up through Smallthorne to the roundabouts. We turned left onto the A5272 and we headed through Sneyd Green and to the edge of Hanley. We ran clockwise around the ring road and we turned left onto Lichfield Street. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we went across the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out on his computer. Matthew had a new panda bear. Just after 15:00 I arrived with mum and we came to pick Matthew up. Matthew came downstairs and we said goodbye to mum who went of to Grandma's and me and Matthew went to the bus stop. Wwe cut through onto City Road and we walked down to the bus stop. We waited for a bus to Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67179 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. Near to the roundabout we saw St Thomas More Catholic Academy HW20 HXR. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Another bus came on stand and it was First Potteries 35936 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 35936 as it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we headed along the A34 and we went up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. When it was time to go we went to the pub and we headed down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale. We continued through Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 67174 on a #101 to Stafford and white minibus BD69 ESU. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham and we turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. Matthew also had a can of Cherry Coke and a couple of slices of brioche bread. We wrote the Blog and sent a couple of e-mails. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus and going to visit uncle Dave later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley.

We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we walked down to the stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. On the way we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 278. We walked to the bus stop by the flats and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards Chell. we saw First Potteries 63117 on a #7 to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Chell. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 63179 before we sat down.

When it was time the bus set off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527. just down the road we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed over to the The Whitfield Valley Centre. At the centre Matthew went to the toilet. For dinner Matthew had sausage oatcakes and toast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we headed back to the amin road to catch a bus back towards Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 32081 on a #99 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up the A527 and at the roundabout we turned left onto High Lane. We ran back through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green. We continued into Hanley. When we got back to Hanley we got up and got off the bus. when we got back to the bus station we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 44515 on a #23 to Newstead.

We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. we saw Cabability WF13 YTY parked up nearby. After Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and and we saw Stanton's of Stoke 82 HBC. we stopped at Aldi to pickup Matthew's weekly shop. Once Matthew had finished shopping we returned to the residential unit in Autocabs taxi. We set off up Victoria Road and we turned onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs. When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. Matthew had some cheesecake and a can of Fanta orange. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. Later on he had another slice of cheesecake and a few digestive biscuits and custard creams. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the new building under construction, which is now getting near to completion. We continued up Temple Street and we saw Cabability WF13 YTY parked up nearby. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
